Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NIV) 3 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: 2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. The Bible is very clear on procrastination. It is very simple. The Word tells us that there is a time for everything. So the time that we are supposed to be using for something purposeful is precious. One thing we cannot get back is time. If 12:11pm Thursday 20thof February 2014 goes by we cannot go into Friday 21st of February to retrieve that time. It would not be the same. God does not procrastinate. He knows when to act and then to wait. You never see God rushing to get the scene before it gets to messy! Lol. God knows EXACTLY when to step in. As Christians a lot of us struggle with procrastination. I am definitely one of them. But we must remind ourselves that God is not slothful. And as Christians we must imitate Christ. Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied. So in order for us to not procrastination we must be always ready to go. Always prepared, and also being before God constantly will help. When you are in the presence of God nothing that is not from Him can stand before Him. Procrastination is not from God, so staying in His Presence will take things that are not of Him away from you, if you allow Him to drive it away. #empoweredwomen #thursdayReflections

i just want to share a bit of my story. last friday, i stayed a little longer in the masjid (mosque) after the sermon. it is something that i usually do because inside the masjid is so quiet and peaceful. it is in this kind of place where i scribble almost all of the words i share to the world. i realized that it really feels different when you know you already belong to something like where you are supposed to be. there is peace in your heart. like you feel the space between harmony and chaos. and the gaps in between are the spirit of satisfaction and contentment. . this feeling is so unprecedented to me. i run out of words whenever i try to explain this kind of emotion. everytime i think how blessed i am to have found my own path, to have loved by the people around me, to have lived a colorful life, i cry. . because, eventhough i don't have a thick bank account or a luxurious ride, or a perfect family, i am still the luckiest human that has ever lived. all these, when i found out that life is about believing what has already destined for us. do you agree? . and by the way, this post is my last post that i personally own for this month as i will be sharing the works submitted by other writers and photographers. i hope you loved it. stay tuned for my next post -- submitted poetry. 🤩😍 . -- jpa ❤️ // #justreflections #thursdayquotes . What has God brought to your attention today? For me it was my prayer asking God to let people see Him through me. When I got on the bus today the bus driver was late, rude, loud and I'm pretty sure she was on a substance. I was thinking to myself what type of person is this! But then God brought my prayer to my Attention again. TRY TO SEE EVERYONE THE WAY GOD SEES THEM. WITH LOVE. I guarantee you it will change your perspective totally. Even people who are inherently evil, God loves them anyway. Thank you Lord for showing me to love everyone a little more like you. When we love people a little more the way God loves them, they see Jesus in us. #thursdayreflections #empoweredwomen
