1. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚?

Emmett doesn't put much stock into how he smells. He isn't the type to invest in fancy colognes or any of those things (lbr he'd go for the Irish Spring 11 in 1 soap meme), however, he does make it a point to smell clean after a long day and he is partial to the gentler scents; think spring breeze or clean linen or things of that nature. (We also know he appreciates floral scents from the way he acts with the flowers Clara gives him to pin to his lapel so.)

Because he spends a lot of hours working on his projects, he's got a faint industrial scent that often lingers on his clothes / skin. Something slightly metallic (metal pipes and wrenches and a well-loved toolbox), the scent of old paper and graphite. Think also the charged scent of the air before a thunderstorm hits.

2. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚’𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚?

Rough. Emmett's hands are not soft; they're calloused and sometimes cut up and it's very obvious even at a glance that he's someone who works extensively with his hands. He doesn't always wear gloves or the full protective equipment when not absolutely necessary, and for that, his hands have suffered. His touch can be extremely gentle, but the look and feel of his hands don't match that.

3. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙮?

This varies heavily based on the time period. Emmett is quite capable of cooking for himself, however he's extremely forgetful and often neglects his own needs when caught in the throes of his own scientific endeavours. More often than not he'll remember extremely late at night that he hasn't had more than coffee in the morning / throughout the day and at that point, he's walked next door to Burger King to pick himself up a meal before he hits the ground.

With Clara and the boys, he's gotten better about eating at least two meals a day because Clara will send either Jules or Verne downstairs to fetch Emmett for meals and they are instructed to grab him and forcibly pull him away from his work if necessary. Then, he'll eat whatever Clara has prepared for their meals that day; he's surprisingly not picky.

4. 𝘿𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚?

He has a passable singing voice. He can match pitch but he's certainly not great. Though he's not so bad as to cause someone's ears to bleed, either. Marty can outsing him any day.

5. 𝘿𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙗𝙖𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙨?

Staying up extremely late, neglecting his own needs, bottling up his feelings (especially in crisis situations and when Marty's around), excessively pacing, grandiose gestures, talking a lot with his hands, becoming too invested in whatever he's working on to the point of near obsession. (To start naming a few.)

6. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 / 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙧?

Emmett is the pinnacle of fashion. He is almost always sporting a brightly coloured Hawaiian shirt of some kind with either beige or black pants. He has even been fired from a job in the past for refusing to adhere to the company's dress code; he continued to wear Hawaiian shirts after being reprimanded twice. His white mane of hair has a life of its own and flies any which way atop his head, even if he tries to brush it down. He's far too animated for his hair to stay down without excessive amounts of hair gel. He also often wears a lab coat; it's not uncommon at all to see him out and about in Hill Valley gathering the things he needs for whatever he's working on with his coat still on. If you look close enough you might also find some dog hair on his clothing; that's just par for the course as a dog owner.

7. 𝙄𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚?  𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝?  𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙨𝙤?

He's quite affectionate in his own way. With the people he's extremely close to, few and far-between as they are, he's very tactile. He'll touch their shoulders or their arms and give them gentle, reaffirming squeezes, he'll pull his close friends in for a hug, he'll clap them on the back, all that.

However, his affections also come through largely through his actions. Emmett takes care to remember / memorise even the little details about his friends / loved ones. He knows Marty exceptionally well, maybe even more than Marty realises. He can gauge how he's feeling simply by the way he carries himself or by the things he does or doesn't say. He drops himself down to the level of his shorter companions to make them feel more at ease / equal.

He offers advice and reassurance where possible and always leaves the offer to talk about anything open, but he never forces anything or pushes. He loves and worries and cares a great deal, but also makes sure he doesn't smother.

8. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙞𝙣?

Typically however he ends up in bed. He's primarily a back sleeper and doesn't toss or turn nearly as much as one might expect him to. He's also not the type to curl up, either.

9. 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢?

Absolutely. Subtlety is not Emmett's specialty and he not only often talks at a high volume, but his voice is strong and it carries. There's no problem hearing him in most situations, however he can be quiet when he needs to be.

reading springfest now after everything in nagazora is making me crave more fu hua and mei interactions. i feel like thus far in my go through, i've never actually seen them interact, but it's kinda fun that the person who made the recommended reading order put springfest after nagazora (though of course this is probably in preparation for whatevers going on with senti/fu hua rn in ch 19)

but the way that the empyrea isolates herself so she doesn't have any attachment to those who she will outlive and how she winds up becoming lonely as a result threw me back to mei isolating herself in world serpent so that she can protect kiana and just... idk..... i think the two talk about that isolation would be interesting

also. i love fu hua. she's still at the top of my list for best character so i'm just a happy little guy getting more fu hua content now in the story :> yippee fu hua

Watching my friend play baldur's gate 3 and it's been very fun but now I have been spite-inspired to draw fat Shadowheart because we should see a person who looks like they could actually feasibly one-hand a mace and a big shield with their counterweight and not be an anime-waifu, ariana grande ponytail, tiny person with a mcguffin and no character depth. OOF can you tell my feelings for this character or what???? (She also just sounds SO young, and the fact that she's so small like??? ughhhhh it just feels gross) (granted, I'm not super into a lot of the writing for most of the characters - especially the women - but alas.... = _ =;;)

I just hmmmmmmmm not here for this edgelord I'm Not Like Other Girls energy. You CAN be a character who is unlikeable and interesting - I DO love that. But she feels like she has no actual personhood? And don't blame that on the memory wipe, because if you took out a chunk of memories, there would just be floating emotion without any context, and that in itself is SO disturbing for a person to deal with? Let's see her UNHINGED, holding on by a THREAD, to the lifeline that is this evil god that she worships and this directive/mission she has. Instead she's just....there. Ugh - I'm just not 100 into the writing in the game and the women just feel very blandly written and delivered and it's Too Bad, as usual.

this elicits zero emotions from me. no positive, no negative thoughts.

I think as a ship I can respect it, but as a viewer of the show i don't particularly care for Aone, he's never been particularly interesting to me. It is also painful because I am not a multishipper in most cases, so the iron grip I have on ushiten cannot be let go. But I will give it a sincere thought!

I do think if they'd have run into each other in the competition hallway, Aone would have locked on and pointed at Ushiwaka as the ace, and Ushiwaka would have been so confused but assumed this was some kind of social convention he doesnt understand, and just decide to point back at him without emotion. And I think that would have surprised Aone. and also everyone else. I can imagine this pointing going on for several minutes as Futakuchi tries to decide if he should stop it, sparing baffled glances between these two idiots.

I think as a ship I can see a fun dynamic with Aone being quiet because he's quiet but Ushijima is quiet because he's Mr. Autism - that is to say, I think it's really funny to imagine Aone silently correctly his behaviour when Ushijima is Misunderstanding Something, but he's not very social himself so he just sorta... pushes at Ushijima and shakes his head like "no honey, thats not right, stop that."

I can imagine them very domestically, I cant imagine them very... romantic. I feel like they'd both be ass at planning dates.

I do think Ushijima would adore his turtle. They might have multiple turtles. I think Ushijima could be a turtle guy with enough exposure.

I do like Ushi-ships that include Tendou as the best friend still because I think thats very funny. Imagine Aone, finally getting a date with this very cool, very skilled and highly acclaimed player he's admired forever, and he's very nervous and he's heading to the Shiratorizawa gates, because that's where they're meeting, and Tendou comes swinging down from the trees (or whatever he does in his spare time) like "so you wanna date my bff is that right?" and I just feel like Aone would not enjoy conversations with Tendou like that. He doesnt even know who this is, he's just scary. Why is his super calm and cool new boyfriend's best friend the scariest person???? Ushijima would have to shoo him away.

- the bakusquad were in fact getting a lot of judgmental stares at the grocery store bc they had a whole lot of liquor and junk food

-do not let shoto have his phone when he's drunk

- kam made a sign of “house rulez” that he worked SO hard on making it look as aesthetically pleasing as possible (mina had to help a little)

- after kami replied to bgk with “get off my dick” bgk blocked him for a bit but after some begging bgk unblocked him

- hitoshi is still traumatized from a couple years back when yn wore heels to an event with a lot of walking and always tells her “heels aren’t worth it, save those feet in case we need a backup plan for money”

- sho has a *sense* when it comes to yn as soon as smth happens with her he just…feels it…it’s very creepy

- bgk has been known to nurse on a beer or two so bc of that he has a super weak tolerance to alcohol….i wonder why he was drinking more than usual…hmmmmmmmm…😉😉😉

- you’ll see later but hitoshi and yn have matching usernames for their priv twitters

Something you wish was in the game: Hmmmmmmmm, I'm not a super picky person when it comes to gameplay, but I do wish the base game had a free cam. They put a lot of work into all the sceneries that never get seen because we are locked into a certain view.

It's pure wet cat, sad Dadstarion and he just trying to learn to love again. You’re welcome! I hope Malleus gets buttslapped more often… he deserves it lol

Lilia’s case is interesting, because on the one hand, he does want Malleus to have more connections, relationships, all this stuff, but he really is more possessive than even he himself realises, not to mention super protective. So I can picture him going after people with an excuse of them overstepping, but in actuality because he’s way too used to thinking that he is the only one who is allowed to treat Malleus this way.

So about this! We actually talked about it about a year ago here and there, and even though we mentioned it briefly, we still like this theory a lot. Katsu and I pretty much consider it canon lol Of course while keeping in mind that it was only implied and the circumstances around their siblings’ death might have been different yada yada you know what I mean.

So yeah, other Leeches absolutely existed, Jade and Floyd are the only ones who survived and it only happened because they joined forces. And we all know that Jade and Floyd both are quite hungry, so the scenario in which they hunted every single sibling down and ate them to grow stronger just feels correct, horribly morbid and super fun at the same time.

I don’t know, it’s just a very amusing thing to think about when you look at them doing regular college boy things. Especially Jade, since he likes acting all polite and proper. He’s out there doing his vice-housewarden things, talking to his classmates, managing finances for the Halloween event, and you look at him and think “this guy munched down his siblings when he was little” lol

It’s almost like they’re from a completely different and a much more cruel world…

I don’t think Vil would want to have a sex tape even if it’s for a personal use; he’s probably heard so many stories about leaks and ruined reputations. He grew up surrounded by paparazzi and all kinds of nosy vultures, so he is very careful and secretive (and a bit paranoid) about his private live. So he probably treats every time he has sex as “once in a lifetime performance for his lover only”.

Which is ironic because Ortho really loves recording everything he sees and does. He loves rewatching, revisiting and analyzing (and doing other stuff if it’s sex tape we’re talking about hehe), so he’ll absolutely ask Vil to record everything or at least take some pictures or audio recordings, and he’ll be bummed out when Vil refuses. Vil is usually very doting and he allows him to do so many things, but this is something he is stubbornly against.

But if Vil doesn’t know about it, there is no harm, right? Ortho knows how to put cameras and sound-recording devices in a way he would never notice…

And if it’s the robot!Ortho we’re talking about, he doesn’t even need any extra devices: he records everything directly to his memory.

I think he is starved to the point of not wanting anything anymore, so he’s touch-died-of-hunger-years-ago. So it’s not like he is actively suffering, buuuut if someone was to get physical with him, his body would suddenly remember that being touched by someone actually feels very good, so he’ll get overwhelmed in a good way. He is very sensitive….

‘Fuck.’ 

The keyboards clacks as Ace softly drops his head onto it. He had been searching for the error in his code for nearly two hours before the desktop screen went dark, shortly before the lights did too. 

Blackout. 

He lets out a long rattling sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose as he sits up, pushing the frustration down. 

He considers himself a fairly composed guy, but there’s only so much shit you can shovel in the space of a week. He wouldn’t usually even be using the desktop, on the off chance of this exact scenario, but his laptop peaced out on Monday and is away being repaired. Nick said he should try to iron out the kinks of the game this weekend, because they have a meeting with a potential investor next week. 

He pushes away from the desk and towards the window on the rolling chair to investigate. 

The houses across the street don’t appear to have been affected, the lights still glowing through the drapes. 

He blinks, hesitating, before standing and unlatching the window. He peers over the ledge slightly, trying to discern whether the downstairs neighbours have any power. They haven’t been properly introduced yet, they only moved in a couple of weeks ago and Ace has been wrapped up in working on the game and hasn’t approached them yet. He was planning on swinging by his mom’s house to get some make-up cookies for them.

A sharp knock on the door startles him into suddenly ducking back through, thunking his head on the frame as he goes. He winces and cradles the sore spot as he stumbles through the dark apartment, only to stub a socked toe on an end table. 

He hisses a curse as another knock sounds at the door. 

‘Yeah, be right with ya!’ he calls, in what he hopes sounds friendly but comes out in a more strangled voice, as he tries to shake out the tingles now shooting up his leg. 

Ace involuntarily squints against the pain as he finally reaches the door, wrenching a hand through his hair in attempt to tame it down from where his grip on the back of his head has disturbed it, before opening the door. 

In the low-light of the balcony leading to his apartment door is a woman. He’s spotted flashes of her red hair through the window a couple of times over the past few days. She’s kinda shockingly beautiful up-close. Hair catching the slants of streetlight that make it down this side and glowing amber, stark against pale skin and her eyes, cool and blue as they assess him. Momentarily, he’s super glad the duplex’s lights are out because he feels his cheeks heat slightly under her gaze.

‘Oh,’ she says bluntly. 

Ace’s eyebrows rise as he drops the hand at the crown of his head. 

‘Hey?’ he says, tone rising at the edge of the word like a question. 

She shakes her head slightly, like she’s stirring herself from whatever her mind has snagged on. ‘Sorry, you’re just not what I was expecting. I’m your downstairs neighbour. My name’s Nancy.’ She punctuates her greeting by thrusting her hand out for him to shake.

He steps across the threshold slightly so he can take her hand. It’s June, but her fingers are slightly chilled against his.

‘I’m Ace… Not what you were expecting?’ he says as he shakes, before dropping back so he can lean against the doorframe.

Nancy clears her throat. ‘You’re very quiet up here, was expecting someone a little more…’ Her hand waves and her lips pinch as if she’s not sure how to end that sentence. 

Ace shrugs his shoulders, the corners of his mouth lifting in the smallest smile. ‘I work from home, spend most of my time in an office chair.’ 

Nancy nods like this makes sense. ‘Okay, the blackout,’ she says suddenly, all serious and business-like, ‘may have been our fault. Was our fault. My roommate, Bess, was doing… uh, a work thing, and might have blown a fuse or two. She’s calling an electrician now but we’re not sure when they may be able to come out. So I wanted to say sorry for the inconvenience in person. And apologise for not saying hello sooner.’ She finishes with a blown out breath. 

Ace shrugs a shoulder again. ‘No worries,’ he says coolly. It kind of was a problem, but with the way Nancy’s not meeting his eyes, he can tell she’s embarrassed and he doesn’t want to further that. ‘In fact,’ he murmurs, digging in the pocket of his sweatpants for his phone as his brow notches, ‘I can send a message to my buddy, Nick. He’s good with this kinda stuff and could probably come on over tonight, save you some time and some money.’ 

‘Well, I would greatly appreciate that, if you don’t mind,’ she says, eyebrows raised in question. 

‘Course not.’ 

‘Well, in the meantime, if you need any candles or anything, Bess has a few… thousand to spare. As long as you don’t mind your apartment smelling like candy cane or a pumpkin gumdrop whatever, please ask. Or if you need a package collecting or anything, any favor really… We owe you, after this. A chance at a second first impression would be great too,’ she laughs self-depricatingly. 

‘Nah, this one works. It was good of you to come up and explain, appreciate it.’ He waves his phone a litte, ‘I’ll let you know if Nick gets back to me.’ 

‘Great. Well, uh…’ She smiles. ‘I’ll see you around, Ace,’ she says as she strolls back towards the steps leading down to her apartment, not breaking eye contact until she reaches the top step.

‘Guess you will, Nancy,’ he calls after her.

Looking forward to it, he thinks.

Hmmmmmmmm. I think I really do prefer writing AUs. And I think it's for the same reason many other people like writing AUs - canon is just damn good, there's not a ton I feel like I want to change! Almost all of my canon-compliant fics are set post-canon, with a few little missing scenes. I'm just overall so happy with canon that I feel like there's not as much I want to play around with! AUs, though. I can hit them boys with anything, and it's so fun to decide what bits of canon I want to preserve and adjust to fit - it's just a challenge in creativity, every time, and I love it! Canon era fics are super fun but there's a reason all my longfics are modern AUs!

Oooh, I'm very hyper fixated on "I will survive" covered by Post-Modern Jukebox in a 40s Jazz style. I just love that specific era of music in jazz, I don't know what to say. Everything about this song has me in a bit of a tizzy because I've been working on something related to it recently and the verse:

I happen to really love a particular video essay by Super Eyepatch Wolf regarding what undertale did to the internet because it's just such a fun and entertaining dissection of how a fandom I used to be a part of behaved and grew beyond its original expectations into something so widely known and self sustaining. I picked my new name because I wanted a name that reminded me of light/the sun or something that sounded like you'd hear as the name of an angel or a celestial body. I just wanted to evoke the presence of something like that when you heard it so upon hearing it, there would be a nice warm vibe.

"Getting Dressed up for you Feisty Werewolf Boyfriend". I have to say, I actually do like getting dolled up for things and I like attention so when this combined both of those things, then I was sold and it just has some great lines in there from Milo and his accent comes out in the sweetest of ways + THE LAP TEST!!! Never wanted to find my ass in someone's lap that fast in my life.

I'm gonna be honest, it's Vega. I can't sit still and listen to him, I think he's very interesting and that's he's got such a good setup for his role in the redacted universe but outside of his BAs, I don't care for him much. Like, yeahhh, It's not that I don't like him, I just don't care for him.

Gods, I have not watched a TV show in a while, or a movie…I've read books but I just don't do it as often because I have things to do…hmmmmmmmm, I'm gonna probably out myself as a marvel fan because I can still tell you shit about the movies, shows and comics if asked. I've ingrained so much of it into my mind that it's second hand knowledge. People know I'm tired if I start rambling about anything that's brought up. Like I'll go into a tangent about fucking cheese just to not have to sleep at all and it's really just like that.

I don't go to gas stations very often given that I don't get a lot of car rides and I don't own a car so…yeah…the last one I went to was a shell gas station and I had a coke with me and that was…a month ago? Yeah I think.

My fave playlist would have to be one I made for Sweetheart because of all the songs I placed on it. There's a lot of songs I put on there that I relate to and the energy I put into building it was meant to evoke that of someone who was somewhere close to being a mystery and a badass whilst also having gifted kid trauma and being a mischievous person that gets love sick pretty hard. The song I'd say that did start that playlist tho was "Who is she" by I Monster just given how much it really spoke as SH to me, making them seem like such an alluring but complex mystery that was both so close but so out of reach. It just hits for early SH to me and I love it so much for them to be seen as something that has an enticing presence but is one revered as an entity beyond understanding.

If you're talking about redacted playlists tho (because I got confused) then it's the seer obscura playlist. There's so much lore about seers in between there and I find Morgan absolutely charming so it's a fun mix of me getting to know lore and getting to know a person which feeds my ever curious mind in the best way possible.

Hmmmmmmm…Don't judge me, but I do actually really like hearing about scary urban legends/stories/mythology. I don't know what to say about it? I love the thrill of getting scared about something that may or may not exist and being immersed in everything about the mystery and fright of it all. That's why I like stuff such as TMA, Eldritch horror, Malevolent, SCPs and horror.

I am an artist/writer that picks up new interests and hobbies like a cat lady picks up stray cats. I love pushing the limits of what I can do to see how wide of a skill set I can give myself just because I both love the hobby and because I find the process of learning it all and experimenting with the hobby interesting. I also am polyamorous and love dating Sims which is ironic because of the fact that they usually make you pick one person to be with but I like going through the different routes just to see what everyone is like.

I don't know why it's so funny and cute, but I just love the idea of taking someone who lives and breathes horror and pairing them with Milo, that big, fucking, scaredy wolf.

That's not the only reason I like y'all as a pair, of course. The fandom vibe seems to be that Milo loves big band jazz/swing music, and I am inclined to agree. A cat lover deserves another cat lover, someone that will love Aggro. In the end, though, can't you just imagine Milo listening to The Magnus Archives? He'd jump so high in the air, even though there's so few auditory jump scares. I can just hear him in my head, griping "How does this Jonathan Sims motherfucker come up with this bullshit? And who names their main character after themself? Who does that?"

Though, in a way, I can see every Redacted boi in a poly relationship of some sort and form, Milo is definitely my favorite to headcanon for that. There's something about his character, charm, and playfulness that, I think, would allow him to be matched with anyone and maintain this natural, easy-going chemistry, which I'll touch more on in the Runner-Ups segment.

So this was really fun to consider, because my criteria for this was not just who's a good match for you but also who's a good match for you and Milo? Lasko comes first to mind, because @friendlyfaded invaded my brain like a gorgeous, intelligent invasive species and convinced me they'd be lovely together. Their contrasting extro/introverted natures would complement each other, and they'd both be terrible babies when it comes to horror which amuses me deeply. I'd also consider Asher as he and Milo have an established history and rapport that could transition into a beautiful romantic relationship. Asher's Enneagram type, the 9w8, would help, as I think it makes him an excellent beta and would make him a really good partner and mediator.

Okay, so they go around the world and race each other. Some places they race are ProblematicTM. There is a race on Saturday that determines the order they start in and the proper race is on Sunday, it usually lasts several hours. The amount of laps varies depending on how big the courses are. Races used to be super dangerous but they are better now because of improved safety features, a famous racer still ended up in hospital for ages because metal went through his head about hmmmmmmmm I think I was in late secondary school so I'll say eight years ago (okay, technically I got that last bit of info from my best friend whose family was into f1 and was worried about him, instead of osmosis from my dash). Some of the racers are cinnamon rolls, too good for this world, too pure, whereas others are EVIL, are cocky and are unkind to other racers. Some people ship the racers and write fics about them etc, whereas others prefer not to. There is lots of drama in F1 between the racers and fans will often feel quite strongly about their faves and how they are being treated. At the moment I can only remember Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, however I think there are young Dutch and German racers that people feel quite strongly about. I think there is a sort of younger F1 league that racers race in before they get old enough to join the main league. I think Hamilton has been a divisive figure however some stuff happened around him wearing pride merch (tho I think this was others as well) and also taking the knee like footballers do.
