Does there already have to be moisture in the air for Razz to be able to create rain and storms? For example, would his powers work if the crew had to travel through a dry, desert climate like the Straw Hats did during the Alabasta arc?

I noticed Razz has a monocle in one of the earlier pieces of art. Does the fashionable skelly actually have vision problems or does he have it purely for the ✨aesthetic✨?

Does Dr. MC have experience with dentistry too, or does Cinnamon have to seek help elsewhere if there is an issue with his braces?

1. Razz does not need moisture in the air ahead of time! But it def will make summoning storm/rain much easier. Traveling through dry places and summoning will be significantly harder than summoning in the middle of the ocean, most definitely. However, his pride is big as hell, so he'll never show that it hinders him, lol.

2. He uses it to read sometimes but not day to day life (so I guess he doesn'thave a major vision problem)! Just for smaller letters and such... he did choose a monocle instead of a pair of glasses, though. He finds em tacky on him and refuses to yield.

3. All doctors need a lil experience w/ teef, it's part of one's health after all! But def Y/N is not qualified to fix up some braces for Cinnamon. He has that done by an orthodontist much before he meets them! However, they can help with things like pain, minor adjustments, and such to help the journey go a bit smoother.

One piece as Trigun or Trigun characters in one piece? Cause i have had thoughts about that second one. I mean look at Wolfwood’s name he’d fit right in! Nicholas D Wolfwood

Anon you have brought up an excellent point, I was thinking trigun as one piece characters but one piece characters in trigun would be good as well. Tbh it’s a little hard to remove any of them from their stories without them ending up kinda out of character because putting the straw hats in trigun leaves pretty much all of them without any actual goal (ie. things that are impossible on a desert planet: pirate king, find the all blue, map the entire world(kinda? It just wouldn’t have bodies of water), build a ship that could travel the whole world) brook is a whole other can of worms so id probably do smth fucked up and say his cryo pod didn’t open after the crash so he was in cryostasis for most of the time humans had been on no man’s land and Laboon is like his little brother or smth and he was on a different ship so now he’s looking for him.

The events of trigun are so integral to what makes Wolfwood and Vash who they are that I really cannot fathom an AU where they’re just, born in the one piece world?? Don’t get me wrong, bad stuff happens in the op world but you don’t the kind of fucked up that Vash is, I could see maybe Wolfwood and Livio being some kinda fucked up vegapunk experiments but idk. So yeah in my AU they get fuckin space-time portaled to the op world at some undefined point in time (still don’t know which continuity I want to use or if I just wanna make my own up and put the source material into a melting pot)

WW’s name is such a good point to bring up because I’ve thought about that!! I can just imagine him not knowing wtf is going on with everyone assuming he’s a D and he’s just like wtf does that even mean??? Also WW just being an above average human in op. Like ,,, zoro benches the weight of WW’s punisher as like an appetizer to his workout. They’re in a constant state of awe for like the first two months.

Ppl thinking vash has a devil fruit but nobody has any fucking clue as to what (because it isn’t a DF lol). Vash starts sprouting feathers and nobody bats an eye like “we just picked up our doctor a week ago and he’s a reindeer, you were there for that Vash, you see him every day.” They both point out the obvious so much like “that man just ate himself👈 🤨”. “did he just turn into a mole?” “Vash I don’t know what a mole is” LIKE THEYRE SO FUNNY WITH IT. WW not having a fucking clue what half the living things on the planet are but Vash has also technically never seen most of the normal stuff they run into. Vash “lived on a spaceship the first year of his life and has lived the last 150 years on a desert planet” the Stampede and Nickolas “Has never left the ground of no man’s land” D. Wolfwood.

I really really want them to get there sometime after the straw hats leave whiskey peak because then they get some experience on easy mode as well as 1. Balls to the walls prehistoric island, “Is that a fucking dinosaur” “IS THAT A FUCKING GIANT!?!” 2. The first time they experience snow and goddamn is that cold also “did that just talk” “Vash what the hell is that” “I don’t know I think it’s some kinda mammal though?” And 3. Back to the desert baybee (aka. Vash and WW carry them through Alabasta completely unphased by the heat)

- While Ace was traveling with the crew to Alabasta him and Sanji just sort of Clicked, spending ridiculous amounts of their free time chatting together for people who just met. Since both their sleeping patterns are unusual, it wasn’t uncommon to find them in the kitchen at the crack of dawn giggling over tea, Ace insisting on helping prep breakfast

- Ace is 100% Sanjis first crush on a dude so he had some processing to go through that’s a different wormcan

- Sanji was nervous but Absolutely got his number before Ace had to leave, and hogs the phone c o n s t a n t l y

- Lucky for him Ace calls, while inconsistently, for hours whenever he manages to get the time. They love to swap stories about the dumb things they’ve gotten themselves into

- Ace sends a BUNCH of ingredients and little trinkets whenever the crew actually knows where they’re going. While he finds little things for all of them, Ace specifically looks for the weirdest sounding teas and ingredients he can grab for Sanji to try. Whenever the packages get in and they manage to line up the time, the crew will call up Ace to catch up and do little unwrapping parties—

- But once they’ve settled down and the kitchen gets quiet, Sanji takes the time to puzzle the ingredients together while they idly chat, and steep the tea. Ace keeps some of the blends for himself after the joke that if Sanji was going to willingly eat whatever poison Ace picked up off the streets of god knows where, Ace had to at least be decent enough to go down with him

- They drink together, Ace cackling at some of Sanji’s over the top criticisms while he gets onto Sanji for being unwilling to try the ones distilled from peppers— just enjoying their connection across thousands of miles

- Usopp and Nami are the worst teases about Sanjis not so secret crush, regularly bullying him about staring wistfully into the sunset every now and then. Nami particularly loves to hear him go on romantic tangents because 1) it gets him off her back 2) she thinks it’s genuinely adorable 3) has Lowkey been in touch with Ace too so could use it as blackmail at any moment

- (Luffy meanwhile did not pick up on it until Zoro made a jab about it)

- Meanwhile some of the Whitebeard crew (esp Whitebeard himself) are half convinced Ace and Sanji are already engaged the way Ace tends to croon on about him

- Sanji actually asked Ace out before the other got the chance, on accident too, because Sanji ends most his calls with “Love you” by habit

- You wouldn’t think it off the bat but Ace is highkey Lowkey the more romantic of the two simply because he’s unabashed about his feelings + recognized them for what they are much faster

- Ace is very much accustomed to casual touch and being handsy as a form of love— they had to work out boundaries quickly. Sanji just isn’t used to nonviolent physical contact from other guys. Though being around Luffy and Usopp has helped him relax a bit, Ace is a whooooole other level of PDA

-Since Ace has sooooome (just a feeeew) self worth + rejection issues, he took Sanji getting tense and unresponsive to his more forward flirting harder than intended n was moody for a bit. But they worked it out after some difficult conversations. Ace wants him to be comfortable as much as he wants to show his affection and Sanji more than makes up for his awkwardness in public by being a total cuddlebug when they’re alone

- Now /later/. Whoo boy later. When Sanji is confident in himself and Ace is secure in the fact that Sanji loves him and isn’t lying. They are. The MOST OBNOXIOUS couple

- Always have to be touching somehow, Sanji is really fond of sneaking a hand into Ace’s back pockets while Ace is all but draped over his shoulders, Ace using him as a chin rest frequently while they argue over little things

- U would not believe they’d only been dating for a few months they fit together so easily

- Ace is really fond of nicknames and calls Sanji all the classics like babe/darling/hon— but some of his faves are snickerdoodle, lemon / tart, and sugarsnap

- (He defiantly greets Sanji with a regular “Howdy stranger” thank you @cowboyzoro)

- Sanji is the opposite— when he’s being sassy or teasing he likes to use a sharp ‘Portgas’, but he manages to fit so much love and affection into such a short name that Ace is overwhelmed every time he says his name untethered

(Sanji: yeah I was chatting with ♥️♥️♥️♥️Ace♥️♥️♥️♥️ and—

Usopp: how the fuck did you do that with your mouth)

- He did spend a week or two trying to come up w something cutesy but realized that he likes Ace’s name just how it is

- (Tho Ace also really likes when he gets affectionally insulting + is impressed by his creative curses)

- Ace got Sanji the gentlecook shirt— he also likes to snatch it back time to time because Sanji gets occasionally grumpy that Ace owns no hoodies for him to steal. The shoulders have become very stretched out

- Whenever Sanji gets cramps Ace is his living hot water bottle—

- Ace frequently compares him to a cat because he runs cold and is constantly trying to steal Aces warmth either way

- They like. Planning impossible missions together just as thought exercises. Ace has drawn up actual maps and plans of attack for some of the biggest banks in the 4 seas just cause he and Sanji were bored

I have. So many AUs with them too. Including but not limited to:

- Modern College AU of course, where they’re long distance flirting. Both can’t decide if it’s too early to travel a few thousand miles to make out (and other hard choices)

- TattooArtist!Ace where Usopp *really* wants a piece done by a popular artist outside of town, but is too chicken for the needles. Sanji agreed to go with him as morale, planning on getting something small and stupid just so Usopp will feel better, but somehow ends up planning a whole sleeve just so he can keep visiting the cute artist

- A timeline in which Sanji could not escape his fate as a Vinsmoke and became an assassin— only he finds himself unable to carry out his mission when he meets the infamous pirate prince

- CANT say no to a good ol camp councilor AU— this ones mostly for ensemble shenanigans and Nami being mischievous

overcoming an era: this has GOT to be the first one on any list. it starts with sabo and ace running into each other during the alabasta arc, and continues with the canon divergence from there. currently at 33/37 chapters and actively updating once a week

you are my sunshine: pre-canon oneshot, wherein luffy is an affectionate kid and ace copes with the idea of being loved. gave me all kinds of soft feelings, absolutely recommend

twin flames: complete fix-it where ace and sabo called themselves twins as children, leading to a hilarious (and ultimately life-saving) misunderstanding when an impel down guard overhears that but misses the part where they're not blood related

you'll be fine, i'll be fine: oneshot where luffy gets a back tattoo commemorating both his brothers during the timeskip. his crew have a lot of emotions about it (as does sabo)

put your faith in what you most believe in: oneshot, the straw hats call sabo when luffy gets sick, and the brothers have a conversation about freedom and priorities (weeping wailing sobbing btw. thumbsup)

together is much better: modern au oneshot, wherein ace and sabo readjust after two years apart while luffy wreaks havoc in the background (they are both unbearably fond of their menace)

you still have me: ageswap oneshot where luffy is the big brother. marinesford still happens, but this time the post-wano strawhat crew is ready to save their captain's little brother, and maybe also get it through his thick head that he deserves to be loved along the way

thoughts of you and me: oneshot, asl end up with a telepathic bond for a week, and ace is forced to face the fact that his brothers love him

thunder like cannonfire, lightning like being alive: oneshot, asl hanging out and being adorable kids during a summer thunderstorm

laugh about today: oneshot, just tiny asl hanging out and being fucking adorable

home is what you've missed: time travel oneshot, or: if ace had a nickel for every time one of his brothers woke him up by clinging to him and crying only to never explain or mention it again, he'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but what the fuck guys

dearest brother (who you are): 1/6 chapters (last updated 2021 but reads as a complete oneshot). sabo runs into ace, gets punched, gets his memories back, and they run wild through alabasta together- in that order

take a step in mine: oneshot, luffy collapses a little sooner at marinesford and ace prioritizes getting his brother to safety enough that he manages to also get himself safe along the way

there is thunder in our hearts complete, fix-it. ace and luffy both make it out of marinesford, and sabo finds them in the aftermath after recovering his memories

take me to sea (where i belong): first in a series. fifteen year-old sabo's first infiltration mission has him joining whitebeard's crew. he eventually finds a family there, which makes things interesting a few years down the line when a certain sibling also joins up

done in by the flame: reunion oneshot. ace is dead as far as the world (and therefore sabo) know, so sabo takes it rather poorly when he hears about someone using the flame fruit on their way to dressrosa

to know you again: oneshot. ace survives marinesford. sabo seeks him out in the aftermath, but there's not really any easy way to say "hey, sorry your captain slash dad is dead and also that you thought i was dead for ten years because i had amnesia, but i'm here to visit and check up on you now that i have my memories back"

predecessor dream: oneshot. when someone eats a devil fruit, they have a dream where they meet with the previous holder so that knowledge can be passed on. somehow, sabo doesn't really realize what that means for him and ace's fruit until it's happening

second star to the right (and straight on 'till morning): oneshot. luffy is turning twenty-one, older than ace ever got to be. he and usopp talk about it

it burns a hole through everyone: oneshot. luffy and sabo talk about ace, guilt, and love. this one in particular fucked me up so bad emotionally, i fucking love it

hey, get off my boat!: oneshot. an amnesiac sabo is returned to his parents instead of rescued by dragon. at seventeen, he escapes to steal a boat and leave for good- only to find a strangely familiar teen trying to steal the same boat

folding paper: oneshot. luffy is Something Else and lays claim to his favorite people, but his brothers don't mind. it's just nice to be cared about, regardless of what exactly their new little brother is

accidental (accidentally forgotten) younger brother acquisition: 13 chapters, currently on pause. while on a mission sabo runs into a nice kid who needs some help finding his older brother ace. seems easy enough.... except for the part where they're both now calling him their brother and getting weirdly emotional???

for freedom: oneshot. the announcement of fire fist ace's impending execution is enough to trigger sabo's memories, and he sets out with dragon to marinesford

deja vu: oneshot. the announcement of fire fist ace's impending execution is enough to trigger sabo's memories, and he sets out with koala to marinesford

OTHER

a different father: oneshot. buggy the clown finds out that his captain's son is about to be executed, and decides to help the only way he knows how- bullshitting his way into turning a bad situation into a very strange one

a tall tree, with roots like a newborn: oneshot. the aftermath of whole cake island, and healing sanji's wounds- both physical and mental

your love is sunlight: oneshot. luffy loves his crew with all his heart, and after a stranger makes a weird comment he decides to make sure his crew knows just how awesome they are and how much he appreciates them

you know what they say: oneshot + short sequel. the marines have a pr officer in charge of covering up their misdeeds. unfortunately for them, she was isekai'd in years ago and has been biding her time until marinesford to burn the whole organization to the ground- and if she saves & reunites a certain trio of brothers in the process, so much the better

the victory march: oneshot. sanji immediately post whole cake island, coping with the new understanding of deeply and fiercely his crew loves him

sukat sh'lomecha: oneshot. a very sweet usopp fic, wherein usopp tries to figure out what haki is, and sanji just wants to make sure his friends are okay and help them when they aren't

in which higuma doesn't get to get drunk, even though he really, really wants to: oneshot. in the scene where bandits harass the bar and shanks teaches luffy about not first resorting to violence, things go a little differently (read: off the fucking rails) when an older luffy is sent back in time to his younger self's body. spoilers are given, shanks pouts about being ignored by a six(?) year-old, and the bandits are having a rough day and would really like some fucking alcohol, please

sight, taste: oneshot. in the aftermath of the whole cake island arc, charlotte pudding and charlotte katakuri find unexpected solace in each other. it's technically not found family because they are blood related, but the charlotte family is so fucked up it might as well be

kiss me, son of god: first in a series of oneshots based on the live action. luffy, nami, zoro, and sanji are all vaguely qpr and kiss about it. the vibes are nebulous and soft and incredibly tender, possibly the very best kissing the homies fic i've ever read. they're all platonically in love with each other and tbh good for them

dressed up, dressed down: oneshot based on the live action. sanji and zoro get weirdly homoerotic about wound care, and more specifically about not overexerting yourself and reopening a still healing, nearly fatal wound from fighting fucking mihawk, zoro

anyway did you know Sabo is hard to write?? theres so little canon material of Sabo as an adult that I'm just running with what I have. Also Ace is hard to write. he really wants to attack people but like. no. stop that. reunite with your brother

this kind of nonsense is why i usually only write about 7 characters max at a time. because they are SO HARD TO KEEP TRACK OF. thanks to time travel here is the group I've got:

ALABASTA SQUAD: Ace, Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, Chopper, Vivi

DRESSROSA SQUAD: Sabo, Luffy (unconscious), Zoro, Usopp, Robin, Franky, Law

thats FIFTEEN PEOPLE. I'm like 2000 words in and theyre just now introducing themselves. and I've run into the next problem in this fic: if the group sticks together to go through the desert, then they do not have enough food. they didn't even have enough food the first time around with just eight of them. this is ridiculous. discord gang suggested sending a group after Past-Sabo and i think I will have to just to get rid of some characters
