Current fic: went back to my own to see if I could get some writing mojo going (nope), and overall in a dry spell except for random older reblogs -- y'all should write more so I can read more!

Next on my watchlist: Reservation Dogs (s3), Only Murders in the Building (s3), Justified: City Primeval; going to start Freaks and Geeks with my 15-year-old soon (13 episodes of pure perfection that they're now old enough to share with).

Current obsession: Well, besides the obvious, this blog's whole raison d'être ... media- and culture-wise, I'm all over the place, but there's so much shit taking up my time rn that I don't have the headspace for any true obsessions, except maybe the ambitious strength goals I've set for my milestone bday in January. Maybe once all this goddamn work on my house is done and I don't live in the garage anymore?

Hung Gar Kungfu — a ferocious yet graceful art

The stance called "Wolf and Leopard pressurize Tiger" 狼豹憑虎, black tiger claw technique 黑虎爪法, TigerCrane style 虎鶴雙形拳, a kind of the treasure from the Hung Gar family styles.⠀

Creating of this shot was inspired by @JackieChan in the movie "The Forbidden Kingdom" (2008). He showed the Tiger style in the most formidable and graceful manner, it is especially well captured on movie posters. ⠀ ⠀ Also in the Forbidden Kingdom, JC and Jet Li staged the battle "Mantis Fist VS Tiger Claw" (螳螂拳VS虎爪之间对决), one of the most epic Kung Fu fight in cinema, and lately, this masterpiece has simply become known as "the J and J Fight". ⠀
