🕊🕋🕊 General Amal 🕊🕋🕊
🕋 For The Month of Rajab 🕋
• Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (as) has reported the Holy Prophet (S) as saying:
Rajab is the month of imploring for forgiveness for my people; so, you should implore forgiveness repeatedly in this month much more than you do in other months, for Almighty Allah is forgiving and merciful. This month is described as the advantageous month, because mercy is poured on my people during it so heavily. You should thus
Repeat very much the following imploration prayer:
ِ أَستغْفر ٱ هللَّ و أَسأَلُه ٱلتهوبةَ
I ask Allah for forgiveness and I pray Him to accept my repentance.
• It is recommended to fast on three days in the month of Rajab: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It has been narrated that one who fasts on these three days in one of the Sacred Months will be awarded with the reward of nine hundred year worship.
• If one is incapable of fasting during the month recite the following instead 100 times each day in the month of Rajab: ِ
Glory be to the All-majestic God.
Glory be to Him other than Whom none should be glorified.
Glory be to the All-honorable and All- dignified. َ َ ِ
Glory be to Him Who has dressed Himself with grandeur that fits none but Him.
• The Holy Prophet (S) is reported as saying:
Whoever repeats the following imploration for forgiveness 100 times in Rajab and immediately gives alms after it, Almighty Allah will conclude his life with mercy and forgiveness. Also, whoever repeats it 400 times, will be given the reward of one hundred martyrs: ِِ
I implore the forgiveness of Allah. There is no god save Him,
the One and Only Who has no partner, ِ
and I repent before Him.
• The Holy Prophet (S) is also reported to have said: Whoever repeats this litany 1000 times in Rajab, Almighty Allah will decide for him 100,000 rewards and award him 100 houses in Paradise:
لا َ إ ِ ٰ ل ه إ ِ لا ه ٱ هللَّ َُ
There is no god save Allah.
• A Hadith reads that whoever repeats the following imploration for forgiveness 70 times in the morning and 70 times in the evening on each day in Rajab, will be admitted by Almighty Allah if he dies in Rajab and Hellfire will not touch him on account of the blessings of Rajab: ِِِ
I implore the forgiveness of Allah and I repent to Him.
After this imploration is repeated seventy times, it is recommended to raise the hands towards the sky and say: ِ
O Allah, (please do) forgive me and accept my repentance.
• It is recommended to implore Almighty Allah for forgiveness in the following form one thousand times in Rajab so that He will forgive: ِ
I implore Allah, the Lord of majesty and honor,
to forgive my all sins and offenses.
• One who recites Surah Tawheed 100 times on Fridays in Rajab will enjoy, on the Resurrection Day, light that draws him towards Paradise.
•It has been narrated that the Holy Prophet (S) said,
“One who recites Surah al-Tawheed 100 times at one night in Rajab will be decided to have fasted for one hundred years for the sake of Almighty Allah Who will also decide for him one hundred palaces (in Paradise) in the vicinity of one of the Prophets.
• The Holy Prophet (S) is also reported as saying that Almighty Allah will forgive all the sins of those who offer a ten unit prayer, at one night in Rajab, reciting in each unit Surah al-Fatihah once and repeating Surah al-Tawheed three times.
• In ‘Zad al-Ma`ad,’ `Allamah al- Majlisi has mentioned that Imam `Ali Amir al-Mu'minin (as) reported the following from the Holy Prophet (S)
If one repeats the following Surahs and invocations three times each day and each night in the months of Rajab, Sha`ban, and Ramadhan, he will have all his sins forgiven even if they are as many and much as raindrops, tree leaves, sea foam... etc:
(1) Surah of al-Fatihah,
(2) Ayat al- Kursi,
(3) Surah of al-Kafirun,
(4) Surah of al-Tawhid,
(5) Surah of al- Falaq,
(6) Surah of al-Nas,
(7) the following invocation:
All glory be to Allah;
all praise be to Allah;
there is no god save Allah;
Allah is the Greatest;
and there is no might and no strength save with Allah, the All-high the All- great.
(8) the following invocation: ِ
O Allah: send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
(9) the following invocation: ِ
O Allah: (please do) forgive the believing men and women.
(10) the following invocation, four hundred times: ٍ ِ ِ ِِ
ا َ ل ل ه ُ ه ه م ا غ ْ ف ر ل ل ْ م ْ ؤ م ن َين َ ِِ
أَستغْفر اللَّ وأَتُوب إلَيه
I seek the forgiveness of Allah and I repent before Him.

Weekly Journal 2 : Travelling to Saudi Arabia
I am writing another journal about my life, wondering how much has changed since my last entry. This entry picks up where I left off, continuing my reflections on my adventures while traveling. This time, I will be going to a place where all Muslims strive to be, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia. This journey starts off with my uncle, a significant figure in our family, who successfully won a case that resulted in a substantial financial gain for him. My mom, who played a crucial role in helping him, convinced him to sponsor us to go there. My uncle agrees because he's trying to find a meaningful thank-you gift to show his appreciation for the help he received. After much thought, they have decided to stay for two weeks, one in Makkah and the other in Madinah. This made me glad because my friend had recently returned from Makkah and was describing his experience there. He added that while he was there, he felt at peace for the first occasion in his lifetime and could spend the rest of his life there. This made me wonder what caused him to feel that way.
As the time draws near, the awaited moment is here. Excitement fills the air, and anticipation builds as everyone is united in our preparations and looks forward to what lies ahead. My mother made a clumsy yet devastating mistake on our trip to the airport. She genuinely forgot to close the gate, which caused my father to panic. Fortunately, our gate had yet to be renovated to an automatic gate, which calmed my father, who was still a little furious with my mother's ineptitude. I'm also thankful our journey over the next few hours went smoothly. The flight will take approximately 8 hours, and I am perfectly prepared. I've pre-downloaded a handful of movies and comics I'll binge-watch. Some include Straight Out of Context, which tells a story about Ice Cube's origin and his group called N.W.A. For comics, I've downloaded Tower of God and God of High School, which has around 1000+ chapters.
After 8 hours, we were near the Saudi border. From there, we could see how their city is organized. It was phenomenal seeing the gorgeous night panorama from above. I was relieved when we landed since my back was beginning to hurt. As we exited the flight, the stewardess sent us off with a bright smile, hoping we would fulfill our Umrah peacefully. There, everything felt weird because almost everything was written in Arabic. But first, we went to grab some food because, as always, food on a flight tasted weird compared to that on the ground. We only bought some bread to ensure we weren't hungry since we arrived around 1 a.m. Once done, we took a bus that would take us to the hotel where we would be staying. During the ride, we were able to see the city. It was interesting to see that some buildings were shaped differently than others, making me think, are there any advantages to that shape? Or just for ecstatic? Once arrived at the hotel, my uncle assigned a room for us. Each room could fit 3 people. My cousin, brother, and I were assigned to one room while others were assigned somewhere else. Everyone slept early because it had been a very tiring day.
This section will be about my journey throughout Madinah. We started our day by going to the Nabawi Mosque to pray for Subuh. It was an intriguing experience because while they basically recited a normal surah, how they pronounced it made it captivating. Upon completion, we would shop, walk around, and enjoy the views and their culture. Walking around felt normal because their vibe was the same as if I were in Malaysia. The only difference is that they are very proactive in getting customers. Some even resorted to using physical strength to pull people around. This made me uncomfortable because while it wouldn't be much of a problem for men, it would be troublesome for women. Other than that, everything else was fine. The food is mouthwatering. I especially enjoyed the kebab because the meat was well-seasoned, and the sauce was well-made. The frozen dates were also delicious, giving a texture different from regular dates. I recommend that others try it once in their lifetime because the difference in the quality of the dates compared to the ones we ate in Malaysia is phenomenal. As I almost forgot, another reason why Madinah was important for us Muslims was because the grave of our prophet, Muhammad, is located inside the Nabawi Mosque. To go there, you would need patience because many people are willing to even injure others just to see the tomb. My experience in Madinah was good, as I even saw the tomb.
Makkah was busier than Madinah, not because it had more retail stores but because it housed the famed Kaaba, which all Muslims wanted to visit. There's nothing much to say other than that the Kaaba in real life is incomparably beautiful compared to the pictures on Google. I met many friendly people there who were also doing their Umrah for the first time. Besides the famed Kaaba and the experience of doing Umrah for the first time, everything else was just the same as in other countries I visited, and it was memorable. From the buildings to the people, everything looked the same as in Malaysia but were unique in their own way.
Looking back, I realize now how much that experience changed me. I've learned so much from how they lived, from how the Arabians sacrificed their dignity just to get enough money to survive in this harsh world to how people act nicely despite hardships. Now I understand when my friend stated that, for once, he felt peaceful in his life. This may be what he meant by it.

This Surah is recited to strengthen a relationship founded on love and mutual understanding. This Surah underlines the value of a believer’s respect for their spouse.

🍃🕊🍃 The Holy Month of Ramadan
Every Night Recitations
🍃 Salat 🍃
On All nights : Offer 2 units (rakaah) of prayer reciting in each unit Surah al-Fatihah once and repeating Surah al-Tawhid three times. Upon completion say the following
subhana man huwa hafizun la yaghfulu
Glory be to Him Who watches over, never leaves anything undone, or is neglectful.
subhana man huwa rahimun la ya`jalu
Glory be to Him Who is Merciful, never does a thing in haste.
subhana man huwa qa'imun la yas-hu
Glory be to Him Who is vigilant, never forgets one thing over another.
subhana man huwa da'imun la yalhu
Glory be to Him Who is alert and steady, never is engrossed with a thing so as to overlook another.
🍃 After that, it is recommended to say the al-Tasbihat al-Arba`ah 7 times:
سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ وَٱللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
subhana allahi walhamdu lillahi wa la ilaha illa allahu wallahu akbaru
All glory be to Allah, all praise be to Allah, there is no god save Allah, and Allah is the Greatest
🍃 Then, it is recommended to say the following imploration for forgiveness:
سُبْحَانَكَ سُبْحَانَكَ سُبْحَانَكَ!
subhanaka subhanaka subhanaka!
Glory be to You! Glory be to You! Glory be to You!
ya `azimu ighfir liya aldhdhanba al`azima
O All-great, forgive my grave sins.
🍃 Then, it is recommended to invoke blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household ten times:
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa `ala alihi
O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and upon his Household.
🍃 Almighty Allah will forgive seventy thousand sins of those who offer this prayer

Recite Tahajjud-Salat Layl
Recite Salat Jafar Tayyar
🍃 Each night of month also has a specific Salat
1000 Rakats One of the observances pertaining to the nights of the month of Ramadhan is to offer a thousand rakahs of supererogatory prayer during the entire month.
Eminent scholars have mentioned it in their works on law and worship.
The traditions differ concerning the manner of its performance.
According to a report of Ibn Abi Qurrah from Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (as)— a version also preferred by Shaykh Mufeed in his books, Masa’il al-Ghariyyah and al-Ishrf, 4 or rather by the generality of scholars—
20 rakahs are to be offered every night during the first 20 days of the month of Ramadan, every two of them followed by salam.
Eight of these rakahs are performed after maghrib prayer and 12 after isha prayer.
During the last 10 days, 30 rakahs are offered every night with 8 rakahs after maghrib and 22 after the isha prayer.
This makes a total of 700 rakahs.
The remaining 300 rakahs are offered on the nights of al-Qadr; that is 100 on the 19th night, 100 on the 21st, and another 100 on the 23rd, which in all make 1000 rakahs.
