( who was far from the unexpected horror of discovering her first child at already 24 weeks pregnant)

After a lot of effort, medication and a risky removal of Natasha’s immune system that eventually led to his conception, was born via c section.

They should have taken that as foreshadowing, for the whole of his life there was never a chance of getting Stefan Barnes to budge if he was comfy.

But - stay with me - Natasha actually loves her c section scar because of the three scars James has been behind, this is one he (technically*) gave her that was a good thing.

Bucky no longer getting to beat himself up over the scars he gave Natasha because one of them led to their son.

That is all, please accept my head canoned cuteness, I hope others find joy in it too.

* star added just in case - it can be said he caused the scar because he is Stefan’s Dad, so he caused the baby that decided he didn’t want to be born.

Aggie swung her skinny legs through the spindles of the landing, looking down into the party. She'd gotten one too many weird glances from people and one too many thinly veiled insults, so she opted to stay out of everyone's way. She would have left, but her Ma wasn't going to come back for her until their agreed upon rendezvous time. She'd have to wait it out.

She sighs, resting her forehead on the spindles. Even after making a few friends, she's still finding it impossible to just exist among other kids. At least the boys' Great Aunt was nice to her and had given her permission to duck into the shack if she needed a break, but she didn't want a break. She wanted to be down there, with the other kids, being normal. But one mean look and one insult had her sitting all alone. Just another freak, by herself, as usual.

She'd seen Sixer come by a few times- like, a lot of times, actually. Odd, considering he was supposed to be running the ticket stand. She'd seen Stanley earlier, and he'd seen her- but he'd been in the middle of talking to someone so all that passed between them was a wave.

She holds the spindles like they're jail cell bars, feeling like the bits of wood really are separating her from the rest of the world. It looked fun, dancing and running around... Her face scrunches up involuntarily as she feels tears sting at her eyes. She rubs at them roughly, trying to focus on whatever is going on by the DJ booth. Looks like people are doing karaoke.

it's in a metaphorical sense, but the theme pervades in every iteration of her across verses—a force of good that's too good it doesn't belong in the pews but elevated upon with reverence!! so loved and adored that she can only ever be a treasure to be given up, never kept. from the moment of her birth was there already purpose to fulfill, and one she's always taken pride in: to love without measure, to bestow her heart that was never hers to keep

reminds me of this one healer character from the miss peregrine series. read it a long time ago, and the eerieness of it, the pictures went so hard. i recall there having been a woman shrouded in a veil whose peculiarity was that she could sacrifice parts of her (usually fingers) and the dust (?) produced by disintegrating those limbs could heal injuries
