HEY so Iâm like low key soober doober sick rn BUT
I wanna talk about my brain rot can I talk about my brain rot oh please pleas eplesoelspelapepaplpleasepla
SO I WAS ruminating on mine fuggin DP ftp AU and I was trying to come up with an antagonist that could potentially BLAST DANNYS CORE INTO 100000 LITTLE PIECES but felt kinda meh about Vlad doing that
But then I was like AH WAIT I CAN M AKE MY OWN CHARACTER.. SO I DID. But ehhhg what kind of motivation would this random ghost have for fucking up the poor ghost boy this time ahAH!
Cut to me blacking out and finding this on my iPad
OHOHOHO FUCKINNN WOUGH OK
if you look at Pariah Darkâs canon design
I thought this was a little strange⌠he doesnât really scream⌠regal? Does he? Like.. heâs got renaissance boot flaps, a postiche??, skull tits, a loincloth, and obnoxious shoulder pads. This bitch is all over the place
Uhhv I forgot my point but EVENTUALLY I concluded that he wasnât Raised the Ghost King but TOOK THE POSITION BY FORCE
Which is sick and adds a smidgeon of Nuance to his 1dimentional experience doesnât it?? He took the power from some other king or ďżźpower or even United the GZ eons ago wnbbb woah ok no thatâs cool ok wait
So eons and eons ago,, ghosts were left to drift aimlessly on earth and the GZ without guidance which caused general mayhem for both the living and the dead. It was chaos. But a ghost who had lived in that Chaos and Disorder had died with a deep Obsession with CHANGING THAT
Enter: King Lark whoâs ascension to Power was earned all post mortis. He was Obsessed with keeping Order and for a long time this aided him in his quest to unite the restless dead. BY HIS SIDE his faithful friend Thraal who handed the technical side of his rule. To help him rule Thraal made him the the crown and ring
They implemented Rules to the ghost zone that prohibited ghosts from crossing over to the mortal realms. And for a long while it was going pretty well
Except even after tightening his iron fist hold on everything in the GhostZone his core would ache to Fix the source of chaos (the continued existence of living things that would keep making more things that would also die) and so to rectify this he was all like oh yeah ok so if I kill every living thing on earth then no more problem :) WHICH IS BAD
and the ancients who were kinda pretty chill with everyone being chill in the GZ absolutely drew the line at fucking up the balance between the realms so they were like eeeehg put him in tha box. AND THEY DID
And now his friend Thraal (who over the years has been treated less like a dear friend and more like a Thrall) who had always had a sort of Obsession with following Lark (now pariah dark) like a good little sheep- has been going a little crazy waiting for Pariah to get out of his timeout box
Wait idk what Iâm talking about nm good night h

Where was Roadbuster and what was he doing during the The Rise's terror campaign and subsequent advent of the Ascenticons/Decepticons?
Dear Roadbuster Rescuer,
Roadbuster was off-planet at the time! As a member of Colonial Securityâs black ops division, heâd been seconded out to Cybertronian Intelligence long before the fall of the Senate and assigned to a deep-cover mission. Disguised as an automated Thraal assault vehicle, Roadbuster was able to covertly maneuver his way into the motor pool of a strategically important Thraal garrison on the planet Rada Morn and periodically beam information on Thraal military activity back to his handlers on Cybertron. Unfortunately, the secrecy of this assignment meant that he was almost entirely cut off from political developments on Cybertron; for all their imperial ambitions, it will likely take megacycles before the Decepticons can rebuild a functioning espionage networkâŚ

BREAKING NEWS: HUMANS REVEAL THE SECRETS OF WAR AND NEUTRALITY
After the most recent conflict in the B-412 region, a local Thraal journalist, Tan-turi was able to interview a member of the New Earth Defensive Council. This member has requested to remain anonymous. He has been given a pseudonym and will be referred to as John Doe.
Doe revealed that Human neutrality is a protocol designed by their global government, the United Nations. It deems that no human is to enter a conflict unless their residence is in imminent danger, or a New Earth colony is attacked.
Tan-turi asked why such a measure was put in place.
âWe humans have dealt with our fair share of wars,â Doe said, âThe UN decided enough was enough after we almost blew ourselves up. Weâll help, obviously, if anything too bad is happening, but we just try to be a bit more restrictive with where the line is, you know?â
The true history of Human wars is not known to most beings, and not much was revealed in this interview, but what we do know it that they tended to be long, hard wars. Some of which expanded across their entire planet. How did such large-scale wars happen?
John Doe explained that those large-scale wars are referred to as âWorld Warsâ. The reasons for them seem to vary.
âWorld War One was just a mess,â Doe said, âNot even most historians know exactly how it started or how so many people got involved, but World War Two? Caused by the first one. It really shows how wars just lead to more wars.â
He reveals that there is a high chance that this, along with many other examples, were one of the main factors in the Global Neutrality Act.
Doe states that humans still have conflicts, and quite frequently, but they have put in place measures to ensure that they will never reach the severity of their past. He continues to explain the mechanics of neutrality.
He tells us that there are many ways for it to be beneficial other than the reasons stated above.
âIf you play your cards right, you can make some real money out of it.â
Unfortunately, John Doe was unable to reveal anything else about this money making scheme.
Finally, Doe urges the Galactic Council to follow their lead, and encourages any other planets willing to âbecome Switzerlandâ.

[...] Ratchet found himself stuck in the middle of a genocidal alien war that uncomfortably mirrored Cybertron's own. Ignoring it at first, Ratchet scanned a local tank to blend in and inconspicuously set up a homing beacon in the hope of getting rescued. Finding himself with no purpose in the meantime and seeing the A'ovan faction getting slaughtered, Ratchet challenged and defeated Durguth, the local tyrant, thereby becoming the new ruler of the Thraal faction. He then ordered a ceasefire and oversaw an interim alliance, effectively bringing peace to the planet single-handed.
[ in summary, tyran ratch ended a civil war on another planet by punching a bully and asserting cultural dominance as victor because he did not like to see that and he didn't have anything else to do

Iâm at the very end of the Agent storyline now! And last night, Vector surprised me by asking Thraal to marry him and I am still so full of emotions
I had no idea this was a thing that happened and it was so sweet! This whole scene made me tear up, Vectorâs romance in general was the sweetest thing
I still have to figure out what ending Thraal is going to take and I have no clue! I actually got to the end of the last mission but I had to quit out there because we had a water line break in our house whoops
Iâll figure out her ending when I log on today akjdsfasdf

The Change In Your Nature: Part 2 (IDW2 Issue 14 Review)
Pitch: The Ascenticon Guard, Security Operations, and The Rise are caught in a three-way faceoff. Cybertron is teetering on the brink of chaos, but there is still hope for peace. And leading the way to restore that peace are the only bots that make sense: Megatron, Soundwave, and Starscream!
Review
WOW.
I'll be honest. I really liked this issue when it first came out (So much action! So many interesting things revealed! Another huge, obvious step towards war!) but then it just sort of fell off of my radar. I don't know why, but for some reason I never went back and revisited it until now. A huge mistake, because this was a great issue.
There are a lot of really interesting, fun reveals in this issue. The ones that really caught my attention were specifically around Starscream. Refraktor is working for Starscream (or at least is feeding him information). But also, Starscream is the one who kicked Soundwave out of Intelligence; something that Soundwave apparently still resents. They definitely aren't going to be friends in this continuity!
The action sequences (and there are several!) are really well choreographed, where it's fairly easy to tell what's happening. (That is something I struggle with sometimes.) And the action sequences are nicely broken up by some calmer sequences (Prowl and Nautica talking to the voin, Landmine and Geomotus doing their survey work). All in all, I think this issue worked really, really well.
Favourite Panels
When I first read this issue, I thought Road Rage was just amused at Prowl's insistence that he wasn't shouting at the voin. Now I think she's smiling because she does consider Nautica to be a charmer. :) Either way, Road Rage laughing at Prowl is something I can get behind.
Culture
Chromia mentions that the Reversionists revere titans (something from the IDW1 continuity), even when the titan is already dead. She also mentions that there haven't been any titan forgings for a very long time. Hmm.
Planet
In Nautica's discussion with the voin, she traded it some information (details about happenings on the Thraal planet), while collecting something important for the Security Forces: the voin who was killed by Quake was very important, and killing it is going to have big consequences.
On their survey, Geomotus and Landmine realize that their equipment has melted, and now there are geysers... Almost as if the planet is having convulsions. We don't have enough information on this yet, but it feels like it should be connected to Orion Pax's discussion with Codexa back in issue 6 where she mentions the harmony inside the planet is gone.
Cybertron being a living thing has been explored before, so I'm interested to see where this goes!
Physiology
When Starscream arrives on the scene, he is making a loud noise. It's not clear what is the noise (his engines, probably?) and I wonder if that's where he got his name. XD In any event, Springer says that Starscream is loud by choice: he could be quieter, but chooses not to be. Of course he's the drama queen.
Politics and History
This is probably a character note more than anything else, but Kup asks Sideswipe whether he's a post-war forging. That seems to be a milestone for a lot of mechs... Those who lived through the war (and all its horrors) and those who didn't.
Final Thoughts
Very good issue, and I'm glad that I gave it another look after all this time! There are some very good bits in it.

I have a feeling the Thraal will ally themselves with the Decepticons in the early stages of the War, only to get royally screwed over not long after. Hell, the Cons may even give them a taste of their own medicine! (The Thraal are the race who genocided the A'ovans and blew up their home planet.)
For a moment I was VERY confused and then I remembered nfkdfjf yeah probably since they're Evilâ˘

"Huh, I didnt take the thraals for the talkative type?" FakeEzra had managed to dodge Gunmar and try to speak with a thraal. Though, she was uncertain if they could talk at all. Shes only really heard grunts and growls from them, and the occasional yell but they dont normaly make sound after that. (Crap, I dont know your thraal characters-)
âRoight.â
Strewthâs angry, so his accent slips through more than usually.
âWe donât speak in battle. We let our spears speak for us. Yâknow why? Because Silence is the only answer for people who refuse to listen. Dâyou listen when preyâs scarce and humans keep dropping whelps and burning trees? Dâyou listen when the Trollhunter burns down an entire market for selling Human meat? Dâyou listen when our magics are stolen to feed a Wizardâs ego?â
Strewth spat. It took him thousands of years to learn how to spit through the mouthshield of his helmet.
â Fleshlings, Pact trolls, youâre all the same. You donât listen to us. But Gunmar does. Gunmar speaks for us. You tell me, is anything on earth louder than that?â

Dear Vector, can you tell us anything about the poor species Airchanid endagered?
Dear Horrific Hunter,
Even among the Decepticons, Airachnid was a particularly vile âbot. Although her cruelty and obsession with causing pain alienated her business-minded compatriots, they tolerated her only because she was, admittedly, an excellent tracker and assassin. Once Cybertron fell, however, she largely went her own way and spent several million years trawling the Orion Arm as a combination bounty hunter and big-game tracker.
After leaving Cybertron, she found employment on the barren world of Probat, where she worked as an enforcer for the unscrupulous Natalus in exchange for their high-grade energon. Once sheâd stockpiled enough energon cubes, she promptly decapitated her business partner and skipped the planet a month later after sheâd indulged herself by hunting down the remaining Probat. The next few planets she visited all followed the same patternâunscrupulous alien warlords who entered into a contract with Arachnid did not realize that her âpayment with interestâ was, more often than not, the livelihood of their race.Â
In this way did she dispose of the Clonemasters, whose methods of rapid asexual reproduction briefly vexed her before she hacked into their central databanks and permanently corrupted their genetic records. The Thraal were next to fall; once she deliberately exterminated the Aâovans on their behalf, she turned their primitive nuclear warheads against their own cities and spent a year hunting the survivors amidst the radioactive wreckage. The ruin-hunting Derelictuskans, the industrious Milarians, the peaceful Mikesu⌠Airachnid cut a swathe of extinction across the galaxy, and indeed I suspect that many neighboring systems who had been spared her idea of âfunâ harbored a grudge against the Cybertronian race for many years afterwards.

Ok so first off this isnât art related: itâs a character study time!
(Spoilers for IDW2 issues 12-14)
So in issue 11 we were introduced (finally) to Starscream, and it wasn't what I was expecting at all, in most depictions of pre Autobot v Decepticon war times Star and his trine were recruited by Megatron (or Soundwave depending on the continuity) into the Cons, and this was always late into the Decepticons existence and after Starscream has some fall out with the Iacon Science college or what ever its called in what ever continuity. But this time we see something completely different. While Megatron is a senator now, Starscream is the Chief of Intel under Sentinel Prime and sporting a mix of his TAAOâ s frame and G1 frame (which is interesting to say the least) and reflects what I have noticed in his character this go around. Star is obviously still a conniving little shit trying to be in control of things (as seen with Reflector and ordering him to watch the Acenticons) but he also seems to have the same side to him that he had in TAAO after merging minds with Windblade and being influenced by Bumblebeeâs ghost to be a better and more respectable person. As seen with these two instances, the first with Orion and the second with Nautica:
Of course with Orion, Starâs comment could be taken sarcastically but as we know from our favorite bird he hides behind his sarcasm constantly. With Nautica it is very clear that 1: Starscream is concerned about Brainstorm and Rubbleâs murder and the security of both his team on Sentinelâs ship and Cybertron from working with the Vorn and Thraal. And 2: He is very passionate about keeping things in his control secured and actually has friends (whether his only friend is Nautica remains to be seen)
Another important development I would like to touch on is his connection with Bumblebee. Ever since TAAO and Bumblebeeâs bonding moments with Starscream we all know they have some sort of mutual fondness for each other and their paths will always cross. Through every continuity the two are always placed as equals or their sides counterparts and always will butt heads. And whether you ship Starbee or not there is no denying the two always have been close no matter the relationship of it. In IDW2 there are of course hopes that the two will get the âhappy endingâ (because whats that when it comes to this series) either being a actual canon couple or just partners in work, what was denied when the writers decided to change their dynamic in the Unicron comics. The only time the two were shown together was in concept art of the two fighting each other, however they seem to have a history together, a very close one in fact by how Starscream reacted to seeing Bee as one of Megatrons gaurds:
He makes it seem like even the idea of Bee being a part of Megatrons ideals is out of character for him to do, and the fact that Bee has join Megatrons guard is extremely important to Star. Bee made it very obvious that he wanted to help Starscream be better in the old IDW comics, and if my assumptions are right and he is already on the path TAAO left off of (and was quickly ruined by the last two comics released in IDW1) it means that Bee and Star have a close relationship already and it has impacted both of them, more Star it seems then Bee.Â
But we wont know anything more till later issues (hopefully issue 15 will have them have their first on paper conversation) and we will see how things will turn out. My one worry is we will end up with a situation where either their roles flip or their characters will change drastically to a point that they aren't anything like the snarky duo we know and love or a combination of both. But this is just my opinion and analysis on how their characters are being written, and I would love to start a discussion on it! Let me know what you think!

Bayverse Ratch may not have done much in the films but never forget he single handedly ended the Thraal+A'ovan war in the titan UK comics. Defeated the Thraal leader in combat and negotiated peace between the factions.
