President Muhammadu Buhari has named a new head for the State Security Service (SSS).
The new Director-General is Yusuf Magaji Bichi, Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, said in a statement in Thursday.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) yesterday denied a newspaper report (not Daily Trust) quoting its chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu as saying the commission may shift the 2019 polls over threats of violence.
The chairman was quoted to have made the remark at the Inter Agency consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES) that took place at the commission’s headquarters.
