i cant believe how many girls are out here calling themselves femme while objectifying and putting down butches/studs/mascs. they have no clue what it is to be femme, they think its simply an aesthetic, a fun twist on feminine. they either ignore or refuse to learn about butch/femme identities, our history. they think being femme is cute dresses, makeup, receiving. they ignore how entwined femmes and butches are, how we protect each other. support each other, give to each other. they don't see butches as our equals, our twin flames. dont see them as people with boundaries deserving of respect. they don't get to call themselves femme
