so, kanato, i have some thoughts, to begin with lets talk about his appearence, i like to think that kanato has the kind of ethereal beauty, maybe bc he is the one who looks the most like his mother, so the beauty is serving. kanato has round eyes and long lashes, and his dark circles juts makes his gaze pop out.

so, i have a lot of thoughts in kanato.

He doesn't look out much for their protection and focuses more on the possessive aspect that he wants them to know that they only belong to him. So he doesn't worry much when he just randomly leaves you from time to time and just threatens you to stay here and wait for him. Maybe Ayato has never considered that something quite as terrible might happen, everything so far has just been sadistic fun for him and the thought of abduction initially doesn't cross his mind when he returns his room but can't find you. Instead he instantly assumes that you stupid thing have left him as he starts angrily searching for you in the entire mansion, slamming doors and yelling at the brothers who are unfortunate enough to walk past him. The first anger slowly ebbs away though as panic seeps through when he can't find you on the entire property. Where the fuck are you?! This isn't funny anymore!!

🥇​He reaches the limit of his own capabilities for now but is too proud to ask any of his brothers for help. So instead he starts shouting at them as he blames them for not stopping you as he searches for the fault in everyone else but himself. It's then that Laito reveals to him that he saw you the last time in the garden before you were suddenly assaulted and taken away by some men. Ayato nearly pounces on him to strangle him, hot fury causing him to almost explode as he shouts at his brother why he didn't do anything to help you before Laito flees to avoid Ayato's short temper. He just vents out his wrath for a while as he throws every vase he can find against walls or destroys some furniture before he calms down somewhat. Then he feels the dread crawling up his spine. You were taken away by someone...He'll bash their heads for that. He'll kill those bastards for taking something that belongs to him away from him.

🥇​He lacks the sensitivity when it comes to properly conducting some research and proper investigation. He couldn't care less for this shit anyways as he has no time to waste. Ayato just storms away from the mansion with no clear plan besides rescuing you and his only weapon he takes with him being a knife. He relies on his enhanced senses to track you down as good as he can as well as basically threatening every person he sees to tell him if they know everything about you. The longer it takes him to find you, the worse his temper becomes as he is really that close to losing it and just assaulting and hurting everyone he sees. It's all their fault!! His anger is unable to contain itself properly anymore at one point and he starts destroying and hurting everyone in proximity. Yet it is through violence that he actually catches someone who knows about your whereabouts as they are involved with everything. They get little to no chance to beg for mercy before Ayato slams their head furiously into the ground over and over again until blood stains the ground until he leaves th person the cusp of death. He'll murder them all!!

🥇​Ayato honestly doesn't think that he could possibly feel any more lust to murder until he kicks in the door to their hideout and startles everyone inside. Green eyes fly to you as soon as he smells your enticing blood and widen when he sees the beaten state you're in. Then he just snaps. He doesn't care that you see everything as his mind is hazy with blood lust and deathly sadism to see the life fade from your captor's face. He screams at them to just die as he goes completely violent. He hits, he kicks, he stabs and he breaks bones and doesn't even care that his mindless and violent ways to attack might leave him vulnerable for counter attacks. He isn't even fully aware of what happens but he only knows that every cry he hears and every wound he inflicts fills him with deep satisfaction. When he fully returns, he is covered from head to toe with blood as your terrified sobs fill the room. He has some minor wounds too as he only focused on killing and less on defending himself but that doesn't matter as the person who kidnapped you lays in a puddle of their own blood, already dead.

🥇​He snaps at you as he unties you and insults you for being so stupid and leaving his room without him but there are some tears in his eyes as he yells those words at you. He tries to stop the bleeding from your multiple wounds but only ends up hurting you accidentally. He's actually afraid as he sees that the blood loss has weakened you. So he lifts you up and hurries with you over to the Sakamaki mansion, snarling at you to stay awake and even slapping you to keep you conscious. He's threatening and growling at Reiji for help as much as it hurts his pride because he knows that he doesn't possess the necessary knowledge to tend to your injuries. His older brother caves in and caters to your wounded form as Ayato is unbearably loud and annoying right now. He only guarantees your survival though before he dismisses Ayato and you out of his room. Ayato, too proud to thank him, leaves silently and that's the most gratitude Reiji can expect.

🥇​He's scolding and yelling at you even days after the incident as you rest in his bed and recover from the injuries. The vampire tries to look out for you but his treatment is quite rough as he squeezes onto your injuries when he tries to assist you whilst moving or shoves a fork or spoon full of food past your lips to feed you even when you insist that you can do it by yourself. He treats you as if you are completely incompetent and that is honestly the way he is thinking about you as of now. After all you can't even leave the fucking room without him without getting yourself into some sort of trouble. So now you aren't allowed to go anywhere anymore without him monitoring you. This experience has taught Ayato that not everything is always all fun and easy though and he starts taking your protection more seriously as he realises that there are people after you too. His way of protecting is more overbearing though as you're always locked inside your room whenever he has to leave and he may just tie you up to ensure that you don't move.

Ayato Kirishima

🌌​Ayato is also quite rough when it comes to treating his darling, especially the first few weeks after abduction where everything is bumpy and terribly new and frightening. You aren't the only one who has get used to now living with a ghoul after all, Ayato has to adapt to a life with you, a human, now too which means that he is faced with burdens and worries he didn't have before. Despite his harsh exterior, Ayato is protective though and that from the vey start. He has grown up with harsh and unforgiving circumstances so he knows that the world tends to be cruel. He's very protective after all although he'd rather bite off his own tongue than to just admit that to you. He doesn't want to be too obvious with his own weak spot for you. He always reminds you to never leave the apartment when he leaves you because otherwise there will be consequences. Yet you're still gone when he one day returns with stuff he got for you. Shortly he wonders if you are just incredibly stupid before he notices the clear signs of a fight.

🌌​He feels the anger already dwelling up but forces himself to stay calm. He can't allow himself to lash out. Not yet at least. He quickly walks through the entire apartment as he collects all hints he can see, from the slashed and destroyed furniture to the few patches of blood on the ground. He'd notice that aroma anywhere. It's your blood. The damage inflicted on the furniture and his apartment doesn't look like it could have been inflicted by ordinary weapons and he soon just arrives at the conclusion that this is the result of a kagune. You were taken away by a ghoul! Shit, this couldn't have ended up worse! Chances for a ghoul to just randomly break into a house are rare as most lure outside in the dark backstreets so the thought that this ghould specifically came for you due to knowing about Ayato's presence in your life is very likely. He has made a couple of enemies over the years so it is logical that they would target you instead of him since you are a mere human.

🌌​Ayato is doing it all by himself because he has always been all on his own. He doesn't trust anyone else with you nor does he want to admit to anyone else that he is so incredibly attached to a human. So he won't even request help from his own sister and much less from Aogiri Tree if he should still be an executive for them. Instead he goes out all on his own with the little bit of knowledge he was able to collect from his apartment. He starts seeking all other ghouls he can find in Tokyo as he attacks and threatens them to tell him if they have seen anything suspicious whilst keeping his guard up. If they really came for you to get to him, he is almost expecting that they'll try to get in contact with him to try to make a deal with him or use him for something by trying to keep him under control with you. He isn't wrong as night eventually falls and he is approached by two of them who ask him to come with them because they have what he is searching for. Hold it in. He has to hold it in for a bit longer.

🌌​He attacks both of them out of the blue as soon as he sees the place you're held in without giving them much of a chance to defend themselves, leaving them heavily wounded outside as he raids the place. There's one more waiting inside as they have been watching over you and all Ayato can do in a short moment is kick the chair your tied to away to get you away from them as a fight ensues. His focus is split though as he is fully aware that you're still there as he tries to create as much distance between you and the fight as he can so you don't get up hurt. Unfortunately the other ghoul knows that as he tries to use it to his advantage whilst Ayato tries to get them away from you. Until a short second is all it takes for them to stab you with their kagune, the blood flodding out of your wound. His heart threatens to break out of his chest as his eyes zoom in on your form and the blood suddenly surrounding you, his own inner chaos threatening to deafen him. Until suddenly there is silence. Within only a few minutes later, he is panting as he stands over their half-dead body, clear signs of a destructive fight all around him.

🌌​He feels sick when he rushes to you, his hands instantly sticky with cold blood as he touches you. Your eyes are already closed and your breath and heartbeat are shallow. He shakes you, he slaps you, he yells at you to wake up yet nothing hurts as blood still leaks out of your wound. He feels like someone is stepping on his chest as every breath he takes feels straining and painful as he realises that you might bleed out if he doesn't do anything. He knows that he needs help because he isn't as stubborn as to pretend that he has what it takes to safe you. So he lifts you up in his arms before he rushes away with you. There's really only one person he can think of right now as he doesn't have a lot of allies. Touka is shocked when he suddenly appears in front of Anteiku with you in his arms as she is the only one he could think of for help. He's trembling a bit, his tone demanding yet also cracking with vulerability as he yells at her and the other ghouls here to help you.

🌌​Everyone in Anteiku does their best to help you as much as possible whilst Ayato is watching with burning eyes. He won't let anyone else hurt you! Then he stays in your room for the entire time up until you slowly regain consciousness. He is instantly leaning over you as soon as he sees your eyes fluttering open as the first question he asks you is if you're feeling okay. His worry for you reigns supreme for this first moment as you wake up and as soon as he realises that you're out of any life-threatening danger, he can't help but lash out on you. He knows that you couldn't have stand a chance against three ghouls but it is this weakness of yours he verbally attacks and insults. You really can't do anything without him, can you?! Why are you so pathetically weak?! He takes you back as soon as he can because he doesn't want you to spend too long in Anteiku, although he will have to search for a new place up until then because he can't return to the previous place he hid you in. After he has found a new place, don't expect him to leave you out of sight anymore. He realized it alright. You really can't survive without him by your side.

🍎​Do you know him yet? No, probably not but his involvement has already infiltrated your life deeply like an incurable tumor that is bound to bring you nothing but pain and suffering. Everything just falls apart for you as you lose your job, your house, your car and even the connection to the people you thought cared about you. What you think is just the world giving letting you know that it hates you is in reality caused by the obsession of one man who has to make you suffer for loving you. You are mostly being watched though by Fyodor who has set up cameras and is able to gain access to cameras within public too. He sees everything. Yet the one time he tends to some important business and stops observing you closely like a hawk, you happen to get kidnapped and at this rate you're too tired and exhausted to properly defend yourself anymore. You disappeared from all footage when he tunes in again which instantly arouses his suspicion.

🍎​It is quite easy for Fyodor to find out everything he needs to know though. He sits down and goes through every footage in the area from where you were last seen. His dedication doesn't come without reward as he soon spots you in the records as you are accompanied by a few faces he doesn't recognize. He watches closely every movement they do and as the fear in your face is quite obvious even if only through the screen, he can guess that you were taken by force. So all he has to do now is gather information on those who dared to take you from him and to discover their hideout. He searches for information himself as well as asking some of his pawns to go out and see what they can find on information all by themselves. he gathers everything he needs to know within a short amount of time, he is well linked after all. A smaller group of criminals, utterly disposable as well as doomed for accidentally touching what he wants for himself.

🍎​He doesn't have to even go out himself. He has enough people he can send as he can guess that those people will definitely try to resist with the weapons they have. Fyodor takes his time to come up with a plan because if it should escalate into a violent conflict, he wants you to be out of the picture. You need to suffer but to die isn't your fate. He gathers some people who listen to him as he explains to them what he wants them to do and he mentions at the end casually yet also quite seriously that he will punish them if they end up getting you into any danger. He's the only one under whom you will suffer and suffocate. He already plans to just keep you with him permanently after you've been rescued. This is a little bit earlier than he initially anticipated but it can't be helped. That just means that he can keep you and break you sooner, although he thinks about being generous enough to give you some time to recover. He can't have you focusing on anyone else whilst in his presence.

🍎​He waits as the operation begins but he certainly is still making sure that he is always being updated with the current situation. He wants the leader of this small gang to be brought to him alive though because he wants to have a small chat with them. Fyodor doesn't intend to let them leave alive, he just wants to make them suffer by making them realise how much they messed up by choosing you as their next victim. That's how he finds out pretty quickly though that you have been shot accidentally within the commotion as you tried to run away and that's when he changes his plans. He wants everyone except the one who shot you dead and gives clear instructions on catering to your wound instantly. His aura is menacing and terrifying even with the calm look on his face as the one who shot you is brought to him as he starts chatting a bit with them, purple eyes observing them with a sinister gleam in his eyes. This conversation turns more and more unnerving as he reveals secret after secret he knows of them until he ends it when his short amusement has stopped, ending them quickly.

🍎​He monitors your recovery closely the moment you arrive. You're barely conscious when you initially arrive as you have lost a lot of blood so he decides to wait until you're in a better condition. He visits you a few times in your unconscious state, his purple eyes resting on your sleeping form as he feels something tugging at the strings on his heart. You look so peaceful and vulnerable right now as you lay in bed, your body taking the time it needs to recover from all the stress and blood loss. He can't resist to caress your facial features a bit as he looks at you, a hint of a small smile on his face. How sweet and serene you look in this moment. You should enjoy this as long as it lasts. Once you're recovered, you won't be able to rest so easily anymore. His smile transforms into something more sinister as this thought enters his head. Just for now though...he feels like being soft with you.

🍎​Once you regain your consciousness, Fyodor finally introduces himself more properly to you. You are scared and confused and he does his best to answer all of your question as good as he can. He only leaves the one major reveal out of everything. His obsession as well as his plans with you. By all accounts, you initially think of him as your savior as you thank him profusely for his help and he can't help the smirk on his face as he silently accepts it. You're probably going to be utterly destroyed as soon as he reveals to you who he truly is but that will make everything only more amusing. So he never corrects you in your wrong assumption as he acts surprisingly nice and sweet as you recover from your wounds and start feeling better and better. When he finally pulls the rag out from under your feet as you are almost back to normal, the smile you have given him so far morphs into sheer fear as you find out all too suddenly what he really is. It's too late though.

Jouno Saigiku

♦️​Jouno is a complete bastard, that is at least what you think about him whenever he mysteriously pops up just where you are. Like seriously, is he stalking you or what? You did accuse him a couple of times already of this and all he gave you was this smug smile of his. He never denies your accusations but at the same time, he doesn't admit them either. Perhaps if you would know who he really is and what he is capable of, you wouldn't act so cocky and careless around him. Saigiku would like to savor the reveal for a bit longer though. The world has other plans in store for him though as he one day can't find you anywhere as he heads outside. So when he heads to your place instead to see if you're not feeling well, the silence takes him by surprise. He can't hear anything, not even your breath. It's then that he starts getting suspicious and everything seems confirmed when he feels that the door to your house is loosely hanging on the hinges as if someone forcefully broke it.

♦️​He immediately gets to work as he tells the people from the government very bluntly to help him with this. The normally composed exterior of his seems a tad bit more threatening which scares even those he usually takes demands from as they quickly agree to assist him. He doesn't elaborate further though when they ask him who you are and what exactly you mean to him as he continues to figure out who took you. To imagine that someone actually dared to kidnap you...Well, there is no use in losing his composure now. Finding you and saving you is the first priority for now. The other Hunting Dogs can feel that there is something that deeply bothers him but he rejects the help a few of them offer as this is about you and you are his responsibility. He should be able to detect and rescue you without any help from the other Hunting Dogs.

♦️​When the government informs him a few days later that they caught someone they suspect of being involved, he instantly takes matters into his own hand. A terrifying grin is on his face as he visits the suspect in a special room. He grabs a chair and sits down in front of them as he starts asking them questions about you, your whereabout and about the one who took you. After all they're an accomplice so it's better to start talking now or otherwise they might end up with even more troubles. The supposed confidence they initially show is quickly snuffed out and replaced by fear as Jouno can sense their every lie easily. After all whilst the mouth may lie the rest of their body certainly can't. Their quick heartbeat, the adrenaline that pumps through their blood and their fast breath are all things that expose them to Saigiku. They're trembling when Jouno stands up from his chair and lets out a small sigh. This is taking too long. Seems like he has to use other method to get them to talk.

♦️​He heads out by himself with only little backup from some of the people the government insists that he takes with him. Jouno has gotten all of the information out of the other person that he needed though and what happens to them now is none of his concern. The only thing on his mind as of now is saving you as he has arranged the rest already. He hears your heartbeat picking up when he walks so casually and fearless into the abdandoned building you're held in. A frown appears on his face though when he realises that your body doesn't sound good, it sounds weaker and your breath is more troubled and strained. They hurt you, didn't they? Now that's just unforgivable. A dark smile stretches his face as his closed eyes look at you before he gives you one friendly warning to close your eyes now. That's all the warning you get before he cleanes the world of the person that took you and thought that they could get away with it. There's no need for a pesky insect like them to exist after all. Criminals should just die.

♦️​He's surprisingly careful as he frees you, although he can tell from your heartbeat and your stuttering breath that you're scared of him. There's no time for this now though. You need medical care as fast as you can because whilst he might not be able to see your wounds, he can still tell that it would be dangerous to not tend to them soon. He lifts you whilst trying to ignore your anxiety that he can clearly pick up as he leaves the abandoned building with you. You're quickly brought into a special facility owned and overlooked by the government where doctors tend to your injuries and patch you up. Saigiku is informed that you're out of any severe danger now that you have finally received medical care and he is pleased when hearing this. He wouldn't want you to leave him so easily after all. Jouno visits you a lot whilst you are put under bed rest as his inner composure has been disturbed due to the abduction. He tries to remind himself that he solved everything though as he listens to the sounds of your body.

♦️​For a while he doesn't give you the answers to your questions. You know that something is going on now because you have seen him literally murder someone and you also notice all those important-looking people here who show him respect as well as a slight bit of fear. Who exactly is he? Jouno is no fool, he knows that he can't keep this a secret anymore from you. He doesn't desire to do so either as he has already made a deal with the government. After this incident he doesn't think that he can just let you leave like this again. He'd like to put you under special supervision because you are someone important to him. He decides to tell you when you're neither too strong to possibly react violently or try to escape nor too weak to possibly not process everything fully. The weak protests you give him are ignored and quickly shot down as he reminds you that without him, you would have died. You need someone to protect you and luckily for you, his job includes saving people like you. So don't try to throw a big tantrum for now. You need time to heal properly, alright? You're never getting away from him anyways so it's useless.

Suehiro Tetchou

🌸​Tetchou's type of obsession is one which focuses majorly on protecting the person he cherishes the most. Even before he is fully able to grasp the own length of his emotions, you often have this oddball escorting you wherever you go. Despite this protective tendencies and his tendency to easily as well as frequently worry about you, Tetchou isn't as restricting as long as he isn't triggered. You are capable to still have a slice of your life for yourself as long as nothing happens. So when you are one day taken hostage by a group of terrorists and Tetchou finds out about it, he can only deeply resent himself for not having done more to secure your safety. He's distraught and blames himself as his heart clenches as he thinks of what you might go through at the moment. If only he had done more...you wouldn't have to go through such a terrifying experience right now.

🌸​He's storming out to track the group of terrorists down all by himself although out of politeness he tells Fukuchi at least what he plans to do. The older man stops him though as he tells them that the shouldn't just head out without any orders and that he shouldn't make any rash decisions either. After all you aren't the only hostage that has been taken. Tetchou can only give the captain an incredulous stare before he is about to leave anyways. He doesn't care. He wants to save you. He needs to save you. Apparently the ongoing accident has caught the attention of the government anyways since they've been trying to catch at least a few members of the group for interrogation. The fact that a fraction of the group was forced to hide in a building and take hostages because the police has them surrounded seems like a good chance and with Fukuchi's help, they decide to deplore the Hunting Dogs to the scene. For now they need to wait though as casualities should be avoided and for that they need more intel.

🌸​Tetchou is extremely tense the entire time because having to wait until he can go is killing him. What if you're hurt? What if you're currently getting hurt? What if you're going to be killed? How are you feeling right now? There are so many worries that his head starts buzzing soon as he feels a dull painful throbbing as he drowns himself in his worries over you. His inner turmoil is giving even Saigiku an headache as he can sense the overwhelming amount of nervousness and worries he builds up inside of him as he asks Tetchou annoyed if he could please just stop. As if he could. He's rushing off by himself as soon as the order to head out is given to the Hunting Dogs. Teruko yells at him to wait for them because he can't just head out without the captain and them but at this point Tetchou is unable to properly listen anymore. He just wants you safe. Why is that so hard for everyone else to understand?

🌸​The atmosphere changes the moment the Hunting Dogs arrive as the tension partially dilutes with such strong and hailed allies arriving now. The police feels a great sense of relief as some of them can't help but cheer already since they will surely save everyone now whilst the few terrorists who have been cornered feel only horror when they recognize those uniforms. Before any of them can properly make a threat by using the hostages, things have already begun though. They're already so few in numbers and that makes everything even easier. All of them are quickly put out of commission although they aren't killed as they're going to be interrogated later so that their hideout can finally be found. Tetchou cares little for that though as he frantically walks through the crowd of hostages, his eyes trying to find you. The short relief he feels when he spots you turns to dread when he realizes the blood staining your abdomen. You've been shot, most likely before they even arrived.

🌸​You're barely conscious anymore due to the loss of blood as he quickly lifts you up and hurries outside. An ambulance! You need an ambulance! You are sane enough though as you recognize Tetchou and start muttering in a delirious way that you were shot whilst trying to stop one of the terrorists from beating another hostage up as a warning. His grip on you tightens as he tries to keep you conscious by talking to you and saying with a strained voice that you've always liked to play the hero. Why do you always have to do this? Tears are blurring his vision when the ambulance quickly drives you to the hospital and you finally lose consciousness. He isn't able to focus on anything else, his heart and mind by you as he stands next to the other Hunting Dogs, feeling numb and cold. He's eventually dismissed as it's obvious that he doesn't react anymore and so he rushes to the hospital and waits for the surgeons to save your life all whilst lamenting his own helplessness to protect you.

🌸​You wake up the next day and are surprised to find Tetchou already being with you. He instantly sits straight in the chair when he notices that you're awake and judging from the darker rings under his eyes, he probably didn't get even a minute of sleep last night. Your worries for him are dismissed as your condition is so much more important right now as he asks you in a quiet tone about how you're feeling. His grip on your hands is gentle as if he fears that he'll break you otherwise and the hug he gives you when you tell him that you are feeling rather well despite the circumstances is even more tender. He just soaks in the feeling of your warmth as he mutters that he's relieved to hear that and that he was so worried about you. He also apologizes for not having been able to properly protect you and you can tell that this seems to eat him alive, this guilt and frustration. You want to reassure him that it wasn't his fault before he interrupts you with a slightly conflicted but determined gaze. This time he'll make sure that something like this will never happen again! Y-you'll understand though, right? After all everything he does is only for your protection...

Daki

🌺​She's been keeping her eyes out for you for quite some time now. What exactly it is she seems to find so captivating on you is a mystery for her and honestly, she isn't fine with this sudden interest she has with you. She is beautiful, strong and ethereal after all. You are nothing in comparison to her. You are weak, pathetic and your looks are average at best. Yet why?! Why is she unable to get you out of her mind?! The amount of times she has contemplated to kill you off or seriously hurt you only to not be able to pull it off are numerous and her brother gets the worst of her temper tantrum. She's obsessed but despises you at the same time yet when you one day stop appearing, she feels seriously betrayed. How. Dare. You. She sends her obi slash out to find you and capture you because this is unacceptable yet later on she is informed that you aren't in your room. You're gone.

🌺​As soon as she receives those news, she completely lashes out. She doesn't care if she terrifies everyone in her house as they tremble, kneel and try to appease Warabihime whilst not even knowing why she is suddenly in such a terrible mood. Daki doesn't care though and she ends up hurting a couple of people before she withdraws to her own room. She feels the intense urge to destroy the entire interior of her room and murder anyone who annoys her which is in her current mood pretty much everyone. Her wrath isn't even spared from her own obi slash as she demands from her blood ability to find you. After she has calmed down from the worst of her mood, she starts crying as Gyutaro tries desperately to comfort her. Where are you? What happened? Did you leave her?! She won't allow it!! She has the worst mood swings ever as she is wailing like a bratty child in one moment and loses control of her anger the next moment.

🌺​Gyutaro volunteers more or less of his own free will to search for you too because his sister is dear to him and her current temper tantrums do get slowly on his nerves too. If Daki is happy if she has you with her and finally calms down, then he'll track you down for her. Daki believes him when he promises her that he'll find you and gives him a nod with tears in her eyes. So she waits for any reports from her obi slash or Gyutaro and it is Gyutaro who returns first to her as he believes that he has found you. Daki instantly complains that he should have just brought you to her then but Gyutaro tells her that she should look out for you herself since she is the one so obsessed with you. Daki could get angry with him for this but he just remainds her that she should retrieve you because it looks like someone took you. Quickly her anger focuses on whoever dared to take her treasure away from her as she storms out to kill whoever laid their hands on you and after that she'll take you with her.

🌺​She overhears them talking briefly about selling you to someone and those words already make her desire to slash them with her blood ability rise. You won't get sold to anybody. You belong solely to her. When she smells your blood though that makes her mouth water a bit and she finally sees you though, the house collapses in an instant as her obi sashes effortlessly destroy the small building. You're beaten and dirty, defiled of your original beauty as your face is swollen and you have injuries all over your body because you tried to defend yourself. Not like she cares. She only cares about the fact that someone besides her touched you and ruined your cute face. One of her obi sashes manages to pull you out of the building just in time though although the way it wraps around your body only adds to the pain of your injuries. Your pain subsides for a moment though as you are in a state of shock as you stare at the collapsed house before you notice Daki who looks infuriated to the point where you can see her veins popping out in sheer wrath.

🌺​They are most likely already dead but in a fit of hot and possessive rage she pulls their body out of the debris and you can only watch in sheer horror as she cuts and mutiliates the corpse over and over again. As you try to speak up and beg her to stop, one sharp look from her is enough to quickly make you shut up and you can only look away in fear as she vents out all of her anger until she has calmed down somewhat. You hear her breathing heavily in anger before she finally turns her attention to you. Cold hands grab your face harshly as she all but yells at you for being so dumb to let yourself get caught in the first place. You don't deserve this but Daki is too occupied with pushing her anger on everyone else by blaming them instead of herself. She seems to calm somewhat down when she notices your tears and your injuries and asks you instead how you're feeling. You can only stutter out that you'll probably be fine without mentioning that you probably would have been crushed by the building she so thoughtlessly destroyed if she wouldn't have pulled you out.

🌺​You transfer ultimately from one hell into another. Instead of being sold to someone, you are now stuck with an entitled demon you have to be very careful around unless you wish to earn her ire. Daki seems to realise that you need some recovery time after what you have been through but her incredibly explosive and short temper makes it hard for her at times to not be a bit rough around you if you end up annoying her. You can't expect much medical care because she refuses to let a doctor see you unless your life would depend on it and because you said that you'll make it, she deems one to be unnecessary. She does provide you with bandages and other medical stuff you might need though as she lets it all be delivered under the orders of her fake persona Warabihime. You'd rather not have her help you though because she struggles to be gentle and careful around you as she has never taken care of a human before. If she tells you that she wants to take care of her doll though, you know better than to refuse her.

The castle of the crown princes was very infamous in the city and all the villagers were afraid of it. The church believed that demons resided in that castle. For this reason, it was forbidden to approach that fort, and no one was allowed to approach that fort, otherwise they would be charged with a great sin and they would be known as criminals and sinners in the village.

The people of the village lived a peaceful life and worked hard in their fields so that they could live a hard life with the heavy taxes of the king. Everything in the village was peaceful and fine until one day a sad day came. The same day the rose fell into the trap and withered.

A 15-year-old and very beautiful girl lived in this village, whom the people nicknamed her White Rose. She was a pure and beautiful girl who was amazed by her beauty. This girl's name was Yui and she lived with her father Seiji in a very small hut. Seiji was a hunter and used to hunt animals to support himself and his daughter. He was often out hunting and Yui didn't spend much time with him.

The city library was a safe and relaxing haven for Yui. Where she would imprison her watch and travel to her imaginary world by reading. This work of Yui often made the village girls dislike her because they considered Yui to be a naive and simple girl who lives in her own dreams.

On one of the most beautiful autumn days, while the wind was blowing very strongly, Yui threw the warm scarf that the kind old woman of the village had woven for her on her shoulders.

The old woman of the village was the oldest person in this village and she had known her since Yui was born. The old woman remembers very well that Yui was a weak and abandoned girl in the forest whom Seiji rescued and took her in, and from that day on, he introduced Yui as his own daughter. That old woman loved Yui with all her heart and visited her every day.

While throwing the scarf over her shoulders, Yui put on her leather boots and took her leather bag and came out of the hut. As usual, when she is alone, she goes to the library to immerse herself in her fantasy world.

Before walking away from the hut, Yui went to the back of the hut to pet her father's guard dog. She had a strong interest in animals and talked to farm animals more than she talked to girls in her own age.

Hearing the voice of the guard dog, Yui moved closer to him and reached out to pet him. While caressing him with her delicate hands, she smiled softly and the guard dog was drowned in her kindness.

Yui: Fufu.... good morning Piku.... how are you? Did you sleep good last night?

Yui: Hmmm... I think you are hungry. Wait, I'll give you a delicious meal.

Yui opened her leather bag and took out a small sandwich. She made this sandwich for herself to eat in the village library when she is studying and not be hungry. She cut the sandwich in half and held one half close to the dog's mouth to encourage him to eat it.

Yui: Be quick Piku.... Fufu.... Come eat it.

While sniffing Yui's hand, Piku approached her slowly and took the sandwich from her and started eating. While eating the sandwich Yui was staring at him with a soft smile and Piku licked Yui's hand and Yui giggled. Piku usually does this to thank her.

Yui, who was sure that Piku was no longer hungry, got up and picked up her bag to go to the library.

Yui walks slowly on the dirt roads of the village on the way to the library. The autumn wind was blowing and the leaves were coming off the trees. A few leaves fell on Yui's golden hair and Yui smiled brightly while looking at the sky.

Yui continued on her way until she saw the village girls gathered together as usual, talking about colorful clothes and braiding each other's hair. Yui never wanted to join them because the village girls teased her for her interest in books. And she always ignored them.

When she passed by the girls of the village, she hugged her bag tightly, fearing that they would steal her bag like the previous days and harass her. Yui could feel their serious look and grin while passing and that they started to chatter when they saw Yui. Yui was sure that they were making fun of het, but without paying attention to them, she walked away from them and continued on her way to the library.

Yui continued on her way until a soft voice caught her attention. She knew this voice well. The voice that always brought a smile to her face.

???: Yui my dear girl.... is that you?

Hearing the sweet voice of the old lady of the village, Yui smiled softly and looked behind her and saw the most lovely person in the village. An old woman with braided white hair stood a few steps behind her, walking with the help of a wooden cane, and always had a soft smile on her face. This smile always gave Yui energy and made her happy.

Yui: Good morning Hina-san.

Yui slowly walked up to the old woman and hugged her. This was a habit that Yui always did after seeing her. The love that this old woman had for Yui was unparalleled.

Hina: Yui my dear. I am very happy to see you. Where were you going?

Yui: I was going to the library.

Hina: Hehehe.... Just like always, you are going to your dream haven.

Yui blushed hearing Hina's words. Old Hina knew her well and knew that the library was a place where Yui would hide from the world to be in her own fantasy world and she always admired this quality of Yui.

Peter took Yui's hand and led her behind the shelves. A place that was almost hidden from others. There was a secret shelf, which Peter opened with a key he took out of his pocket and took out a very old book, the cover of which was covered with dirt. Peter brushed away the dirt on the book causing Yui to cough.

Yui: *Cough* *cough*.... Peter-san...what kind of book is this?

Peter: This is an exclusive book with a true story behind it. You must have heard the legend of bloody roses that is told in the village. This book is the diary of the man who narrated the legend of bloody roses to him.

Yui: .....! Does this mean that this legend is true?

With trembling hands, Yui took the book from Peter and glanced at it. Seeing the old cover and the pages smelling of dried roses, her eyes sparkled. Yui, who until now thought that the story of bloody roses was just a myth, finds it hard to believe that there was a man who suffered so much in the way of his love.

Yui delicately and slowly put the book in her bag. As if she wanted to protect a valuable treasure, she did it very carefully so that the book would not be damaged. She looked at Peter with a soft smile to thank him.

Yui: Peter-san, thank you for trusting me and letting me read this book. I promise you that I will take care of it with all my heart.

Peter gave a big smile and put his hand on Yui's head and patted her with all his might, making Yui's hair completely messed up.

Yui sat by the fountain and took out the book from her leather bag, opened it and started reading. She could feel the scent of roses in the pages, tickling her nose. Without pausing, Yui opened the first page and started reading.

People may call me crazy.

But the feeling in my heart was not a lie.

Yui hadn't read a few more lines but she felt tears welling up in her eyes. It was very strange. Yui didn't even know that man, but she could feel the pain hidden in these words. As if she knew the great sadness that the man had hidden in his heart for years.

Because I was crazy about the beauty and purity of your heart.

If I could wish, my only wish would be you.

I wished for the world to be with you and see your smile.

Nina: Maybe her books are ready to marry her... hahahahaha.....

Although she was not feeling well at all, she went to the forest to collect firewood with a trembling body and dirt clothes. Maybe at least this will make her free from thinking about the cruel words of those girls.

Translator’s note: Bowling master Laito kind of threw me for a loop, but it also makes sense? Like he strikes me as the type of guy who would be unexpected skilled at a bunch of random things. In general, I’ve been really enjoying these ‘date scenario’ CDs. They actually did a good job making every one of them unique and choosing fun locations for each boy. I know the chances of us getting another DL anime are really slim, but if they do decide to make one, I really hope it’s not a season 3 based on DF or LE but a bunch of OVAs instead based on the drama CDs.

You tilt your head to side.

You squeak.

“They’re the proof of the love we share with each other every night~ It’s too bad you can’t really see them unless you move this close. I promise I’ll make them stand out even more by biting you nice and hard when we get back home, so rest assured~”

That's still traumatized even after they escaped the sakamaki/makami brothers

But there's still a kind and caring person

But one day he comes home and he can't find them anywhere just to find them hiding in a closet crying and shaking because of a nightmare of the sakamaki/makami brothers finding them and using them as a bloodbag again

And when he manages to calm them down they explain what happened to them before they met him and even though he kidnapped them they feel safe that's why they never fought back

You do not know how excited I was to get a request that included DL, it was my first ever anime 😁 It was also the first series I wrote for! So, this is 100% up my alley. Though I hope I do her justice, it's been a few years.

That being said, I don't actually write for Atsushi. I love him, but I don't feel like I could embody his character properly, especially as a yandere. So I did some brief headcannons about the scenario, but it's nothing too in-depth, in hopes of keeping as true to his character as possible. Hope that's alright!

Atsushi Nakajima | Headcannons

Atsushi is a kind man, yandere or not. When he comes home to silence and dead air when he calls for you, he panics. He tries not to assume the worst, but how can he not where you're clearly not here?

He races through the house, heart pumping, when he finally hears you-- sniffling and crying in the back of the master bedroom closet.

In his relief, he nearly throws himself at your feet. "Yui?" He asks quietly, taking your hand in his.

When you tell him about your nightmare, the normally calm and sweet demeanor he uses in front of you shifts to defensive and nearly feral.

He swears to you that they'll never hurt you, he'll never let them. He's lost too much, and he assures you that he won't lose you too. You have nothing to worry about, he'll take care of it.

He hasn't taken violent action until now, but he wishes you'd told him just how much you were affected by those damn bloodsuckers.

Don't worry about anything.. Soon, you'll be able to sleep safe, without even a possibility of harm coming to you.

Chuuya Nakahara | Scenario

"Yui?" He calls into the empty house.

Damn, he should've known better than to leave you alone while he was working.

"Fuck, this isn't a game!" He shouts, kicking the post on the staircase. You were always to be downstairs by 6:30 every day, dressed and ready to go out to dinner or an event with him. But you weren't here, and he knew you knew better than that.

So what possibility does that leave?

Kidnapping? The house was safety proofed, he would've known if anyone was trying to get in, and if you were trying to go out. Amd yet, none of his alarms went off, nothing looked touched, no sign of a struggle.

Hearing Chuuya stomp up the stairs made fear drop into your stomach. Shit. It was 6:30 already?

How long had you been crying?

You curled into a ball on the floor of the closet. It didn't matter now, you were going to be in trouble anyway.

You were already hyperventilating from your dream; the combined terror of your impending punishment didn't help much.

Chuuya stormed into the room, and then into the closet when he heard you.

"Yui! You scared me, what the hell were you doing?" He dropped down to balance on his heels in front of you.

"Hey... are you crying?" He folded into a position lying down next to you, hand on your waist.

"S-sorry, I'm so sorry, Chuuya, I--"

"I ain't mad, just tell me what happened." He was trying to be patient with you, at least.

Your breathing slowed a little, and you stretched out a bit, rolling into his grasp. He was here. It's Chuuya, for God's sake. If anyone could protect you, it was him. You were being stupid, why were you even cryi--

"Hey." His voice was firm, blue eyes boring into yours, searching for any hint to your distress, just how he was trained. "I want answers, Yui."

The words came tumbling out of you. "N-nightmare, I had a nightmare when I was trying to take a nap a-nd it just all came flooding back to me and I was scared and--"

"What came back to you?" His grip tightened and he scowled.

"T-there's something.. I haven't told you, Chuuie."

You looked away from him.

"You know... about all the awful things in this world.. ability users.. are part of the world.. but then there's things even darker, that even you wouldn't know about."

You glance up to him, and he nods for you to continue.

"Mm... There's... well, I'll be blunt, there's things in this world that fall under the name of 'supernatural', like.. vampires, and-- And! They're real! I swear!!"

"I believe you. Go on." You aren't sure if he really believes you or if he's just humoring you, but you might as well go on. It's been so long of you bottling this up, so you didn't scare anyone. But Chuuya? Chuuya loves you unconditionally. He wouldn't reject you just for this, there's no way.

"I.. was.. used, by some of these people. As.. food."

"People?" He spits, pulling you into his shoulder. "They sound more like monsters."

You offer a weak laugh in relief, relief that he isn't mad, that he believes you.

"Yeah.. maybe. But they were nice at times. I just... I'm still glad I got out. And I dreamt.. that I was back, and I was theirs, again, and I-I---"

"Shh..." Chuuya breathes out against the top of your head, hearing your whimpering begin anew as the dream comes back to you tenfold. "Haah... as if I'd ever let them get to you. I'd rather be dead. Tell me more about the bastards. I'll take care of them for you."

"It's ok.. they'll leave me alone now, I think. You.. you saved me, Chuuya. Thank you."

You know you probably sound stupid to him, but you can't help but wish for their wellbeings too. They didn't ask to be vampires, and some of them were nice sometimes.

He sighed. "You tell me.. when you're ready for me to do something about those assholes, just say the word. Say the word, and I'll make sure you don't have a single reason to worry. You're always gonna be safe with me, Yui. I ain't gonna let a single one of those creatures touch you, or anyone who hurt you. You're safe, Yui."

A Diabolik Lovers x Brooklyn 99 Crossover P1. 2 🥀

I thought about doing a DL x B99 crossover kind of thing, which is why I made the first post not too long ago. Hope you enjoy.

WARNING: This contains some spoilers for the DL manga "Young Blood".

*Ayato talking to Yui about him bonding with his father Karlheinz*

Ayato: "We had an epic night of bonding that I will never forget."

*Cue flashback to last night*

Ayato, drunk as hell with an apple on his head: "Do it. I believe in you."

*Karlheinz throws a dart that goes into Ayato's chest*

Ayato, not feeling any pain at all: "Throw it! I believe in you!"

*Kid! Ayato and his brothers Kid! Shu and Kid! Subaru as hostages by the Ghouls during the "Young Blood" manga*

Kid! Ayato: "We came here to win and they're not even giving us a chance. I think it's fair to say that no one in the history of demon kind has been discriminated against more."

Kid! Subaru who knows the history of the Ghouls: "Buddy."

Kid! Ayato: "Yeah, that's my 'b', it's the adrenaline talking."

*Context: while as kids, Ayato and his brothers were put through some kind of test by their father to see who'd become "Adam" for his plan in the future when "Eve" (Yui) would be around. In the process, the brothers would be chased around and captured by Ghouls, low ranking demons in the DL universe that consume flesh. So in this context, I guess I would say that the Ghouls have been discriminated against more than the Vampires.*

*Ayato, Reiji, and Subaru during summer break*

Ayato: "Another cold brew? Don't mind if I "cold do". Nailed it, anyway, I am loving this machine that Laito brought in."

Reiji: "It is nice. The trick is to let the coffee warm up to room temperature. I'm already on my second cup."

Subaru: "This is my third."

*Laito comes running in with an extremely concerned look on his face*

Laito in a slowed down speech: "STOP! You're drinking too much!"

Ayato: "Woah, what's going on? Laito, why are you talking so slow?"

Laito: "I'm not! I'm normal. We're all normal!"

*Ayato, Reiji, and Subaru look around the Sakamaki mansion to see the others are super slow speed*

Ayato talking really fast: "Oh-my-god. If-you're-not-going-slow-then-that-means-we're-going-fast. Are-we-going-fast? I-don't-feel-like-we're-going-fast."

Subaru: "I-don't-think-we're-going-fast-at-all-whatsoever. I-feel-like-we're-going-slow. Reiji, how-do-you-feel?"

Reiji: "Incredible. I-feel-amazing. I-feel-better-than-I've-ever-felt-in-any-moment-in-my-entire-life."

Ayato: "So-we're-fine?"

Subaru: "Yep."

Reiji: "Yep."

*Cue all three of them saying "yep" repeatedly in a fast manner*

Random Politician #1 after "Tougo" told him a joke: "Hahaha! Oh Tougo, you are such a crack up!"

Random Politician's wife: "Forget Anne, who should we fix him up with?"

Karlheinz/Tougo: "Oh Sal, you know I'm still getting over the tragic loss of my wife. She was such a strong, female woman, with nice heavy breasts."

*Ayato and Reiji when they arrive at school late for "reasons"*

Reiji: "Ayato, are you eating an Italian sub for breakfast?"

Ayato: "I am. But Pancake (Yui) said that I should eat more veggies, so I added extra pepperoncini. Smort."

*Ayato with the others in the living room*

Ayato: "Gentlemen, and lady (Yui), we are gathered here to answer an age old question."

Kino: "Right. What's Yui's deal? She single?"

Yui: *looks at Kino with slight disgust*

Ayato: "What? No, we're dating. C'mon. The question is: who here does the best impression of the tableware loving Otaku, Reiji Sakamaki. You'll be judged on voice, body language, and overall lack of flair. Everyone will perform the same scenario: Reiji eating a marshmallow for the very first time. Let the 'Reiji-Off' begin!"

*The others doing their best*

Shuu: "What is this glutenous monstrosity before me?"

Subaru: "The sugar in this is quite sweet."

Laito: *Does a whimsical laugh*

Ayato: "That's your Reiji impression?"

Laito: "I can hear him doing that."

Kanato: "Looks like a sticky pillow."

Ayato: "I don't care of for it. Classical music."

*Everyone laughs until Reiji enters*

Reiji who is genuinely curious: "What's going on here? What're you all doing?"

Ayato: "Reiji, nothing just. . . .eating some marshmallows, care for one?"

Reiji: "Marsh mallow?"

*proceeds to eat it*

Reiji: *does the same whimsical laugh Laito did earlier*

Laito: "I KNEW IT!"

*Subaru walks into the Sakamaki house wearing a pink shirt (note: this takes place after Kino is introduced)*

*Everyone is speechless*

Yui as soon as Subaru is out of earshot: "Oh. . . .my. . . .god."

Ayato: "Subaru's wearing pink! Subaru's wearing pink!!"

Yui: "Are we not sure that's not a white shirt that's been bloodied in a motorcycle crash?"

Yuma who's here to hang out with Shuu after they became friends again: "Or maybe that wasn't him." *Looks at Subaru's older brothers* "Does he have an identical twin brother?"

Kanato: "If Subaru had a twin, he would have eaten him in the womb."

Kino: "Wait, hold it. Why did none of you tease him about it?"

Ayato: "It's Subaru. He's scary."

Kino: "You guys are unbelievable. I once wore a tie with a splash of purple, and y'all (minus Yui) called me 'Mr. Grapes' for two years!"

*Everyone (again, minus Yui) laughs*

Kanato: "OH! 'Mr. Grapes', I forgot about him!"

Kino: "If I had worn a pink shirt, you guys would have torn me to shreds!"

Ayato: "Yeah, but you would have looked like a My Little Pony with fangs."

Yuma: "Let me guess, your theater is putting on a production of Grease, and you're playing a pink lady."

*Nearly everyone laughs when Subaru walks in*

Subaru: "What are you guys laughing at?"

Ayato: "If Kino was wearing a pink shirt."

Subaru with a smirk: "I get it. It's hilarious."

Kino: "WHAT IS HAPPENING?! Subaru is the one wearing pink!"

Subaru with a murderous glint in his eyes: ". . . .and?"

A very scared Kino: ". . . .it's gorgeous. I wish I can pull it off."

Subaru: "Dream on, Strawberry Shortcake."

Ayato: "Yeah, nice try 'Mr. Grapes'!"

*AN: Please don't bully a guy for wearing a pink shirt.

Diabolik lovers beach day headcanons (ﾟ∇^*)

•Reiji did NOT want to go, but Yui and the triplets annoyed him until he relented (he also knew the Mukamis would be there, and wanted to see his bf)

•Yuma and Ayato were the only one that actually went into the water

•Well, Yui also went, but only to where she could stand. Then she just stands there with her unicorn float and a virgin Margarita like: „this is so much fun :D“

•Ruki and Reiji are just sitting next to each other under an umbrella, reading, drinking cocktails and ignoring everyones bullshit

•Laito is getting bitches

•Shu fell asleep, so the triplets and Yuma tried to throw him into the water, but he did a 180 on them, and threw them in instead

•Azusa is walking along the shore and looking for jellyfish. Shu is with him, since the triplets wouldn’t leave him alone

•Azusa: „did you know that jellyfish (crazy fact about jellyfish)?“

Shu:

•Kanato is eating his 48th ice cream, with an excessive amount of sun protection: 2 umbrellas, 5 layers of sunscreen, the biggest sun hat you‘ve ever seen and THICC sunglasses

•He also gave Teddy the cutest swim shorts ever (English isn‘t my first language :/)

• @diabolikpersonals (check out their blog if you like diabolik lovers) drew a meme about Ruki burying Ayato, so that just happened. I don‘t make the rules

•Eventually the Tsukinamis show up. Carla joins Reiji and Ruki, and Shin immediately does a cannonball into the water, fully clothed

•Kino actually showed up at the same time as the Tsukinamis, but waited in his car for half an hour after they arrive, since he didn‘t want to be overshadowed by them

•When he arrives however, Him, Ayato, Yuma and Shin immediately do swim races

•Kou is DETERMINED to spend the whole day with Subaru. Poor guy just wants to chill, but every five seconds:

„Subaru, do you wanna go swim with me?“

„Subaru, du you wanna take a walk along the beach together?“

„Subaru, do you wanna get a cocktail with me?“

„Subaru, do you wanna play beach volleyball together?“

•Speaking of beach volleyball, Shin, Kino, Ayato and Yuma are doing that to. They had to separate Yuma and Ayato tho, or it wouldn‘t have been fair.

•At the end, with the combined forces of Yuma, the triplets, Shin, Kino and Yui they managed to get Shu wet. And died after

Shumori chapter 4

TW: Diabolik Lovers, mental illness, panic/anxiety attack, SOMETHING

It seemed like Shu had barely closed his eyes when he had to open them again because of something out of a deja vu.

Reiji with the pot and ladle. For someone who was proud of his supposed maturity he sure liked to use children's tricks.

He was pretty sure this had happened before, exactly like this.

He proceeded to act the same as last time, until Reiji left to battle the others to get up. Shu looked around; the mansion looked very similar to its usual state, but something was off.

Who cares. If the time had come for it to crumble down today it couldn't be avoided, either way.

He walked around the living room, waiting for something to happen. A chandelier on the roof was suddenly making a lot of noise and apparently it wasn't a school day, but their father had informed Reiji via familiar they were supposed to go on a field trip and have a picnic.

What the fuck. Why the fuck.

The urge to climb onto the couch again was proportional to the one of having brunch with his brothers, but in the opposite direction.

There was something that kept him from going back to sleep though.

He hadn't forgotten the person he'd met at school. Edgar. He could try and sneak out of their lunch date to see him, a bit like during his childhood. He had to see him again.

Laito Sakamaki didn't want to get up either, but 5 more minutes dozing off beneath the green weighted blanket couldn't be achieved with the yelling he heard next door.

He had barely opened his still tired eyes; it was too early to yell, let alone doing something to be yelled at, but here they were.

-Kanato, please refrain from being ridiculous and wash your teeth even if the flavor doesn't suit your childish taste!

-Reiji, you don't understand! I can't just put this disgusting thing in my mouth and smell like it for hours!

Sometimes Laito wondered where humans had gotten the idea of vampires being the coolest creatures from.

Either way, hadn't this happened before..? Didn't they have this exact argument before some guys tried to obliterate them? He remembered they had even installed a new toothpaste, and that it tasted too sweet.

...Oh no! ... Was this a time regression? He hoped he hadn't died in that attack, and that this wasn't like that story about the time looper girl who constantly got murdered horribly by the end of a month in a small town and re-spawned at the beginning of the same month again, it was the last thing he needed!

He had done nothing to earn that torment! Sure, he hadn't been an angel, in fact, he could be pretty cruel. Alright, he might as well have earned it.

Sometimes he didn't know how to stop. And the rage about the fact there were people who hadn't been shattered as he'd been was too strong.

And since the time looper in the story was a really nice, cute person with heroic intentions, what could await him if this was the case?

He began to panic. It doesn't matter if he'd earned it, he still didn't want it! He needed to calm down and think of something, but he couldn't, his tainted world started to spin around counter clockwise and he reached into the closet to grab on to something, but his hand slipped and the door opened, throwing him onto the floor as a shadow with teeth and eyes in odd places came out of it.

He screamed for Ayato to help him.

-Why Ayato? -The last place that worked in his brain asked.

There was no answer.

He lay on his room's floor face up, paralyzed as the shadow creature stared down at him and expanded its tendrils, aimed at his neck...

-Oi, what the hell are you doing lying on the floor, screaming in your leopard underwear? Is this some kind of new fetish?

Ayato had opened the door; he seemed not to have seen the shadow.

Laito felt slightly embarrassed. Had he imagined that shadow? Must have been his mind, right? He quickly put on a recovered face, since the danger seemed to have passed.

-Oh Ayato! Would you know a fetish if it stared you on the face? -he laughed and Ayato got irritated- I'm glad you came to help me, but I think I might have just had a misunderstanding with my closet. -he smiled and grabbed the 1st clothes his hand found to put on.

Ayato lifted an eyebrow.

-Fine. -Ayato slammed Laito's door and protested about some kind of picnic their father had planned for that day to Reiji and Shu as if it was their fault.

Everything was okay, this was not a time loop situation. That shadow thing was concerning, but maybe it was nothing.

And a picnic didn't sound so bad, he'd just forget about the shadow and try to have fun. Hadn't that always worked, one way or another?

Maybe he'd try to spook somebody so he wasn't the only one to deal with that type of shame... maybe he wasn't in a time loop, but he was indeed in some other kind. Best not to think of it.

Shu got slightly motivated to stay at the picnic when he heard the menu included steak and that this would count as their monthly lunch as a family. It was still a very strange day.

Was he seriously hoping the strange vampires from the day before would try to wreck their car again? Didn't matter, he had eternity to see him. But he still wanted it to be as soon as possible, even if he had no plans for when they actually met.

In the meantime, Laito was telling some stupid ghost story to Yui about their picnic location, yet only Reiji seemed to be afraid; he tried to dissimulate, but he couldn't fool Shu. It was almost funny but he'd much rather have silence.

Yui didn't seem to get neither the story nor what was creepy about it. What a simple woman. It was for the best, though, he'd let Subaru argue with the other guy to shut him up and spare them the bad horror writing on Laito's end.

When they finally arrived, a bright forest clearing with a sky full of stars revealed itself. It was a beautiful place. Dream-like, in fact.

The human world had never looked like this, that he remembered. It wasn't spring but it was full of red flowers that were sometimes called the flowers from hell.

It almost felt disrespectful that a bunch of vampires and a poor hostage girl were going to have "brunch" here.

They had barely finished eating when, out of the blue, a huge monster truck driven by some huge guy arrived at the place in a racket. What a drag.

Or so Shu thought until he had a better look at the driver. He understood now. He really was dreaming, this was too absurd to be true, but he would have preferred his brothers to stay out of it. He was sure the field would go ablaze any minute, consume both him and Edgar, and he'd wake up sweating again. It'd be over soon.

But it didn't. They were trying to figure out how to turn off the monster truck and the one with the beret asked the big one, he called him Yuma, if he'd ever driven before.

Apparently it was his first try behind the wheel. The guy from his history class, a blond guy in clothes that normally only idols on TV would wear, "Yuma"? And a smaller guy full of bandages who wielded a knife unloaded the vehicle and approached them somewhat menacingly despite all of them seeming to be dizzy.

It was the first time Shu heard them talk. Yuma seemed to not have changed too much from the way he spoke as Edgar, but he noticed a bit of a bitter tone that wasn't there before. It made sense; nobody who had a good life would willingly be turned into a vampire, would they?

He stared at Yuma/Edgar. Who was he, then? He was confused. If this was a dream, could he maybe approach him, and talk to him without any consequences in real life?

He'd try taking a step...

Yuma thought this day was weird as fuck. It didn't feel real. When had Karl given him and his brothers the monster truck? Either way, best not to question it too much, or he might take it back and he was eager to see what he could do with it.

But when they arrived where they were led, the Sakamakis were having a picnic. He must be dreaming. Did his brain rot so hardcore because of meeting those guys, that he was now featuring them in his own damn dream, if that's what it was? Jeez.

And there was the blond guy again, looking straight at him. Even if Karl had told them to have some kind of showdown here, it was 6 pure blood vampires against 4 of them, there's no way they could just kidnap the girl, right?

-Edgar... -Shu said, stepping forward, when suddenly, the guy from history class took out some sort of spell book and said something that sent all of them except Yui flying in a circle at least 400m.

Yuma was out of it while Ruki kept muttering gibberish.

Kou and Azusa ran and grabbed Eve by her arms and legs and hauled her into the car while Ruki sweated his forehead off yelling more gibberish.

Yuma snapped out of it, locked the car and tied Yui onto the seat.

Shu tried giving chase but a wall of fire was suddenly inching his way fast; he tried running from it but the grass was too tall and thick, it was going to swallow him when-

He was back at the couch in the living room. No Reiji with a ladle, no toothpaste argument, no nothing.

Yui seemed to be her room, awake, but in the mansion. It was still the middle of the day, and it was quiet. Maybe he'd best go for a stroll instead of going back to sleep. He'd gotten used to the sun at some point, after all.

He opened the main door and went to the rose garden.

Yuma seemed to have been waiting for him.

Btw, spellcaster Ruki refused to get out of my head, hopefully it makes some type of sense lol

Author Note: This is another Halloween Drama CD especially for the spooky season, except this one is a little more fun rather than spooky. Like always with these group dramas, there is no audio available. But, I hope you enjoy it all the same!! I'd love to hear feedback/thoughts on this, since it's been a while since I focused solely on Drama CDs!

― The scene begins in the Sakamaki manor. ―

Subaru: Where’d the hell that girl go?

Heh, you hidin’ on me? Fine, I’ll play ball, just this once… Tonight’s all about spooks, so what’s a little hide and seek?

Kanato: Cut it out. You’re being awfully noisy.

Subaru: Hah?

Kanato: Don’t act like you didn’t hear me, please. I hate repeating myself… Even Teddy says you are making a ruckus.

Subaru: Whatever… Don’t blame me for it. I wouldn’t be havin’ to make a sound if that woman would hurry up and show herself.

…Oi, reckon you have any idea where she wound up?

Kanato: That annoying person? It seems she decided to shut herself in her room.

Subaru: Just in here? I should’ve known.

― He tries the door. ―

Huh?

Fuck… The hell did you go locking the door on me for!? Not like there’s anythin’ to barge in on, you know!

― Footsteps approach. ―

Ryuuto: Have you considered she might be avoiding the likes of you for a change?

Subaru: Haah!? Ryuuto…?

Looks like Halloween came early...

Ryuuto: Mutter under your breath all you’d like. You’re simply putting your immaturity on full display, like a peacock showing off its feathers.

If she is avoiding you… Well, I – for one – think it is about time some sense was knocked into her. You can be nothing but a bad influence on her.

Subaru: Bastard… You’re one to talk!

Kanato: Who was it that let you in to our house, Ryuuto? I thought this place was off limits to your side of the family?

Ryuuto: I let myself in.

Besides, you must be mistaken if you think a verbal warning is enough to scare me off. Pitch a sign outside in protest, next time, fufu.

Kanato: …Hehe, maybe you’re right, Teddy. Maybe pitching his head on a spike, instead, would make a better solution.

Subaru: It’d make for a much better Halloween decoration, that’s for sure.

― Subaru and Kanato laugh amongst themselves. ―

Ryuuto: Har. Har. How very funny.

Anyhow, please clear off, won’t you? I am here for that person, alone, and would rather not have my evening ruined by the “Sakamaki babies”*.

　　*The Japanese here would ideally be “―逆巻のねんね”; Not only is Ryuuto calling them childish and immature, but he is also using baby-talk whilst doing so to be condescending lol.

Kanato: What did you call me!? A “baby”…!?

Subaru: You say that shit again, and this place’ll soon be a real haunted house!!

Ryuuto: Oh dear, what a foul mood you are both in all of a sudden. It would appear you babies are teething*, too. Fufufu.

　　*Again, Ryuuto is being condescending as they’re younger than him, about to throw a tantrum, and – as all the Diaboys like to bare their teeth/threaten to bite when angry – teething is a play on them being “babies” as well as Vampires lol.

Subaru: You piece of…!

― Suddenly the door opens, with you rushing out to stop the fight! ―

Ryuuto: “Stop”? Fufu, you think I am frightened by―― Gaah!?

Subaru: Th-The fuck!? Gh-Ghost!?

Kanato: Waah!?

― You question what’s wrong. ―

Ryuuto: …!? It’s just you!?

― You apologise. ―

Subaru: “Thought you were a ghost”? F-Fuck off, I wasn’t spooked…

Ryuuto: You can’t expect us to not be startled, when you come walking out unannounced covered in something so strange.

Kanato: E-Eh? You mean…

It’s just that person, under that… that ectoplasm?

― You laugh and explain. ―

“A face mask” is what all that slime on your face is? How is putting something that looks so disgusting all over your face relaxing?

Ryuuto: They aren’t uncommon when it comes to skincare; Women tend to love the moisture and glow they give the face, after all.

Aren’t you supposed to have cucumbers to go along with this too?

Kanato: Like those over there you mean? Like a spa treatment…

Subaru: Pah… Since when did you care about “skincare”, anyway?

Ryuuto: Don’t sound so revolted, Subaru. I’m sure you could learn a thing or two about taking care of yourself from this woman.

Subaru: What’s that supposed to mean!?

― You ask them to calm down. ―

Kanato: …Sniff, sniff. Smells of… honey?

― You explain it’s a homemade face mask. ―

Kanato: It’s “homemade”? From fresh ingredient we had lying around in the kitchen?

Hey, is this really just an excuse to make yourself into a ready-to-eat meal for me? Hehe, you smell too good to not eat.

Subaru: Honey? You mean…

― Kanato licks your face. ―

Kanato: Mm… and strawberries.

Ryuuto: What do you think you’re doing? Don’t be so inconsiderate.

― You thank Ryuuto. ―

You think I was telling him off for your sake? Fufu, not at all… It’s simply disgusting to see what belongs to you be eaten up by someone else.

Subaru: Guess you’re not gonna like this then?

― Subaru also licks your face. ―

…You weren’t kiddin’, huh? It’s really strawberry, and all that stuff.

― You insist they stop! ―

Ryuuto: Exactly, face masks aren’t for eating.

Subaru: Maybe not. But, she is.

Kanato: I wouldn’t mind another taste, please.

Ryuuto: Tut.

You there, they’re going to make their stomachs sore, if you keep enticing them like this. Then this “Halloween” you have been so eager for will be ruined.

― You come up with an idea. ―
