Tim Stoker (The Magnus Archives) Tim Wright (Marble Hornets) and Tim (Bigtop Burger) are the exact same character to me
this is just what he got up to in those alternate universes

Some HCs about Tim cuz he’s so deceptively simple and i luv him:
-grew up in a struggling home and was working since he legally could as a young teenager
-dropped out of high school to work a second job and help at home
-moved out as soon as he physically could to be “one less mouth to feed” to his family
-has been homeless. Has lived in tent communities and found a second family in them
-managed to get himself off the ground by getting an low-rent place with people he made friends with in those communities
-managed to get to a point where he can survive on only one job
-immediately helped Steve when he first saw him because of his experiences and being able to empathize instantly
-after living through this, he doesnt have that fear of “strange people” a lot of ppl have, and instead gravitates towards it.
-he gets frustrated by Steve’s antics bc of his work ethic, but openly loves Steve’s absurdity and whimsy. (Aka, his fond tone when he says “Weird vibes on this guy, I’m telling ya” at the end of GREASEPAINT)
-since he can finally slow down, now that he has some stability, he really enjoys the mundane. He’s the type to pause at any random point to enjoy the moment; the type to stop and smell the flowers. He’s mesmerized by small and common joys, but doesn’t linger or wax poetic, just experiences the present
-he doesnt really dream big; doesnt have huge goals for his life. He’s very happy with his humble job, working alongside people he loves

Losing my mind over the post credit scene in the Bigtop Burger season 2 video. Now we know Steve crawled out of the ground fairly recently (probably in the last decade or two) and hasn't been wandering around for that long. And Tim was the first person to see and help him </3! His first friend post banishment! (Maybe he had crawled out before but I think it's more likely this was the first time Steve had been on the surface)

(this is Bigtop Burger related btw-)
OKAY
SO I JUST FOUND OUT THAT TIM BATT (the guy who voice acts Tim) IS FROM NEW ZEALAND!!!
As a half-Kiwi, this makes me very happy :D!! I probably should've been able to tell from the accent, but I couldn't.
EDIT: Just found out he was born in Christchurch too, which makes me even happier since I have family there! :DD

Before I graduated, my art teacher invited me on a field trip, and the whole point of the trip was to branch into other art methods and styles. I signed up for print making and made the worst cat you could ever imagine, but then I made baby Steve from bigtop Burger. A new friend commented on how they would love to see a linocut print for bigtop, so I did that. It's definitely not done, and I've actually added a few stamps to the print, such as some little confetti burgers and the sketch of their food truck that haunts me from a corner.
