I don't know why... I feel like I'm again becoming the same person I was like I was before 😞 it really is very frustrating . I know that I should be studying but I just end up using Instagram, YouTube ,Pinterest as if I don't have anything to study for😫 ...Why am I like this

So I just have decided to uninstall Instagram (uses 90% of the time) and I have decided to do a small productive challenge

My new floor desk setup

30 days of productivity

I got my standing desk converter yesterday but it works perfectly as a floor desk. I love it so far, although it doesnt have a lot of space.

(Not religious btw, the crucifix is on my wall cos it looks nice)

Yay! Day 4! Today I feel motivated to make my life better! I was able to clean a little bit of my apartment today as well as sit down and actually study for a bit.

I found an interpreter training program I want to apply to, so that's helping to motivate me as well. Look out for that application on one of my daily posts!

Today's completed tasks:

1 hour of Mandarin review

1 hour of translation practice (SPAN-ENG)

Today's practice uses the Integrated Chinese 3 book. I already learned the vocab in this section when I was taking in-person classes, so I've been looking at the pinyin transcription of the lesson dialogue and rewriting it in characters to figure out what I forgot and need to practice.

Speedpaint or Timelapse?

I've been calling my sped-up drawing videos timelapses so far because I was under the impression that people consider the term "Speedpaint/speedpainting" to be dishonest in this context, as you are not actually painting very fast, and instead speeding up the video in post production. That its frowned upon to call your video a speedpaint unless you are literally live streaming yourself painting very fast.

But recently I've been watching videos that appear to be just that -- sped-up drawing videos with music, but they have been called "speedpaints" so what's the deal here? Is it okay to call a timelapse a speedpaint or not?
