I’m pretty sure a lot of people already know this one, as it has been updating regularly for a while now. But essentially, little by little during his double agent gig, Hawks finds out that Dabi is Todoroki Touya. 

Metal Chick by glitteringeva 

Hawk’s career as a musician is undergoing a bit of a rocky situation in the aftermath of some incident involving Enji. Enter Dabi, the singer of a metal band that has taken an interest in him, and Miruko, determined to make the two of them work together. Not going to lie, I’m on this boat equally for the dabihawks endgame and for the todofamily feels.

THIS FIC IS EVERYTHING. Lol, okay, it had me stupidly hooked since chapter 1. Essentially, bodyswap AU in which Dabi gets thrown in a world where Shinogu Touya is a hero, while Touya wakes up in a world where not only is he a villain, but also somehow estranged from his family. LISTEN I HAVE A MAJOR WEAKNESS FOR BODYSWAPS AUS and this one checks all my boxes. Please read it, you won’t regret it

can you believe that this is the only fic I was able to find in which Dabi is portrayed as the right amount of soft and touch-starved? Gosh, it’s a godsent amongst all the dub-cons out there and I’ll forever cherish it

Fever dream, by sushibomb 

Hawks takes care of a very sick, very bratty Dabi. Who doesn’t need to have the mental picture of Dabi in a blanket cocoon with only his eyes poking out? 

the phoenix, by domestichobgoblin 

this one is shigadabihawks, but please consider reading it even if the pairing is not your cup of tea. This fic has the best Hawks’ characterisation I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading, and it’s the most believable take I saw so far of Hawks’ “fallen angel” theory

crack treated seriously but boy, you’re missing out if you haven’t read this little gem. Basically, Hawks brings home an egg and tells Dabi that it’s their child. Dabi takes his sudden fatherhood very seriously

Asterism, by Bacchant

a collection of dabihawks drabbles featuring various prompts. It goes from corny to heartwrenching with such ease it’ll probs give you whiplash, but the author has a great grasp of Hawks and Dabi’s respective personalities as well as their dynamic. 10/10 would recommend

In which Dabi finds a healthier way to channel his revenge towards his dad, Hawks wants desperately to save him, and the todofamily gets to have the heartwarming reunion that it deserves. Kudos to this fic for making me incredibly soft. I love the way Hawks’ and Dabi’s mutual support system is shown. All the soft scenes of comfort were what truly made this read so worth it (also, this fic has a good take on how the aftermath of Endvore’s fall from grace would affect the ranking system, which is another great plus imho)

Right now my room is very earthy, green walls, green blankets, books everywhere, plants everywhere, and there’s as equal a chance that tomorrow I’ll wake up and decide to wear my flowy flower dress as it is for me to wear black leather everything. I like to keep it interesting. 

Favorite author: Eh, I don’t really have one. But my favorite book is by Gillian Flynn.

Favorite animal noise: Purring, it is so cute and whenever my cats purr it makes my heart so happy.

anyone who thinks bakugo would be a villain is stupid because the only difference between him and the average teenager who hates everything is the ability to blow things up and too many near death experiences. hes just an edgy teenager with mental health issues that he used to work out in an unhealthy way that hurt others (which he has learned and grown from, expressing hatred for those who do what he used to do in the manga and reconciled with izuku.) and the only reason the in-show paparazzi think hes a villain is bc hes angry and loud. guys please wake up hes just an angry kid with a lot of skull t shirts who hates his parents, just like the rest of us. now, i could go into detail about the changing dynamic between izuku and katsuki, the growth in their rivalry (friendship??), how his relationship with kirishima impacted a lot of that, how bakugo was raised being constantly told he was great, flat put admitting hes a perfectionist (showing an acute understanding for his flaws that hes aware of, in the first goddamn episode), how he only really hated izuku because he couldnt understand why someone who he perceived as unable to reach the same dream he has was still trying, therefore making it seem easy, therefore insulting him (that’s how he perceives it), how he grew up in the same shitty school izuku was in and was never taught how to treat people and to not think he was better than everyone else because his students and teachers alike worshipped him and his parents just didnt notice or care I guess?? how because he had a powerful quirk, heavy expectations and praise were placed upon him so every compliment felt like nothing and the slightest bit of criticism was world shattering and awful because that means he isnt good enough, how he now goes out of his way to protect his classmates (again this is in the manga) because he respects them, how he let’s kaminari call him kacchan (the only one allowed to do it besides izuku), how he has tea with all might and izuku, how he goes to bed at 9pm because he needs to work hard and do his best or he wont be #1, how his definition of hero has changed drastically, how hes using the things hes learned hes trying to help others do the same and not be the way he was (again, manga). but i dont really need to talk about that.

because at the end of the day, all he can do is make amends, make peace, improve, and move on, and that’s what hes doing because hes Bakugo Fucking Katsuki and your opinion doesnt need to matter to him unless he can use it to improve.
