it was hard to say what entertained sally these days. some days she was fine with having some drinks with strangers and maybe bedding one or two... or three... at the same time. but some nights she was only amused by a bloody victim running and screaming for their life down the hallways of the cortez. tonight happened to be one of those nights. one of those lonely nights.

         ❝RUN !! ❞ she yelled with a maniacal laugh, chasing after her victim who was sobbing and sally herself bloodied and pretending to have her teeth falling out of her mouth, her eyes crying blood. she wanted to scare the living shit out of this person. until, that is, mr. march comes out of the hallway and suddenly stabs the other with a cane. she stops in her tracks, wiping her mouth of her blood and rotted teeth. ❝you’re no fun. ❞

“Professor,” Penelope steps into the classroom’s door frame, in a quiet unusual manor.  She was still becoming slowly accustomed to the life of White Pine Bay. Having to start in a new school, running a new motel with her mother and adjusting to her house... nothing seemed easy as life threw it all in her face. “You wanted to see me?” the girl questioned, a little more confidence running through her voice and tone. Gripping her backpack bag strap, she hesitates before walking over to one of the desks, placing it down by her feet and sitting. “Is something the matter?” Penelope knows she’s behind on the new school year, but she’s trying. Though she’s got other things on her mind that are distracting her--- things always distract the girl.

       The man in front of him was still swearing blindly, threatening him with all sorts of MEANINGLESS violence. It would have been more effective if blood hadn’t been pouring from his nose, muffling his voice.

     “ I’m BORED, ”    Lucifer said, picturing the world from up high, trying to focus on somewhere truly deserving of this ASSHOLE,    “ How about a holiday? ”     A held up his hands, and SNAPPED his fingers. The man vanished.     “ I hear SIBERIA is lovely this time of year. ”

     He turned his attention to the woman, still sprawled on the floor beside him. Normally, he wouldn’t take an interest in such matters, but if he was here to stay, well... might as well get to know the LOCALS.

     “ I’ve no patience for such bullying behaviour, ”    he said brightly,    “ are you alright? ”

Hum. First that comes to mind is the midsummer celebration rituals? I can’t remember nearly all of them but one is that if you pick up seven different flowers and put them under your pillow at midsummer night, you’ll dream of your future spouse.

We celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, not Christmas Day.

       Rick is taken aback by the statement. He pauses for a moment, brow furrowed. It doesn’t take much to know the difference, objectively. What people mean when they say something like that. Still, Rick’s experiences have been that they’re one in the same. After a moment of staring at her, he clears his throat.

Placing the fresh mugs of tea on the table for them. “I actually wanted to do the opposite because you seemed to be elsewhere with your thoughts.” Which was truly understandable after what had happened to her mother. She should have thought before touching her anywhere near the neckline.

Having stayed in the New born Station Alex placed their baby back down and immediately came to the IC Unit when the nurse informed him about his sister-in-law’s drastically changed condition. Heading down the busy hallway, he could already spot Blaire from afar while she stood by the window to her sister’s room. Helplessly having to watch the medical staff taking care of her. Placing his arm around his young wife’s shoulders, he gently drew her into his chest as he spoke into her brown curls. “I’m here... What happened?”

She threw her glasses halfway across the room, while the tears streamed down her cheeks. “Why...?” Thin lips pressed together, dark brown curls falling against the wooden door that now separated the sisters. Why could she never be enough for someone to be with her? Why did it have to be her own sister... this time?

                       He’d spent the first two periods of the day in DETENTION. Not a new, his behavior seemed to decrease in quality lately. His patience in school ran out quicker, his tolerance at home was minimal. He was often too angry to care. Pity, considering his potential. And whatever Ms Watson was going on about, it was the last thing in mind. Tate sat there, at his desk, lost in his own thoughts.   @tillhumanvxices
