Seonho isn't a frequent attender of parties. More often than not, at this time of night, he's the one picking up people his age who have more freedom to spend their time being a little more indulgent. Even now, on a night where he had taken an Uber rather than driven his car as a driver, Seonho is leisurely still sipping on his second beer in just as many hours. Being drunk isn't the objective for him tonight. He just wants to let loose a little bit since his siblings are at sleepovers, and he had only come at the behest of Ophelia, who is always insisting that he needs to get out more. When really he would prefer that it just be the two of him at his place.

The two of them aren't separated for long, and Seonho chooses to seek her out once he has built up the nerve to ask her to come home with him. He thinks that it's an offer that should be met favorably considering they have been hooking up for awhile, and Ophelia never seems to mind when he makes her breakfast in the morning. They're friends, and have been for a long time. So he should have known that what was brewing between them would boil over eventually, left standing dumbstruck in the hallway when he finds her locking lips with another man. His eyes tear away from her, falling down to the ground and his stomach sinking. He attempts to wander away unnoticed.

Ophelia had been napping when she got the messages, but was soon stirred awake by one buzz after another. She yawned and rubbed the sleep out from her eye— but all it really took to wake her up was to see who messaged her. <- She giggled and squealed and kicked her feet!!!

"olivia's pregnant again and the father of this one isn't chiming in, either." she furrowed her brow as she thought about her sister that had a one year old and now she was pregnant with her second. the father of cassie had alread gone back to his family, leaving olivia to take care of everything on her own. now this next guy was just as much of a piece of shit. "i feel like i need to step in and help a lot more. she can't do this on her own." she climbed into her girlfriend's lap and curled her arms around their neck. "you have an okay day, baby?"

It took Percy a moment longer than it really should have to realize that even as he held his hands up as a gesture of peace towards the woman, he was still holding his sword. Nothing says "I'm not here to hurt you," like brandishing celestial bronze at someone! He flinched once the realization hit him and lowered his weapon, drawing the pen cap from his pocket and shrinking the sword. Only once it was away did he dare to take a cautious step towards the woman - the demigod, if he wasn't mistaken - with a crooked grin.

"I'm Percy Jackson," he replied, offering his hand. "Son of Poseidon - a demigod like you. And also your savior, apparently. You're welcome for that, by the way. Sorry if I scared you, though. I know some guy waving around a sword and fighting off a monster was probably not on your bingo card for today today."

Ophelia sat on the ground, leaning against the brick of a random building as silent tears streamed down her face. “Of course I fucking fall in the midst of an earthquake and get hit with broken glass… of course.”

"If we move in together then we both won't have to worry about anything. It's safer for us both. So just move in with me." He was attempting to ASK her things. To be practical, at least for a little while. Otherwise, then it was just going to lock her into his room and tie her to the bed until she stated that she was going to move in with him.

Mitama laughs, raising her arm to hide it behind her sleeve. It has been enough time that she forgot how endearing it was to hear Ophelia talk of fate as if it was not a horrid burden. "I can only imagine what machinations the fates might weave to transpire tonight to push your star even higher into the sky."

Mitama lowers her arm, humming thoughtfully to herself. She spins the glass by its stem and watches how the movement causes the drink to bubble and hiss. "My night has certainly been..." filled with things she would rather avoid. "eventful thus far. I would not say no to a little more peace."

She takes a sip of the drink and only wrinkles her nose a little when it fizzes under her nose. She takes her friend's brooch and takes a second to admire it (so that Ophelia does not assume she does not appreciate it's splendor) before tucking it away. "Well, why must you part from it so soon, then?"

Mitama hooks an arm around Ophelia's and giggles. "Fate need learn patience / for I am claiming up time / a dance, if you will? After the drinks, of course."

Stopping by the Harmony Ranch to explore the small market of fresh produce, Kennedy's eyes traveled to the corn maze set up. It would've been fun to see if she made it out in record time, so she put her plans on hold and headed into the maze. It shouldn't have been that long after all. Well, that's what she originally thought, but she felt like she'd been in there a while after taking a few turns. Coming to another crossroads, she let out a quiet sigh. As she'd debated which way to go, she heard the steps of another, turning slightly. "About time I run into someone else," she gave the woman a bright smile. "Not to be dramatic but I was beginning to think I was the only one here."

ophelia couldn't stop the smile from growing across her features when her girlfriend told her how much they loved her. "i love you more, baby," she murmured and pulled her hair back before leaning in for another kiss. "baby! you have to remember to eat!" lia laughed and nudged casey's shoulder, "but i will order us some pizza and we can have a bed picnic? if that sounds good? snacks and pizza and drinks and everything...maybe even a little fooling around after." lia wiggled her eyebrows at casey before tossing her head back and laughing.

she grabbed her phone and started making their order while she pulled out their favourite snacks and drinks. "go set this stuff all up on the bed and i'll be in there as soon as the pizza's here, okay?" she murmured and leaned in for another desperate, lingering kiss that left her absolutely breathless. she grinned at her girlfriend and turned back to her phon before she finished off her wine.
