It’s time to put all of your recent building experience to work toward a tried and true marvel in engineering: bridges, intended to connect all of the various islands in the archipelago. This job is a perfect workout for those itching to use their muscles, as there are tons of metal and wood to lug about. The supervisors in charge of the project, however, are a bit demanding. They drive you hard and have even begun prohibiting breaks! Will you write a formal complaint to the eccentric owner of these isles, or will you perhaps instead take matters into your own hands? [Grants Authority +1]

While not even remotely close to work shy in any sense of the word, Byleth had to admit that the current situation was less than ideal. They'd arrive for their latest mission only to be put to work under a supivisor who clearly overestimated his own value. And from what they'd heard, the other work gangs didn't have it much better.

There had been talk in the mess tent about revolt. It wasn't that Byleth didn't want to aid in the construction, it just wasn't fair to be treated this way. The snide comments, the shouting and threats. Plus the hours sucked. Even being a teacher was better than this. Had to be bad when they'd rather be marking tests and writing lesson plans.

At the end of a shift, the professor found themselves in a quiet corner of the common area. Looking around they spotted one of their fellow professors.

"Hello Sephiran. " They greeted tiredly. "How are you finding this 'gain some building experience' mission?"

Sephiran looked out of place in the tent, tired from the days work no doubt. Byleth had led a pretty physical demanding life before teaching but even this was a bit much.

"Not really" Byleth agreed "I have learnt something about 'unfair labour' and I'd love to learn more about 'workers rights'"

Possibly revolution too but they weren't going to mention that until they could gauge Sephiran's position on the matter. Their response was partly continuing the joke, partly as a though testing the waters.

"I've heard talk among others of doing something about it"
