Okay so as soon as I read the post I thought of 'tangled' or 'mulan' (it has nothing to do with a prince just that it has been a DREAM to fight like that girl and obv I cannot pass on the opportunity to sing, 'I'll make a man out of you' ... but now that I think about the swords and fights and tension in that way👀👀💀...and I dunno why but I'm imagining hobi as shang?! not in this book !! the reverse actually lol im committed to take out all belle povs until the epilogue which sets up the switch to her dream game plotline so i don't wanna preempt things bc having her commandeer to much attention, which does make her one of the few chars to get zero (well, 1) pov. actually i think linn also gets none lol by virtue of entering the story super late (though now that i think abt it... it could be Fun to tease some things by cutting to her earlier in the story HM!!) faye gets (1) pov in the penultimate chapter n i think devon+noah are pretty sparse again on account of hogging a lot of dream game spotlight later w tide family/damia plotlines respectively. also have a thick post-it taped to my screen that says "earn ur sky povs" bc i have no self-restraint & fav oc as background char in book that is Not Abt Her got me acting unwise lmao

after a general writing drought year thanks 2 thesis fuckery i finished up 2022 with nothing but steamy spicy content thanks to [sideblog shenanigans] and i fully intend to keep this streak going LOL the first piece of 2023 has not been written yet but looking at the trajectory of CHG road head / QS [yknow] / DVN size k*nk / par for course linncore ventures / QS first time rewrite 2 make it as needy as possible i think im on a good way ;3!!

It was their first official outting as a couple.

at one point of the night, my girl definitely went up to the dj and told him to put Retrotón (reggaeton oldies that are 🔥🔥) and got the real party started

I definitely think Toda (Remix) by Alex Rose started pumping through the speakers (although this song is not, by any means, retrotón btw) and to me, that song was made to dance suuuuper close 👀
