Fenrir falls asleep watching tv with the rest of the family one night and sort of plops on top of Loki's leg. Loki is immediately like "holy shit everyone my son who never wants affection has fallen asleep in my lap like he's a little pup again nobody move nobody wake him" and so everyone leaves for bed and Loki just sits there for a while thrilled until they realize their son is kinda big now and very heavy and they legitimately cannot get up

ngl i hate it when u bring up how fucked up the show and fandom treats jermy and ppl respond w/ "he makes out w/ his dog" like idk how to tell you that jermy is not A Real Guy who made out w/ his dog the same way Dolph was not a kid who happened to look like hitler.
like both of those things are deliberate choices made by the writers to justify shitty, bigoted choices in the story and i need all of you to stop falling for it when people bring up the fact that it was fucked up.
also, other hot take that i think should be cold: people doing fucked up things does not justify bigotry. if the writers put in a trans caricature, misgendered them every step of the way, and then threw in a "they kiss dogs" ya'll would know thats bullshit. Luckily, I've been editing Those Horrid, Horrid Things and added a new graf (TWs for language):
The ravens were circling overhead. They had been following Loki all day, as tiny pinpricks in the sky, as shadows lurking among the trees. Huginn and Muninn — thought and memory — had pilfered from his breakfast and shat in his doorway. A visit from the beady-eyed fucks could only mean one thing, and so Loki had made his way to Valhalla. The fortress gleamed gold in the sunlight, its roof thatched with shields so bright they hurt to look at. Loki craned his neck and traced a thin line of smoke to the rear of the hall.
