🌾 Describe your OC through the eyes of someone absolutely head-over-heels in love with them

Oh my gosh okay. Alex sees him as so perfectly confident and able to do anything. I think he's always seen him like that, honestly! When they were friends as kids, Mal was always the one to be emotionally strong and who would face any challenge head-on. To some extent he is still like that, but a lifetime of abuse has made him much more skittish than he used to be, and also some of his experiences have made him hate his body, so he is eager to hide himself. To Alex though, he is just this pinnacle of easy confidence. 🥺 There's so much stuff that Alex wants to do, but he gets in his head while Mal can just jump right in. It made him feel so inferior at first, but now it just makes him that much more in love with him.

On the note of his body too, I think even though they're so opposite in their physiques, Alex really enjoys Mallory's body a lot. He's not only so tall, but he has a sturdy frame even if there's not much meat to him. I imagine as an athlete, Alex probably can appreciate bone structure, and he sometimes talks about Mal building up muscle too although it's not something he pushes him on. His legs are so long and perfectly made for dancing, which of course, in Alex's eyes he's the best dancer in the world. His wrists and knuckles are bony and shapely, his fingertips rough from farm work (he thinks about his hands a lot. Like a lot!!! 😳) His smile and voice are familiar to what Alex remembers from childhood, but now more matured and with a rich tenor voice.

It's all striking though because Mal isn't perfect, and Alex is someone who is very quick to point out his own flaws and give himself a hard time for his perceived imperfections, while he finds beauty and merit in everything about Mal. Even if Mal himself is insecure about some of those things!! It's like, Alex holds him to a different standard and even though they are now adults and equal partners, he still looks up to Mallory in some ways as what he should strive to be as a man. Even if Mal's version of manhood and masculinity is so different from everything Alex has been trying to shape himself into all his life!!

Wtf I could talk about them forever!!! Moving on!!!! Oh god this is so long already and there's two more questions!!!!

I think he's someone who is pretty self-sufficient so he would be the type to be like "no, I'm fine, don't worry about it" while hacking up a lung lmao. He is very much a caretaker though, there's a few chapters where Alex is in a bad way (either sick or just like. Going Through It) and he just instantly dives in to take care of him. I think if Mal ever got so sick he couldn't do anything, he would be in good hands with Alex too, but he'd probably be fighting him along the way trying to take care of himself 😂

🥀 How would your OC decorate a notebook or journal? What kind of things are written in there? Could you give an example of a nice entry?

I think he would probably put pressed flowers and photos in a journal, just little keepsakes to remind him of good things and good people! He never kept a journal, but he did used to write letters to Alex that he wrote as if they were journal entries! Much as he tried to stay strong for him when they were together as kids (and even as adults tbh), he would actually express just how bad he was doing if it was in writing. Poor Alex on the other end of it, would read them and have no idea how to respond, but he was so sad for his friend 😭

I think probably if he kept a journal now, he would write about things he wanted to remember, like things he did with his friends or things he saw that he thought were beautiful. I think he would also write out his thoughts toward his grandparents, even though they would never be able to read his words.

Also, first of all, you don't have to apologize for saying someone I might like or not, this is for fun and to see what other people think, so all answers are valid, some might be more funny or not depending on my tastes, but that's part of the game~

Now, for Makoto, she does have her own canon ship in my brain (another OC, idk if I've talked about them here ever), but I always like contemplating AUs with other ships, and I can kinda see that too 👀👀👀

Not nearly as experienced as he pretends to be (or, possibly, thinks he is). I feel like he has a single-digit body count (for sex, anyway) that he's been fucking for decades, so it's like the "do you have ten years of experience or one year of experience ten times" thing.

As for the second question, I feel like he knows the technical aspects of it, but he'd be a fucking insufferable lay, like, he'd get you off competently enough but you'd want to gag him, or punch him afterward. Put a bag over his head. Something.

Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)

Santiago's definitely a dedicated manscaper. Idk much about hair dye options in the 1940s, but he looks to me like a bottle blond, so my first thought is that the carpet does not match the drapes, and then I think about it for another second and, he'd probably also dye the carpet to match, he's that sort of metrosexual. So yes, but neither are natural.

Also, something I hate in fics is how some have everyone talk in therapy speak. Like have you seen these kids? The closest any of them have come to therapy is maybe Will after S1 with the lab saying it was to talk about how he was feeling, but it was more to understand the effects of the Upside Down. These kids do not have a detailed understanding of mental illnesses, symptoms, or coping strategies. (And even worse, it's everyone but Steve talking in therapy speak because he's written as too dumb to understand anything?)

oooh I've see more than I thought I would robin not being touchy. it's often accompanied by Eddie being touchy, which is probably true. While I think she's picky and possibly gets overwhelmed, I really do think she's so clingy with Steve. She doesn't like people she barely knows touching her but Steve's her pal! her rotten soldier! her sweetest of cheeses! She is going to be all over him she's gonna tuck her arm through his, she's going to fall asleep on him! sometimes yes I think she would be cuddling and go "ah. no more for me too much thank you" because sometimes you just need to not be touched but it's not all the time. What is their go to for making their partner feel loved?

This was a hard one because Ren tends to show it in every little thing he does... and most the time it is subconscious. He doesn't really need to show it because it is in every little thing he does as a part of how he is with Sorrel.

If I really had to pick what he does most... Florentel mostly does small touches. Little acts of affection to a touch starved man who had vocally expressed wanting Ren to show him physical affection. (And Sorrel is sure to reward those 100 times over in bed.) Arms brushing as they walk, the way he tangles his limbs with Sorrel when they cuddle in bed, legs secretly brushing under tables when they with others. And so much more.

He also tends to constantly remind Sorrel he is part of his family during conversations in passing. Since Sorrel doesn't have a family to go back to, and married into Ren's family, Ren is always including him with family things. He knows Sorrel has a scale from his father and aunt and a crest from his mother on a chain. So he made a crest of his own family to give Sorrel to add. He is always inviting him back home to Ishgard for family meals... and delivering gifts and messages from his mother, who instantly took Sorrel as her own. He even promised to teach Sorrel the family trade of candle making.

So I guess... to show Sorrel he is loved... Ren is always giving small bits of affection and constantly including him as family.

14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?

in regards to how their personalities complement each other, this is an aspect of my ideal leader/second-in-command dynamic: i feel like shigaraki is more of a 'big picture' kind of person. he knows what he wants (the destruction of hero society - you can debate about the underlying desires there, like his victimhood being recognized or what the fuck ever, but it all feeds back into he does genuinely want to see hero society destroyed), while the specifics of how he gets what he wants are more come as they may. (twice was the one who brought overhaul to the league and therefore the quirk-erasing bullets, ujiko and machia were already on tap waiting to be unlocked, the mla made the first move). it's not that he's lazy, but he's more about turning the situations that land in his lap to his advantage rather than proactively pursuing them. he deals with his emptiness with a future-forward focus.

on the other hand, i believe that in a situation where he could truly flourish as a second-in-command, spinner would absolutely love to deal with the details and logistics of reaching that 'big picture'. i think he's more in need of something to do NOW, hence doing something crazy like running away from home to join a terrorist group with only being a hikikomori on his resume after seeing a serial killer on tv. he needs something to fill up his day in between big inspiring moments like 'whoa so true fake heroes should be murdered' and 'whoa so true society should just be destroyed entirely'. so between the two of them, you get shigaraki providing a big picture for spinner to actually concentrate his energy on, and you got spinner gearing to do the dirty work to ensure shigaraki can actually craft that big picture.

that's also a central clash between them, which i think 220 demonstrates. shigaraki's not exactly being lazy in searching out the doctor to try and hit a new phase in his 'destroy society' goal, but he's not exactly turning over every rock to find the doctor either; they're surviving day to day. and i've expressed this before i think, but i strongly believe that spinner's outburst is partly because not being able to constructively work towards something, being stuck in a rut is too familiar to his empty hikikomori days. so you get that friction during periods where forward momentum just is not happening.

another personal headcanon for them that i think fits for this question (and is kinda at odds with my prior answer) is in regards to their gaming habits. i feel like shigaraki is a more structurally-focused gamer, wants to 100% the game and manipulate the mechanics to their fullest extent. even when he talks about the newly-formed league as a sims game in the forest training arc, i think he's conceptualizing it as using people's skills appropriately. conversely, i think spinner is more interested in the lore of a game, or the ways that games can be considered art. not that he's not up to snuff on game mechanics and everything, and he'll still play a beat 'em up to pass the time, but he gets more excited when there's some element worth getting passionate about.

in this headcanon, there's a lot of room for shigaraki and spinner to talk to each other about games and have rigorous discussions about each other's perspectives and preferences. but alternatively they can also think the other is an IDIOT and a CHARLATAN and a FAKE GAMER and mercilessly rib each other about it. <3

ohhh boy. oh boy okay. man this is always a tricky question cuz it's so easy to just relate whatever good song to your otp. i did have this lil playlist from like 2019-2020 where i still really the songs to them, but i'd have to really sit down and consider this considering how much of my spinaraki understanding has evolved since then.

see now this is a tricky one cuz i don't think either of them would go out of their way to rescue injured animals. but i'll give it to spinner because a project like that would really help him feel good about himself. and shigaraki would see spinner taking care of this lil thing that everyone else has abandoned and ignored and resolutely be like i'm NOT mushy about this you cannot trick me into being mushy about this. me wanting to jump his bones and also fantasize about domestic life with him is unrelated.

i know that a lot of people take tenko's history with mon-chan to give him pets that he can love and therapize about, but as a jaded adult i think it would be a lot harder for him to bond with an animal. but that's all lead up to my secret true headcanon where he's like one of those dads who's like "no we don't need this pet i don't want this pet" but as soon as they get that pet it is napping on his lap and he's letting it and they are napping together. in that dad way. i assume for other guys' dads. it's a stereotype.

Fina moves through several social circles. One could argue, given her position, the entire domain is a 'circle' for her. That is less fun, however, so here is a more defenitive answer.

The Ventrue so love their orders and clubs and awards! Fina is not much different. I eill spaee you the details so I don't derail into a Ventrue rant! She moves in these circles as one might expect. There is a level of obligation, yes, but it is also good to be around others who understand. They understand getting their hands dirty, they understand offering the olive branch, they understand the importance of taking risks. They understand the weight of their blood.

Within the city, she is fairly inseperable from the Prince and Sheriff. For all their squabbling and petty annoyance, they do try to put the good of the domain first. She'd rather die than say anything nice about Walter, though. Even if she thinks it.

Her social standing has certainly changed. She climbs the Tower and the clan, having started as some no-name brat who probably ate her sire to a reliable asset and accepted peer.

Fina has left many behind in her youth. This is partially due to her own curiosity (what's over the next hill?), pressure from within the clan (you're young and expendable you go over the hill), and external pressure (better move before the Sabbat looks too hard again).

Jace mumbled first, the lilt of his Irish accent thicker in the wake of his return to consciousness. "mn...wha's happenin....?" And now he was... not home. Some room he'd never seen, though what he could see was hardly nothing, with the slats over the window blocking the outside light, and the overhead not on.

Jace shifts, only to blink when he realizes there's someone near him, on the same lumpy collection of blankets. His back aches just looking at it. He pokes and prods Dwight's shoulder. "Hey-- y'alrigh'? Is this-- no that's dumb--- but where are we?" He remembered someone being there before he passed out, and now he and Dwight were somewhere else and-- wait-- those weren't slats. Were those bars on the windows? Was this..... was this his first kidnapping??

I decided to draw Knives this time since I love him and still hadn't had the chance~ I was unsure about if Knives would be good doing braids or not, so I went with him "really focused on doing it well" haha Dalia had an accident(?) during her day and her braids came lose, and Knives offered to help her redo her hair~~ that was the idea! Just a doodle tho~
