Had to make a post on Twitter dot com to express how heartbreaking it was to see my skrunglos being mischaracterized (their role were switched) bc no. The guy that is literally the law will NOT be smiling when arrested no matter how silly he can be.

However, his boyfriend who teaches illegally classes in the forest, keeps a robotic crab (illegal) in a greenhouse, ignores the requests of the representatives of their country, told those same people actively to go fuck themselves, canonically doesn't give a shit about being put in jail, eats mushrooms (for research) and occasionally gets high on them, pays for books to be imported (books are illegal there) for his illegally adopted daughter who has no papers.... it's another story 💀

Tighnari x Reader

Multiple animals gathered around you. Dusk birds landing on nearby branches and peacefully co-existing with the rishboland tigers. They all stayed calm near you due to your calming and peaceful presence. Always happening an animal in need.

Butterflies landed on your shoulders,foxes sat on rocks with spinocrocodiles resting with the bird buddies. As you hummed a gently and mesmeric melody. Keeping the peace between the animals. Knowing the animals near you with your eyes closed.

Some Rishboland tigers rubbed their faces near your legs. Foxes pawing at your feet as you opened your eyes. Seeing Tighnari who appeared in front of you. Some scurried away seemingly to make an opening for him. Seemingly calm around him as you barely moved a muscle.

He sat down near a few foxes. Using his hand to support his head as he watched you lovingly. Wagging his tail slowly and relaxing himself.

After you finished your humming the animals moved away. Satisfied and Tighnari came up to you as you got up. “I never knew you could sing or hum so wonderfully.” He’d state as he hugged you. “It’s music to anyone’s ears.” Tighnari said to you when you embraced the hug.

“Thank you Tighnari.” You would reply to him as you both sat in the comfortable silence. Wrapping his tail around you effortlessly and bringing you closer. Hugging you as you leaned into his chest. Both of your views focused on the sky and the water. Watching the lotus’s sway slowly with each wave.

He seemed to be more clingy than usual. But he’s busy with work so it’s rare to see him off. He most likely found you on a patrol or during research. Watching as Rishboland tigers letter you pet them. Amazed at how close you were to the animals in the forest and how much trust they placed into you. Slightly jealous that you didn’t pet his ears or tail.

“How are you so close with them?” “They hear me sing often and I always help them so they know I’m not a threat.” You’d tell him. Intrigued by your answer. Humming softly again.

“Just like you say, One with the Forest Tighnari~” you’d say to him as he and you both laughed. Watching a finch land on his head between his ears. Flicking them as you used a finger to put the finch on your finger. Showing it to Tighnari for a few moments. Trying to not trigger his more animalistic side, it flew off to a nearby branch.

I believe that Tighnari would firmly enjoy a mushroom buddy, just someone who's willing to listen for hours on end facts about mushrooms (I'm willing to be that person!)

He just... thrives off of conversation and fact sharing, he'll share his mushroom facts with you, and he'll listen to you explain why this one character is perfect for this other character even through they've never met in canon material

You guys could spend an entire day info-dumping on each other and feel so emotional fulfilled the next day, couple goals honestly

A/N I want Tighnari to be mine, honestly, please seduce me with your poisonous mushroom facts

You laughed happily, the bright blue sky above you and the warm sun shining down, making the the wildflowers amongst the green grass standout. It was such a beautiful day, there was a nice breeze so you didn't feel to warm and the baby was playing with a small amount of flowers in your lap, a little sun hat on their head. Tighnari setting out a lunch you two had packed, while constantly glancing at the tiny baby in your lap who was now giggling cutely as they wiggled the flowers in their small hands.

"They seem to like plants, Tighnari what if they grow up to be a botanist like you? Awe wouldn't that be so cute." You said cheerfully, tickling the babies side to make them giggle even louder, you knew you hadn't made any actual plans to keep them...but by now it seemed like it had been silently decided by the both of you and you were completely fine with that.

"Technically speaking, I could teach them everything I know from a young age, they'd have a advantage over everyone else and a great knowledge of plants in case they ever run into a emergency in the forest...that is if we decide to keep them." His eyes met yours as he finished his sentence, clearly wanting to know your opinion on the matter and finally confirm with you the future of your family.

"I want to...they are so cute...and they match our small family so perfectly. I know you love them too...and even though it's only been a few weeks...I can't imagine life without them." Your words had so many feelings in them and Tighnari could tell as he set a gentle hand on top of yours, both of you smiling happily as the baby followed suit. Their tiny fingers feeling soft against your skin, showing that you three were truly a family now and you couldn't wait to begin this special journey as parents together.
