“hey, sorry i’m late and didn’t text. my phone must have gotten unplugged or something last night cause it’s dead and-” is all of the apology sophie manages to get out after letting herself into juno’s place before he’s kissing her. and she’s not going to complain about a kiss, but it feels like there’s maybe something else going on. when she pulls away, she looks juno over. “everything okay?”

She wishes she could get Juno alone, even if just for a second, so she can try and get even a little more information about who this guy is or why everything is so fucking weird right now. She makes her way to the door and thinks about trying to steal a second, but she’s pretty sure it’ll make it worse and settles on just giving Juno a weird look instead. “Speaking of, how long are you visiting for?” she asks when she’s in the hallway, hoping it sounds chill and nonchalant and not fucking sketched out. “Just so I don’t get in the way of you guys catching up again.”

Sophie has no idea what the fuck is going on, but she knows it’s not good and she wants out of it as soon as possible. She might kill Juno later if this creep dude named Alaric doesn’t do it first. “You know, if he’s not here, he might be doing a make up class. He had to miss one of his labs earlier this week so I bet that’s where he is. Plus, this way you guys will get to actually hang out. It’s bad enough I’m weaseling my way into your hang out. There’s this sub shop nearby that is amazing if you don’t mind that it’s not fancy. Do you have any, like, dietary restrictions or anything, Alaric?” 

“Oh, what a shame,” he answers. But it’s for the best. Sage will lose her shit if she hears Liam was near him and he doesn’t know if she has enough spies to tell her. “I don’t, actually, and I’m always up for trying a local place. Doesn’t have to be fancy. Sub shop sound good to you, kiddo?”

“I’m twenty-two,” Juno responds, reflexively, and the slight irritation that slips into his voice almost makes this feel like a normal interaction. But then he remembers that Sophie is here, nothing is normal, everything is terrible. “But, yeah, let’s do the sub shop. You’re buying,” he tells Azazel, stepping away from him to grab his keys and lead them towards the door.

“Of course. Isn’t that half the reason people get excited for family to visit?”

She still called him through a mix of desperation, still there idol worship, general erratic unpredictable behaviour, and a subconscious wariness towards Tim who was really the only other option lmao. Also Dick immediately assumes this is all a very strange trauma response which like... He's right. That is what it is.

He didn't mind being proven wrong but he didn't believe her.

In one of the first posts for the genswap AU, you mentioned Bo and Other Sophie being in a particularly close friendship. Do they meet up and chat in the teacher's lougde or in the library? Are they going to become a couple?

yeah, I guess you could say Bo and Other Sophie are close friends :)
