the parallels between the way till was raised and the way he loves… till loved mizi because her smile, joy, and overall warmth reminded him of his mother. she was almost a physical representation of her and her loving nature. and till innately loved ivan as well because he watched over him, cared for him and nurtured him in the way his mother did.

till was taught what love was unlike some of the other characters as he had a strong example of it from when he was young. and he visibly takes that forward with him throughout his life, and keeps his love for his mother with him through his future forms of love and that is just so beautiful.
