Favourite Show: Pit Babe

it had to be, right? pit babe took over my brain in so many ways and i don't think a single day goes by that i don't think about it at least a little. whatever season 2 brings us, i'm so damn grateful to this show for it's incredible characters.

Cringiest: Khun Dad (Sunset x Vibes)

nothing has given me the ick more than lin calling sun 'khun dad' (at least until he called him daddy in front of all their coworkers). finding this screenshot and having to watch this again was painful (sun, you could have said no!!!!!)

Most Visceral Viewing Experience: DFF

i cannot put into words the emotions that i felt watching this week to week. i was devastated, i was appalled, i was confused, i was angry. i never want to put myself (or non) through that again, but christ it'll stay with me for a long long time.

they go through all of that, only to die... by snake bite??? i remember just pausing the episode and having to sit with that for a while, because what do you mean he just got taken out at the eleventh hour by a snake bite?????

Best Villain: Tony (Pit Babe)

he's stylish, he drinks green juice, he's called 'daddy' by all, he kills kids, he deals in human trafficking, he wants to sell his favourite adopted son's hypothetical baby, he's not winning any father of the year awards, but he can win this one.

Favourite Physical Fight: Mahasamut and Tongrak's Dad (Love Sea)

once again, i wanted to pick jackjoke because every interaction they have has me frothing at the mouth. but mut beating the shit out of rak's dad? that was delicious. the idea that he'd been uncollared?? the build up of weeks of him being on his best behaviour, and when finally given freedom (however unwillingly), the first thing he does is stand up for his man? good shit.

Favourite Emotional Fight: Jack and Joke (Jack & Joker)

they're winning this one. everything that happens in that fucking hospital ruined me entirely. the intensity that yinwar bring to every scene, paired with war's ability to be the most devastating crier possible just made this. perfect (and i'm still sad about it, even now).

This is actually one of my fav fics but i've gotten distracted while writing it and now i can't get back :')

it's is a very silly, very fluffy one where Nueng teaches Auto how to bake because being a talented chef, Auto has never baked anything. He was always too busy taking care of his family's chinese restaurant, and is now scared to bake cause he feels that he *will* mess it all up. part of his insecurity comes from how Nueng can bake so, so well, and also pull off a more than decent savoury dish when need be—Auto feels like a one trick horse.

anyway, Neung shows his around the kitchen and helps Auto to bake a simple cake for Chef Oab's bday. Auto is sure he will mess it up and why is he the one baking when he has a baker bf?? but they both know oab will love it more if it's from Auto's hand cause that grumpy chef likes to pass cooking skills to ppl who love cooking owo

Auto does mess up, and his icing skills are horrible, but with Neung's help and his own efforts, they end up with an edible (downright delicious, if you ask Nueng) cake with amateurish icing.

Ofc, they make a mess with the leftover icing and get it all over the place! (Nueng smears icing on his lips and says he needs help cleaning up. Auto rolls his eyes but ends up kissing him in the end!)
