seeing this poll makes me wonder how many of the people who voted yes really did "catch" someone or just think they did bc they believe it was about them but it really wasn't.

bc personally i've never 'caught' anyone (i have those anxious moments from time to time but tbh if I suspected someone was being snide/passive aggressive about me i probably just wouldn't follow them?)

but I can never stop thinking about this one time several months ago here on tumblr that someone reblogged one of my vagueposts with a very angry, hurt response and i was like, I'm sorry, but this was not even about you? but I'm sorry you read it and assumed it was and felt hurt by it?? and then they never acknowledged my reply. really strange behavior lol and i can never forget it, alternating between feeling quite bad that the person was hurt even if it wasn't intended, and feeling frankly a little annoyed that they were egotistical enough to assume it was about them and have this big "call out" moment when it literally was NOT about them

like everyone says this but i think its so so accurate like he'd be perfect in an academic rivals or office enemies; he would tease and annoy you at any occasion and then realize he's fallen for you but won't admit it ever, and i think he'd become even more annoying when he realizes that he likes you just to suppress those feelings.

so errrm hear me out okay, it's the way he's so careful with stuff but he's also so secretive about his feelings i feel like when he finally gets himself to confess and you agree he just needs time. that time would be spent hiding every kiss and holding hands under the table and then walking back to wherever you need to go pretending you're still just friends when you're much more, but only you two need to know that.
