That night brought a storm, common for early spring in Rivia, but ferocious. Meve lay between her steadfast count and her wayward duke, kept awake by the wind and the occasional crash of thunder. Attempting to block out the sounds of the storm, she shifted closer to Reynard and pressed her ear against his chest, covering her other ear with her hand. He was sleeping soundly, despite the storm, and Meve focused on the slow thump of his heart. The steady rhythm had almost lulled her to sleep when Gascon twitched in his sleep, his knee hitting the back of her thigh.

 She twisted around to face him. A flash of lightning lit up the strained expression pulling at his features. His brow was furrowed, his teeth clenched as his lips moved soundlessly. Gascon’s limbs jerked again and his breathing turned fast and shallow.

 Meve pulled him towards her and murmured comfort. His shoulders were tense beneath her hand as she rubbed his back. Behind her, she felt Reynard shift, his arm winding around her waist. As the storm moved off and the sounds of thunder grew distant, Gascon relaxed into her arms. His breathing slowed and Meve felt her own nervousness lessen in turn. Her eyelids grew heavy.

 Soothed by the warmth of the bodies on either side of her, Meve closed her eyes. She could no longer hear the storm. Instead she just heard breathing; two separate patterns of inhales and exhales. For a brief moment, they matched. The same steady tempo. Meve added her own breath to this harmony as she drifted off to sleep.

I reread my reynard/roche fic last night and went wahhhhh I love the thronebreaker trio I miss you thronebreaker trio

Had a dream where CDPR actually made a Thronebreaker modern(???) AU movie. The trio was wearing army fatigues and sunglasses. They marched up to a campfire with two guys (who were either Witchers or random bandits) and Meve bullied them while Reynard and Gascon like kicked their cookware around and messed with them in other ways.

There was also a part where they were at a really fancy party, Meve had an advisor (actress was Indian-American, and I could swear I've seen her in something like The Boys before, super gorgeous, shoulder length hair) and the advisor was definitely a mage and other people could see through her mouth in a really creepy way. It came to a fight and the advisor fought with an emerald dagger and an emerald buckler which was emanating a larger forcefield.

Found some Thronebreaker stuff (that I never even bothered to scan before) when I was cleaning my home office today. I’m pretty positive these were all made in 2018. The top left one was actually the first Gascon I ever drew. I shared the trio one before but only in the sketched form.

I just like the cocky asshole and well put together knight. I think that they work so well together. In the first scene they are tasked to actually work together? Oh my *chefs kiss* Love what the two have going on. Also that one scene in Mahakam where Gascon grabs Meve. And how the two of them play gwent. It's so obvious they become good friends and hhhhh just I enjoy them together.

As for fanon I've only ever read like handful of fics focused on specificaly the two of them. But I enjoyed like everyone I did. Thronebreaker fandom my beloved knows their boys well. (I admire you all you funky little writers)

Oh shit the thronebreaker trio lesgo.

Meve is a partner in a corporate law firm that deals with Fortune 500 companies and the likes. Her paralegal and secretary Reynard has been with her for the past 10 years, and they're moderately content until dirtbag Henselt decides to come along and blackmail Meve with material about her ex-husband.

Thankfully cyber hacker Gascon drops into their lives and together, they manage to infiltrate Henselt's firewalls and destroy the information. In the meantime they also find information about Henselt doing shady business and he gets kicked out from the firm.

The three of them celebrate with a fuck. The end.

Keira is just standing at the door trying very hard to be brave, when Lambert stalks up to her with a very serious face and goes, "Hello. We are friends now because I am alone and you are alone and we can now be alone together." They explore the classroom and Lambert acts like a grumpy 70 year old man but Keira doesn't mind.

During class she's sat next to Aiden who immediately is like HI HELLO LET'S BE FRIENDS and of course they do before who can resist a sunshine human. Lunch time comes along and the three of them play catch till they're exhausted and then naP TOGETHER UNDER A TREE AND THEN DURING LUNCH LAMBERT PEELS THE CRUST OFF KEIRA'S SANDWICH BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T LIKE IT AND AIDEN HIDES IT IN THE POTTED PLANT SO THEY DON'T GET INTRO TROUBLE FOR NOT FINISHING THEIR FOOD.
