So I have a bit of a cold* and other than being a bit tired and run down feeling, the main symptom is my voice is very hoarse. My throat isn't even that sore, but compared to my usual customer service voice at work every single time I answer the phone today the person is like "TJ??? Is that you???? I thought it was an imposter!" On the plus side I can now sing Bonnie Tyler songs - wait interrupting myself because I just tried to sing and I think I can sing lower than normal??? Will test this and update the post *for realsies just a cold, my dad had it last week

What can be sweeter than seeing teeny tiny harvest mice snoozing while cradled by flower petals? These cute little creatures appear to prefer tulips and irises for their visits, since they love to snack on pollen and once their tummies are full, to enjoy a blissful nap hidden from prying eyes.

Tiny Tuco-tuco (Ctenomys minutus)

Conservation Status- Data deficient (Data inadequate to determine a threat category)

Habitat- South America

Size (Weight/Length)- 35 cm

Diet- Grasses

Cool Facts- The tiny tuco-tuco is one of the smallest species of tuco-tuco and yet they are no less mighty. True to their name, while digging a burrow the tiny tuco-tuco makes a little ticking noise. They rarely ever leave their burrow outside of feeding. They burrow from grass patch to grass patch and only eat what is immediately outside their hole, never fully leaving their home. Very little is known about tiny tuco-tuco mating behavior as it all occurs underground. It is believed that some tiny tuco-tuco are more social than others, living in small communities rather than sticking it out solo. They are sadly seen as pests to farming despite being essential for directing rainwater underground through their tunnels.
