hey hey, tell me about those deer ocs you wrote about on your writing blog a while ago! those little fauns that face off with these monstrous deer! I'm curious about their story!

well, i have a whole universe set out called Nitis (the name of the ‘Earth’ like planet)

under a cut for length and some body horror stuff!!

And in Nitis things are the same as they are here in our universe, more or less, except for one key difference. The Cosmic Deer created everything. 

The Cosmic Deer made the world, the galaxies, everything. 

On the planet this takes place on the world is divided into different biomes, all ruled by different Guardians, who were made by the Cosmic Deer to keep balance. 

There’s only one real threat. 

Humans. 

They’ve begun to evolve and reproduce and unfortunately they’ve brought a place into existence called the Treacherous Empire. A place where no deer dares to go due to pollution and toxins. It’s full of the smell of burning rubber and the sound of creaking metal. 

The three stags are Vukan, Hakan, and Cruor. 

Vukan and Hakan are at the Gate standing Guard all the time. They are constantly burning, two brothers who wondered too far into the Empire and were corrupted by its pollution and hatred. 

Cruor was made by the false Guardian of the Empire. He is made from blood and plasma of various worshippers of the falsely made Guardian. And he acts as a sort of second-in-command. 

And those sweet fauns, Soot and Gravel (the twins), Fern, and our Hero Dart, all come from different places in Nitis. 

Soot and Gravel were abandoned by their momma and tend to be quiet and keep to themselves. Fern is shy and nervous and doesn’t like adventure too much. And Dart just wants to stop the “Evils of the World” like a true hero. 

honestly i have so much info on them and i wanna make it into a book but idk where to start at all!!

Honestly i know you dont post comics too terribly often but i fucking love them, i think theyre great. I also marvel at how you managed to complete all them, because i drew one comic page in one night, started another, and then never touched it again. How do u manage to stay motivated thru that? Tell me ur secrets art goddess

jfawlekd Oh God I complete them because they’re my class projects haha god... I do the same as you normally unless I can binge all the sketches for the pages, and then I feel slightly more motivated to finish them...

But thank you, oof, I do like drawing comics but, like you, I also have issues finishing them....

This is going to sound corny, but other peoples happiness. Seeing people in love is the best. Seeing kids or animals. Just some of the simple stuff makes the day so much better. But the peak time for me is sunset, driving past purple pink skies and seeing the sun set is really peaceful for me. Then that wave of night washing over in the distance...dude that makes me feel like I’m gonna go on an adventure

Deyanira eyes up the new blood. Tyr sits silently in the background, checking statuses and whatever else he monitors on his computer. Deyanira doesn't worry or think much about the technology stuff. 

Destiny chats away with the new girl, Jackilyn, her file says. She looks more human, makes humans feel more comfortable than Deyanira can.

She steps forward, her heels clicking on the stone floor and causing both girls to look up. Even Tyr glances up briefly.

“So sunshine, how’s the interview going?” She asks, the cigarette hanging from her mouth smoking slightly even though it isn't even lit. Her eyes glow in the lighting, bright red, slitted pupils, silvery white hair catching every bit of light it can and shining brightly. The girl doesn't even flinch, and Deyanira smirks.

“Boss, we've got something.” Tyr’s voice carries before either can answer, and Destiny leaps up and rushes over in excitement.

“What is it this time?” She asks, barely turning to face him.

“Specters, a whole house of them by the looks of our preliminary readings of the place.” Destiny says excitedly as she hurries to gather the equipment needed.

“Well kid, you ready?” When she doesn’t get an immediate response she raises an eyebrow at the new prospect, “What’s wrong? Scared of ghosts?”

“I’m not scared of ghosts.” She says calmly as she stands, her eyes begin to glow and Deyanira smiles wide, fangs glinting in the light as she does so, “Ghosts are scared of me.”

The holy power that courses through the girls hands suddenly makes Deyanira tense and barely bite back a hiss while Tyr moves to protect her. She holds out a hand and he stops, still on edge but Deyanira relaxes and reaches out a hand.

“Glad to have you aboard.”

“Glad to be here.” Jackilyn shakes her hand with a smile just as radiant as her holy power and Deyanira finds herself enjoying this girl’s personality already.

Isabelle - She is exhaused. She can see Demons and Old Gods in disguise (made for the same universe as Ava) For as long as she can remember shes seen people who don’t look quite right. Now shes in high school and its worse than ever. You would not Believe how many demons are masquerading as highschoolers

Emma - She’s in college for graphic design and plays wayyy too many video games. She meets Harley online and they become friends before they start dating. She also has a pet bunny named Oliver whom she loves immensely. She’s actually pretty average and normal and stays up too late and procrastinates like everyone else. 

Dean - A Punk. A Rebel. He will as soon beat up a neo nazi as he will help a little old lady cross the street. He’s very anti-establishment and voices his opinions loudly and openly. His favorite weapon sport is baseball and he keeps his bat with him just in case he needs to join an unexpected game.

Lily-Anne - The biggest well meaning klutz you will ever meet. She makes mistakes a lot and is rather oblivious. Which is why, upon becoming a witch, she accidentally enters a pact with three vampire siblings. (Annabelle, William, and Johnathan) Thankfully the three of them are super chill and dont really hold her to standards other vampires might. And on the plus side she’s now protected by vampires who see her as their soft and easily hurt little sister.
