the whole fic was so fun to write! but from the prompt, i probably most wanted to write the whole convo with xl where mq reveals he's terrified of losing fx

i love when a character is really angsty and terrified of losing the person they love👌 so fun to write. also i loved writing all the mq & xl scenes actually, bc i love mulian/xianle trio 😭 i also really love having xl be the supportive best friend in fengqing fics and the one who just Knows what's up with fengqing. i also had fun having xl tell mq to "just tell him" like how he told fx that in my first ever fengqing fic AKSJKS

★ what was the hardest scene to write?

tbh, the ending 😭 after writing all the delicious angst, i wasn't sure how & where to end it. especially after id made mq so angsty about how fx probably would never reciprocate his feelings, i wasn't sure how mq would react to fx suddenly reciprocating,, still not sure if what I wrote was a bit ooc in the sense of mq confessing so easily. and i kind of cut the fic short a little even though they could have gone on bantering for a long time, bc i was only planning to write 3k but it ended up 7k and i was running out of energy/steam djdhk so yeah i struggled with the ending and worry that it was a bit abrupt or that it switched too drastically from angst > comedic banter

answered this here on my other blog! im actually very curious if I have a distinct writing style bc idk if I do and I try to vary it when it's a different genre or different character's pov 🤔

aside from what I wrote in my answer in the other post, thematically id say maybe if a fic is angsty but ends hopeful with lots of emotional hurt/comfort? or sometimes another character telling the mc that they are loved or not a bad person? i really like writing those kinds of fics. just emotional "maybe i was wrong. maybe im not inherently unloveable and maybe happy endings are actually possible" kind of endings, after a lot of angst. also lots of nostalgia and reflecting on the past vs present..

ive also had readers tell me they can feel the emotions of the characters in my fics or that even my fluff fics make them cry so maybe that's smth distinctive?

(usually i only make a fic anon if it's smut or its a fandom i don't want to be perceived writing, or if it's Really really bad)

Started writing: I've been writing on and off since middle school, and have been posting works since that time on quotev <3 i actually still use quotev to this day and im so thankful that it was a safe space to write fiction, fanfiction and participate in random writing challenges :)

Started blogging: I starting blogging here around 5 years ago, using this acc to just bingeread fics and repost art! i didnt originally plan on writing on here until I read a few HQ fics and ichiruki fics from bleach on fanfiction.net that had me like..,,in awe, I wanted to replicate that awe and here I am.

Followers: i've been around 179/180 when I was more active around 4-3 years ago but have been on hiatus up until this month so now im at 113 LMAOODSBHDSBJ HELPPPPP followers did mean a bunch to me in the earlier years but now i'm just happy i enjoy my own work

Communication: ahahaa,,,about this,,,as of late I have been going nonverbal more often and just been a lot less social. The later is for no reason beyond not wanting to give anyone the illusion that I am very active here esp bc I havent been publishing work for such a long time. but now that I've mentioned it here and once I get my tags reorganized, I'll reblog a lot more...prepare to be sick of me.

Likes: I actually was surprised about how much more interest people had in headcannons than fics or blurbs but that aside I don't really have an opinion on likes but to those who do leave likes on my work, I appreciate it a bunch :)) likes used to help me define how much people enjoyed my writing style/the characters which is sooooo wrong and quite a damaging mindset to have. I don't share this sentiment nearly as much as I did in middle school thankfully but it does suck when I feel like i'm the only one that enjoyed smth i cooked

Requests: for a long time I got such little request, my inbox deadass had tumbleweeds skipping past everytime I opened it but then around the time I was beginning to feel burnt out here...i actually got a bunch...(i hate it here) a lot of the requests are so cute and sweet, I'll fulfil them in my own time and space :) but i appreciate them soooooo much i love silly billies in my requests

Writing: the hate love relationship I have with writing...i have quite a lot of ideas but putting them into works is....something else HELO doesn't help that I've got ADHD and keep getting ahead of myself when writing...but yeah I have been writing things as of late that Ive been enjoying and playing around with diff au concepts (which im quite excited for) that aside, one of the ultimate contributers to my hiatus was the change in environment and in myself a few years ago. Many of my friends happen to be ace and a lot of my other friends at that point in time had aversions to affection? strongly disliked verbal affection, physical affection, you could name it and they were not about it. It did actually effect my behavior in a sense where to this day I instinctively hold back on hugging hand holding, arm linking etc. and it feels so weird now bc some of my friends now are the opposite LMAO its very jarring, the sudden change and realizing that to make my writing flow better I would put myself in the situations and id do the same with dialogue which made writing for characters i didn't feel much for harder to digest, and constantly writing romance prompts also made things hard for me because it felt quite repetitive and made me lose touch with what writing was for me which was like the final straw for me at the time. Some things have changed since then, especially my life cirumstances and preferences. you guys can request as you like but I hope that there is understanding if i'm unable to fulfil the requests, some of many of my works that are romance may have other genres with it like thriller, mystery, fantasy or villainess concepts, and/or historical time period fics. and since my program is keeping me busy asl I wont be able to update as much as I hope but i'll likely be more active now that there are some things cleared up :))

idk if you remember but for a cursed sunday a while ago (i think it was your blog, not sure cause tumblr's search function is horrible) i sent an ask about drarry smut with magic acid that they drank and all that, and then today i also i sent one about spencer reid from cm...and-and dogs...

anyways! im here with more horribleness because im bored and the weight of the sins i have witnessed are too great for me to bear on the own (disclaimer: i do not condone any of the stuff ive talked about, and i do not wish to shame any fan writers bc just cause someone writes fucked up shit doesnt mean they personally think its ok and sending hate to someone you dont know is bad.)

teensie weensie 12 year old me was confused about my gender and looking for genderbent!harry potter fanfic to read. i stumble across a fic that says 'harry grows feline parts' in the summary, assuming the author made a typo and it was supposed to say feminine and click on it

NOPE!! he actually just grows cat ears and a cat tail. since i'm incapable of quitting stories, i read on even though i didn't particularly want to and my gut was giving me a bad feeling (i shouldn't listened)

harry is still at the dursleys, and the abuse is even more than in canon but nobody knows. snape is sent to fetch him and grumbles about it for a bit but then gets there and sees harry literally seconds away from death on the floor. he grabs him and goes to the headquarters where everyone is waiting. he gets healed, they give him some water but then tie him down to a chair and start questioning him about what happened at his house. he refuses, but then feels himself telling them anyway against his will, bc, plot twist, they fucking spiked his drink with truth serum without telling him.

so after they're done doing what is basically the magical equivalent of roofying and forcing him to give details about his bad home life he was not at all okay with talking about yet, he grows /another/ cat tail right next to the first. this is not explained outside of a couple lines about how its a genetic thing on his mom's side (btw, i dont remember it all perfectly, so plz cut my some slack)

insert 12 yo me's eyes bulging out of their head and quickly scrolling up to re-check the tags and being horrified that i somehow missed the snape/harry tag on it. what prompted this? oh, just a small little scene (/s) where snape basically jacks harry (who is still a minor /and/ one of his students) off but with one of the cat tails instead of his penis because?? because??

anyways, harry is (understandably) upset at everyone for the whole tying-him-down-drugging-him-and-forcing-him-to-reveal-information-he-was-not-ready-to-reveal situation so he decides to dip, change his appearance, and go into hiding under a different identity while staying at some hotel or smth.

there's a random subplot where he gets with draco, but as his secret identity whos is like,,,scottish i think and red head instead of himself and draco doesn't know?? however, when they're in bed right after finishing, the order (who have been trying for months to find him) burst through the door and catch him, then reveal his true identity. draco kinda just shrugs and says he would still be up for a second time because, rivals or not, harry was good in bed. harry has the exact same though process about draco and agrees, before draco leaves and doesn't come back into the plot ever again. (this is all happening in front of all of the other characters, who are pissed at harry for?? idek?? running away from them???)

so, they get mad at harry for a bit, there's some arguing, and then snape tells everyone to leave the room. he then proceeds to spank harry, bare skin on skin, as punishment and to get him to come back and join the order. i think someone cums, but i don't know for sure and idk who it was.

they finish up, exit the room, tell everyone harry isn't going to act out anymore, and thats the end. thats it. no explanation of the cat features, no reprimanding of /any/ of the characters' actions, no follow up on harry's emotions and thoughts on this, nope. nothing. the saddest part was prob that he was geniunely just,,,happier as his secret identity and doing nothing and enjoying the small things for months before the order made him come back.

btw, this was a oneshot and like 8k words i think??? i remember finishing and feeling unsatisfied cause i had to read all that and not even get a proper resolution. anyways, hope this was cursed enough for you. (sorry that its super long, i just didn't know how to condense all of this into something shorter)

It was currently a Wednesday afternoon, the shop had been quite empty since it was nearing closing time except for a few people, a few people being you and Osamu.

"Here, try this one." The black haired man places the plate with a single onigiri in front of you. Your mouth suddenly watered upon seeing the new dish. "What's this one?" You pointed at the delicious looking onigiri.

"It's shrimp mayonnaise." He says with a hint of amusement. Osamu leans on the counter, watching you take a bite out of it.

"It's so good~!" You said, mid-chew, the flavors were indeed amazing. He chuckles and pats your head, messing with your locks. "You said that about the previous 12 ones."

"But it's still soo good!"

“Okay, so, what’s the best- what I mean is- the best, BEST tasting ones? You can’t say all of them.” He pressed and laughed, knowing you’d answer all of them were the best.

You and Osamu had been experimenting with onigiri flavors lately since he wanted to expand his menu. It was a difficult decision to make, picking a favorite was hard because you liked them all, to be honest, you liked everything Osamu made. 

You clicked your tongue in frustration, "But, out of all of the things we tried, I think...these were the best." You pointed to the plate of your favorite picks. He hums and nods.

"That's settled then. Thanks for helping out, Y/n." Osamu smiles softly at you as he starts to clean up. "Of course, I'm your wife." You laugh out as he pecks your forehead. He shakes his head with a chuckle and continues cleaning. 

"Oh, I almost forgot." Osamu stops in his tracks.

"Hm? What is that?" You ask, watching him walk back to the kitchen and to shortly come back with an unusually large plate.

"Eh?! What's that?!" Your eyes were surely as big as saucers right now.

"I have one last thing for you to try."

Placed right in front of you was a massive onigiri, nothing you ever seen before. You looked up at him in disbelief and laugh nervously. “What...”

"Atsumu wanted to pitch in his idea and came up with this." He sighed, putting his hands on his hips. "It's fatty tuna onigiri."

"Honey, I don't think I could eat all of this." You laugh lightly, looking at it from all sides. "How about we share it? It'll be easier that way." You suggest, pushing the plate towards him.

"Alright. I haven’t tasted it either." He somehow breaks the ball into two and feeds you the other half. There was still some left on the plate, it was just that big. 

He shoves his half into his mouth and he makes a face, as if he was thinking something. You on the other hand was quietly chewing, trying to get the whole thing to fit in your mouth. The flavors were great as usual but the sheer size of it was hard to eat. How the hell could Atsumu even eat all of this? 

You look at him for a second and laugh loudly, covering your mouth. “Huh?” Osamu looks at you confusedly as he swallows. You point to his mouth, which had a lot of stray rice littering on the corners of his mouth. “Here, I’ll get it.” You offer, swallowing. He bends down to your height and lets you swipe the pieces of rice on his face. 

“Thanks.” He says, turning to you. “But you have something on your mouth too. Do you want me to get it?” He smirks as you nod. He slowly leans down to your height again and unexpectedly steals a kiss from you. 

Osamu cups your cheeks as he deepens the kiss, you hum and melt into the kiss as well. He suddenly slipped his tongue in which surprised you, not in a bad way, not at all. It was starting to get steamy, both of your hands were roaming in all sorts of places but you suddenly remember where you were and you weren’t going to let yourself do it in his shop, maybe one day (LOL) but not right now at least. 

“H-hey! Was there really anything on my mouth?” You break the kiss by putting your hands on his chest, both of your lips puffy and wet. He chuckles and shakes his head. “I really just wanted to kiss you.” Osamu says smirking, straightening up. 

You huff and turn away but turn into shades of red soon after. Osamu wraps his arms around you as if to say ‘sorry’. You looked at him softly and laugh. “I’m kidding. I loved it. Where’d you learn how to do that?” He shrugged, not knowing either. 

“Show me more of that when we get home, so I could try it out myself why don’t you?” You say suggestively. The tips of his ears started to redden upon hearing your proposal. You both laugh at the same time and look into each others eyes lovingly.

“Well, anyways. Is Atsumu’s monster tuna onigiri a go or...” Osamu raises an eyebrow and smiles at you. 

“No.” 

“Oh thank god.”

Hi hii~ If its okay for me to ask, what works are u currently working on? I'm looking forward for your future works and I just wanna know what we're going to expect next bc im curious af (ﾉД`) Sorry if this is too much huhu

ooh i have lots of drafts with ideas so idk if i can explain them all, but i’ll explain a bit about the ones i’m currently working on without giving too much away!!

my favourite wip rn is a hospital fic about kuroo. i don’t wanna explain too much about this one bc there’s lowkey a reveal at the end, but it’s supposed to be sad and has mentions of illness + d*ath. i’m not saying if anyone dies, or if it just mentions it because i don’t wanna spoil the ending, but i’m really excited to finish it! i will say that the lyrics in the song “listen before i go” by billie eilish fits into it perfectly (i didn’t plan for it to, i realized it afterwards when my friend told me)

another thing i’m currently writing is a prompt request for makki! the prompts are “fall in love w/ me instead” and “u don’t know what ur saying”. the premise is basically that the reader and makki are best friends, and when y/n gets dumped makki suggests that they both go out for drinks (to forget what happened, obviously). as they’re drinking, makki drunkenly tells y/n to fall in love with him instead, and the fic just goes on from there

i have a prince!kuroo au that i’m halfway done writing. i’m not gonna say too much about it, but basically y/n is a rebellious princess who wholeheartedly hates her title, and when her parents try to find her a suitor she’s like “f no” and runs away for the night. later on, kuroo (her suitor) finds her and they both realize that they have more in common than they think (but it doesn’t end the way u expect it to bc i love twists)

finally, i have another wip about kuroo (wow, i might as well change my blog name to kurootetsurou) that i needa rewrite bc i don’t like the way i wrote it. it’s sad (again) and it has smth to do with fate bringing kuroo and the reader together (the sad part will make sense later)

i have so many drafts with other things tho. here’s what some of them are:

inked hearts (the multipart fic series that i posted the intro for)

the three fics that i announced for my 500 follower special (if u search “500” on my account and scroll down, u’ll see the three fics i announced)

an au involving bokuto + glitter (it’ll make sense later)

a smau crossover between two things i like (not saying what), but idk if anyone would even read it so i’ve been holding off on it
