i've decided my girl yuuna is gonna get some magical/trauma-related hair changes as her story goes on. i'm not totally sure when to this happens or if it's like a little bit after each overblot until this is what she'll look like by book 7. but i wanted her design to be a little more fun rather than rooted in reality and i love the idea of her changing physically and not just emotionally while stuck in twisted wonderland

it's not his first time on the front lines or seeing the aftermath of a TD attack. he hates to admit it, but a small part of him has grown USED to seeing the wastelands while on patrol. still no amount of training could prepare him for the effects of the retroact rains. seeing the phantom illusions and hearing everything so VIVIDLY was enough to make a brief memory flash through his head. was she TRAPPED in one of these too? or more importantly why couldn't it have been HIM? before he could fall deeper into his memories, her voice pulled him back to the present. reminding him there was still a mission to complete. ".. sorry-- i wasn't expecting all of .." he paused for a moment, STRUGGLING to come up with a word that could fit the emotions felt. but falls short and opts for something simple. For Poppy (@justm3di0cr3), her cookies are wrapped in a brown box, with red and white checkered fabric decorating each side (to make it resemble a picnic basket). Inside the box was a gingerbead version of herself and Epel, along with a sugar cookie Isabelle (@midnightmah07's OC). Other sugar cookies in the box include: a apple, a picnic basket, a apple tree, a stuffed animal, and a rose.

Each box comes with a Christmas card and some hot chocolate, along with a picture Cater took while Trey and Lydia were unaware. The picture was of the two of them in the kitchen, powdered sugar covering their faces and clothes. They were mid-laugh, their faces inches apart. In the background was a counter holding various ingredients and cookie cutters, a mixing bowl filled with cookie dough off to the side. Happy Holidays! was written in the corner of the picture, Trey and Lydia signing their names on the back of it.

While most of the cookies were gifted to friends, they made more than enough for everyone, offering the extras to anyone who wanted some.

Of the gingerbread men, there was Ace, Deuce (with a cauldron sugar cookie), Cater (with a phone sugar cookie), Trey (who Lydia gave a toothbrush sugar cookie to as a joke), Riddle (with a hedgehog sugar cookie), Leona, Ruggie (with a thaumark sugar cookie), Jack, Azul (with a contract sugar cookie), Floyd, Jade (with a mushroom sugar cookie), Kalim (with a magic carpet sugar cookie), Jamil, Vil, Rook (with a bow and arrow sugar cookie), Epel (with a apple sugar cookie), Idia (with a sugar cookie of his tablet), Ortho, Malleus, Lilia (with a bat sugar cookie), Silver (with a sword sugar cookie), and Sebek (with a lightning bolt sugar cookie).

There were even gingerbread men of those that didn't attend Night Raven, such a Che'nya, Neige, Najma, Rollo, and Ernesto (with a sugar cookie Gino).

     WHAT THE HELL WAS a Valentine’s Day? He dug about his brain for what knowledge the Throne might have granted him for this era, but nothing really came to mind. Whatever it was, he supposed that wasn’t deemed important enough to put in his head. ❝Is that some kinda holiday?❞ Then again, he did see a couple of people walking around with little boxes or small bags in their hand, but opted to just not pay it much attention. Other than that, nothing really seemed out of the ordinary…at least until Yuuna filled him in on everything that is. Coming to a stop just as she did, he blinked, looking down at his Master with a quirked brow. ❝Huh? Why are we stoppin’?❞ It was too bright for any demon activity right now, and considering this place was pretty close to where Yuuna lived, doubtful any would even think of setting foot in a place where they could potentially die.

     There were a great deal of questions on his mind – like what was ice cream? What was even Valentine’s Day still? Why was his Master so giddy? The list could go on and on. Hand taken into hers, he allowed Yuuna to steer him over to the café, head bowing low to avoid crashing through the doorframe like a bull (that wouldn’t go well---). ❝Are you going to explain all this stuff to me while we eat whatever this ice cream is?❞ Ice had cream? What? His head was spinning right now. No idea how that even worked, but it better taste good---!

Asks are a great way to start a thread with me but I also give short answers, depending on the ask. I do love long threads that are slowly developing the relationship between the characters. Along with Tumblr, I also roleplay on Discord (both long and short things).

I don't have a steady schedule but if I have many threads going with many different people, I make one and then I usually use a queue too. At times, I'm slow because I have busy seasons at work or other real-life situations going on. I try to reply within a week but sometimes I can't. Sometimes I might reply almost instantly if I happen to have free time.

Shipping isn't actually the main point of my RPs. For Yuriko's canon story, her ship with Ruki is one of the main points though and Rukiko RP with @ruki-mukami-dl is definitely my biggest and longest RP. I also have YuuNa ship with @nalia-wagner-rp on Yuuto's blog and Yuuto is exclusive with Nalia. And outside my current ships, I actually rather RP friendships, family stuff, or other dynamics.

Smut

Overall Opinion: i enjoy the behind the scenes and less glamourous take on the idol muses ouo. her blog is forever tba apparently, but that leaves so much to explore since i just have to talk about an idea a few times and then suddenly we're considering a new plot. all according to keikaku ψ( ` ∇ ´ )ψ

some disorganised thoughts on Where the Wolfsbane Blooms because i wrote a lot and had a bunch of ideas

good news: miki isnt dead because i would not kill off a main character like that, and his psiionics aren't completely burnt out, he just overclocked them. im planning on writing a follow-up drabble to this to explain exactly what's happened and how he's feeling about it all, but yeah. ice boy will still be ice boy-ing

this bitch was fucking Long and went through multiple edits to cut it down, but i only cut a single scene from it. at the end i had initially written miki thinking about lyvere as well as thrixe, but as much as i did like him having the realisation that 'oh theres someone else i want to come home to as well' i ultimately felt like it was taking away from the main objective of Bring Thrixe Home so i had to scrap it. sorry lyvere, miki is still lowkey down bad for you tho

the use of psiionic stimulants was a call-back to the thread in which miki and thrixe first fought some fae, and thrixe had offered some to miki which he vehemently refused because he knew how dangerous it'd be for him when his psiionics are so unstable. so him willingly using them and going over the suggested dosage was both a sign that A. this situation was dire, and B. miki was more than willing to kill himself and everyone around him if it meant saving his moirail. safety would not bring him home, after all.

i was inspired by ullane's fights with the fae in In Cold Blood to make miki's fight against the royal knight to be a lot more gross and visceral, and i had a little chuckle when ullane speared the fae with tree roots in As Mayflies because id written miki doing the exact same technique with his ice spikes and cloud and i hadnt planned that at all. our deranged trolls are on the same wavelength

other inspirations for the royal knight fight: dungeon meshi (the scene where laios deliberately gets his leg caught in the red dragon's jaws so he was in position to slash its weak point), yuki yuuna (karin's last stand), and... the biolizard fight from sonic adventure 2. originally i was going to use a lyric from supporting me as the title, but then Werewolf Gimmick came on shuffle when i was driving home from work one night and it hit me that it worked way better. and for the follow-up drabble i can use another mountain goats lyric to keep the theme!

idk what disease the royal knight was meant to represent either. i thought of it being covered in boiling hot acid because then there'd be more of a challenge for miki to take it down, and i really loved how julie raur described godzilla in this essay about the responses to the atomic bomb in japanese pop culture and art. so maybe it represents radiation sickness or compilations involving nuclear weaponry, but before i read that essay i was joking to myself that it was an acid reflux fae

originally the fae was also going to be Full Of Acid inside and miki biting it's tail was going to be a lot more painful for him, but then it hit me that if it also has the same boiling acid inside it then miki's plan to freeze it from the inside-out would not work. i also struggled to figure out how to get miki off the knight's back cuz i knew i wanted him to try to go shadow of the colossus on that thing but also get flung off and break his arm, and i'd already gotten him wrapped up by the nautilus fae and i did not want to do the same thing twice (granted it still tried to choke him out but ig that isnt as egregious). but then cloud reminded me that the fae can use magic and was like OHHHH DUH ok woe. binding spell be upon ye

also this drabble hit my favourite trope of a character who has every intention of dying in battle and spending most of their life feeling apathetic to their own well-being realising in their final moments that they actually want to live. these three sentences are my absolute favourite ones in the entire drabble:

THE REJUVENATION CAST IF THEY HAD SHONEN SUPER POWERS

TSUKIKO: Can create projectiles that can pass through solid objects, as well as lock onto a target. The more projectiles created/bigger the projectile, the more energy is required to use their power.

NAKAMI: When trying to find a specific answer to something, his power will automatically point him to any relevant pieces of evidence. However, actually getting the answer will take his own analytical skills.

SAORI: Can create a physical manifestation of any person to fight for her, so long as Saori was the one to kill them. The super power they wield is dependent on what they had while still alive. 

NOBORU: Has a "berserker mode", which drastically increases the strength of his magical capabilities. However, the longer he stays in this form, the more likely it is he'll become a mindless beast.

KOTO: Has the ability to create miniature “sound bubbles”, which are able to mimic any sound Koto's memorized. The bubbles can be manipulated to have as many sounds as he wants.

HARUTO: Creates a pocket dimension where what’s described by Haruto becomes reality, depending on how descriptive he is. Organic material brought into this dimension cannot be altered. 

ICHIKA: Can manipulate any target into expressing the emotion she chooses, ranging anywhere to happiness to a full-on breakdown. The longer the emotion is forced onto someone, the more power is required.

CHIE: Can shift the interior and exterior structure of any piece of architecture, but requires full knowledge of the structural layout to use it properly.

YUUNA: By touching a photograph of a person, Yuuna's able to shapeshift into them. Doing so to someone with a super power will allow her to gain access to it, but will only retain her form for a limited time. The same person also can't be copied two times in a row.

MISAO: If Misao's in harm, her body will automatically change its properties to make it invincible to whatever's perceived as a threat. However, any threat that would affect her mental cognition, such as mind control or possession, can't be stopped.

BENJIRO: Through any method of writing, Benji's capable of altering reality if he wants to. However, the larger the change, the greater harm's done to his health to balance things out.

ASAMI: Has the ability to produce thread from her body, which she can imbed with specific properties when summoning it, a la "Scribblenauts". Any clothing created with the thread can also be altered, with how much of it being used determining her control over it.

NORIKO: When touching someone, Noriko will involuntarily get a vision of them in a future situation, and just how they react to it. If she touches two people at the same time, she's able to see how successful their relationship (romantic or otherwise) is with each other instead.

YUTAKA: Whatever movements are made by Yutaka will automatically be mirrored by his victim, so long as he gets direct eye contact first. Whether he simply controls their movements or their entire consciousness is dependent on how concentrated Yutaka is.

RYOU: By using his tai chi, Ryou can place whatever person he's targeting into a mellowed state, which allows him to dictate their every action. However, the power only works if Ryou is in a peaceful state of mind.

HIBIKI: Can physically reach through someone's body, allowing him to grab onto various internal parts of it. Also has the ability to remove parts without harming his victim, but doing so requires exact knowledge of the functions of what he's removing.

Jujutsu Kaisen is finishing in 5 more chapters. I remember picking it up somewhere around chapter 30~40 because of Nobara despite not being too much into exorcist series, no matter how much the japanese kids/editors at shonen jump love them.

I started reading manga when Luffy was going to Impel Down. When was that even? 15 years ago? Less? More? I read chapter 1 of BNHA and I liked it. Not so much the rest, but oh well.

So many series that were monthly and they ended despite seeming eternal. Jojo part 8 from start to end. Dungeon Meshi from the early chapters, not quite from the very start. Even Shingeki no Kyojin which I remember from the 4chan screencaps looking at the terrible art and thinking that at least the story looked interesting. Houseki no Kuni ended! Can you even comprehend? Waiting months between chapters, literally no progress in years and yet waiting expectantly. I remember the first chapters of Helck. Sure let's go for some Sakamoto/Saitama style comedy, then it gets serious. Just like Yuusha ga Shinda. Kaguya-sama! Kaguya from the 4chan threads aswell, right before scanlations groups started going hard on the money making. Jitsu wa, Assassination Classroom, Beelzebub, the shitshow that was Prison School. I guess I'll mention Yuuna-san, which is a solid 5. Also Dr. Stone, Bokutachi, Fairy Tail (which I never got to finish, it's on the list). All of them arguably bad series that were pretty fun. Magi! What a series!

You know what I mean? Do you know how I feel when I think back of literally discovering some of these series by pure chance, others from threads and comments? And they either were the very first chapter, or they had a couple volumes and people were started to get hyped! Isn't that insane? And so many more to go.

Everything makes me feel old.
