I got mad brain fog from a migraine today but I just had a thought and scribbled, okay hear me out-

What if the sides of Electrikes head are just, pinned back ears, and thats just how they sit naturally and its not just its hair/fur?

Can they move? Can they flop?

Manectrics got earholes so theorectically the ears are just stuck up against the mohawk too but their also separated in the linework so they have to have independent movement? Maybe????

“Hand,” Sasori demands, holding out his own towards her, palm up.

It’s a day off for Sakura, and they are lounging on the couch after another healing session. The progress is slow, as expected, but more whole than she had dared to hope, and evident in the steadily growing precision and strength of his chakra threads when he periodically tests them – usually on her. 

She’s absentmindedly flicking through TV channels and he’s sitting only a foot or so away, close enough to practically lie across if she extends her legs to the side from where she has them curled up in front of her, reading the latest inter-village pharmaceutical bulletin that came in for her at the hospital yesterday, which he pilfered from the stack of paperwork that she left on the living room table. Like most things she brings home, it’s confidential, as he well knows, but that’s never stopped him from helping himself; it’s never stopped her from not stopping him, either – though, she thinks distantly, she probably should, professionally-speaking.

Instead, she’s been silently encouraging this behavior with her unspoken permission, happy to see him increasingly curious about the post-war world around him, and discreetly admiring how healthy he looks compared to even a week ago, nevermind when he first arrived. 

His complexion has become bright and even – and the fact that, after everything he’s put his body through, his skin is still so much better than hers is both medically fascinating and extremely unfair – his previously lifeless hair is back to being the vivid splash of color that used to stain her dreams, and his nails are neatly shaped, no longer broken and brittle. The hollows between his bones are filling out and, though he’s still all hard angles, it is now primarily due to his build. His eyes, too, have been different, dull blades slowly being resharpened and glinting with that dangerous intelligence that she’s finally had to admit to herself she enjoys, as he engages with more and more things, allowing them to catch his interest. 

The subsequent fuzzy warmth that blooms inside of her and worms its way through her body is something that she determinedly attributes to satisfaction with his healing – a job well done on her part, especially for how experimental it’s been; after all, who else can say that they’ve rebuilt someone’s entire chakra network? – and not to pleasure at witnessing how boneless with content he seems, after more than a lifetime of being strung-out. Hypervigilance is something all shinobi struggle with, of course, but she’s found that Suna-nin are a particularly bad case; Gaara-kun, for instance, despite the years, still has trouble sleeping.

Sakura looks at the other redhead currently in her life, and on her couch, and raises a brow.

Sasori sighs, somewhat dramatically, but humors her. “Hold out your hand,” he amends.

Cool note: assēs is one of the plurals of the roman as, a type of coin! The other plural is assarii. I chose it because it looks similar to the word describing what they are behaving like xD]

Trying out a more impressionistic style of backgrounds. Lately I've been in a Skyward Sword kick and was wondering if maybe I should take a card out of that deck and apply it here. So here's the result... yay or nay?

I've been trying out different bubbles for dialogue, especially for thoughts. I first tried transparent bubbles, and even though it gets the point across it was... really hard to read. OTL

So instead I decided to colour the line art for the narration box with a character's colour signature and change the text to a light grey. In this case, it's Flavius' colour signature, which is why the line art is yellow. I changed a few colours from Mayhem's design, I feel she's almost too pink/purple overall so I added some gold for the 60/30/10 rule to make her more balanced.

Reviews while I watch Trigun Stampede: Episode 10-12

So I have started getting spoilers because tiktok has decided to give me dozens of trigun episodes. So I have to watch this before I get major spoilers. 

Let’s go! I will be sad when this is over. But atleast more is coming out. Yay!

I can’t remember how the last episode ended. 

Evil corporation backstory time. 

Shmancy city. 

He shneeze and they get spotted. Love it. 

What happened to his arm? I still don’t think we know. 

He really took that shot like a champ. Damn. 

Scarred boi. It looks so much harsher than most reveals like that. I like it. 

This man has a saviour complex.

Music. Ominous but pretty. 

Oh god. The new one will kill everything. 

Shame. She’s still just trying to figure out her life. 

Yissus her music i fucking creepy. 

Boss man is going to die. 

She does not like Wolfwood in the slightest. And Vash and Wolfwood go into the trap. 

She no longer creepy. 

Called it. He dying. 

Oooo. The use of her name is damn powerful. And this is why you don’t use names.

Meryl is going to go on a revenge streak now.

I feel like Wolfwood is going to die. 

And so the brothers are reunited.

Finale

The vines released her.

Wolfwood is back!

HE GETS A WING TOO! Also the wings are on opposite sides. 

He couldn’t save them.

Wolfwood is concerened about Vash. Sweet. 

The brother is going to die. Then the other one will end up being the main villian. 

Both want peace. But one wants peace through eradication and the other wants peace through acceptance.

Why do they have such a goofy running scene in the middle of this extremely emotional moment. 

Trauma. 

This is surprisingly graphic. And yet he still just wanted them to live together in peace.

So Meryl is getting a newbie mimiking the start of the show. Wolfwood is nowhere to be seen. And Vash has forgotten everything again, other than the music again. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. This next season is going to be so damn painful. I cannot wait. I’ll probably watch the OG show and read the manga when I get the chance between other shows.

I feel like Nomura is just always baiting us, in making us think that Kairi is connected to some new girl in the series and then she’s not. XD

First with Xion (and she’s somewhat connected to Kairi--and clearly looks like a black-haired Kairi--in that she was essentially created from Sora’s memories of Kairi). But she’s more Sora, because she was created to be a clone of him.

Then with Ava (and there was that whole Rebirth theory, where at first people thought the Foretellers might be the original incarnations of a large portion of our main cast. But for the most part, I think that theory’s been jossed).

Though people then thought Ava might be Kairi’s grandmother or something, and I also think that’s been jossed. Though there’s still the “Ava is Naminé ” theory (and Naminé used to be Kairi’s Nobody) and that hasn’t been jossed yet.

Then there was that plot reveal in KHUX, that all of the Dandelions except for the new Union Leaders forgot the Keyblade War. And everyone started thinking that Kairi’s Grandma would have to be one of the new Union Leaders, then (Skuld or Strelitzia. Though Strelitzia hadn’t been introduced yet), since Kairi’s grandma clearly knew the story of the Keyblade War and that wouldn’t make sense, otherwise. There were definitely quite a few people thinking Strelitzia might have been Kairi’s grandma when she was introduced... then in the next update she was murdered.

Then Dark Road happened--with the Keyblade wielders during Xehanort and Eraqus’ time, after the Age of Fairytales--and we got introduced to Vor, who has a striking resemblance to Kairi’s grandma... And everyone was like, “Okay. This one for sure has to be her.” But then we get that flash forward scene, where it becomes clear that four of Xehanort’s classmates died (though we don’t know for sure which four they are). Though he has six classmates. And we know for sure that Eraqus survived... the other one that survived might be Vor, and she might be Kairi’s grandma, making how Kairi’s grandma knew of this stuff make sense. But also, she very easily could have been the ones who died. But even if she did, maybe she got brought back or will get brought back in the future. Who knows? We’ll have to wait and see.

I also don’t know if I should include this one. Because sometimes, I feel like people try too hard to connect Kairi to things. And heck, I’ve been guilty of this. I know I’ve even done this one, in fact. But some people have also tried to connect Kairi to the Nameless Star, too. And I feel like there isn’t a lot to say yay about there being any evidence to this or nay about it. We don’t know a lot about Nameless Star or Verum Rex in general. But this series hasn’t confirmed or jossed it yet. Edit: Okay, actually, maybe I’m being a bit too dismissive with this. I imagine the reason some people think there might be a connection between them (and probably the reason I’ve voiced it in the past) is because there are maybe hints that Yozora is an alternate universe Sora or something (and vice versa), like with them both saying, “I’ve been having these weird thoughts lately... like, is any of this for real or not?” at the end of the secret episode at the same time. And people are probably thinking that maybe Nameless Star (who is clearly Yozora’s girlfriend like Kairi is Sora’s: and Yozora and Nameless Star also seem to be star-crossed lovers like Sora and Kairi are) is alternate Kairi, then, and vice versa.

hii, could you do a snippet where hero and villain are chasing in the city (on the rooftops), villain trips and falls into a dumpster and hero ontop of them and they both just have to clamber awkwardly out of there (kind of weird sorry- but i thought it was funny atleast)

I approve of the idea dw! XD The shorter prompt came in handy because my mam couldn’t keep her germs to herself so now we’re both diseased with cold. Although I did just find out I was able to get that little 6-week job so it’s been a very... yay and nay day today ^^’

Villain was struggling to keep away from Hero as they darted across rooftops, forcing their legs to ascertain speeds they didn't even realise they could get to. Their lungs burned and their throat was painfully dry with an unpleasant taste in their mouth. They had to ignore their body begging for them to slow down and keep going. They didn't have the time to get arrested.

Villain leapt over a gap in two buildings and had to roll to break their fall. They felt something pull in their leg and they knew they'd struggle to keep running, but they did. They had to, Hero was nipping at their heels and the pain hadn't fully kicked in with the adrenaline gushing through their system. They scrambled to their feet and kept going, Hero was on the same rooftop as them now, it was only a matter of time.

They made the mistake of looking back for a second too long. They tripped over a wire and cried out as they managed to fall over the small wall and off the building. Hero tried to grab them, but the momentum made them fall too, landing squarely on Villain's body. They headbutted each other and both made a noise of pain.

For a moment they both lay groaning in an industrial rubbish bin, kicking up all the awful smells which made Hero gag. Villain turned their head to see a rat beside their now throbbing head. "Good evening," they mumbled. "Uh.. [Hero]. Can. can we pretend that didn't happen, please?"

Hero climbed out first, falling out the other side and landing on their backside. After a moment of lying on the concrete contemplating life, they got up and offered Villain some help out. They yelped with their leg but managed to make it out without falling for the third time.

Hero cleared their throat, "Well, we both stink and I don't even want to know what's on your clothes. I'm not willing to embarrass myself by taking you into the police station looking like this, so... let's just both go home, yeah? No more trouble tonight."

"No," Villain nervously laughed, "Not tonight."

Villain winced as they began to hobble away, picking bits of rubbish from their clothes as they went. Hero curled up their lip and headed to the nearest isolated water source. "Why is it always us?"

Oh, that ask thingy I was so happy I got tagged in and never got to fill in!

You thought. Well guess what! Today imma gonna fill in the ask questions I got from @advena87 (thank you again for challenging me!) But since I’m a book reader - and I also think my follows and followers should be more encouraged to post book stuff - I’m gonna try and fill in as book content-y as I can. Here we go!  Skellige Isles or the continent?

I love the continent, especially Lyria, Rivia & Dol Blathana, but this is definitely gonna be Skellige for me. I love how raw and unbiased people are over there. They also provide equal rights to women. Which I think is far more developed than one would think when it comes to the Skellige Isles.  

Velen or Toussaint?

This is going to be Toussaint for me. Not because of the visionairy (which is, btw, flawless in TW3-B&W) but because in the books we spend a good chunk of the story there, and we really get to know how society and the monarch works. 

Novigrad or Beauclair?

I would definitely say “the centre of the world” Novigrad. The “free city” Novigrad. It’s so lively there, everyone finds the business they need. But I also like the dark side of it. The beggars, the sewers, the crying Eternal Fire zealots. 

Sleeping at Corvo Bianco or meditating under a tree?

This is gonna be meditating & sleeping under a tree, simply because there’s no “Corvo Bianco” in the books. I really loved that ending, for me though Geralt stayed on the path. 

Inns or Brothels?

Inns have such nicer ahmosphere. I love the candlelit chandeliers, the cheap beer, the people giving you various looks. Music! Geralt always has a nice meal whenever he goes to an inn.  I wish that for him. 

Caves or Ruins?

There’s not much caves in the books, ruins however, plenty. Ruins. 

High or low difficulty?

I guess noone prepared me for the emotional trauma that was the battle at Stygga, so high?

Going back to old save: yay or nay?

Sadly I can’t apply any filters to books, but the good thing is I don’t have to! I have imagination to help me.

I did actually use a map of the continent while I was reading. I marked the route each of the main characters took. 

Roach or Fast travel?

Roach, because she’s the best friend to Geralt when there’s no Jaskier/Dandelion(/Kökörcsin) around.

Roads or Boats?

There was always something bad going on when Geralt got on a boat, so... Roads. 

Specters or Relicts?

Ooh, I love an old type leshen. And godlings. And dopplers. And czorts. Definitely a relict girl here! o/

Beasts or Hybrids?

I would say hybrids. Especially sirens and succubi. 

Necrophages or Vampires?

Vampires all the way! You didn’t think I would forget about our best boy Regis, ya? (B&W vampires are awesome too, Orianna is an all-time favourite of mine)

Orgroids or Elementa?

Since there’s not much ogroid in the books, I would definitely go with the elementa, because of djinns & genies.  

Draconids or Cursed Ones?

Draconids! At least we get quite a few in the books! The cursed ones Geralt meet in the saga he doesn’t kill, rather turn them back to normal. 

The Caretaker or the Crones?

I loved the Crones! Chilling & ruthless, but very well written characters. And their boss theme is absolute bop. 

Botchlings or spotted Wights?

Spotted wights, I guess. 

Godlings or Trolls?

Godlings are kind of adorable. 

Sirens or Harpies?

Sirens, please and thank you. 

Killing or sparing?

Depends on the situation. With Vilgefortz? Kill any day. Renfri? Protect at all costs. 

Dijkstra or Roche?

As much as I love Vernon Roche, I must aknowledge the fact he’s not a book character so Dijkstra all the way. 

Vesemir or Crach an Craite?

I really loved Crach even in the books, from a young chap (at Pavetta’s 15th birthday) to someone who even woo’d Yen xD I think the Witcher 3 gave him a worthy-mighty route to embrace. Shame he had to go so early. 

Eskel or Lambert?

I was always more fond of Eskel’s quiet and composed manner. He’s like a true brother to Geralt. 

Keira or Philippa?

Philippa all the way. I just really love characters involved in intrigues by choice, and when it comes to the Lady Owl, she’s like the absolute queen. 

Cerys or Hjalmar?

Ok so, this is difficult, because Cerys was not in the books, unlike Hjalmar. But I really liked what they did with them in TW3 and how they did it, and I don’t even feel like they’ve overwritten the canon or anything. I always felt like Cerys’ calm composed manner and playing on the safe side attitude would ensure Skellige would survive. Even if they’re not going down in history as great invaders or warriors.  

Syanna or Anarietta?

Since Syanna was not in the books, but even if she was, I wouldn’t like her, I have to go with Annarietta who’s been the brattiest, sassiest and most spoiled young princess in the books. But that didn’t stop me from liking her.  Yen or Triss?

Yennefer is the queen of this story. I get where the game Triss likers are coming from, but since I’m here to spread book awesomeness, where she’s been the absolute worst (and not even a proper love interest to Geralt [even Fringilla was a longer relationship to him!]) this wasn’t a hard choice at all. Yennefer is the best for Geralt.  

Ciri or Geralt?

I’ve always been genuinely more immersed in Geralt’s side of the story, talking strictly about books, than Ciri’s.  

Regis or Dettlaff?

Regis. Never gonna com a time when I don’t pick Regis. 

Olgierd von Everec or Gaunter O’Dimm?

Olgierd, I guess. I can definitely see someone like him in the books. 

Olgierd von Everec or Iris von Everec?

Iris deserved better.

Shani or Dandelion?

Ok so, there’s no witcher without Dandelion/Jaskier/Kökörcsin, and I absolutely love this bloody Casanova, but, strictly speaking in book context, Shani doesn’t get the recognition she deserves. She’s really complex and been through a lot. Our bard has too, true, but he’s more like the comic relief of the saga. 

Johnny or Sarah?

Sorceresses or Witchers?

Sorceresses. I guess. Life is much more easier if you’re a sorceress. 

Druids or the local holy man?

Druids all the way! Especially those of Skellige! My king Mousesack . I love him.

Swallow. Not gonna use it though, but this one’s closer to the book canon. 

Decoctions or Potions?

Potions is on the canon side. 

Hunting for diagrams or finding them per chance?

Finding them by chance, I guess. Book Geralt has no time to hunt diagrams amidst all this canon shitstorm xD

🎃Pumpkin spice: yay or nay?: Everyone really wants to know this. xD I hate pumpkin spice because I don’t like pumpkin or spices. Give me caramel apples instead. Those suckers are the best dang candy there is... other than Twix.

💀What’s spookier? A dense, dark and utterly silent forest or a giant clearing fill with strange noises?: That’s tough because both suck. At least with a forest though, you can hide and if it’s silent, you can hear things easier. In a clearing, you’re visible and it’s hard to get away.

😱Favorite scary movie?: I gave a whole long list in another, so Ill elaborate on one. Let’s do The Human Centipede. Why do I like it? Because it’s weird and makes me wonder if someone has thought about it. It’s gross, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not very graphic and it’s pretty tame for a horror flick. The graphic stuff isn’t even the procedure. I have seen the other two movies, but my brother said they’re horrible compared to the first.
