Hello there! If I may ask about your oc Sakura, how did you go about conceptualizing her? Was there any characters or media that inspired her design? How did her character change to what it is now? Apologies for this many questions, feel free to choose just one when you have time; love your work!
Hello! You may indeed ask about my baby! 🥹
So for context, Feathers and Flowers' birthing concept was about a girl summoning a demon because she was lonely but too shy to make her own friends, so she concludes summoning a demon would somehow be easier. In that iteration of the story, Sakura was meant to be a side character; a friend to the main characters that acted as the ultimate foil to basically everyone around her. She combated Kaela's crippling anxiety by being confident and overwhelmingly outgoing, contrasted Evangeline's bossy, bitchy attitude with being kind and friendly, and be the opposite of Mal's stoic, silent character with being expressive and chatty. I also needed a character that could conveniently know enough about niche media to reasonably be able to help Kaela summon her demon in the first place, so I ended up making her a huge geek: she loved anime, video games, and had knowledge on obscure things... including occult summonings xD
So I worked off that idea to form her appearance. Again her core direction was to be a foil to all of the main cast: Kaela was short and soft. Evangeline was tall and thin. Mal was tal and hard. I wanted Sakura to be the biggest character, so she originally started started out compact and wide. Her face was what I started with: I wanted her to look somewhat like an anime character, and her inspiration was based off of the older episodes of Dragonball, Pokemon, Tenchi Muyo, Ranma, Inuyasha. I basically wanted her to have Goku vibes (his wide dark eyes, his big smile, his open and easy personality) but with Inuyasha's hairstyle (she originally had long hair).
But then the story changed; it wasn't about a demon being summoned in a silly slice-of-life story but a Spirit getting lost in a magical modern era, still very much slice of life.
That ultimately shifted Sakura's design into something more athletic; football specifically. I wanted her to keep her dorky traits but pair it with the popular star athlete trope, so she became leaner, taller, and more "top heavy". She also became more oblivious; she remained sweet and friendly and outgoing, but in turn she didn't understand when someone liked her. In fact she was later canonized to be asexual originally didn't have romance planned for her character.
Fastforward to now: the story of F&F has changed again. While the core remains mostly the same (found family), it ironically shifted into something much closer to one of the earlier concepts of the story; something more serious and not slice of life, something that focuses more on the good and bad of a world instead of being predominantly lighthearted. So with that change the characters had to get a tune-up to their characterizations. Sakura received the biggest change, I think.
Her core remains true: she's relentlessly kind, expressive, a dork. But I decided to make that her biggest strength and her biggest flaw, as well as making her loving personality be conflicted by how the world views her by changing her appearance. That's how we get current Sakura: she's kind, she's loving, she wants to help others. But people think she's a threat, a ticking timebomb, because of what she is. So her once open smile is now more manufactured, a wall to protect herself, a farce to try and make herself look less like a threat. She's now a pushover; she can't establish her boundaries without it being misinterpreted as being aggressive, so her coping mechanism is to grin and bear it. She can't get visiblt upset or angry, so she has to fight for calm to have even the smallest chance of being listened to. She's "nice" because it's all she's allowed to be.
Hence her appearance change! She is now the largest character in the main roster, the physically strongest. Her smile is now "tainted" by sabre teeth she can't hide, her size contradicts her gentle nature.
It's late for me so I'm sure I forgot a few things but that's what I got for now! If you're interested I could show older concept work of Sakura to illustrate how she looked then vs how she looks now too. But ye! Thank you so much for asking about my character! 🥹🙏

*Isha’s still dead*
*Timebomb gains canon status, in an AU-style fanfic where Powder never became Jinx, but Firelight!Ekko ends up losing HIS JINX*
*Heimerdinger evaporates himself for Ekko and his little dog is nowhere to be found*
*Caitlyn and Vi make up and consummate their love, but they do it in the same dirty cell her sister was wasting away in seconds ago*
*Mel has her own storyline and is still somehow sidelined by the useless Science Bromance plot*
*Jinx and Vi finally reconcile and act like loving sisters again, only for Jinx to sacrifice herself and fall to her “death”*

I hate Act III, sorry. All the second season was too rushed and some characters that didn't deserve a happy ending got it, and those who have been suffering got the worst ending.
Acts I and II were good, but III is the worst.
In case someone hasn't seen Act III yet, ARCANE ACT III SPOILERS
No one cares but here's a list of the things I hated:
Too rushed, I think we needed another season BEFORE this one
WTF Caitvi sex scene IN JINX'S CELL, RIGHT AFTER SHE LEFT. That's so disrespectful and stupid, Vi wasn't in the right state of mind, as much as I love Caitvi, putting that scene there was a mistake
I'm sorry but I also hate Timebomb (I'm a Lightcannon shipper, which is funny because Lux doesn't even show up in Arcane, but one can dream though fanarts)
Jinx surrendering (why we didn't even get a flashback scene?) and being imprisoned like a dog. Yet the enforcers were never punished
Vi not listening to Jinx telling her MULTIPLE TIMES to get out of there, and because of her, Jinx sacrifices herself (yes, I know she's most likely alive. But that brings my next point:)
Jinx not getting a happy ending at all. She lost everyone, right when she was about to get rehabilitated, Isha dies right in front of her. And we didn't get any Sevika dialogue with her, not even trying to save Jinx (Sevika surely didn't know, but at least a scene where she looks for Isha and Jinx???)
The final scene where Vi is only seen with Caitlyn. Yes, I knew they'd end up together and they deserve it, but what about everything that happened? Losing all her family? Learning to fight just to lose everything and everyone? Ekko not talking to Vi at all after the war? Vi not mourning Jinx?
Why make Jayce and Mel be together if they were going to forget about it and act like it didn't happen? (I prefer Jayvik, but that's another story)
Jinx saving Caitlyn, but apparently that didn't matter at all. Jinx killed her mother, yes. But enforcers killed countless of people, including Jinx and Vi's parents. Even if Jinx surrendered, why put her in that isolated jail? That was Caitlyn's grief acting
Honestly I don't know why Isha had to sacrifice herself, I feel it was too unnecessary, just to traumatize Jinx even more and kill Warwick again.
I wanted to see more of Vi, of her life in prison and before their parents died (besides Vander's memories). But they put too much focus on Caitlyn and the Caitvi. As if Vi's entire character is being Cait's girlfriend
Caitlyn (and every enforcer) didn't get punish at all for their crimes. Caitlyn became a dictator because Jinx killed her mother, but countless of children saw their own parents be murdered in front of them, and now they're the bad guys for attacking back? Mind you, at least Jinx aimed her weapon to the Council, the people who oppressed them. But Piltover kills civilians like nothing, putting CHILDREN in jail. At the end, they end up like the good guys, giving Zaun a seat in the Council. When they should have fought for it, making Piltover pay for everything they've done. Which brings my next two points:
Zaun is never set free, it's still part of Piltover
Following the previous point: Caitlyn becomes a dictator, Viktor a cult god who almost destroys the world. But Jinx is so unredeemable???
Vi accepting Cait immediately, as if act I didn't happen. I understand they wanted to make Caitvi canon, but it was too rushed.
The 'good timeline' being like that because Vi died???? WTF the enforcers wanted a name, ANYONE to put the blame on, so the Council could 'make an example'. And now suddenly everything is okay? The abuse from Piltover is gone? But even if that were true, it's sad it would take Vi's death so peace could exist
Cait put Jinx, a traumatized, suicidal and schizophrenic girl in an ISOLATED CELL.
In a more relaxed note, I hate the design of Powder in the other timeline. I have to admit I absolutely love Jinx's design, with her bang and long braids but damn I expected a Powder with a single braid and a better sense of fashion xd
I understand Ambessa was behind everything, she was using Caitlyn recent grief to manipulate her. But she never apologized, her actions can't be erased, she said it herself.
Jinx giving 'her blessing' to Vi to be with Cait. Jinx has been feeling replaced by Cait since season 1 and right when we thought they could resolve this (before Act III), they do this. If anything, they confirm Cait replaced Jinx and that Jinx had every reason to feel like that
Jinx sacrificing herself (yeah, we know she isn't truly dead, but I'm talking about the symbolism) WASN'T REDEMPTION. IT WAS SUICIDE, A TRAGEDY. Just a few hours ago Jinx tried to kill herself six times, she just saw an opportunity to do it again and not making Vi fight for her, because Jinx feels she doesn't deserve Vi. It wasn't heroic, it was a suicide
Singed getting his happy ending. HIM, OF ALL PEOPLE. He created the Shimmer, made it a drug and created addicts in Zaun just so he could keep experimenting. Dude, I get it, you want your daughter back, but at that point you should've just accepted she's gone. Vander is gone, Vi and Ekko are left alone (which brings my next point), Jinx killed herself, Jayce spent days, weeks or months alone in an apocalyptic world, Zaun is still under Piltover's power...And HE gets his happy ending? No consequences? No punishment for experimenting on dead bodies/potentially having killed them, for being in Ambessa's side????
Following point 7, why Vi is only seen with Cait at the end? Ekko is truly alone now, and Vi only has the enforcer who betrayed her and never apologized for her actions with her and Zaun. I get it, they wanted to please Caitvi's shippers, but shipping is not the only thing here (which why I hated Timebomb in the alternate timeline)
I'll probably keep updating the list for a few days.

Hour two of my delusional city
Let's talk about Timebomb
* arcane act three spoilers under the cut don't read it if you haven't watched it you have been warned*
HOUR ONE HERE FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE
*Note* I am not personally a Timebomb fan. I don't really care for it, but I think there is a lot of nuance that can go with it, especially considering that it happens in an alternate universe.
As a sidenote to the whole jinx might be alive thing. I wanted to touch upon the now sort of canon ship TimeBomb. I say sort of purely because it became real in an AU.
I see a lot of people complaining about it, becoming Canon, but I think this is a good demonstration for Ekko and Jinx as characters.
Think about it this way, in the AU there is no jinx, there is only Powder. Everyone but Vi lived. This means, specifically for Jinx, she didn't have to go through some of the most traumatizing events in her life. This allowed her to fully become who she was probably meant to be. A brilliant young woman named Powder with ideas that would change the world.
In the main timeline, Ekko and Jinx are at odds there is no room for the relationship that could've developed to be there. Even after the fact, after Ekko talking to jinx and convincing her to do one final strike with the fireflight (think the name might be wrong. Please excuse it.) Jinx is still extremely traumatized and at this point, her goal is to make sure her remaining family, Vi , to be happy. in her mind that means without her.
So I think Ekko and Jinx would never work, at least not with an intense amount of therapy or self-discovery for Jinx.
But as we see in the AU, it works with powder.
Powder is what jinx could've been, had given the chance to live a normal life. She still has the same sass and charm, but instead of it being a coping mechanism, it becomes just something that naturally is a part of her personality. She is still deeply hurt by the loss of her sister, but she has the network to cope and to heal while still remembering her, which gives her the room for a romantic relationship in her life.
And as for Ekko, there is a flashback to a time where he actually killed jinx on the bridge but he rewinded time (it might've been a hallucination too, so correct me if I'm wrong)was this just reaffirm that he still cares for her and hasn't given up on her like he's so claims to. It is a show of his compassion for others and for the cause that he fights for. There is also the parallels between season one episode seven "boy Savior" which gave us the fight scene of The fireflight against Vi and jinx which gave us older Ekko, and episode seven of season two which gives us an explanation for where he's been for majority of season two.
On a sidenote, I also wanted to add that I think the talk with Ekko, made jinx realize that Isha sacrificed herself for her to live. And I like to think that maybe somewhere in her mind, she thinks that it would've done a disservice to Isha's sacrifice for her to die. (yes this is relating back to my delusional our number one theory.)

My one oneshot of all time is impossible.
There are three. Well there are more but I forced myself to stick to three. I'm terrible with choices
'Affection in all the wrong places' by LeBenj
“You need to stop showing up here,” Ekko says as he unlatches his bedroom window with a loud click.
Without looking at him, Jinx’s lips perk with a hint of a smile. “You need to stop letting me in.”
It's soft and hopeful, with an undertone of hurt, and I love it.
‘What's broken can still mend’ by MidnightLightHowlite
He hates her as much as she loves him, for nothing good ever happened to people who loved her back. But he cares, and that's different because people who hate you but also care will not forget, because they will forget a kindness but not a curse. People remember curses, remember misfortune if only to avoid it, and she's enough of a sin to be unforgivable.
…
“You’ve been surviving for so long.” He brings her knuckles to his nose and takes in the gunpowder. When his eyes meet hers they’re frozen. “But have you truly been alive?
So many gems in this fic. It hurts just right. Learning to live and complicated baggage and hope (I might have a thing for that)
And last one
‘Why’ by PenguiniShipsIt
‘That's all everyone wanted to do these days. Blow up. Beat everyone up. Hurt someone. End someone.
It got tiring to a point that he'd rather wreck himself than hear everyone around him already wrecked.
And he got what he wanted at the sight of her on his couch. Again.
"Hey." He shook her by the shoulder. "What the hell, Jinx? Is this what we're doing, now? You're just gonna stay here when it—"
She's burning.’
Caring despite all the rightful hesitations, a bit of ridiculousness, and from Ekkos's perspective, an incredulous situation makes for such a good read.
okay I have been super tired, so this took me like 3 days to write lol but we're so back baby here we go!
going one by one:
Affection in all the wrong places is very cute! I like the concept of things having eventually calmed down years later and Ekko and Jinx being able to relate to each other without the mediation of the conflict we see in the show. in some ways it also reminded me of one of my fics, with the whole "years later" thing, and I just think it's fun to see how different authors interpret similar ideas 😊
for What's broken can still mend, I think I actually read this one before I had my account?? I read a lot of CaitVi back then lol but I was just starting to get interested in timebomb. yet the summary sounds familiar...
but anyway, on to the thoughts! this is such a small thing but I love the idea that Vi comes to the Firelight base and plays with kids. I love it so much I might steal it for the end of revolution lol (with credit, naturally). and Ekko deciding not to kill her? wild lol, just wild. a little curious about why then, but hey, it felt very poetic and we can never be mad at that haha also was surprised at how it ended, but I was happy to see that Vi and Jinx made up, because who knows how canon will go 🥲
and for Why!
I feel like I've figured out your pattern lol you like fics where after the events of canon things chill out and Jinx goes to Ekko. and then implied/actual sex haha
the top author's note on this one is so fucking funny lol
I do enjoy Ekko being a bit of a dork here. the first fic I wrote with him in it has him telling bad science jokes lol. but he's also so sassy here which is how he became my favorite Arcane character in the first place, so we love to see that too.
He loved the way she swallowed. around here is when he started to get really terrible and I was so down for it lol. AND it's reciprocal! I like that playfulness coming out with them. you can feel how much they're into each other, and that along with how they're not saying everything (which I feel like is also a commonality between these 3 fics). since this is the longest of the 3 by a good bit, it really comes through, and I like in particular how Jinx is really torn up about the idea of loving him while Ekko is eventually able to convince himself to stop holding back, even though he's still afraid she'll hurt him.
She had seen what happened to people she loved and loved her back.
Not Ekko. Not chubby-cheeked, pouty-faced, sad-eyed, Ekko who hovered around her when she was sick and injured, who tended a nice little garden of friends and firelights, who zipped through the fissures like one of those masked heroes in barbershop stories.
yeahhhhhh this is good shit lol
“Are you aware of any reason she might threaten your safety?”
Yes. I edged her six times and came in her twice.
pffffffft
the end to this one is also really interesting. I would say it's my favorite of the 3. I like how the tension between Ekko and Caitlyn and Vi plays out, though I'm wary of the Firelights being legitimated by Piltover (though Ekko is, too, which is why I love him lol). it's interesting to see them inhabit this space created by all the tension in the world around them. and then, of course, Jinx comes back. more bittersweet than the first 2, but in a way I enjoyed a lot
thank you for sharing! 🥰

DAY 25: TIMEBOMB
i can't shut up about this man this whole lore is just so. aaaaaaaa
doc has to have the coolest backstory in all of fiction. like. my man first was forced to be a law clerk and rebelled against his dad, then finally became what he wanted, a scientist, only to build an atom bomb. like what the fuck, bobby g. and then, in 1955, he gets his greatest revelation and finally has something to work towards. and then he takes lsd in the 60s and becomes a hippie (which in my headcanon both is a result of the cuban missile crisis in 1962. doc does not want to be reminded that he's partly responsible for the potential destruction of the world, thank you very much). and then, in 1985, he finally realizes his dream of a time machine and hits two birds with one stone by also using plutonium for good after struggling for decades because he destroyed cities with it in 1945.
phew
but the manhattan lore has me in its grip. i can't help it its just so interesting. i wish we had more canon stuff on that, i would eat it up. like. doc has the purest heart in the world. what did this do to him.
i am hugging 40s doc as tightly as possible rn
#back to the future#bttf#doc brown#bttf moodboards#mcflyjuly#excuse my ramblings ahaha#i just#i cant stop thinking about it#bob gale please give me a comic or something in which doc has to inevitably tell marty. this would be a cool concept dont you think#but aaaouughh the guilt#the shame#the fear of himself#its all fanon but it fucking GETS me#i can yell about him all the time#bttf has to be the greatest franchise ever#it intertwines actual real life history with fiction in a way that totally makes sense#movie doc is TERRIFIED of destroying the universe#well guess why. because it almost fucking happened before and it was also HIS FAULT#STOOOP AAAOUGHH (sobs on floor)

I've rebbogged some posts that express most of my thoughts already already but I thought I'll summarise it in a post myself.
Act 3 is dogwater actually imo. It's not the worst thing I've watched but for a show with such a strong season one and the 1st act of season 2 being really compelling, I am extremely disappointed. The only watchable/bearable episode to me was episode 7 and even that has it's own issues by itself.
Here are the things I didn't like:
Jinx deserved better. Jinx really did. I do not care about the theories whether or not Jinx is alive. You do not end a suicidal girl arc with a cheap sacrifice and vaguely hint at her being alive. Priorities people. (Imo it felt like they killed Jinx off to satisfy the criteria of one sister must be dead for the other to be happy as established in ep7)
If you thought Caitvi was rushed in act 2, it's WORSE here. There's no intimate charecter moments or apologies for how they treated each other. The most we get is a lesbian sex scene and while that was so cool I even had friends pointed it out on my discord status, people have already mentioned it before how forced it felt especially when Jinx just ran off to off herself. Sex is not the most important thing right now. Cait and Vi do somewhat care about Jinx too as evident by the previous dialogue.
Jayce and Vik have felt off charecter, I know that's the point but in this arc it's just especially bad. We don't even get Vik's League form as payoff for what they were trying to set up. (I'm a MelJayceVik shipper for context)
While ep7 is the favourite of mine and I enjoyed seeing Timebomb canon, the switch between Ekko and Hemi living their best lives and Jayce fighting for his life was also absolutely comedy gold, I just. Do not. See that alternate universe happening man. The Undercity DOES NOT gain independence through Vi's death, and it's cheap and gross and fake and honestly horrible even in fact that it does. The reason why Piltover and Zaun are so separated and horrible with each other is the prejudice, and it's even shown in the first few episodes that Vander and Grace were maintaining a very thin line of peace and once that broke, chaos wrecked havoc. Vi dying or not doesn't change that. Nothing is magically fixed because the other sister is dead. It took them YEARS to give Zaun independence for goodness sake, right before Jinx's blastered the entire council. Jayce arc made sense at least.
I do not understand why Viktor would just agree to work with Ambessa, their personalities are complete opposites. Vik chases for peace and freedom, Ambessa wants war every waking moment.
What's with the amount of killed champions man?? I did see a theory that they would be willing to kill off one but it was like. Almost every major playable charecter? And for what? Emotional value? Lazy writing? Ambessa literally just became a playable champion too to advertise season 2 and she DIES???
Honestly the only thing I liked about act 3 was Mel's arc, and the ending of Jayvik was sweet. CaitVi was nice, but it felt so unearned and undeserved. As Cait herself said, you can't erase the actions you've done.
The songs are still bangers at least.
I do not blame the people working on it, it's clear they were heavily rushed to try and pull off every story beat, it's just underwhelming that something with such a good season 1 with a 250 million budget ended up like this. They could've done so much better if season 2 was slightly longer, 15 instead of 10 episodes for example.

Hopes and Fears for Arcane Season 2
So we're getting teasers for the best show adapted from a MOBA that you can watch on Netflix getting its second season and a release date of November 24. Just today we got a little teaser clip so here's my hopes and dreams and fears for Arcane Season 2.
HOPES
Vander being Warwick. Caitlyn and Vi relationship A logical progression for how Vi turns from where she was at the start of Arcane into how she is in League in a way that's missing from her compared to most of the other characters. You can watch Arcane and imagine how Jinx in Arcane changes into Jinx in League of Legends, or how Caitlyn does or Viktor does - you might have to make some inference and assumptions, but the arc is trackable in way that is just … not with Vi. How does someone hurt by Piltover's systems so much became a person who works for those systems? Someone who fights because she has to into someone who revels in violence and power? From a loving sister whose every motivation is reuniting with her sister to an Enforcer who just beats people up? The flashback they've mentioned in interviews of Ekko trying to rescue Powder from Silco because that seems like a formative experience for how their relationship is in the modern day. My girls Renata Glasc and Seraphine, even if it justs cameos. OPTIONAL: Vi and Jinx teaming up to fight or subdue Warwick and this allowing them to heal their trauma by proxy (but propbably too optimistic for this series). Exploration of Vi and Caitlyn's relationship. Ideally with kissing and or even sex. Just something that makes it unambigously clear they are gay in a way that bigots can't point to and say "It's ambigious!!!!" More story with Sevika. I saw a theory floated online that Sevika was concieved of as way to give Vi a big fight at the end without her fighting Jinx because the writers decided their relationship wasn't quite at the point where she and Jinx would have this all-out, dragout, knock-down brawl, and I'd be really sad if they spent as much time allowing Sevika to exist and to serve as a rival to Vi only for them to dump her in a closet or kill her off cheaply as the story zeros in on how Vi and Jinx become mortal enemies. Jinx hallucinating Silco the way she does Mylo and Claggor.
FEARS
Timebomb or Ekko becoming Jinx's boyfriend, and espcially not any sort of arc where Ekko's love redeems or reforms Jinx in any way Orianna being Singed's daughter. At first I liked this idea by after a blog-post by Orianna super-fan (here) I'm off it. Jinx getting a boyfriend at all, really. Her story has enough drama without a shoe-horned romance plot! Caitlyn and Vi being queer-baited and doing lots of yearning looks that look good in an AMV but not actually progressing their relationship in any meaningful way. Vi getting amnesia. In at least some versions of League story (and League of Legends has a … let's say loose relationship with things like canon and continuity), Vi's League story involves her losing her memories before mysteriously re-appearing as a Piltover Enforcer. This is an example of a broader trend of League of Legends' approach to storytelling that makes a lot of things ambigious or mysterious (cough, so they can make it up later or change their minds). But Vi losing her memories in Arcane would be such a lazy cheap way to effectively give her an identity death in order to force her to fit into the contour of League Vi without doing any of the character building or dramatic work to explore or explain how someone goes from poor orphan to collared criminal to an Enforcer and I just really hope they don't do it! Skye taunting Viktor in the form of hallucinations that egg him on towards his eventually fall and turn to robotic villainy. Not that it wouldn't be in-keeping with the series as it stands (both Vi and Jinx see people who aren't there), but Skye being oblierated was such an obvious fridging-manpain moment that I don't want to be reminded about it, and I've never really watched the reboot of Battlestar Galactica until it was doing re-runs on streaming but there's a character in there whose whole thing is being a hot sexy succubus projected into someone's mind (and remember that's a sci-fi story) and it was so stupid and tropey that I just don't want to see anything similiar. This may not be Arcane's fault but man. I don't want them to go there! Likewise on the note of Sevika, I don't want to see her just unceremoniously killed off in the first three episodes just to make room for the Jinx/Vi rivalry. Some sort of redemption for Jinx that involves her dying or sacrificing herself. It's 2023! 2024 when this comes out! Support women's wrongs! If you ARE going to let her have a redemption, don't take the coward's way out!
AMBIVALENT Viktor completing his transformation from sickly man seeking cure for his ilnness to a robotic terrorist who thinks everybody should become a robot. Shimmer being linked to the Void. This is a theory I've see floated around due to some visuals in the scene where Viktor introduces Shimmer to the Hexcore. I don't really care if this pans out or not. Some people might want to Whether Cassandra dies. It'd be strange for her to die but Jayce and Viktor to survive (and you know those two will because they are Named Characters) but for Cassandra to die in the same room. It'd provive angst and tension between Caitlyn, Jinx and Vi, sure, but Caitlyn already has reason enough to want to arrest Jinx even if her own mother doesn't die directly from the missile. Whether Camille shows up. Given the focus on conflict between Piltover and Zaun, it's a logical step to have the walking embodiment of Piltover's oppression show up, but I don't feel like she needs to be present.

first place goes to g2 megatron and kiloton as the first canonically homosexual relationship, with the quote “a friendship forged in fire; they became more than close”. maybe confirmed Word of God, but if other people can do it than i want to too.
second place would go to starscream and the underbase (multiple men in one), however this is an instance of heterosexual love because of the inclusion of starscream. they're not even the first straight relationship. this is because she does not deserve good things.
second place goes to... chromedome! and his boyfriend jack. sorry about having to shoot your own friend because the bad guys captured him and made him a living timebomb, chromedome. let's hope this gets better in the future.

DEAN/BELA CAN I GET A HELL YEAH
HELLLLL YEAH!!!!
They are so !!! They USED to be my otp for a couple years. Until I became deranged about Dean and Jo exclusively lmao. BUT I still love Dean and Bela and think they had so much potential, although I no longer think they could work endgame in canon. Getaway Car always makes me think of them. They're like a timebomb (all time low, anyone?) they're doomed to explode from the start. AND the wasted potential drama of Bela coming back as a demon? Hello??? Literally everyone thought of that except the writers I guess 🙄 typical

“OMG what if Xehanort and Eraqus are related after Nomura literally said they weren’t?”
Meanwhile the possibility of Luxu being Eraqus’ missing grandfather being 1000% more likely than surprise cousins removed 3x is being ignored here. Like why did I log on seeing people genuinely worried that Xehanort and Eraqus were going to be cousins twice removed? PLEASE. More explanation below the cut.
Like I understand the Post Traumatic LukexLeia disorder here... but two characters of diff races... that Nomura literally verbally said don’t share parents... being related... is such a weird take to me. Like I’m confused on what answer you wanted from him. The question was were they siblings and he said “they don’t share parents” which doesn’t rule out cousins, sure. But genuinely think of the options here. What Chekov’s gun is going off over cousin twists? Name one story where cousins being your cousin actually mattered.
I get that some shippers are afraid, but genuinely, there’s only 2 possible blueblood families. If they make them into one via Brain having a weird relationship with his two friends’ great x7 grandchild... we’re down to a single blueblood tree. And we would then have infinite questions to ask Nomura as to why he made Brain or Luxu have relations with the great descendants of his friends/people he knows. Time travel crib robbing is still crib robbing and I’m sure Disney would want to stay miles away from canonizing that.
Also this makes it infinitely impossible to make several characters royalty in Scala without making em related. Say goodbye to all the theories of Sora, Riku, Kairi, etc being Scala Royals... because that would make them related as well. Like that’s a ticking timebomb of oops all incest :tm: that nobody would want to touch.
Here’s a short list of things that are more likely:
#1- Luxu is Eraqus’ grandfather and went missing because he became Bragi #2 - SRK are bluebloods #3- Axel and Kairi are related via bloodlines (phenotype redhead nonsense) #4- Demyx is in ML / Luxord is in ML #5- Not a single female character outside of Xehanort’s mom will be important... if she is even important or named... :(
Shark jumping here would have to be insane to make the plottwist in ML being that they’re 2nd cousins.
“Whoa we’re Cousins despite not looking similar and half the characters being time travelers???” is the funniest idea for a plotline ever because name ONE story that has ever done that. And two... like this seems like an episode of Shameless not a twist in Kingdom Hearts. Worlds most uninteresting tidbit of information. Like if this is canon then Ron Desantis has won, because that is such a specific twist that it had to be targeted.

Lightcannon is the ship I never see becoming canon but I love anyway. It makes for a fun chaotic AU.
Anyways, it amuses me that Lightcannon has more fics then Timebomb on AO3. I imagine that eventually (probably after S2) timebomb becomes the more popular one. But the fact that the most popular Jinx ship is pretty impossible in canon will never not be funny to me.
I would mad cackle though if somehow Lightcannon became the canon ship for Lux and Jinx.
Lightcannon in Arcane
So, I do like this couple for all that in the core timeline the characters have never met and I would love to see this become canon. But it can't just instantly happen.
There's going to need to be a situation where they get to know each other beyond the outer appearances.
Lux very much will come off as one of the rich types that have oppressed Jinx's people forever. Because in many ways, she is.
Jinx will come across as one of the hyper violent sorts that have threatened Lux from several directions. Because in a lot of ways she is.
So, they'll need a way to meet that avoids them instantly seeing each other as enemies.
They'll need to come to care about each other and come to terms with that.
This will have to come along with starting to see the down sides of each other.
One of them is likely going to have to relocate away from their homeland and they are both very attached to their homelands, which are on the opposite sides of the world or continent from what I know.
The Zaun / Piltover storyline will need to come to a conclusion first.
Likely we'll need a second story arc focused entirely on Demacia establishing Lux before they're introduced to each other.
A quality, Lightcannon canon in the Arcane series is likely a project of multiple seasons.
Still, would be awesome.

Vander and Silco things that I would love to happen in season 2 and that will never happen, but I feel like talking about it anyway.
I did something comparable with timebomb, so I figured I would do one for Warwick & Silco as well.
I have some hope
Some additional context to "the betrayal" (though the flashback might not be Vander's)
No implied romances in the flashbacks (ie no Vander x Grayson, no Vander x Camille, no Vander or Silco with Sevika)
We see "the knife" again and maybe even get some backstory on it
No chance in hell, but wow would it make me happy
Young!Silco's manbun becomes canon
Any flashback with any suggestion of flirting
Somebody builds a Silco statue and stands it either next to face or to face with the Vander statue
Any pre-betrayal or even how they first met flashbacks (I feel it's unlikely because gratuitous, if there are flashbacks with young Silco my guess it is gonna be about the battle on the bridge)
Any hints that Silco did interact with Warwick when he was still alive, whether it was during the timeskip (ie Warwick stalking him but not revealing himself) or Silco running right past him in Singed's lab
Vander remembers Silco, either the betrayal or the night of his "death".
Any hints of ghost or vision Silco in people other than Jinx.
Fishbone!Silco talking to Jinx about Vander and it's not just "don't you dare to talk to him, I hate him".
Vander's betrayal of Silco and how he feels about it and why he did it and how it does or does not mirror Vi and Jinx is a core part of Warwick's season 2 storyline.
Again, I don't think that they would ever do it, but I do feel imo if they wanted giving Warwick a past with a boyfriend (whether it's Benzo or Silco) would be a lot easier for them to get away with. Yes, JayVik are popular, but the point is, they are champions that people play and have invested years and years into playing. I think if you ruin people's perception of something they have poured thousands of hours and a ton of skin money into it could ruffle some feathers.
But Warwick, I think people could be a lot more indifferent if the implication was "yeah, so maybe he was gay before he became Warwick", it would be more easy to ignore (the way it is with Varus), especially if Arcane doesn't go into much detail.

Some Arcane fanfic prompts for consideration. Things I don't have time to write.
Modern AU Family Reunion- Vi went to prison for several years after taking the fall for the explosion that killed her foster father and two brothers. Her sister disappeared that night. She got out and started getting her life together, working at a gym, getting a hot cop gf, but still no sign of Powder no matter how hard she looked. One day she's taking lunch to her overworked gf who just made a big break on a crime syndicate case and there is her little sister being dragged in as a suspect under a name she doesn't recognize. Thing is, her sister is 17 so as a minor she is turned over to the care of her only living relative once Vi identifies her. Bonus points for alive and well Sheriff Grayson pulling some strings for Cait and Vi.
Modern AU Lightcannon- Lux is engaged to her high school sweetheart Ezriel. Both being bisexual they decide before they tie the knot to go to a strip club together and buy each other lap dances so they can get just a taste of gay before committing to each other. Lux is then enamored with her stripper Jinx, who decides to break all the rules and let Lux touch and do whatever she likes because its her last chance to and she has no experience with women. Lux can't get the night out of her mind and then she spots a certain familiar blue haired bombshell at her college campus.
Canon Divergence Pregnancy AU Timebomb- Jinx and Ekko have had secret trysts since they became sexually active. A way to connect with each other even when in the outside world they are enemies. After Arcane S 1 Jinx dissappears for a year or more. Vi and Ekko finally track her down but she's struggling with a little baby she's been trying to raise even though she is wholly unqualified and isn't doing the best on her own.
