inspired by this post
this was my attempt at trying to keep it somewhat cannon compliant lol sorry i know it seems rushed and it's probably not my best work lmao
drabble starts after the cut!
enjoy :3
it had only been a couple of months since the games, and gihun had been in what one would call âa very dark place.âÂ
in the span of basically a week, he had met 455 other people that were in the same situation as him: broke, in debt, and ready to basically resign to the mercy of whatever the collectors had for them. who he didnât expect to see, was his dear friend, cho sangwoo. the pride of ssangmun-dong, graduate of SNU, standing in front of him, in the same tacky, teal-ish green tracksuit, the number â218â plastered on his chest.Â
in the end, 454 of those people had died.
after the horrors of it all, he and sangwoo returned home, and eventually they found themselves regularly coming round each othersâ houses, sharing meals, talking about the people they had lost during that week in hell. one could say that they were acting strange, maybe even as if they were good memories, but considering the only person that would believe them was each other, this is how they decided to work through it.Â
then, one day, gihun realized that they truly had a bond that no one else would understand (probably a trauma bond), and that he was also⊠in love with his childhood best friend.Â
even more recently, sangwoo confessed in a drunken stupor.Â
âgihun-ah. i canât help but feel love for you,â he slurs. âbut, like, as more than a friend."
he felt the same.
gihun just blankly stares, in his own drunken state, and grabs sangwooâs hand.Â
âme too, sangwoo.â
now, theyâre sitting at the dinner table in their shared flat, music playing after their late dinner. they had gotten lost in some sort of conversation about the front man, and how much they hated him. they desperately wanted to uncover his identity and were planning on working together to do so. they wanted to bring justice for all the people who had perished, and they also wanted some closure of their own.
âgihun, letâs dance,â sangwoo stood up from the table and walked around to the other man, extending his hand and waiting for a response. they had a random playlist playing on the small speaker in their kitchen, a song they didnât recognize with a soft melody currently playing.
âhey, i donâtââ gihun was cut off by sangwoo grabbing his hand and tugging him out of his chair to bring him to the center of the dimly-lit kitchen, the only light sources being a lamp in the far corner of the living room nearby and the candles on the table. sangwoo takes gihunâs hands and wraps them around his waist, and he wraps his own around the back of the otherâs neck. âsangwoo, you know i donât dance.â
the two of us go round and round in the air // after a long nightÂ
âshhhh, just shuffle a bit. itâs easy, watch,â sangwoo says as he begins to guide the both of them back and forth, a small smile decorating his features. they go like that for a few seconds in place before he begins guiding them to slowly turn as well. gihun looks into his eyes and cracks a small smile.
yourâfootstepsâon top ofâthe clouds // your candy-likeâeyes are just like a dream
gihun continues to look at sangwoo, love brimming in his heart as he continues to guide them around and humming to the tune playing in the background.Â
a ticklish voice, feather-like hands // i pray that you'll stay forever
âsangwoo, where do you think we would be if it wasnât for the games?â gihun asks, the smile falling from his face, his expression turning somewhat wistful.
sangwoo also looks pensive for a moment, contemplating his answer as they sway.Â
âiâm not sure where i would be,â he lies. he knows where he would be, but his dear gihun doesnât need to know. âwhere do you think youâd be?â
gihun is quick to respond. âi would have probably died. the, um, loan sharks said they would have my eyes and liver, and probably even my kidneys.âÂ
sangwoo falters a bit at his answer, disbelief coloring his expression before he smiles and even laughs. âyou, uh⊠you definitely have a way with words, gihun. iâll give you that,â he says through a chuckle.Â
like this, don't wake me up, deceive me sweetly // in my dreams
gihun cracks a smile of his own, dropping his head onto sangwooâs shoulder, resting his head near the crook in the otherâs neck. he takes a deep breath, inhaling through his nose and smelling the faint fragrance of bergamot and musk from this morningâs shower and spray.
we will be happily forever after (in my dreams) // i'm so ecstatic that i can't open my eyes
suddenly, gihun feels himself crying; but thatâs weird⊠the tears arenât there. he looks back up at sangwoo and smiles, some kind of melancholy feeling filling his chest, almost like heartbreak. mourning, maybe?Â
âi love you, sangwoo.â
sangwoo tightens his grip, bringing gihun closer and grinning his signature crooked smile.
like this, don't wake me up // lock me in your arms, oh, oh
âi love you too, gihun,â he retorts.
in my dreams, you love me back
then, over sangwooâs shoulder and off in the corner of the living room⊠the lamp starts to look weird.
in my dreams, you love me back

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Spread the self-love â€ïž
Thanks @freesidexjunkie! I have only four works up on AO3 but I have more than a few WIPs so I'll choose one of those for the 5th. I'm terrible at explaining my thoughts behind stories. I just sort of write them? Here is my attempt at explaining them.
1. In Consultation With Spirits - At the start of All New Faded for Her, you can have a dialogue with Solas where he admits to having no friends. That set me to wondering where a man like him would go if he needed relationship advice. The Fade. I didn't think he would always seek those spirits out. Sometimes they would find him. I paired each stage of the romance with the spirit I felt he would most likely meet- Wisdom, Love and Regret.
2. And Yet - I've always had a soft spot for this piece. I wanted to write something from Solas' point of view reflecting on his guilt for getting involved with Lavellan and hurting her. I wanted it to be lyrical and dreamy like Solas, which is why the refrain "and yet" keeps popping up.
3. Cold Comfort - This story has gone through many iterations. It is also my first attempt at adding smut to a story. Whether or not the Inquisitor and Solas had sex was left open. I've always wondered what might cause Solas to cross that line. In his romance scenes he always seems to get himself under control before things can go too far. So, I felt it would have to be a very conscious decision on his part. I also liked the idea that Solas would be a very tender lover. This was what I came up with.
4. An Elf Walks Into a Tavern - Part 1 of Where Wolves Fear to Prey. I was fascinated by the idea of Theneras and Varric getting together to trash their exes. When it came to writing it though, I realized that Theneras' confused feelings about Solas would make her less likely to want to talk about him. The entire conversation between Varric and Theneras then became more about her avoiding the fact that she is still in love with Solas and not being very successful at it.
When Lovers Call in Dreams - This is a WIP. The third installment in my Where Wolves Fear to Prey series. It is post-Trespasser. In it my Lavellan, Theneras, confronts Solas in the Fade after an attempt on her life. I want to explore the jumbled feelings the pair have for each other and how those feelings might affect their actions going forward.

SaL anon (I love my official tag, thanks! đ) back to talk about Smell. I really love this one since it's actually about the memories we hold but using such a visceral reminder of how they can be triggered. Using again fire and ash imagery to illustrate how we try to hold onto them is just gorgeous. And if course there's the Malex if it as so much of their relationship is rooted in memory. Also Alex saying Michael smells like rain (one of the few good things in S2) feels like this song.
Hello my friend! The whole senses album is *stunning* but Smell is a fun one. Itâs soft but bright sounding with the guitar and then the strings and high piano which are always lovely and the vocals are gentle and wondering with a few swells but overall a dreamy quality which is perfect since this song is about memories and how our sense of smell is tied to them. (Fun side note, I usually google the lyrics but some of them didnât look quite right so I pulled up the actual website for Sleeping at Last and looked at the entry about this song and itâs got some super fascinating info âI made a rule that NO lyric in this song could repeat. Every line is essentially about faded memory, and trying to go back, so it felt appropriate to never repeat...I recorded some guitar swells that represent breathing- it's meant to sound like inhaling, exhaling. (thereâs also a track of some very quiet breathing throughout. Because I think it's interesting that the only way to smell is by breathing in!) So there are some music facts for you all!)
One of the things I love about Malex fics is a lot of the time writers mention one or both of them âbreathing each other inâ and the way the smell of the other person makes them feel safe and home, or in the more angsty fics, how things like a rain storm make Alex miss Michael. I think itâs interesting how the lyric right at the beginning
triggered like a trip wire every time i breathe it in
is less about comfort and more like a surprise that may not be entirely pleasant because unfortunately, memories arenât always good, and the following lyrics have that fire/ash imagery
like a time machine rebuilds the past, my memories return. like remembering the ashes before they burned.
it is the friction that lights a match, desperate attempts that make it last. so i hold my breath for as long as i can
This hits me in my lost decade Malex feels of them trying to hold on to something but each time knowing how it was going to go at the end. For being a brighter sounding song the lyrics (as always) pack a punch. Weâre hit again with this feeling of loss, (like when you smell something and get a punch of feeling that disappears just as suddenly) and the smoke imagery (which is interesting because every time I hear that line, I swear I can smell smoke. Itâs one of those smells that just hearing about triggers my senses), and all the Malex feels about Michael feeling abandoned when Alex leaves, and Alex hating to leave Michael but also wanting him to be safe. Also it invokes the idea of them trying to burn this thing between them down every time with their cutting words. (Thanks Bed on Fire anon, these two asks dovetail nicely)
it vanishes against my will, the light goes out, my heart goes still, and just like that, i believe in ghosts.
time and space are at my back performing disappearing acts, but now i canât escape the smell of smoke
The next bit is more of the way things are every time Alex comes back. They have both been trying to lock up those feelings and memories, but each time they are in each otherâs orbit, all that feeling and emotion comes crashing back
the research says that the only way to keep memories in tact is to lock them away and to close the door until countless years have passed. i guess that explains why the strangest things can conjure up the past, and forgotten time will find its long way back.
as thin as air, as light as snow some combination of the unknown, but it doesnât matter, i just know i need more.
And of course that feeling like they are both just waiting, waiting for the time to be right, Michael waiting in Roswell to watch over Isobel and never moving forward, Alex waiting until he is sure he can take his father down and keep Michael safe.Â
cause i feel like iâve been sleeping through the better part of this, laying dormant through an endless winter that doesnât even exist
But as always, the song ends with hope which really hits me in my Malex feels because even after everything they have endured, they both still have hope.Â
a memory clear as a bell, a story i will try to tell but maybe this time, without words
Oh SaL anon, you picked a good one today!Â

I can see you
Author's note:
First, I never thought I would write a fic after almost two years later. I had this idea after watching a fanmade video about Arthur and Harleen falling for each other. I had fun while writing this, since Arthur is a completely new character (not following the comics). Please note that this is written purely for amusement and I don't profit from it.
Second, sorry for any typos. English is not my first language (Chilean Spanish for the win, everybody!). I hope you like it.
_________________________________________
Warnings: angst, self hatred, a bit of swearing, sexual themes and stalking.
Words: 1.730
Summary: Arthur Fleck doesn't live. He barely manages to exist, devoid of any bond. Until one day, a woman reminds him of how much of a human he is.
_________________________________________
He had seen her several times, but he never had the courage to talk to her. He usually avoided her when she was too close to him.
Arthur knew himself too well to know what would happen: his hated laughing fits. Therefore, he preferred to love her from distance, without her noting his existence. It was better this way.
The first time Arthur saw this young woman was in the hallway. She was going down the stairs to the seventh floor of the building. He cherished every move she did. This stranger danced while listening to music, thinking no one would notice her. She shook her figure as she mouthed passionately the lyrics of whatever song was listening. Arthur hid near the wall that divided the halls, and thus, the apartments.
He glared at her like a predator. His mouth watery caused by the hunger she woke within him. Arthur swore he could feel her in his arms, dancing vehemently to a song. He wondered during long periods of time how it would feel to touch her skin.
His lust was a loud, thundering storm that kept troubling his already cursed mind. But in the outside, the silence suggested indifference.
It kept like this for months. Arthur had also yearned for innocent things, such as a smile or even a kind word from her. He constantly fantasized about her and the guilt and regret fought after the lustful desires roamed through his fractured psyche. This was too much for him to bear. He wrote about the woman in his journal, dedicating pages of misspelled but honest thoughts. Arthur found a new way to cope with insomnia.
It was a rainy day when his feelings took another radical turn. Arthur returned to his flat after another shitty day of work. He headed towards the elevator, pressing the button to open it. He waited patiently. The bell rang and the sliding door opened.
"Fuck!", he hissed lowly when he saw her. She was carrying a bag and had her hair done in buns. Arthur thought she couldn't be more beautiful.
"Hi" she chirped, grinning at him.
"Hi" was all Arthur could reply after his failed attempt to keep his gaze in the ground. Was she actually talking to him? The beloved stranger noticed a trace of blood in his lips and sweetly asked:
"Are you alright?"
He remained silent for a few seconds, studying her expression. It was so kind and sincere.
"Yes".
"Are you sure you're okay?" Her question echoed through his mind. Even her voice turned out to be as smooth as her appearance. Arthur inhaled deeply.
"I am, miss. Thanks for asking" he replied puzzled, trying to figure out why would she even care.
The door opened and she politely waved goodbye to him and wishing him well. Arthur didn't give a verbal answer but he certainly waved back to her.
Arthur smirked. And his gesture did not disappear until he arrived home.
He built a routine in his free time. If he couldn't be with her, he was satisfied enough to watch her. At night, he usually followed her to the now empty playground. The woman was swinging in a rope made out of clothes stretched and extended in what seemed a big, dome-shaped cage like. The blonde had the habit to exercise there, not bothered by some bystanders (mostly men) who whistled at her.
Despite the jealousy that grew within him, Arthur understood it wasn't strange. He surely wasn't the only one after her affections.
He took a liking to this new scene: watching her move as if she was practising a gymnastic routine was fantastic. Her movements were so delicate, yet sensual. She seemed to go along with the air, soaring with it.
But she didn't notice, obviously. The girl would probably had gone running and screaming for help if she had discovered him.
Arthur was wrong. He was so wrong.
One day, he sneaked around wearing his yellow hoodie to preserve his identity. He was outside the building, hiding in the shadows. There she was again: beautiful and unreachable. Her long, platinum blonde hair fell like a waterfall. Arthur was amazed. She moved her arms in a graceful way once again, to flow through it in a twirl that swinged her back and forth. The girl seemed to smile before the risky move, congratulating herself in silence on this apparent progress.
Arthur laughed out loud, amazed. But he soon clasped a hand in his mouth. She turned around immediately to his direction. Arthur felt the panic and tried to run.
She called him. Not berating him but genuinely interested. There was no violence in her voice. Arthur argued with himself over and over about if this was a good idea from the beginning. The man was walking around like a disoriented dog while grasping his curly locks, out of fear and guilt. He stood still for a while, without saying a word.
He then realized the woman kept calling him.
Arthur tightened his eyelids, fighting the urge to run away. He kept still during long seconds until he finally decided to face her. It was now or never. Little did he know that she was just a few feet away from him.
Once Arthur turned around, he almost tripped taking a step away from her. He stared at the young woman: she showed no signs of fear or disgust. In fact, she seemed curious about him. She clawed at the fence that separated the playground from the building and dead end alleys. He imitated the action, staring directly at her eyes, blue like summer sky. She smiled at him, her perfect teeth shining like pearls. And it was in this moment when Arthur could pay more attention to her attributes. The girl in question was the owner of an astounding beauty: expressive blue eyes, pink full lips which formed a sweet smile. And that was only her face. Arthur was infatuated. Her face lit up once her lips curved into such expression. Was she hypnotizing him?
He wouldnât mind, of course.
Arthur stared at her mouth, and wonders how it would feel against his own cracked, dry lips.
But her body was another wonder. She wore a white, long, sleeveless shirt adjusted to her body shape, leaving nothing to imagination. God, if he only could trace his fingers down her hips he'd die happily.
He continued his private appreciation watching the grey shorts that left her most of her thighs uncovered. He then darted his eyes up to her hair. Her long, slightly wavy strands of hair were dyed in two different colours: the right side was strawberry pink from the half down. Same with the left side, except the colour was a electric blue. It added a dreamy touch to her.
Arthur pictured himself playing with her hair, doing little curls with it. It looked so silky.
"You've been enjoying my show, have you?"
Arthur looked up to her again.
"Yeah" he muttered, ashamed.
"Why the long face, babe? It's not like I'm upset", the woman said.
Arthur stared at her again, but out of confusion.
"Are you not upset?"
"At all" she quickly replied, "I like when people see me, actually".
Arthur felt a cold shudder in his back. It was in this moment he sensed something in his chest. He perceived it as the natural reaction to the first conversation he held with someone else without the other significant being weirded out of him. This common trait was enough to give him hope of a new, happy chapter on his mirthless life.
"Yeah... You know, I like when people see me too".
The woman nodded and leaned her face into the fence. Arthur took a deep breath and it didn't take too long to emulate the pose. She was bold enough to let him come closer to her as if she wanted him to kiss her.
"What's your name?" He hummed against her face.
"Harleen Quinzel", she answered "and you are...?"
"Arthur" he rushed to give his reply, "my name is Arthur Fleck--".
A chuckle escaped his throat.
'Oh, no. Not now, not now please', Arthur silently begged as his loving expression fade away so shame would take its place.
His brain of course showed no mercy.
The laughing fit lasted almost ten minutes. It was the first time in years that he truly believed he was going to die of suffocation. He struggled with choking more than two times every minute. Arthur wasn't completely drawn into his fit. He looked for a fraction of seconds at the girl. Harleen shocked at first. After a few moments, she joined him believing innocently he was laughing out of amusement.
"You know, you can tell me the joke so we can laugh together".
Arthur wasn't able to silence his noisy curse. He only covered his mouth, shaking his head trying to make her see the desperation in his eyes. Harleen's facial expressions morphed from fun to actual worry when Arthur's hand reached his throat in an useless attempt to breathe, still clawing at the fence with the one that left free. Her eyes widened in horror. Arthur felt too powerless to even show her the card explaining his fucking condition. It was alright if she wanted to run away. He already accepted his shameful defeat.
However, to his surprise, she nimbly climbed up the fence to help him. The stalker was too weak to keep standing but when he was crumbling into the ground, Harleen helped him to stand up.
She spoke to him, reassuringly. And she spoke so many things he couldn't process while taking him to a bench to contain him. So far she was a few seconds ago and now she stood with him throughout the painful laughter.
"I'm sorry--" Arthur tried to hide his face in his arm but Harleen seemed to understand... Or at least took pity on him.
The laughing fit finally ended and Arthur got a card from his pocket. He remained silent, disgusted with himself. The blonde took it and read it carefully. Her serene gaze towards the object comforted Arthur slowly. Once she finished reading it, she returned it to his owner. Harleen seemed truly surprised... Or maybe scared. He didn't know and felt too embarrassed to even talk to her. One thing was for sure:
Arthur Fleck never felt uglier in his life.

â” pairing: mark x female reader
â” genre: angst, suggestive, underground rapper au
â” warnings: cursing, alcohol consumption, unhealthy relationship themes
â” word count: 6.1kÂ
â” summary: you didnât know what you and Mark were; you werenât enemies nor friends, you werenât exes nor lovers. but what you did know was that you still loved Mark, and you never stopped loving him.
â” a/n: happy belated birthday mark !! this is a part two to this blurb, and is inspired by the lyrics to billie eilishâs âparty favorâ. this is my first full fic, so i hope you all enjoy it and feel free to leave some feedback too!
August 2 - the significance of the date was written in the scars of your heart, forever known as, one: Markâs birthday, and, two: what wouldâve been yours and Markâs two year anniversary. Ahh, Mark Lee.
The boy that became all of your firsts, kisses and the like; the boy that harnessed the musical talent of a professional or a prodigy, despite his small, underground career; the boy that was just a shy bean beneath his tough, street-wise exterior; the boy that knew your darkest secrets and told you his; the boy that promised you happiness till the end. But he was also that same boy that took advantage of you and lied to you; the boy who stole your heart, and never gave it back; the boy who was better at lyrics than love. He was such a mystery to you, like a code you couldnât quite seem to decipher.
Even after the abrupt ending of your relationship, Mark was always there, with you, as if nothing had happened between you two. From the evenings where he was out cold after a long night at the bar, calling you to pick him up, to the early hours of the morning where he needed some feedback for his newly produced tracks, he somehow managed to keep you in his life, relying on him the way you relied on oxygen. Mark had you wrapped around his little finger - you would do anything just to get close to him again - and you both knew it.
There was one slight issue, though, which was the fact that you didnât exactly know what you two were to each other. Yes, there may have been some occasions where Mark was drunk out of his mind, and you would both end up naked in his bed the next morning, like lovers.
But there were also times where he would ignore you for weeks on end, the only updates you received from him were Instagram posts with his rapper friends, paired with cryptic captions that were clearly targeting you, like exes.
However, no matter what Mark did, you would always come crawling back to him and his addictive love, because you were trapped in his trance, and didnât want to be released from it either.
Once again, you were stuck in that limbo of Mark not acknowledging your existence for another month - or so you thought.
As you mindlessly shoved spoonfuls of Cheerios (your failed attempt at a healthy breakfast) into your mouth, you stared at the cursed date on your lockscreen, when, all of a sudden, your phone began ringing, the default tone echoing throughout your empty apartment. The name that flashed on the screen touched a nerve deep within you, as if your senses had been awakened; one of those senses being your infatuation with Mark, which was rekindling and creating sparks in your stomach as you hesitantly answered the call and put it on speakerphone.
âH-hello?â You hated the way your throat closed up and your voice dwindled into nothing whenever you spoke to him after eternities of no contact whatsoever.
âOh, hey, Y/N! Howâve you been? Iâve not spoken to you in, like, what, I donât know, itâs been, like, ages now, hasnât it?â Mark leaped right into the conversation, starting it off strangely welcoming, too comfortable for your liking. You nodded slightly in response to his question, before quickly realising that he couldnât see you right now.
âUhh, yeah, itâs definitely been a while now,â you let out a timid squeak, which was originally meant to be a polite laugh, except the mere thought of Mark clouded your thoughts and refrained you from thinking straight, or acting normal.
Trying to distract yourself from your awkwardness, you absentmindedly started playing with your spoon, stirring it in the bowl- which now only contained some milk and tiny specks of Cheerios - while listening intently to the boyâs next words.
âSo, you know how itâs my birthday today, right?â he paused to let you answer, to which you hummed a small âhappy birthdayâ in response, âAhh, thanks, well, if youâre free tonight, I managed to privately this really cool nightclub from 9pm onwards and I was wondering if you wanted to join us?â
Youâd be lying if you said that Markâs invitation didnât cause you to almost have a heart attack, so it took you awhile to process the information he had just thrown at you and come up with a decent reply, âOkay, first, of course I can come, I wouldnât miss it for the world! Who do you think I am - itâs summer, I have no friends, and I think Iâve watched âLove, Simonâ one too many times this summer,â you joked.
Before you could continue, the Canadian boyâs bubbly giggles cut you off, as he sighed, saying, âWow, you really havenât changed that habit, I see.â The steady beat of your heart suddenly accelerated, the fact that your ex remembered your only hobby, an unusual one at that, which he found out about almost two years ago, sent shockwaves through your entire body.
âMhm, yeah, that movie never gets old,â you joined in with his laughter, then carried on with what you were going to say once you heard the contagious chuckles quieten, âAlso, whereâs the nightclub? And who do you mean by âusâ? Iâm just curious, you know?â
You tried your best to not sound intimidated by the potential answers to your questions, but, with your knowledge of who Mark liked to surround himself with now, you couldnât help but feel out of place around them.
âThe nightclub is called âSun and Moonâ, itâs owned by one of my older friends, Taeil, and, itâs near the, uhhh, I think itâs close to that one shopping centre? But I can send you directions later, even if you canât find it, you wonât miss it, itâs covered in neon lights and itâs massive! And, did I mention that Taeil hyung makes the best cocktails? I canât wait for tonight!â
The boy seemed ultimately fascinated with the place from the way he spoke about it, and your lips curved into a small smile at his excitement. âDamn it,â you thought to yourself, âwhy is he so cute? About things like this? Ughhh, I love him.â
Markâs endless chatter continued while you pondered over how adorable he probably looked right now, âAnd, as for whoâs coming, itâs only a small group of friends - the Dream boys, my best mate Yukhei and his Chinese buddies from uni, oh, and Chaeyoung and her non-celeb friends are coming too!â
The first few guests he listed were absolutely fine - Yukhei was your best friend, also a mutual friend of yours, and was the one that introduced you to Mark; his friends were strange, but bearable though; while the Dream boys were a group of young artists Mark had the opportunity to join, who were soon going to debut as rappers with him - however, your brows furrowed at the unfamiliar name, confusion written all over your face.
You werenât jealous, no, just⊠curious as to who exactly this âChaeyoungâ was, âOh! Okay, thatâs great! But, uhhh, whoâs Chaeyoung? Iâve never heard that name before?â The boy let out a dreamy sigh, as if he was enchanted by the mere thought of this person, âSon Chaeyoung is a senior from our record label, better known as Beastie Babe, thatâs her stage name.â
Despite his explanation, you were still baffled since you had no idea who she was. The weird, subconscious âhuh?â you let out told Mark that you still didnât understand, so he elaborated on the matter, âI shit you not, she is the most talented, influential rapper of our generation! Her debut single âBDZâ literally dominated both national and Western music charts and her recent collaboration with Cardi B helped skyrocket her to fame, and Iâm under the same company as her? Like, I still canât believe that thatâs what we have the potential to become. Sheâs just so amazing-â
A greedy feeling engulfed your chest and your heart began thumping uncontrollably as Markâs words of admiration filled your ears. Somehow, out of anger or whatnot, you had managed to throw your spoon across the kitchen, grunting quietly as he failed to stop rubbing in your face the fact that he was talking to other girls now.
â-the moment I walked into her recording studio instead of the Dreamiesâ was the best moment of my entire life! Weâve actually been spending a lot of time with each other since then, and, you know what, Y/N? I used to have a huge fanboy crush on her but, uhhh, now that I actually know her, I think that I-I like her? Do you think I should say something tonight? Drunk Mark is definitely better with the ladies than Sober Mark,â he joked, stopping right after he heard silence on the other end of the phone.
You almost screamed at his last statement - âDrunk Mark is definitely better with the ladies than Sober Markâ - well, of fucking course he would say that, thatâs exactly how he ended up asking you out on his birthday two years ago, while he was drunk.
âHow insensitive can that shitbag be! Thatâs our story, not yours and Chaeyoungâs!â you internally yelled at him, as you refrained from hanging up without another word. Luckily, your self-control got the better of you and you said through gritted teeth, âHaha, defo, Iâll see you tonight then, Mark, good luck with that.â
And with that, you slammed your finger on the red button, aggressively hurling your phone at the couch and cursing Mark under your breath. âJust fuck around with my feelings then, why donât you? While youâre at it, you may as well shove your successful love life into my face and ruin the smallest fragments of our relationship that we have left,â you mumbled, trudging over to your sofa to collect your phone.
Once you unlocked it, you went straight to Youtube, searching the name âBeastie Babeâ and playing her discography as you washed your limited amount of dishes. It crushed your already low self-esteem as you listened to the girlâs unique music, and you realised why Mark looked up to her so much and wanted to date her, she was so much better than you, more gorgeous, more gifted, she was the ultimate upgrade from you.
Those thoughts resurfaced once again as you stood in front of your full body mirror hours later, Chaeyoungâs catchy songs playing in the background, as you couldnât help but binge all of her music videos to try and gage the chance you had against her when it came to Mark. Turns out you had zero chance.
That girl was literally world-famous, her albums were sold out everywhere, and she had designer brands chasing after her, desperate for celebrity endorsement. Her self-produced music was mesmerising, something you had never heard of before, and her rapping was rhythmic and fluid, while her vocals were beautifully melodic.
Not to mention, Chaeyoung was stunning - like her stage name suggested, she did have the facial structure of a âbaby beastâ as her fans say, and her hair looked gorgeous no matter what style it was in, her chiseled cheekbones were always the main point of her look, along with her infamous, enticing caramel eyes.
Then, there was you. A college dropout who was surviving solely off of your parentsâ riches until they could find a job for you in their expanding business, you were the ârich kidâ that everybody shamed.
You didnât have anything like music in your blood, and you werenât particularly talented at anything, unless pessimism was considered a talent. And you definitely werenât gorgeous, you werenât anything close to it, which was justified as you scrutinised your outfit in the mirror, that made you look even worse than usual.
Initially, what you had chosen for yourself and laid out on your bed looked ideal, the black and white checkered skirt complemented the tight, white off-the-shoulder top and the black, knee-length high heeled boots, while the baby pink leather jacket tied the whole thing together, adding a splash of colour to it.
Now that it was on you, you appeared like you were trying way too hard - your exaggerated makeup looked disgustingly dark, the top showed off all of your curves and rolls, the skirt was a little too short for your liking and portrayed a slutty image that you werenât going for, and the boots were chunky and big, and didnât seem to match the rest of the outfit as well as it did prior to when you put it on.
You looked horrendous and you knew it, but this was the only thing in your closet that was even close to what those other girls would be wearing, the only thing that made you at least look like you could fit in with them.
Before you could change anything about it, you glanced at the alarm clock perched on your bedside table, showing exactly â21:00â, which you decided was the perfect time to leave.
Usually, with events, you would either plan way ahead of time, and arrive punctual and prepared, or youâd turn up almost an hour late, with a half-assed outfit and an empty stomach.
This time, however, you didnât know where you were headed, so you shouldâve left early, but you got too paranoid, thinking up random instances where you would end up getting there before anyone else was, which would make you look like you were trying harder than ever to get Markâs attention.
The car ride to Sun and Moon was a daunting one - not only because you were twisting and turning down unfamiliar roads, relying solely on Google Maps, but, because you were jittery with nerves and anxiety.
Just thinking of walking all alone into the club to see a clique of popular musicians and their wealthy friends made you shiver in your seat, and the fact that you were extremely anti-social and very much intimidated by most of the partyâs attendees made it even worse.
Lights of almost every colour of the spectrum struck you as you parked your car by Sun and Moon, which was one of the most appealing and exciting clubs you had ever seen, not that you had been to many anyways. You braced yourself as you entered the place, breathing quickly and heavily, before pushing the door open to the booming, electrifying atmosphere.
You were immediately drawn to Markâs alluring figure on the dance floor, jokingly grinding against one of his group members, Donghyuck, and you assumed that the both of them had some pre-party drinks already.
Markâs black, patterned dress-shirt flowed down his upper body, the loose fabric of it accentuating the shape of his chest.
His wrists and neck were adorned in expensive brands of jewellery, his fingers laden with various silver rings, the golden glints of his watch twinkling under the bright, fluorescent lights - and his ebony locks were styled to exaggerate his forehead.
The matching black skinny jeans he wore made his legs look heavenly, it made it so hard for you to look away from him.
You shook your head, trying to rid yourself of the amorous thoughts flooding your mind, directing your eyes away from the attractive birthday boy to the rest of the room.
It seemed as if you were the last one to turn up, despite your worries, since you spotted Yukhei and his friends attacking the bar, and who you managed to identify as Chaeyoung and her friends surrounding and blatantly flirting with the Dreamies.
She was even more breathtaking in person - her platinum blonde bob framed her effortless makeup, which consisted of fuschia lips, long, luscious lashes, shimmery eyeshadow, and sparkling highlight, and her striking outfit, a lime green and black patterned tube top and matching bootleg pants, made her look magnificent.
If she wasnât your ex-boyfriendâs current crush, she wouldâve been yours, because, damn, she was hot.
You were broken from your daze when one of Yukheiâs best friends, Hendery, hollered your name and gestured for you to join them, after he noticed you standing blank and confused by the entrance of the club.
âYoooo, Y/N!! Itâs been ages since I last saw you and you look great, boo! Come here, you gorgeous little bitch,â Yukheiâs obnoxiously deafening voice reached you from the opposite side of the room, calling for you even though Hendery had already grasped your attention in the first place, causing you to shyly scurry towards his friend group, the heavy stares of almost everyone in the room following you.
As you made your way over to them, your best friend engulfed you into a bone-crushing hug, his long limbs entangling themselves around you, not letting you get a word in first. When he finally pulled away, it was then that you caught a full look at him.
âThanks, Yukhei, I really wasnât sure about this but Iâm glad you like it. Also, you look absolutely amazing!! Like, itâs only been 3 months but I feel like youâve gotten even taller,â you exclaimed, proceeding to compliment your friendâs stylish outfit.
The plain black-on-black aesthetic he was going for may have seemed boring, but he pulled it off so well - the tight-fitted, black long sleeve was paired with black leather pants and decorative chains hanging from his belt loops, and his newly dyed navy blue hair was slicked back to reveal his forehead.
He let out a squeaky laugh, one that only you managed to get from him, as he rested his arm on your head, commenting, âYeah, I think I actually have gotten taller.â You rolled your eyes at his teasing, before interacting with Yukheiâs friends, who were a lot more welcoming than you expected.
You had only ever spoke to Hendery before, but Xiaojun, Yangyang, and Sicheng were all polite to you, contrary to their appearance and their reputation.
Yes, Yukhei and his mates were the typical rich playboys that you had previously assumed only existed in movies, with the designer loafers and belts they were wearing today.
But, they were just playful dumbasses who looked appealing to their classmates, and, to be honest, you enjoyed hanging out with them during the party, instead of lurking around the club, solitary and sombre, pining after Mark.
Oh yeah, Mark - the boys had been distracting you so well that you had forgotten about your ex that stood just four feet away from you, freestyle rapping with Jaemin and Jeno.
Surprisingly, you didnât really mind your lack of interaction with him throughout the night. It had only been two hours and you thought that you would be so desperate to just talk to him and fix things with him, but, in reality, you were having a blast with Yukheiâs friends, listening to their uni gossip and discussing your favourite music at the moment, they made you feel comfortable and welcome, something that Mark and his friends always failed to do with you.
As you decided to have yet another cocktail, you approached the bartender, but, before you could even open your mouth, you felt a tap on your shoulder.
Although you hadnât even seen the person, you knew exactly who it was, by the calloused fingers, from countless plucking of guitar strings, that grazed your skin, and the embarrassed clearing of his throat to gain your attention, you just sensed that Mark was stood right behind you.
Tentatively, you turned around to face the boy you dreaded to see, your cheeks flaming with rouge as he scratched his nape and locked eye contact with you. Your pulse quickened and you felt your stomach churning in your stomach, maybe it was just the drinks, or maybe it was his mere presence that excited and aroused you.
The scent of alcohol lingered on his body, and you could tell that it had already took a toll on him, by the wild twinkle in his eyes and the unsteadiness in his voice.
Despite that, Mark looked absolutely ineffable at that exact moment, the beads of sweat on his forehead sparkled underneath the colourful lights, and made him look ethereal and idyllic.
You panicked, creating multiple, unrealistic reasons as to why Mark wanted to talk to you right now, so the first thing your disoriented, intoxicated mind barfed up for you to say was, âSincerely, happy birthday!â
The god-like creation that stood before you sniggered at your outburst, âThanks, and thanks for coming too! I just wanted to ask if you could hold my watch for a bit?â
You almost choked at the simple request he had given you, clearly, he had other priorities, ones that didnât include facing you and everything that had occured between you two since you had last spoken, excluding this morning, âOh, oh yeah, uhhh, yeah, sure? How come?â
âAhhh, Dahyun just challenged Jisung to a dance-off and he almost flipped in excitement, he dragged me and the rest of the Dreamies with him to go against Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, and itâs already pretty hardcore, just look.â
Mark vaguely gestured to the dance floor, where Jeno was b-boying and Chenle was screeching to hype him up (even though the younger of the two was sober, he was still as energetic as ever) while Tzuyu was aggressively booing him and Chaeyoung was comically cracking her knuckles in preparation, âthis is a Rolex Submariner and I do not wanna ruin it âcause of a dance-off, yâknow?â
You laughed along with him, admiring the way he delicately removed the watch from his wrist, âOf course, Iâll keep it with me while you, uhhh, do that. By the way, whereâd you get this? It looks pretty good quality.â
He tossed a glance at Yukhei, then back at you, âXuxi got me this, he gave it to me last night so that I could wear it today! Did you think I bought it? I could never afford this on my own, ha!â
His drunken giggles were the only thing you heard and you couldnât help but sigh in disappointment due to Markâs casual manner around you.
You never thought that it would cross your mind, but you were beginning to wonder if he was completely and utterly over you this time.
âIâll be back soon, just give it to me once weâre done,â he added, before making his way back to the dance floor where Renjun was doing some eccentric moves you had never seen before.
Even from afar, Yukhei noticed the dim aura that surrounded you, so he approached you, while you were ordering your new drink.
âWhat was that about? What did he say to you?â he questioned you, handing you the shot glass that the bartender had just placed on the surface. Accepting it, you took a swift swig of the drink, letting the liquid ease down your throat and settle in your stomach before answering, âHe literally just wanted me to hold his watch, thatâs it.â
âThatâs it?â
âYup, and I told him âhappy birthdayâ, but, besides from that he just kinda, you know, avoided everything that I wanted to talk about, and ran away to them,â you nodded your head towards Mark, who was now freestyling against Chaeyoung, a knowing smirk plastered on his face.
Your best friend wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close to his chest in a comforting way, to which you plainly let him do so, âOh, Iâm sorry to hear that, Y/N, as much as I love Mark, heâs been such a dick to you this entire time. I wish he wouldâve listened to me when I told him to choose to either stop stringing you on or to pick up where you two left off.
âBut, instead, heâs broken your heart time and time again, making you think that he still wants you, and needs you, when, in reality, Chaeyoung had him under her control the moment he met her, which was literally two weeks after you broke up, by the way. I wish that youâd look past that image Mark had built of himself in your head and heart, and see the real him.â
It was shocking to hear these wise words come from your currently drunk friend, as those werenât the types of things he would usually say when he was clear-headed.
You wiggled out of his endearing embrace, audibly exhaling in frustration as your head was invaded with sudden realisations and epiphanies, âYouâre right, surprisingly, Iâll try and talk to him later, maybe when I hand him his watch back. But, hopefully, thisâll be the last time I have to even look that boy in the eyes, I donât think I can keep doing this any longer.â
The curves of Yukheiâs lips turned upwards into a proud smile, âThatâs my girl! Now, how about you play this one drinking game that Sicheng found with us? Will that make you feel better?â
It did make you feel better, a lot better, and you were enjoying yourself so much that you had missed the fact that the impromptu dance battle had come to an end and its participants were carelessly swaying with one another, too exhausted to move their bodies properly.
You noticed that there were two specific people missing, however; it seemed that Mark and Chaeyoung had slipped out while you were playing with Yukhei, Sicheng, Hendery, Xiaojun, and Yangyang.
Only then did you recall that Markâs exorbitant watch was still in the pocket of the pink jacket you had removed and left unattended on a chair. You excused yourself from the boys and ran to your jacket, retrieved the Rolex and proceeded to search for Mark to return it to him, and talk to him.
You had examined each and every bit of the club closely, yet Mark was nowhere to be seen, so you decided to explore the exterior, perhaps he needed to get something from his car, or something?
It was difficult to convince yourself that he hadnât left to get some âalone timeâ with Chaeyoung, which is what he had told his friends when he had done the same with you two years prior, but the idea of it kept recurring to you as you ventured out into the cold night.Â
The similarities of your current situation and the time you had run away from Markâs underground performance a week after your breakup were disturbingly accurate - except this time you were running towards him, instead of away from him, you were stronger now and wanted to face him, not cower away from him.Â
He was making your confrontation pretty hard, though, because, at the moment, you couldnât even find Mark, so you came to the conclusion of trying to call him. Multiple times. And, yet, he still didnât answer, and you hadnât advanced any further with it. You still didnât give up, as you pressed his name in your phone again, and wandered down the street, glancing side to side every so often, just in case you had missed him.
âHey, this is Mark, Iâm busy at the moment but Iâll be back! Leave a message while youâre at it, I guess, haha,â Markâs recorded voice echoed from the speakerphone yet again, you had heard it so many times that you had pretty much memorised his awkward little ramble. You sighed as the tone beeped for the sixth time in the past few minutes.
A disgruntled growl left you as you proceeded to search for the unreachable boy, your phone clutched in one hand while his watch was still in the other.
It was extremely tempting to just take it home with you and return it to him the following day - but if you were really going to permanently detach yourself from Mark like you promised yourself you would, you had to avoid anything and everything to do with him, or else you would give up and let yourself be pulled back into his trance.
After seeing the way he acted around Chaeyoung throughout the night, however, it wasnât very likely that youâd come crawling back to him any time soon.
You pressed the contact name once again, holding your phone up to your ear hopefully, awaiting a response. Turning the corner as you neared your car, you laid eyes on a sight you wish you never had done, and you swore you almost dropped your mobile along with your jaw right there on the sidewalk.
There he was: pinned up against the graffitied wall of the narrow alleyway, arms coiled all over Chaeyoungâs waist, hips, and ass, lips locked with her swollen, red ones.
You couldnât even gasp at the horrific scene, you were in another state of shock, and your entire body was quivering and recoiling in utter pain and heartbreak.
Tears pricked at your eyes the longer they lingered on the moaning mess that was Mark, but you couldnât rip them away from him. âShit, Chae, I think I love you,â he breathed out, as she left open-mouthed kisses from his jaw to his collarbone, her hands threading through his velvety locks.
That used to be you, kissing all down his neck; that used to be you, making his heart race and limbs melt into jelly; that used to be you, the one he said âI love youâ to.
âHey, this is Mark, Iâm busy at the moment but Iâll be back! Leave a message while youâre at it, I guess, haha,â the tone played again, making you jump out of your skin, âperfect timing, Y/N, what if he heard it, right now, coming from your phone!â you huffed, dropping Markâs watch on the ground near the alleyway, bolting away from the couple, towards your car, grabbing the handle and pulling it open as soon as you reached it.
As you slumped into the driverâs seat, you realised that you had accidentally pressed the voicemail button with your shaking finger, instead of the âend callâ button.
âFuck, no, I donât wanna record a voicemail to Mark,â you thought aloud, until a voice in your head suggested, âbut wonât this be the last time youâll ever speak to him?â
It was with that thought that the gears in your head began turning - it was right, this would be your last time talking to him, you could finally tell him all of the things on your mind, the emotions he made you feel, the burdens he put on you, and he didnât even have to respond.
You could simply block him forever - because he wouldnât care, right? You didnât even need a response or an apology, all you wanted was for him to know what he put you through, what you had to suffer through because of him.
And itâs not like that would upset him, he didnât care about you the way you cared about him, he didnât need you the way you used to need him, since he had his (possibly) new girlfriend instead of you. So you decided to record your last message to him.
âUhhh, okay, this is really weird but Iâll just get it over and done with. So, Mark, this is Y/N and by the time you get this, your numberâll probably be blocked, this is the last thing youâll hear from me.
âIâm guessing youâre kinda confused right now, because youâre probably listening to this while youâre either drunk as fuck or hungover, but, long story short, Iâm fucking done with you.
âLet me just remind you of what happened tonight, or last night, depending on when youâre hearing this. You invited me to your little celebration after, what, a month of not contacting me? And then, proceeded to tell me that your crush would be here, even though you knew all too well that we had too many loose ends that we hadnât tied yet.
âThen, I get here, and suddenly you donât even greet me, or acknowledge me, just like you had been doing for the past few weeks, while, of course, youâre glued to Chaeyoungâs side.
âMeanwhile, I was there, waiting to see you, since we hadnât hung out normally since the break-up 3 months ago, and I knew, well, at least I thought I knew, that there was still a connection between us, or something.
âBut, instead, I spent the entire night following Yukhei around and talking to his friends, and having the oh-so-great opportunity of watching you eye-fuck Chaeyoung the whole time. And, finally, when you do eventually notice me, you ask me to hold your Rolex? Really, Mark? I didnât even get the chance to say anything more than âhappy birthdayâ to you.
âNow, I donât know how youâre feeling about this whole thing, because, apparently, youâre now Chaeyoungâs newest boy toy, but, did you ever stop and think about how this has affected me? How this whole thing has affected me?
âBecause, if you really didnât notice Mark, I was still fucking in love with you - even after you left me - and I never knew why you gave up on us. Personally, I thought we were amazing together, I thought you were my soulmate, you were the only person that made me feel loved, the only person I loved, but, you didnât seem to think so.
âMaybe itâs because youâre my first love, Mark, but I wasnât yours; maybe itâs because I thought that nobody else could replace you; maybe itâs because of your web of lies that I got caught in - but I felt like it wasnât over yet. It couldnât be, we would find each other after a while and resume what we had, and weâd be together forever, wow, I know thatâs cheesy, I think the alcoholâs getting to me now.
âSpeaking of alcohol though, there was another reason why I thought that we could pick up where we left off.
âDonât you remember all of those nights where you needed me to get you from the bar or the club, and drive you home? When you were so incapable of processing our history together that you just gave in, and let me fall in love with you all over again?
âYeah, those nights gave me hope, hope that it wasnât the drinks speaking for you the previous nights, it was you, and hope that you would realise what you were missing and come back to me.
âBut, hoping is no good. Youâve actually gotta follow through with your hopes and make them come true. Yet, I couldnât do that, since you always left me. You always disappeared without a trace, and then, suddenly, after three weeks or so, youâd be right back.
âBut, you know, I see it now, I see the truth. You never really loved me, you werenât lying when you said that, you loved the idea of me, the idea of having someone to rely on, the idea of someone else cleaning up your messes, the idea of someone to hook up with whenever you wanted.
âI saw that all throughout today, when you looked into Chaeyoungâs eyes, she pulled you in and you were lost in a swirl of lust, but whenever you looked into my eyes, you were so disconnected from me, and there was never any emotion.
âMark, Iâm not just your property, you canât do whatever you want with me! Iâm not your party favor, a mere birthday gift that gets thrown away after its purpose has been served.
âIâm Y/N and Iâm not yours, Mark Lee, and Iâm ashamed to say I ever was. If thereâs one thing you were right about, though, itâs that âhappiness is a lie, and it was only found in your tranceâ, but thatâs because you didnât make me feel true happiness.
âTrue happiness isnât being manipulated into thinking that you make someone feel good and that itâs the only thing that makes them feel good, and that they needed you - true happiness is being free from the people that do that to you.
âIâm sorry, that I didnât do what you wanted me to, Iâm not blinded by your fake love anymore so you wonât be using me any time soon. Goodbye, Mark.â
And, with a few swift movements of your finger, Mark was gone from your phone, and from your life. He was nothing to you now, and you were no longer his - and, wow, you never knew that you would feel so proud to be able to say that.

23: Darkher - Spirit Walker
youtube
Okay so I was listening to the album like over and over and over and over to write my Marius/Pandora fic So Falls the World. (The actual song So Falls the World is my #1 for the year actually LOL.) But like this whole album is just really wonderful dark spooky female energy and I just am in tears constantly at how lovely and amazing it is. So this song Spirit Walker is actually the intro track of the album and itâs just kinda like ambient and scary LOL but I super super super highly rec the rest of this album, itâs really good. Just really dreamy dark witchy lady music that for some reason has been adopted by black metal fans cause this is our vibe! And when I was writing that fic it really really really helped me get into the mindset to write Pandoraâs POV.Â
46. Starset - Starlight
youtube
This album is like absolutely the quintessential Sheith album, OH MY GOD. So like Iâve been reading and writing a lot of Voltron fic the last few months and Iâve gotten into this rituatl of listening to this album almost every day on my way home from work TO GET ME IN THAT SHEITH PAIN MOOD so that when I get home I can write. Sometimes for me like part of my writing process is listening to music and spacing out to daydream and develop my headcanons and isnât always the writing itself, so this album gave me a lot to think about when I was planning Zero Hour and has helped keep me inspired. AND JUST GOD THIS SONG WRECKS ME SO BAD.Â
I donât know what to sayBut Iâm going to want you till the stars evaporateWeâre only here for just a moment in the lightOne day it shines for us the next weâre in the nightSo say the word and Iâll be running back to find youA thousand armies wonât stop me Iâll break throughIâll soar the endless skies for only one sightOf your starlight
TELL ME THAT THIS SONG ISNâT ABOUT KEITH ALWAYS SAVING SHIROâS FUCKIN LIFE BECAUSE SHIRO IS HIS ONLY TRUE HOME IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE. HEâLL SOAR THE ENDLESS SKIES FOR ONLY ONE SIGHT OF SHIROâS STARLIGHT OKAY. Iâm fucken wrecked.
This album and song also remind me a lot of All the Things Money Canât Buy by @lysapadin which was an absolutely beautiful fic that made me cry and was like THE perfect Shiro that Iâve always wanted. ;.;Â
68. The Cure - A Forest
youtube
tbh I know I kinda slacked on writing Daniel fic this year but I can 1000% credit this song being so high in my charts because it reminds me of Daniel and I listen to my Daniel playlists like, a lot. LOL.Â
But this, imo, is one of those perfect Armand/Daniel songs that hits the trifecta of being like PERFECT VIBE, fitting lyrics, and period appropriate. Like itâs from 1980! Daniel totally couldâve been into this album when the Armand stuff was happening in his life. I hope he used to lay around in the dark listening to this and drinking while he had vampire anxiety!!!!!!!Â
And the lyrics are gendered but I think the concept is really good for them:
I hear her voice calling my nameThe sound is deep in the darkI hear her voice and start to runInto the trees, Into the trees, Into the treesSuddenly I stop but I know itâs too lateIâm lost in a forest all aloneThe girl was never thereItâs always the sameIâm running towards nothingAgain and again and again and again
90. Scala & Kolacny Brothers - Piggy
youtube
SCALA IS THIS AMAZING GROUP THAT DOES LIKE CHOIR VERSIONS OF CONTEMPORARY SONGS? This one is Piggy by NIN and it reminds me of Armand! This is again like, I know Iâve slacked on the Armand fic this year, too, but this is one of my Armand songs that I go to so that I can get in the Armand headspace.Â
And I didnât need Armand POV headspace for this one but I was listening to my Armand playlist while I was writing the hate-fucking prompt for Kinktober because it hinged on Santino and Marius both trying to navigate their grief after Armandâs suicide attempt so. :D
