so many weeks ago, I saw this one gif posted by @dailymidsomermurders, and it was a gif of Jamie taking a last bite of his pizza before leaving the office, from s21e02…

…the gif inspired me to make a comic about that moment, and I in fact did end up making it ^_^ (ty for that extra tiny bit of encouragement from @midsomer4life to carry thru with it after I put the idea out there)

I’ve been thinking about this lately

Why hasn’t Midsomer Murders done a knitting related episode yet?! Like imagine the possibilities of how you could get killed with stuff related to knitting/yarn/wool :0

- death by getting stabbed by a knitting needle

- strangled to death with yarn

- poked in the eye with a crochet thing

- trampled by a herd of sheep

- suffocation via having wool stuffed into your mouth

- the list goes on 👀

Also I would just find it funny to see John and Jamie learn how to knit (or maybe…one of them already does it as a secret hobby???) 😳 Like just imagine Jamie is at his flat or something, quietly knitting a blanket for himself, and John just shows up totally unannounced and just sees yarn everywhere lmaooo

And the motive? the killer wanted to inherit a farm with the most expensive sheep in Midsomer country wHeeZe (either that or the killer wanted to reclaim a club prize for the best knitted item lmfao)

- an episode related to apple harvesting (got informed this already exists so nvm lol)

- a figure skating episode because this former skater demands representation of figure skating in tv more often :/

- an actual Halloween themed episode where everyone actually wears a costume for more than 2 seconds (MIDSOMER WRITERS PLS CONSIDER PUTTING JAMIE INTO A DRAGON COSTUME LMFAO)

- escape room episode :0 (since Jamie is a danger magnet he can be placed in danger again via escape room lollll)

- an episode related to entomology because I love me some bugs wHeeZe (like, the episode is centered around all kinds of bugs and people get murdered over a rare beetle or something 👀- and imagine Jamie being creeped out by someone holding a giant spider lollll)
