pirate mer dream

okay, so im just imagining a puffy who is a pirate and raids a trader's ship, and in the cabins underneath the deck, she finds a tank with a baby mer inside. the water is murky, the tank is unkempt, and the mer looks starved. the mer speaks in clicks and whistles, like a dolphin, but seems to understand english. so, he seems to understand when puffy tells him she would free him.

puffy immediately adopts the baby mer and names him dream. she orders her men to carry the tank to her ship so she can clean it and keep dream on her ship. but she also allows dream to swim in the ocean when he wants, too. dream is a free mer, now. but dream attaches himself to puffy quickly, seeing her as his new pod.

dream is smart and a quick learner and eventually learns several human languages, including english. he gets along well with his older human brother, foolish. the pirate crew are endeared to him. he makes new friends, like bad and his son, sapnap. everyone loves their new baby mer crewmate.

except ... puffy didn't realise just how quickly, and how much, mers grew.

pretty soon, she has a three-hundred foot leviathan who protects her ship in the deep waters and would die for her crew.

(never mind the fact that the leviathan, the mer, is a total sweetheart and commonly teases his older brother about being his "little" brother, to foolish's chagrin).

like, imagine one scene. george is new on the ship and keeps track of the ledgers and numbers of the ship. he doesn't know about their fellow mer crewmate yet, because dream doesn't show himself to new crew members right away. one day, they're raided by another pirate ship and are taken captive. sapnap edges closer to the railing on the side, he takes his dagger - which hadn't been apprehended yet like the other weapons - and he throws it over the side of the ship.

it plops into the water with an anticlimactic splash.

george could almost scream. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" he wants to yell. instead, he says, lamely, "that was our last hope. gone."

the opposing pirates all laugh at him, thinking sapnap stupid.

"any moment, now," sapnap says.

"any moment, what -"

and then a leviathan breeches the water, covered in green scales. its at least a hundred feet long, or at least, the bit outside the water is. its tail is still hidden in the depths. and, oh - the leviathan looks pissed, too. its teeth are bared, long, shark-like teeth on display.

"who dares hurt my family?" the leviathan demands, holding the previously thrown dagger pinched between its fingers.

"dream!" sapnap says, grin wide.

The day was clear and there was a bit of a breeze, so after spending a few weeks getting ready, he decided to go out to sea with his small boat. It had been a long time since he hadn't taken a boat ride, so he was really excited.

“Uhh.. Bad, do you really think it's a good idea for you to go alone..? I know you really like the sea and all that, me too, but you could find yourself with a dangerous mer…” Bad turned to look at the young man and gently placed a hand on his shoulder trying to calm him down.

"Nothing will happen to me, Foolish, I promise you." he told him with a warm smile. The teenager just sighed. “Okay… but, really, be careful… you know perfectly well that you are like a father to Dream and me… We would feel horrible if something happened to you…” he replies looking down.

Bad gives him a little hug before pulling away from him and ruffling his hair. "I'll be fine, I'll be back before night falls." Foolish nodded, waving goodbye to him as Bad started to get on the boat.

The walk was quite calm, several dolphins had appeared along the way and later a really big whale. Although soon the sky turned a darker color when some storm clouds began to appear.

"Oh muffin... I'm going to have to get back before the storm gets any closer..." Bad went to turn the boat around when something much bigger tore it in half, causing Bad to fall into the water, slowly sinking.

Bad held his breath as best he could and tried to swim to the surface, but unfortunately, he couldn't find it. He was about to try to breathe when suddenly, he was in a warmer space.

He was squished against a wall by something quite soft and in a few seconds the water disappeared after a loud sound that came from behind him.

Bad took another breath and tried to orient himself to where he was, when the soft ground beneath him shifted slightly. 'Oh no… This is not the floor…'

He looked around the warm space, seeing a pair of rows of sharp teeth and behind it, a huge uvula, followed by a deep throat. 'Oh god… He was in a mouth… and most likely a mer’s mouth'

The pale turquoise blue tongue beneath him moved again, pushing him into the back of his mouth. 'Oh no… the mer is going to eat me…' Bad tried to crawl forward, but the tongue pushed him all the way back.

He frantically thought of something not to be swallowed, when he looked up and saw the uvula, clinging to it as his life depended on it. The mer swallowed once and Bad felt himself slipping down a bit. The mer swallowed a second time,sending him down into his throat.

Bad slid for a moment until he pressed his back against one of the walls of the throat and stretched out his legs, stopping his descent completely. The mer choked for a moment, swallowing to try to make Bad slide down, but he didn't.

He swallowed a second time, getting the same result. At that rate the mer would end up choking. A few seconds passed when suddenly a lot of water entered the throat, pushing Bad and forcing him down.

Before long he slipped into a more open space. The stomach of the mer. Bad kicked and pushed the walls of the stomach, he didn't want to die like that. 'He couldn't die! He Promised Foolish!' The walls around him closed in, pinning him in place. “Can you stop? You won't get anything by doing that." "Let me out!"

The mer seemed to consider this before answering. "I can't do that-" "Why not-?!" "Unless you want to drown, you should stay inside." Bad hugged his legs, placing his head on them. "Dying by drowning is better than dying digested..." That made mer stop.

"Die? You are not going to die, rather I have saved you from dying.” Bad raised his head. "What are you talking about? I'm in your stomach..” “Storage stomach, basically a second stomach but without digestive fluids. All mers have one.” Bad sighed, relaxing a little at his words.

For some reason he felt that he could trust him. “I was calmly swimming when I saw another mer tear your boat in half and well, I decided to save you. And although it seems a little strange, I had never seen a human. I had been told that you were small, but I did not imagine that you were that small.” The mer commented, trying to establish a conversation.

“Oh… Thanks for saving me then… My name is Badboyhalo, but you can call me Bad to keep it short.” “Nice to meet you, my name is Skeppy and I am a turquoise blue betta mer.” responded the mer to Bad’s presentation.

"I guess that explains why your storage and mouth are turquoise..." Skeppy chuckled, patting his storage a little. "I guess so, haha.. Now relax, it will take a couple of hours to get to the coast." “Okay, ‘geppy...” Skeppy laughed a little more at the nickname the human gave him, continuing on his way towards the coast.

It took a couple of hours until they reached the coast where Bad had left many hours ago. A human was there waiting quite worried and nervous when he saw the mer. Skeppy pushed Bad back into his mouth, opening his mouth to let him out.

Bad got out very carefully, not wanting to cut himself on his Skeppy's sharp teeth. In a few seconds he felt that he was hugged tightly by someone. “Bad, you said you'd be back before dark! I was really worried that something had happened to you!” "I'm so sorry Foolish" He said, ruffling the young man's hair.

"I had a little problem but Skeppy, the mer who brought me back, helped me" He added when Foolish's gaze fell on the giant mer. "So, he's friendly?" Bad nodded.

"Now let's go home, I'm a little tired after everything that's happened…" He turned for a moment to look at the mer. "I hope to see you again soon, I really liked you, bye!" he said with a smile before walking away with Foolish.

Skeppy felt that his face was burning. Was he falling in love with the human…?

Jack is disenchanted and disappointed. As exciting as it was to talk to Tiny Can, he'd expected more of the AI Therapist.

Sai went back to sleep again, he's exhaused from crying and reliving his worst memories. And Ji Ho and Jack decided to play a bit. But the only 'game' available is a boring puzzle... Jack: "Oh my, I don't know what's more boring. This puzzle or our therapy... Have they never heard about gamification? Or fun? Or to make it a bit more interesting?" Ji Ho agreed. Though the insight about Vlad and his own locked away feelings was interesting. Maybe he should follow and explore these thoughts a bit deeper.

Suddenly Saiwa was wide awake: "What did you just say, Jack?"

Jack: "Uh - probably something wrong? You finish the puzzle, Ji Ho, I go and run."

Saiwa: "No! That's actually brilliant!

Gamification! The Game!!!

We combine the AI with our game and make it a Therapy Game!" Jack and Ji Ho: "..." (Haha you can see how Jack and Ji Ho's brains are working ^^') Saiwa: "And not just for us - for other creatures too! This would have been so helpful when we'd been so scared and alone! And who knows? This could be a sucess and we'd make money to pay Rubyn and the others back!" We barely get to see Saiwa this excited ^^' But here some of his main interests meet, his love for games and computers - and being there for others and help them.

Vlad went back home to grab Saiwa, Jack and Ji Ho's content they'd already had created for their game over the last months and then they started their epic gathering to develop the:

For the computer game they'd planned, Jack already made the concept art and design, Vlad wrote and Ji Ho composed the music and soundscapes. They are going to feed all this to Tiny Can and see what kind of 'gamification therapy' he'll create. How exciting! (For me it really is! Imagine this: a game that also is a therapy - supported by an AI! How amazing would that be if you could see the things that make you suffer from a distance and you'd find solutions for them by doing insightful AND funny AND interesting quests! You'd gain helpful new habits and get rid of unhealthy ones by playing a game! Where I live it's so hard to find a therapy place. We have to wait up to a year -.- I do have high hopes in AI. You could go by your own pace. And you wouldn't even have to leave the house!)

After a very long gathering, Ji Ho and Jack relaxed in the hot tub. Jack's pain is thanking him. They sat silent for quite a while, lost in their thoughts. Very unusual for Jack, but his brain is running on hyper speed now. He's so excited :3 And Ji Ho was pondering about his locked down feelings. The Bond made it easy for him to love Luci. They had a whole different approach to each other. While his relationship with Vlad was doomed from the beginning (their story in (kind of ^^') short -> here).

The only ocassions where Ji Ho was really comfortable with Vlad was, when they touched and made love. And this is also a benefit of the Bond and Luci because Ji Ho hated being touched in the beginning. After all he'd seen at the House of the rising Sun in the slums of Sulani. But Luci had approached him slowly and tenderly. Ji Ho shared his thoughts with Jack: "Do you think this might be a way to become more comfortable with Vlad and finally be able to love him? And to find my buried down feelings?" Jack: "I think that's brilliant! At least one of us learned something in that therapy. When you charge the Bond later, just try a bit more and we'll see how it goes."

A little later Vlad came down: "Uhm, I'm leaving now. The Bond..."

Ji Ho left the hot tub and went over to Vlad to charge the Bond - and try his new theory... They embraced each other as usual and then Ji Ho tried to kiss Vlad.

But Vlad moved his head aside and whispered: "I want nothing more than you - but not like this." Vlad's breath ghosted over Ji Ho's still wet skin and made him shiver.

Vlad still has his principles - not to forget his foolish pride. No way he's going to have a plain physical relationship with Ji Ho - without love. There is no 'two out of three ain't bad' or 'it's better than nothing' in Vlad's world ^^' Only 'it's all or nothing'. He would do anything for Ji Ho, but he won't - and can't do that. It would break him apart. That does not mean it was easy for him to not give in and leave. Vlad really is the master of self control ö.ö

And then Vlad left. Ji Ho seems a bit piqued after Vlad's rejection ^^'

What happens when slime hides his true self?

Warnings: Swearing

Summary: Slime disappeared for some reason and after searching for weeks. A few years later they meet again.

It's just a normal day and Quackity was bored, he went scrolling on his phone and came across the NEWS.

-We are reporting that there has been GIANT sightings in the forest at -**** ** ****. If you come across it call -*** *** *** ****! The reward is 10k diamonds.

-Giant sightings huh?.. WAIT- 10K?! Hah! Capturing a giant is all I gotta do? c'mon... how big can it be- Quackity was interrupted by the news reporter.

-The giant is calculated to be about 100ft tall minimum.

-Oh shit- Quackity still went out because of the cash prize. or.. did he.

Walking around the really disgusting place, Quackity found pieces of slime just on the trees but ignores it. But...How was he going to take down a giant? well... he had brought some traps for it. While being lost in his thoughts his eyes widen at the huge cave Infront of him, hearing growls from there and Quackity gets ready to set up the trap.

-Finally! that took foreve- Quackity was cut off by loud stomping and quickly went into hiding.

He saw it. The feared giant... but... why did it look so.. familiar...

Quackity quickly snaps back when he hears the trap being triggered and walks over with a smug look.

-Well well well...The so feared maneater... The giant! Caught so foolishly in my trap...Well...The cash prize is not what's making me so proud...It's the fame I'm going to get! Quackity! the man who captured a 100ft tall giant! Everybody will fear me after that!

-P-please! I mean no harm! Let me go! The Giant blurted out while sobbing.

-Aww...No.

The giant recognized him...

-Wait...Quackity?...

Quackity's eyes went wide as he shouted out nervously: -H-Huh?! How the fuck do you know my name!

-Oh god... how did I use to say it?... Right!

Quackity stares in confusion

-Hey Quackity from Las Nevada's!

Quackity was stunned... dropped his axe and went closer.

-W-wait...Slime..? Charlie?!

The giant smiled softly as Quackity was confused...

-W-why did you leave?! How are you a giant?! How long has it been?!

-Well...Didn't wanna freak ya out... Cmon- I was in a human disguise too long. It started to fuckin reverse.

-I'm so sorry for trapping you! let me just... get this off...

Quackity gets the trap off Charlie and stands back a bit. Slime tries and shrinks down to his level...well still a bit taller.

-Wait! so- so are you a size shifter or some shit? Quackity questions.

-Well, I guess so! It's just uncomfortable to be at this size. If I'm in this form too long, I start to grow back. Slime starts to explain his entire species to Quackity.

-Huh...Not used to you not saying "I'm made of meat and lots of bones!". Quackity chuckles and so does slime.

-Wait so when you were at that size...was it really uncomfortable?...Quackity is still stunned and wants to know more.

-Nope! I was a baby slime! All slimes grow up eventually, but in a different place. Like forbidden swamp areas or forbidden areas in general. Slime explains more.

-Wait! do you actually uh...eat people?

-Gods no! Well...Not me at least. I just eat like berries and stuff.

Quackity let out a sigh in relief.

-Good...So...I'm guessing you are not coming back to Las Nevada's...Right?

-There's a lot of risk on the line. I could potentially grow in the building, or in front of people, and It's uncontrollable for me.

-Well...What do you say about me visiting you every day then?

-Really? you would do that?

-Of course slime... I missed you man! You're my best friend!

Quackity backs up a bit as slime starts growing back.

-So... Is this your final state? Or do you get bigger?

-This is teenage state. Well... I'm a teen in slime years, which is 1400 years. In human years that's 14. As an adult I will be able to control my height with no worry. But yes. I could still grow.

Slime puts his hand down and signals Quackity to go on it. Quackity does just that and watches as slime puts him on his shoulder.

-Good view?

Quackity nods as he admires the sunset.

-Uhh...Better crouch so nobody spots you... As Quackity says that slime hears a sound from a bush.

He puts Quackity down chases after it. It was fundy.

-NO! I'M SORRY! I WAS JUST GETTING BERRIES! PUT ME DOWN! I WONT TURN YOU IN! I DONT WANNA BE EATEN!

-Calm down Fundy! you are going to alert the entire forest! Quackity tries to calm Fundy down and explains everything.

-Slime...? Oh I have to tell you how much Quackity was crying for those days- Ya wanna hea-

-NOPE, SHUT UP!

Fundy and slime both chuckle and Quackity just seems embarrassed.

As everyone was talking about what they have been doing, Sirens can be heard.

Slimes eyes widen in panic as he grabs Fundy and Quackity and runs into the cave.

-Cmon... Shift back... Slime struggles to shrink back down but he got it...a little too well... He was uh.. smaller then expected. he has shrunk down to a few inches. There was no time to acknowledge it. Quackity picks him up and puts him in his pocket. They exit the cave and are met with Tanks and soldiers.

-Have you seen a giant around here?!

-A giant? Quackity fake laughs

-Giants don't exist! Fundy adds.

Quackity can feel slime growing back slowly and puts him down when nobody's looking. He stops at human size and nobody acknowledged his sudden appearance. Quackity could tell Slime was really uncomfortable but The police were not letting them go until they were in the clear.

-Alright... I guess nothings here...

After they get far enough Slime quickly turns back and lays down.

-That hurt so fucking much...

-What does that even feel like? Fundy asks.

-Literally compressing my body to shrink...

-Oh god...

After that, Quackity went to visit his giant friend everyday. Fundy would visit once in a while, but when Foolish found out about him. He went there with Quackity every day as well to study him. (Not experimental. but his species alone.)

In my Leo and Foolish feels so I wanna talk about them saying I love you/TQM(Te Quiero Mucho) to each other

Like that is the biggest deal to any doozer because Foolish just doesn’t say I love you ever and even in lore/rp he’s always hiding his true feelings. So that fact he never hesitates to say tqm or hide his feelings from Leo warms my heart so much. It’s just so them against the world. I love them so much!!!

While yes i have experienced gender dysphoria to the point of tears and anxiety attacks and the lot, its never been as emotionally damaging as when i think of infinity and remember i am nowhere near close, i am one path and i may be able to redirect the path i am on but i cannot split nor can i grow. I think that however is something for me to think about later.
