A bit of Devon Linework

Since I haven't posted some free art in a while

And...

Some "fun" facts about the piece and what's in it:

Devon's wearing his signature jacket which is covered in bloodstains. He likes getting his hands dirty, and that tends to get his jacket dirty too. He cleans it...But he never cleans it in a way that would get rid of all the blood. Just enough to keep it wearable and in good condition, he likes the stains. The gun is a Bolt Cartwright, specially made to Devon's specifications:

.454 instead of the standard .357

Additional Bolt Elemental Gate inside the barrel, charged differently than the one built into the chamber (Bolt weapons come standard with a special "gate" just past the chamber so that when the bullet fires, it passes through and becomes charged with an element. Standard element is electricity, but Devon's has an additional gate partway through the barrel that also charges the bullets with flame, resulting in super-heated shock rounds. That's what the addition on the bottom of the gun is for; power cells that fuel the secondary gate)

Don't ask me how the Bolt company does that with their guns without ruining the functionality, they won't tell me.

Specially made handgrip designed to fit his hand perfectly, so long as he holds it properly (he rarely does, part of the fun to him is seeing how wrong he can fire that thing and still hit his target)

Additional plating on the sides specifically to make the gun heavier so when he uses it as a melee weapon, it has a better impact.

His ears are ripped up and torn from countless shootouts where his Blessing was just that tiniest bit too slow. Every rip, tear, or nick in his ears came from a bullet or blade he barely dodged enough to miss the more important parts of his head.

*Takes you by the shoulders* I ADORE character profiles and character trivia and likes and dislikes sections. I love knowing this ruthless, heartless, cruel man of a character has a childish dislike for mandarin oranges. I believe in the inherent beauty of making all characters, no matter the background or moral stance, being made fundamentally human by assigning them insignificant culinary preferences. I stand by the supremacy of humanizing villains by giving them relatable tastes and trivial interests and ordinary hobbies. I treasure the hidden reminders that everyone is inherently human even when everything else we know about a character might suggest the contrary.
