where: the wedding
who: @thorfinnrowlex
It had been weeks but she could still remember the coldness from his gaze, the heart-wrenching pressure that took over her chest as she apparated away. It had been weeks and as much as she wished the pain would go away, it never really did. She’d seen him walk by from a distance already, but had decided not to approach him, not to interact– he’d asked her to leave and she didn’t know how to come back. Athena hadn’t thought she’d end up running into him after she took a quick break from her date to powder her nose. The witch stopped right on her tracks, blue irises focusing on the man she loved, the one she’d painfully declined, her fingers coming up to touch her inner forearm, the mark that belonged to him back in sight. “Hi.” She mustered a greeting, no more words seeming to come out.

Starter for: @thorfinnrowlex Location: Thorfinn's place
No announcement had been made when Valeria had walked into the place. Or rather stalked into the place. She was a tiny appearance, but it was clear that quite a big energy walked into the place. "Finn!" Val exclaimed as she stopped right in front of him her eyes narrowing at him. "Are you serious about this? You never take anyone to Spain and now Emma? Please tell me what is going on here." Val loved Emma. And she still meant something to her brother. So she was rather protective - if you could name it like that - right now.

where: his house who: @thorfinnrowlex
An uncomplicated friendship and a long lasting one, Agatha really appreciated the presence of the wizard on her life. They’d known each other for a long time before anything happened between them, allowing for them to take things as they were: fun and every once in a while. Friends who got to enjoy a bit more of each other whenever they felt like wasn’t at all a bad deal, especially when things were completely out in the open and clear for both of them.
After their run in at the wedding, they had decided to meet again that week and Agatha made sure to grab a bottle of firewhisky before apparating at the front door of his house. As the door opened, the brunette was delighted to find Thorfinn’s handsome face staring back at her. “Hi love, brought some fine firewhisky and a lot to talk about!” She greeted him, leaning forward to place a soft kiss to his cheek before letting herself in.

“It’s the only reason why we exist, don’t we?” Val deadpanned, her voice deadly cold as she mentioned those words. Men were saying what had to be done but in the end… They wouldn’t be there without a woman; their mother.
December would be there quick enough. It left enough time to plan a wedding. Although, one could be planned much quicker if she looked at the preparation and short amount of time between proposal and wedding with her brother and Emma.
Val was pulled from her thoughts when Thorfinn mentioned that his parents had asked him about her. A genuine surprised expression found its way to her face. “About me? In what kind of sense of way?”
He nods his head. "You do make a valid point." The idea of Evelyn pregnant was a hard concept to picture, but it was required in all families. His parents already asking about him and Matilda and no date had been set. The blonde took a sip of his drink.
Thorfinn let out a groan. "Sometime in December." Fingers comb through blonde strands. "They asked me about you, my parents."

where: Rosetta's Restaurant who: @emmasvanity, @thorfinnrowlex, @ggathena, @sethosflint
It amazed Alecto how easily it was to influence those to do her bidding. She acquired a table for five, tucked off into the corner whilst another for two would be in eyes and ears of the larger one. One might have suggested she handled the matter in a different manner, but all she knew was chaos, and this was the most fitting way to achieve it.
Wine was re-poured into the five chalices, a few drops of something special in four prior to her guests arriving. This evening was about confessing the truth and perhaps these mortals may come to their senses before decisions were made damn the consequences.
Alecto rises from her chair, spotting the first two to arrive, Athena and Sethos, the utter shock on his face amused her.
"Athena, darling, so happy you made it." The brunette hugs the other, placing a kiss on both cheeks, her attention turning to Valeria's brother, who was too tall for his own good. "Sethos, pleasure. Why don't you both have a seat."

Emma was at her apartment getting ready to put in an extra practice when she heard someone at her door, rolling her eyes in annoyance at the interference with her plans. Quidditch was sacred. It didn't mess with her and ruin her relationships and friendships. She opened the door, surprised when she saw who it was. "I think you're at the wrong place."

Who: @thorfinnrowlex Where: Malfoy x Black Wedding Reception He wondered if his friend had heard been the subject of any propositions or proposals yet or if he was letting his father do all of the work. Either way he took delight in surprising him with a hand on the shoulder. "You look suitably bored, still contemplating your perpetually single nature and upcoming arranged marriage, or did you back out of letting your father put you on the market?" He retreated out of arms length holding up his hands. "I know, I know it's hardly appropriate talk, but what can I say weddings bring emotions out of me."

There was a truth in his words that wasn’t normally spoken out loud. The wish for a boss to not have one or the other employee attend for this or that reason; nothing new. In fact, Emmeline could think of a few people that, due to reputation or political alignment were less than welcome and yet had shown up. “Hmm, I’m sure your boss is positively thrilled to have you here.” She laughed at the idea of the person in question, their face certainly not one of bliss given the circumstances. “One more reason to be here, hm?” The brunette turned toward him, hand reaching for the drink freshly placed on the counter while the other exchanged the empty cup. "Don't promise me a good time. You might not like the end of it." The brunette's fingers drummed along the glass, silently thanking him for the gesture.
Whatever tension may have been there, the shield she kept around herself whenever there were those the witch would naturally rather prefer to repel, it slipped away in an instant. There was a certain benefit with having control over such matters that made it all the easier for it. “I’m enjoying myself just fine. Not quite the chaos I was hoping it would be but then again, these political events hardly ever are. You think they’re trying to show off being in control?” Emmeline smirked. “I can see it slipping from their fingers by the minute. So yes, I’m enjoying myself. Maybe someone will put a cherry on top to make it even better, but time will tell.” Her eyes were on him, that glimmer of mischief within them. “What about you? That one over there,” Her finger went pointing in the direction he came from, “Didn’t look all that entertaining. Can’t have you dying of boredom. In the ministry no less.” - @thorfinnrowlex
Thorfinn excused himself from a riveting conversation with an older wizard about his dietary needs, and rolled his eyes. All that could fix this mind numbing experience was a drink, a stiff one.
Palms splayed on top of the bar, waiting for the bartender to drink his drink and he heard a familiar voice. He turned slightly, catching sight of Emmeline Vance. "I am sure my boss would have been thrilled if I missed it." He pointed out. He glanced back at the bartender when he brought his drink. "The witch will have a lavender champagne." The least he could do was get her a drink.
His attention turned back to the brunette. "Are you enjoying yourself?" He could feel the tension coming off her.

who : @thorfinnrowlex
where : the zabini wedding
Was this the intention of her return? To be paraded around as the future Rowle matriarch? It could have been worse, he was handsome at least. Matilda just had to hope that he wasn't entirely useless, she'd hoped that her parents had done some research beforehand. Nothing seemed darker than a lifetime of tedious conversation. So far, it wasn't going terrible. But still, Matilda couldn't focus on anything other than the pit of dread in her stomach, this was her first party since returning.
She just needed a touch of air, a moment of quiet, before returning to the prowling eyes. Matilda had only begun to feel her shoulders relax when she heard footsteps in the courtyard. Trying to avoid an audible groan at the sight of Thorfinn.
"Tell me that you aren't coming to fetch me for yet another conversation about our engagement. I've been paraded around that room countless times already."

where: his bedroom who: @thorfinnrowlex
The room was cloaked in shadows, illuminated only by the faint moonlight seeping through the curtains. Athena stood by the window, her slender figure silhouetted against the night sky. Her eyes, usually warm with affection, now burned with a cold intensity. The air crackled with unresolved tension as she waited for Thorfinn.
Thorfinn, the man she loved with all her heart. Thorfinn, who had shattered her trust into irreparable shards. She clenched her fists, feeling the emptiness where the tattoo on her arm once symbolized their bond. She had magically faded it away, erasing his mark from her skin—the pain of betrayal too raw to bear.
It didn't make sense, not when they'd confessed their love, not when she'd vowed herself his and he'd swore himself hers. Her fingers ran along her inner forearm, pain overcoming her at the bare thought of losing him for good. Silly, it may seem, she'd chosen to wear the black cotton dress she'd wore to their first date, as though it would erase all the terrible things that had happened in between.
Footsteps echoed down the hallway, and then the door creaked open. Thorfinn stepped into the room, his silhouette framed by the doorway. Tall and imposing, he exuded a presence that once brought her solace but now only fueled her anger.
Silence hung heavy between them, the weight of broken promises suffocating the air. Athena fought to control the storm of emotions raging within her—anger, hurt, and a profound sense of loss. The heavy eyeliner was already smudged, she'd been fighting tears ever since she'd arrived, the electric blue of her irises a high contrast with her pale skin and red eyes.
"You lied to me," she said once she found the strength, her voice trembling with suppressed emotion. "You told me you loved me while you were with her." A pause, she had been avoiding his gaze since he came into the room, unable to look at him in the eyes until now.

Whatever history there may have been, life had taken them each down a road in support of a certain someone; one more obvious than the other. Thus, his words left her utterly amused as she continued on in the direction she'd seen him wander. If she were to start a conversation, the witch insisted at the very least not to hold him up on whatever journey he was on.
"My day's been fine, thank you for asking." There was a hint of amusement in her voice, reflected in the grin that made its way onto her face. Rita found no issues with the day as all things had gone accordingly to plan. "I simply noticed the scoffing of some at the latest edition of the Prophet. Can't for the life of me imagine why." A shrug. "No time for the papers, yet enough time to gather up intel and idle chatter?" When in the company of those that knew her, her view of the war was something she didn't hold back; or at least did not bother covering up entirely. "Something you wish to know?" - @thorfinnrowlex
Thorfinn had a few Dark Lord matters to take care of, a few parchments slipped in his jacket inside pocket, the wizard was making his way out of Diagon Alley, back to where he was doing the meet up/exchange. He rounded the corner where he saw a familiar set of blonde hair. The wizard had no intention of stopping, but when he heard her speak, his steps came to a halt, coming to her side.
"I don't know, can you?" A smirk appears on his lips, hands shoving into his jacket pockets, and knew they had a deeper connection. "We both know I have no time for the papers. If I need to know what is going on, I have you for that." He turns to look at her. "Your day going that poorly, hm?"

where: the wedding who: @thorfinnrowlex
Everything was lovely, down to the last detail, and Agatha couldn’t help but feeling proud of herself. It had taken lot of work to put everything together and please the newly wedded couple and now that they were halfway through, the witch could finally feel at ease. She’d been taking sips here and there up till now, asking the bartender for a well deserved cocktail, turning to the side and seeing a familiar and handsome blonde wizard beside her at the bar. “Thorfinn, my love, look at you!” The brunette raised her palms to gesture to his outfit, then closing the distance to give him a quick hug. “Red does suit you. Are you enjoying yourself?”

Location: The White Wyvern pub.
For @thorfinnrowlex
Arlette threw herself into a chair at the table with non of the Grace of a high class lady, rain from her cloak pattering to the floor as it swished behind her. She groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose before she looked over to the blonde man opposite her.
"Fuck, I could murder a whole bottle of whiskey neat. Much more of this and I'll be in Azkaban for murder, I'm telling you Thor!!"
Snapping her fingers at the house elf taking orders, she waited impatiently for it to amble over.
"Stupid fucking elf. Stupid fucking man, stupid fucking weather. I can't even go fly a dragon to clear my head as visibility is too low and it's too wet. For fucks sake" She wasn't cursing at Thorfinn, rather her erstwhile absentee husband Godfrey...the reason she'd been driven to the bar in the rain.
Her wedding band glimmered in the low lighting as she ordered a bottle of the finest whiskey and a tumblr with ice
