@nerves-nebula sorry to @ you but like I have a rant about your AU and an animatic and am really hoping you see Found this AU today and it’s great but breaks my little heart at the same time. I relate to, like, all of the brothers in some way, I'm practically an amalgamation of all their problems minus the daddy issues. Gonna put a break here bc I have Qs that may or may not spoil stuff?

Omg I have a few questions too,, like,, I know Leo seems to be into crossdressing (I haven’t read the whole thing yet so I’m not entirely sure if he’s trans,) but is he also gay??? I know other AUs make him out to be, so I’m curious!! And does Raph eventually restrict Donnie’s internet usage somehow...?? He definitely seems closest to the mother hen of the four... I mean hence this animatic lmao If any of this was already answered and I just haven’t gotten to it yet.. oops... (A little drabble about tm(n)t Leo for @nerves-nebula!)

Leo had a basket.

It was big and it was empty, but not for long.

He tugged on the strings of this blue hoodie.

He could see people push through other people, cars trek by, the wind dancing between the cars as though even the slightest nudge could topple the metal barrier.

He shivered. He had stuff to do.

He took to the rooftops, bag in hand. Trained, steady feet patter quickly across- building by building- the smells of some kind of food-filled district wafting into the air.

He knew what he was looking for.

Leo had a basket.

And soon, the area he was waiting for invited him in with the promise of the warmth from his home once he's done.

The scent of Donnie's favourite foods hugged the air.

He skillfully dropped down from the rooftops into another alleyway. He pulled on the strings to tighten the hoodie around his face. Not that he wasn't beautiful- he knew he looked absolutely gorgeous. But humans would focus on the fact he's a giant turtle more.

But he wouldn't mind wearing something a bit more open and everywhere right now. Just right now. To go into a crowd of people, wearing delicate and soft fabrics, a skirt spilling out on the floor like a pile of swans-

The idea faded fast, and he felt gross.

He just wanted to get this done already.

Leo had a basket.

A gentle knock at Donnie's door startles him, a few of his papers being thrown in the air by his full body flinch. He turns, expecting to see someone come in, but no one did. Odd.

Donnie- ever curious- stands and opens his door (an uncommon occurrence, too used to people barging in uninvited) to find a basket.

It's filled with food. All for him, in a purple basket. Some of his safe foods, all delicately placed atop one another.

Mikey is a loud sparkling presence, and Leo is a blistering passion. Only Raph could have done this.

He'll remember to thank him later.

Donnie had a basket.
