arguing with arranged!gojo is difficult because heâs not used to arguing with women and youâre not used to arguing period.
it rarely happens, but when it does it gets really heated between the two of you. you pace around your room, huffing as gojo stands there with his arms crossed, nose flaring.
like that one time he found out that one of the new guards the brought in from the west was somebody you used to fool around with.
yeah that was bad.
âwhy do you even care!â you snap at him, and he canât find a plausible reason aside from the fact that he was purely jealous.
this guard that theyâd brought in from the west, much to your shock, was somebody you used to see in the late hours of the night. you never did anything frisky, just some shared kisses here and there.
but the moment you saw him, your whole demeanor changed. and gojo could tell. it took a bit of picking and prodding (which gojo is great at) but you eventually told him the story.
and he was not excited to hear it.
âi want him gone,â he tells you and you roll your eyes, shrugging indefinitely.
âfine,â you throw your arms up, âget him out. but what about those girls? you think i donât want them gone whenever we walk into one of those balls or those dinners? when i see the way they look at you? you think thatâs easy for me?â
âitâs different,â his tone is unwavering and cold.
you scoff, shaking your head in dismay.
âwhat? whatâs so different? that i kissed him? big deal!â you feel like you want to cry and yell and jump and scream at the same time.
because it was different. for you. because the men didnât seem to care that gojo had a new wife, or that he cared for her. but the ladies did. they gossiped in frenzied tones, batted their eyelashes at him even more as if that could cast him away from your spell.
so you didnât know why he cared so much about this one man. why it should matter to him when heâs had far, far more experiences than you.
you felt hurt that he doubted you, angered with his hypocrisy, and tired from spending the entire day ignoring each other.
âthis is going nowhere,â you mutter eventually, picking up your pillow as his eyes drop to your hands, âiâm sleeping somewhere else.â
âwhat-â
âand donât follow me,â you bite out, not even glancing behind your shoulder as you begin to sulk out of your shared bedroom to your old one all across the estate.
and sure, maybe youâre not being entirely fair. thereâs been some petty arguments when he bumps into one of his old girls, but it didnât hurt nonetheless when he accused you of lying, when the conversation of your old romantic life was just never brought up.
you wipe at the stray tears on your cheek as you slug down the stairs, sniffling to yourself as you curse your husband to hell and back, when a force unlike any other picks you up from behind.
âwhat?â you squeal, your body manicured over a strong shoulder, your legs near his torso, your eyes facing his back as you kick at him, âlet me go, iâm going to fall!â
âdonât make me laugh,â gojo murmured, one strong arm around your waist, the other around your thighs as he hauls you back up the stairs.
âi told you not to follow me,â you grumble, pinching his back but he doesnât react.
âyouâre funny if you think iâll let you sleep alone.â
your brows furrow, feeling the need to kick him, but also not wanting him to drop you.
it doesnât take long for him to reach your bedroom, opening the door with his free hand (unbridled strength if the greatest warrior of the north meant he could pick you up with just one hand) and plops you back on the mattress.
you prop yourself up on your elbows, looking away, hoping he canât see the tear marks.
because it did hurt. his words hurt you. they cut deep. and he notices, his gaze softening slightly.
âdonât cry,â he whispers, leaning down to trace your tears away but you swat his hand off of your face.
âthen donât make me cry,â you say with a heavy sigh, siting upwards, back slightly hunched.
you take a deep breath, rubbing at your eyes as you glance upwards at him. itâs been a while since the two of you had fought, and the first time over something serious, and he looks awful.
âi donât judge you for being with those girls,â you start with a heavy whisper, âyou did what you could to stay sane. but donât judge me for doing the same.â
gojo breathes deeply through his nose, blinking.
âyouâre right,â he says after a heavy second, causing you too look up in confusion.
he nods again, his big hand cup your jaw, his thumb rubbing your cheek as he catches the stray tear from the corner of your eye.
âyouâre right and iâm sorry,â he repeats, and youâve never had somebody agree with you before, âi justâŚsaw the way he looks at you andâŚi didnât like it.â
you offer him a small nod.
âbut he just looked at me,â you shift so that your resting on your haunches, hands in your lap. he towers over you, one hand going to cradle the back of your head.
gojo shrugs, like he canât put it into comprehensible words how he felt when that guard looked at you with hunger in his eyes. how only he was allowed to look at you with such starvation.
âi didnât like it,â he can only repeat, and you know he struggles with his emotions, spent years hiding them so that they wouldnât become his weakness.
âdo you want to sleep?â he finally asks you, and you slowly blink, trying to hide the tiredness from your face.
âiâll still be here when you wake up,â he offers and you crack a small smile, trying to hide it from him.
but your smile drops as you think, eyes darting up to his.
âitâs okay to not like something, and itâs okay to feel angry that you donât. but donât ever, ever, make me feel like that again because of it.â
your stare is unwavering, and he feels a certain sense of pride in seeing that. and gojo nods, one steady movement as he drops down to his knees, trying to be level with your gaze.
âyou have my full authority to strike me down if i do,â he promises, his hands cupping your face, his words serious but you canât help but giggle.
âgood,â you murmur, tugging slightly harshly on some of the strands of his hair as he winces, pushing you back onto the bed with the sheer force of his body, climbing up into you as he hold you close to him.
you let out another laugh as he acts like a bear cub, not wanting to move an inch away from your warmth as he cuddles into you, trying to finish his massive size compared to you.
the two of you laid in silence, a comfortable one, as he laid his head in your chest, hearing the steady rhythm of your heart.
âi am sorry,â he whispers, craning his neck to look up at you as he rests his chin on your sternum, âiâm sorry.â he says again, his words barely above a sound.
you blink again, moving some of the hair away from his face as you observe his sorrowful features.
âi know,â you whisper back.
gojo finds your hands, interweaving your fingers together, heart tugging when he feels your ring against his skin.
he brings the finger to his lips, pressing a soft kiss against the ring as you watch him silently. no other words needed to be said, no words left unspoken as he pulls you into his chest.
because no woman would amount to a sliver of you. and no man would amount to a morsel of him.

mother who stepped up
stepmom!lena oberdorf x mom!reader
summary: lena accepts you, and the mini-you
warnings: one mention of death, nothing too impactful to the story though. very long fic
youâve never been one for surprises. your life, at least recently, has been built on carefully crafted routines, ensuring that your two-year-old daughter, macy, is comfortable and happy.Â
dating? it was something you thought would come much laterâif at all. after coming to terms with your sexuality, you didnât want to date unti you were reassured that youâd be with the right woman for your daughter.Â
here you are, sitting across from lena oberdorf, a suggestion from your well-meaning friends, and even though you like her, thereâs something you or your mutual friends havenât told her yet.
everything had been going smoothly with lena from the start. she was charming, funny, flirtatious, and made you feel seen in ways you hadnât felt in a long time.
you didnât think you could get used to someone so effortlessly, but somehow, lena just fit into your lifeâexcept for that one secret you hadnât yet shared.
youâre sitting across from lena at a cozy cafĂŠ, sipping your coffee and listening to her talk about her game against wolfsburgâ a club she played many years ago.Â
itâs easy to get lost in the sound of lenaâs voice, the way her eyes light up when she talks about football. you nod along, smiling as she recounts a funny moment from practice.Â
for a while, everything feels perfectâsimple, like your lives are in sync. in the back of your mind, you know you will have to tell her about macy. the little mini-you that is currently coloring in her daycare class across munich.
the conversation shifts to lighter topics, and you pull out your phone to check a notification.Â
you sit your phone flat on the table and as youâre about to lock the screen, lena leans in, catching a glimpse of the photo that displays on both your home and lock screen.Â
your heart skips a beat when you realize what sheâs seeingâmacy, her chubby little cheeks, dimples, and wild curls staring back at you from the lock screen.Â
lenaâs brow furrows slightly, curiosity flickering across her face.
âaweee whoâs that?â she asks, her tone casual but with a hint of intrigue.
you freeze for a second, unsure how to respond.Â
here we go, you think, heart pounding. swallowing hard, you try to brush it off with a light chuckle.Â
âoh, thatâs little macy.â
lena tilts her head, staring at the screen for a moment longer before locking eyes with you.Â
âmacy?â she echoes. âis she⌠your niece or something? she looks just like you.â she smiles, clearly finding the resemblance cute.
you force a small smile, feeling your throat tighten. this is itâthe moment youâve been dreading.Â
âuh, no⌠sheâs not my niece.â
âoh,â lena says, looking at you, then back at the picture.Â
âthen, what, a cousin? a friendâs kid?â
you can see her mind working, trying to make sense of it. your fingers tighten around the edge of your phone, and you finally decide to rip the band-aid off.
âsheâs my daughterâŚ.â
lenaâs eyes widen, her gaze darting back to the screen, then to you. her lips part in surprise, but she doesnât say anything right away. she stares at the lock screen as if seeing it for the first time, really seeing it.
âyour daughter?â she repeats softly, almost like sheâs processing the words.
you nod, feeling the anxiety rising in your chest.Â
âyeah. sheâs turning two in a few months. macyâs my little girl.â
for a long moment, lena just looks at the photo, her expression unreadable. you watch as her gaze flickers between the image of macy and you, comparing the two of you.Â
âshe⌠she looks just like you,â lena murmurs, her voice almost in awe.Â
âi thought she was you for a second, like, as a baby.â
you let out a small, nervous laugh, trying to keep the mood light despite the tension knotting in your stomach.Â
âyeah, sheâs basically my mini-me. sheâs got my nose and everything.â
lena doesnât seem to hear your attempt at humor. instead, her brow furrows deeper as she studies the photo.Â
âwait, sheâs⌠really your daughter? like, you have a kid?â
you bite your lip, feeling the weight of the moment settle over you.Â
âyeah, sheâs mine. i know i shouldâve told you sooner, butâŚâ you trail off, not knowing how to explain the complexity of it all.
âbut why didnât you?â lena asks, her tone still soft, but thereâs something raw in her voiceâan undercurrent of emotion that you canât quite place.
you glance down at your coffee, swirling it absentmindedly. âi didnât know how,â you admit.Â
âi didnât want to scare you off. most people arenât exactly thrilled about dating someone with a kid.â
lena leans back in her chair, processing what youâve said. âyou thought iâd be scared off because youâre a mom?â
you shrug, feeling a little defensive but mostly scared. âitâs happened before,â you say quietly.Â
âpeople hear âsingle mom,â and they run for the hills. i just⌠didnât want that to happen again.â
lena is quiet for a moment, her eyes still on the picture of macy. she seems to be absorbing everything, and you canât help but hold your breath, waiting for her to say somethingâanything.
âis the father around?â lena says her thoughts out loud.Â
âoh no no no. umâ he didnât want anything to do with macy. he also passed away shortly after mae turned one. her father and i were never together or even had feelings for eachotherâ it was just um..â you trail.
âiâm very sorry about that.â lena says, looking up at you before looking back to the photo of your little daughter.Â
âoh no donât apologize.â you say.
there's a pause for a few minutes. its clear that you wanted to switch the topic away from macyâs biological father, who wanted nothing to do with her before his passing anyways.Â
lena looks up at you, giving your phone back with her expression softening.Â
âyouâd thought iâd run?â lena asks, a small, incredulous smile playing on her lips.Â
âbecause of this? because of her?â
you shrug again, not trusting yourself to speak. all your worst fears are bubbling to the surface, and you canât shake the feeling that this might be the moment it all falls apart.
lena reaches across the table, taking your hand gently in hers.Â
ây/n, sheâs beautiful,â she says, her voice sincere. âi mean, she really is a little version of you.â
you blink, the words not sinking in right away. âyou⌠youâre not mad?â you ask, your voice trembling just slightly.
lena shakes her head, squeezing your hand. âno, iâm not mad. i just⌠wish youâd told me sooner. i know weâve only been official for a week butââ she pauses, her thumb brushing over your knuckles.Â
âi get why you didnât, but⌠iâm not going anywhere. i like you. and now that i know about macy⌠i like her too. even if we havenât met yet.â
the relief that washes over you is almost overwhelming, and you feel your eyes welling up. youâve been bracing yourself for rejection, for lena to tell you this was too much for her.Â
though here she is, sitting across from you, holding your hand, and telling you that sheâs not going anywhere.
âyouâre really okay with this?â you ask, your voice barely above a whisper.
âmore than okay,â lena says, her voice firm but kind.Â
âyouâre a mom. thatâs a part of who you are, and thatâs okay with me.â
you let out a breath you didnât realize you were holding, your heart finally starting to settle.Â
âthank you,â you whisper, blinking back the tears. âyou donât know how much that means to me coming from you.â
lena smiles, giving your hand one last squeeze before letting go. âso, when do i get to meet this little mini-you?â she asks with a teasing grin.
you chuckle softly, wiping at the corner of your eye. âsoon. i just⌠didnât want to spring her on you right away.â
âwell, now that i know about her,â lena says, leaning back with a playful smirk, âi feel like iâm the one being kept a secret from macy.â
you laugh, the tension between you finally breaking. âi guess weâll have to fix that soon.â
lena grins, taking another sip of her coffee. âiâm looking forward to it.â
the next dayâ lena doesnât text much. you know that she is busy training at bayern but anxiety consumes you.Â
your thoughts spiral. maybe she changed her mind and realized that it was too much for her. maybe sheâs having second thoughts.Â
by mid-afternoon, youâre glued to your phone while macy is with her aunt (your sister), checking for any sign from her.Â
nothing comes, and your heart sinks.
as youâre picking macy up from your sisters, your phone finally buzzes. lenaâs name flashes across the screen, and you almost drop your keys in your hurry to check it.
lena: hey, can we talk later? iâve been thinking a lot.
you stare at the message, panic clawing at your chest. thinking doesnât sound good. you force yourself to respond.
you: sure. what time?
the reply is almost instant.Â
lena: i can come over tonight?
you hesitate. having her over⌠that means sheâll meet macy, and youâre not sure if youâre ready for that yet. you also know you canât keep her at armâs length forever. you type back quickly.
you: yes, come at 7.
you spend the rest of the afternoon trying not to overthink it.Â
as soon as macy is fed and bathed, your nerves start creeping back. youâre pacing the living room, glancing at the clock, when the doorbell rings.
macy, sitting on the couch with her stuffed miffy bunny and fluffy blanket, perks up.Â
âmama, door!â
you smile, ruffling her hair.Â
âstay here, baby,â you say softly, walking to the door.Â
you open it, and there she isâlena, standing on your doorstep wearing a black outfit along with a grey beanie, looking as unsure as you feel.
âhey,â she says, giving you a small smile.
âhey,â you reply, stepping aside to let her in. youâre about to close the door when macy toddles over, clutching her miffy bunny in her small hands. lenaâs eyes immediately land on her, and she smiles.
âthis must be macy,â lena says, her tone soft and warm.
you nod, watching as macy stares up at lena with her wide (readerâs color) eyes.Â
âyeah, this is her.â
lena crouches down to macyâs level, holding out her hand. âhey, macy. iâm lena.â
macy looks at you for reassurance before shyly reaching out to shake lenaâs hand.Â
âmiffy bunny,â she says, showing off her stuffed toy.
lena chuckles softly. âthatâs a cool bunny.â
you watch the exchange, your heart swelling with something you hadnât expected. lena looks so natural with macy, and itâs a sight you werenât prepared for.Â
you clear your throat, trying to shake off the wave of emotion.
âso, um, you said you wanted to talk?â you ask, motioning for lena to follow you to the couch.
she nods, standing up and giving macy one last smile before sitting beside you. macy toddles back to the couch, climbing up and sitting between your legs, still clutching her bunny as her small arms hug your waist.
âyeah,â lena says, glancing between you and macy. âiâve been thinking a lot since last night.â
you nod slowly, waiting for the bomb to drop.
âi know this is a lot,â she continues, her voice gentle but steady.Â
âand i understand if youâre worried about how iâll fit into your life, into macyâs life, but⌠i want to try.â
you blink, taken aback. âyou do?â
lena nods, reaching out to gently take your hand.Â
âyeah. i mean, i didnât expect this either, but i really like you, y/n. and if macyâs a part of your life, then i want to be a part of that too.â
you sit back, still reeling from the way the conversation unfolded. the tension that had knotted up your stomach starts to loosen, but you canât help feeling the need to set some boundariesâjust to be sure lena knows what this really means.Â
itâs too early in the relationship to assume anything, and you donât want to put any pressure on her, especially when it comes to macy.
taking a deep breath, you meet lenaâs eyes.Â
âi just want to be clear about something,â you say softly.Â
âi donât expect anything from you when it comes to macy. youâre not obligated to her, and iâd never force any duties on you. itâs still really early in our relationship, and i donât want you to feel like you have to step into a role youâre not ready for. if you just want to date me, thatâs okay. i mean it. however i just want you to understand that in a case between you vs. macyâ iâll always choose macy.â
lena watches you closely, her brow furrowing slightly as she listens. she leans forward, resting her arms on the table, and shakes her head gently.Â
ây/n, you donât have to put up walls.â
you bite your lip, feeling the weight of her gaze. âiâm not putting up walls,â you explain quietly.Â
âi just⌠i want to be fair. macyâs is the biggest part of my life, but sheâs my responsibility, not yours. i donât want you to feel like you have to take on so much at once. i donât want you to feel trapped.â
lena sits back in her chair, exhaling slowly. her eyes soften as she takes in your words.Â
âfirst of all, macy isnât a trap,â she says firmly, her tone leaving no room for doubt.Â
âsheâs your daughter. i donât see that as something to run from.â
your heart stumbles at her words, but you try to stay grounded. âbut itâs still a lot for you,â you press gently.Â
âbeing with me means being with macy too, and thatâs a lot to ask of anyone. especially this soon.â
lena reaches across the table again, her hand finding yours, warm and steady. âi get what youâre saying,â she begins, her voice calm but sincere.Â
âand i appreciate that you donât want to rush things or put pressure on me. but, y/n, macy is a part of you. sheâs part of your life, and if i want to be with you, that means iâm choosing to include her too.â
she squeezes your hand, her eyes locked on yours. âiâm not saying iâm trying to be her mom right away, or that i know how all of this is supposed to work. but i want to figure it out. because macy is important to you, and that makes her important to me.â
your heart swells, and you can feel the tears prickling at the corners of your eyes again. you hadnât expected this, not so soon, and certainly not with such certainty in her voice.Â
itâs like lena had already made the decision in her heart before you even started this conversation.
you blink back the tears, swallowing hard as you nod. âi⌠i didnât know if youâd feel that way.â
âof course i do,â lena says softly, her thumb gently brushing the back of your hand.Â
âiâm not scared off by you being a mom, y/n. it doesnât make me want this any less.âÂ
you take a shaky breath, overwhelmed by the depth of her words. âiâve never had anyone say that to me before,â you admit, your voice barely a whisper.Â
âitâs always been the reason people walk away.â
lenaâs eyes soften even more, and she moves her chair closer to you, her hand never leaving yours. âwell, iâm not them,â she says simply, her voice steady and sure. âiâm here. and iâm not going anywhere.â
the emotions well up in you, and for a moment, youâre speechless. you look down at your joined hands, feeling the weight of the moment settle over you. sheâs serious. sheâs really serious.
âthank you,â you finally whisper, your voice thick with emotion. âthank you for⌠for staying.â
lena smiles, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to your temple.
macy, oblivious to the weight of the conversation, leans against your arm, yawning as she starts to doze off.Â
you glance down at her, then back at lena, your heart full in a way you hadnât felt in a long time.
from that moment on, things between you and lena shift. she starts coming over more, spending time not just with you but with macy too.Â
at first, macy is a little shy around her, but lena is patient, never pushing too hard, just gently easing her way into your daughterâs life. it doesnât take long before macy is running to the door to greet lena with a grin, her little arms reaching up for a hug.
the first time macy calls her "obiâ, your heart skips a beat. it's a simple momentâyou're all sitting on the floor of your living room, surrounded by toys, when macy tugs on lena's sleeve, her big eyes looking up at her expectantly.
"obi, play?" she asks, holding out a mermaid barbie.
lena grins, taking the truck from macy. "of course liebe."
watching them together, you can't help but smile. itâs becoming clearer each dayâlenaâs not just here for you.Â
sheâs here for macy too. sometimes you joke that she is only here for macy.
as the years goes by, lena becomes more and more involved in your life. she starts joining you for bedtime routines, helping with bath time, reading macy her favorite stories as she grows older.Â
after lena, macy, and you move into an apartment togetherâ lena is for the tantrums, the messy dinners, the sleepless nights. sometimes, she will take the initiative so you can rest. the more time she spends with macy, the more it feels like she belongs in your little family.
three years after the important conversation, your life with lena feels like a dream.Â
macy is five now, full of energy and curiosity, and lena has been there for all of itâevery scraped knee, every preschool recital, every bedtime story. your home is filled with laughter and warmth, the life you never imagined youâd have when you were raising macy on your own.Â
now, as you sit together on the couch, macy fast asleep in her room, lena leans into you, her fingers tracing patterns on your hand. sheâs quiet, more thoughtful than usual, and you can sense somethingâs on her mind. she glances at the engagement ring on your finger, the same ring youâve been admiring for months now, and then turns to you with a serious expression.
âi was thinking,â lena says quietly, her voice soft in the dim light.
âabout what?â you ask, turning to look at her.
she hesitates for a moment, her hand pausing on your arm. âabout macy. and⌠about us.â
your heart skips a beat, but you keep your voice steady. âwhat about us?â
âi know itâs still early butâŚâ she says, her voice careful,Â
you blink, processing her words. âbutâŚ?â
she takes a deep breath. âonce we get married iâll be macyâs stepmom. something iâve been thinking about for a while. however i donât want to wait until then. i want to be a mom to macy. if youâll let me.â
the weight of her words settles over you, and for a moment, youâre speechless. youâd always hoped, deep down, that lena would want to be a part of macyâs life, but hearing her say it out loudâit feels overwhelming in the best possible way.
âi know iâm not her biological mom, and iâll never try to replace that, but⌠i love her, y/n. i love both of you. and if youâre ready for that, iâd like to be her mom too.â
the tears youâve been holding back finally spill over, and you reach up to cup her face, your thumb brushing against her cheek. âweâd love that, obi.â you whisper. âweâd love that.â you repeat in awe.
when macy starts calling her âmama lena,â after she turns sixâ your heart nearly bursts with love.
macy is seven now, and the bond between her and lena has only grown stronger over the years. she clings to lena in a way that sometimes surprises youâlike sheâs always seeking her approval or comfort.Â
itâs been that way ever since lena officially adopted her after turning thirty-one, and you and lena got married.Â
you remember that day so vividly, the moment the judge declared that lena was now macyâs legal mother. the joy on lenaâs face, the way macy had leaped into her arms, calling her âmamaâ with such pure excitement, filled your heart with pride and love.
it wasnât long after when lena got the callâan offer from chelsea. it was a huge opportunity, one that meant sheâd be competing in the womenâs super league. after a lot of late-night talks and some serious decision-making, lena accepted the offer, which meant the three of you were moving to london.Â
the change was exciting, something fresh and new for all of you. macy was thrilled at the idea of living in a new city, and as for you, the thought of starting a new chapter together made you incredibly happy.
in london, lena is the person macy runs to for almost everything. scraped knees, homework help, even just to ask if she can have a snackâlena is her go-to. most days, it fills you with happiness to see them so close, to know that macy has someone who loves her so much.Â
sometimes, like today, you canât help but feel a little sting.
youâd been in the middle of getting macy ready for school. she was in a hurry as usual, fidgeting in her seat while you knelt to help her tie her shoes.Â
before you could finish, she pulled her foot away, laughing. âno, no, mama lena does it better!â she giggled, her bright smile lighting up her face.
you laughed too, even though the words pricked at your heart. âoh, really?â you teased, raising an eyebrow.
âguess iâll need to practice, huh?â
macy just grinned, her curls bouncing as she wiggled her toes. âyeah, you should! donât worry, youâre still good at other stuff!â
you smiled, ruffling her hair. âwell, iâm glad iâm still useful for something.â
she giggled again, completely unaware of how her innocent words had stirred something in you.Â
you shoved the feeling aside quickly, focusing instead on making her laugh as you pretended to dramatically fumble with her shoes. her laughter filled the room, her curls tumbling down her back as she leaned forward in her chair, watching you with bright eyes.Â
it wasnât until you were dropping her off at school that the feeling crept back in, like a quiet ache in the pit of your stomach.
it wasnât that you were jealousâat least, you didnât think you were. you loved that macy and lena were so close. youâd always hoped that one day macy would have a strong bond with lena, and seeing it unfold so naturally had been like a dream come true.Â
still, moments like this made you wonder if you were slowly being edged out, if macy was starting to see lena as the coolâ mom while you were just⌠the other one that happened to look like her.
you tried not to dwell on it too much. lena had been nothing but supportive, always making sure you knew how important you were to both of them. and really, you were happy.Â
lena had embraced being a mother to macy in every wayâgoing to parent-teacher conferences, staying up late to help with school projects, even helping macy with her football in-between training at chelsea.Â
that was another thing: football.
macy had recently started showing a serious interest in the sport, much to lenaâs delight. she idolized her mama, always asking about drills and tactics, begging to go to practice with her.Â
one afternoon, after watching one of lenaâs games, macy had turned to you both, her eyes wide with excitement.Â
âi want to play football too!â sheâd said, bouncing on her toes.
lenaâs face had lit up with pride. âyou do, huh? well, we can definitely make that happen.â
since then, lena had been working on getting macy into training, talking to coaches and setting up practice sessions in your backyard. youâd watch them sometimes, lena patiently teaching macy how to pass the ball, how to position herself.Â
the way macy looked up at lena, so full of admiration, always made you smile. you were thrilled that your daughter had someone like lena to look up to, someone who could teach her the things you never could.
and yet, in the quieter moments, when macy would run to lena after a long day, her arms wrapping tightly around her waist, you couldnât help but feel a tiny pang of sadness. it wasnât that macy didnât love youâshe did, of course.
there was something different about the way she clung to lena, like lena was her whole world. you couldnât blame her. lena was a natural with her, always knowing just the right thing to say or do to make macy feel safe and loved.
youâd catch yourself watching them sometimes, a soft smile on your face as you listened to their conversations, the easy way they communicated without needing to say much. youâd hide your feelings behind a joke, like the time macy had joked about lena being better at making breakfast, and youâd playfully said, âwell, guess iâll just stick to making the coffee then.â macy had laughed, and youâd felt the sting lessen, pushing it to the back of your mind.
around this time, you and lena had started talking more seriously about having another child.Â
this time, you would carry, using lenaâs egg along with a donor. youâd been through a few consultations, and after what felt like a whirlwind of planning and waiting, the IVF procedure was finally successful.Â
you were pregnant with another little girl.
the joy that filled your heart was indescribable. the idea of adding to your family, of giving macy a sibling, was something youâd dreamed about for so long. and now, with the news confirmed, it was time to tell macy.Â
you werenât sure how sheâd reactâsheâd always been so used to being the only one, the center of attention. but you were hopeful that sheâd be excited.
one evening, you and lena sat macy down, her favorite blanket draped over her lap as she snuggled on the couch between you. lenaâs arm was around your shoulders, her hand resting gently on your belly, already slightly swollen with the new life growing inside.
âmunchkin,â lena said softly, looking at macy with a warm smile. âwe have some big news for you.â
macy looked up, her curiosity piqued.
âwhat is it?â
you took a deep breath, smiling as you leaned forward a little. âyouâre going to be a big sister, sweetheart.â
macyâs eyes widened, and for a moment, she just stared at you, her mind clearly racing to process what youâd said.Â
âa big sister?â she repeated, her voice uncertain.
âthatâs right,â lena added, squeezing your shoulder gently. âthereâs a baby in here.â she gestured to your belly. âa little sister for you.â
macyâs face scrunched up, her expression a mix of confusion and hesitation. âbut⌠i like being the only one,â she admitted, her voice small.
you shared a glance with lena, both of you understanding her hesitation. âwe know, sweetheart,â you said gently.Â
âand youâll always be our first, our special girl. but having a sister means youâll have someone to play with, someone whoâll look up to you, someone whoâll need your help.â
macy was quiet for a moment, clearly thinking about what youâd said. her little fingers twisted in the edge of her blanket, her brow furrowed as she processed the news. you could tell she wasnât sure how to feel.
âand youâll still get to do everything you love,â lena added. âfootball, school, everything. this just means there will be more love in the house. and maybe, when sheâs old enough, you can teach her some football moves.â
macyâs eyes brightened a little at that, the idea of teaching someone something she loved appealing to her. âi get to teach her football?â
you smiled, nodding. âabsolutely. youâre going to be the best big sister ever.â
slowly, macyâs frown faded, replaced by a tentative smile. âokay,â she said, her voice soft but a little more certain.Â
âiâll be the best big sister ever. but only if i get to teach her football.â
lena laughed, pulling macy into a tight hug. âdeal.â
and just like that, your family took another step forward, your heart full of love as you prepared for the next chapter in your livesâtogether.

travelers helper AU where is the reason why S/O is oblivious to all the men liking her is because every single time she showed an interested in a hot guy. They turned out to be gay, so sheâs convinced herself that all of the men are gay and possibly even dating each other. (Couples she thinks are real are Alhaitham x Kaveh Cyno x Tinari Zongli x Childe Kaeya x Venti Nuvilet x woirthslie ) and I watched their reactions to finding out that she thinks theyâre all gay
Ok this idea is funny xD But to anyone who like those ships, pls don't take it as some kind of hate towards those ships or something. --------- The guys are devastated after learning you think that they are into... each other. All of them wondering where did they make a mistake? Kaveh found it ridiculous, him and Alhaitham?! He wondered if you think so because they live in the same house? But there are many people who are friends and share homes⌠You even invite all your friends to live in your Teapot!! He really couldn't understand from where this idea came from⌠Is it because they bicker so much? But it didn't make sense to him!! Kaveh was anxious⌠do you not see him as a man or something? He is overthinking this whole thing. At this point he is debating whenever to show you his plans of the house he wants to make for you both in future.
Alhaitham was more clam about it, analyzing from where this idea may come. It's not like he and Kaveh were affectionate to each other and he couldn't recal any moment that could make you think like that about them. He will state that, no, he is not interested in Kaveh in such way (or anyone else, both guys and girls, that are not you) And yet you still say "That's okay! I won't judge! I will support whoever you love!" At this point Alhaitham may confess his feeling to you but the problem is that there is always someone by your sideâŚif not Aether then other guys. And the worst thing is Kaveh always appears too, making the misunderstanding even worse.
Cyno at first thought this is some kind of joke. But after seeing that you're not joking he was bewildered. Why would you think so? "You two sometimes look like parents of Collei" Parents? But when they were in Mondstadt he was sure you heard how he and Tighnari bickered who would be the 'older brother'⌠right? Cyno was silent. Trying to come up with something that will make you believe him that he is interested in you. Because whenever he would say that, you would be "ah Cyno! Please don't joke like that!" he would never joke about things like this... The General Mahamatra for now tries to avoid talking to Tighnari when you are closeâŚ
Tighnari only furrowed his brows. Him and Cyno? Big nope!! Just imagining that he would hear more jokes from Cyno if they were together already gives him a headache. The Forest Ranger was getting more and more irritated that you for some reason don't want to accept when he says that there is nothing between him and Cyno. So he started to approach this in different way. Thankfully Cyno already was avoiding him when you are close. So he can now start to be even bolder with his affections towards you. If you still refuse to believe that he is attracted to you, then you may expect to hear a confession soon.
Zhongli asked you if you can repeat yourself. Oh? Him and Childe together? In romantic relationship? Zhongli was thinking where this came fromâŚIs it because he often uses Childe's mora to buy things? But that was only that⌠and that Childe often bothers him so they could spar. Ah. Maybe this was the reason, maybe you think that 'sparings' are something different. Humans are truly interesting. He will ask you why you think so, patiently listening to your explanation. He is amused by this.
Childe laughed, but after seeing you are not laughing he stopped and said "Wait...are you serious?" He will say that there is nothing between them, even says that he prefers girls (to hint that he likes you) but you responded with "It's okay! You don't have to hide it! I accept you and I'm sure your family will accept this as well!" You're cuteâŚ. but why don't you want to believe him?! Should he shower you with more gifts? It would be better to invite you for a date but with Aether being around it's not that easyâŚ.
Kaeya was amused, but he didn't expect that you will think that Venti is his boyfriend. One part of him wanted to joke about it but other part was worried that you will take it too seriously and he will lose his chances with you. The cavalry captain doesn't worry about it too much. He will simply tell you that you're wrong and he will continue showering you with affections.
Venti was a bit hurt by this. Were his love songs and poems dedicated to you not enough? Or maybe this is your way to tell him that you're not interested in him? He can't really understand this⌠he never was affectionate to anyone else like he is towards you. But after learning he is not the only one that you think is into guys, he felt relieved. At least you didn't think that he and that block head are into each other.
Neuvillette was confused by this. There are already many things that he can't understand about humans. But he was sure that you will realize that he is trying to court you⌠not the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide⌠After that for some days it was raining in Fontaine. He decided to tell Furina about it, hoping for some advice in this situation. But she only started to laugh. After she calmed down she promised to help him to clear this misunderstanding.
Wriothesley already knew how oblivious you are but he never expected that you might be this oblivious. He will say that there is nothing like this between him and the Iudex and if you still insist about that then wellâŚif there will be a chance for you two to be alone you can expect him to kabedon you, making you look into his eyes and he won't let you go till you stop thinking that he is interested in anyone that is not you.

Mini Bellingham
warning: none
characters: jude x fem!reader
summary: when after fans suspect, you actually find out you're pregnant
may contain spelling and translation errors!
A few weeks after the last wave of rumors that Jude Bellingham was going to be a father, you realized that something was really different. It wasn't just the slight swelling in your shirt, nor the symptoms that you attributed to the fast pace of travel and the crazy routine in Madrid. After a few days of feeling more tired than usual and having some morning sickness, you decided to put the doubt to rest once and for all.
The next morning, you took a pregnancy test from the bathroom, and a few minutes later, the two little lines appeared on the screen, confirming what you didn't even know you were expecting: you were pregnant. The emotion was intense and immediate. You laughed to yourself, tears welling up in surprise, and you stood there, absorbing the feeling of now having a precious and charming secret to share with Jude.
You knew he needed a surprise to match. After all, if the love of your life was going to find out he was going to be a father, it had to be in the most special way possible. You quickly planned a gesture that was symbolic and at the same time very much connected to the dream you both shared. In the following days, you sneaked out to organize everything: a mini-uniform of the English national team with the number ten and the name Bellingham on the back. You thought of every detail and, to make the surprise complete, you put together a kit with the uniform, the pregnancy test and a handwritten letter.
On the weekend, Jude arrived home after a hard training session, without thinking about anything. He was hungry and just wanted to rest. You smiled when you saw him come in distracted, already taking off his boots and adjusting his shirt. As soon as he sat down on the sofa, you approached him smiling and held out a small box with a red bow, which he accepted, confused.
âIs this⌠a present?
Jude asked, arching an eyebrow with a curious expression. You bit your lip, trying to contain your excitement, and shook your head.
âGo on, open it!
You said, with a smile that you could barely contain.
The eldest Bellingham opened the box and, when he pulled off the tissue paper, he came across the small uniform of the English national team. He looked at you with a surprised expression, not fully understanding, until he saw the pregnancy test. His eyes widened and his mouth opened in a smile of complete surprise and disbelief.
âBabeâŚ? âHe could barely speak, swallowing hard. âAre you⌠serious?
You nodded, smiling with your eyes full of tears.
âCongratulations, daddy!
You whispered, the words almost coming out like a melody.
He laughed, a surprised laugh, his face hidden in his hands as he processed the news. Emotion took over him, and he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a tight, long hug, laughing and crying at the same time.
After what seemed like an eternity of silence, Jude pulled away enough to look at you, his eyes brimming with happiness.
âA mini Bellingham⌠I canât believe it! Iâm already the luckiest man in the world just to have you, and now⌠Is this real?
You laughed, wiping a tear from his face.
âItâs real. And you know whatâs funny? I think even your fans were already suspicious. But now, only the two of us know.
He looked at the mini-uniform in his hands, turning it over and getting lost in the details.
âI donât even know how to thank you for giving me the greatest gift in the world, Y/n.
He kissed the top of your head, then brought his hand to your belly, still flat, but which would soon begin to show the first signs of this new phase.
You took the letter, handing it to him.
âThereâs one more thing.
He opened the envelope carefully and read, still emotional:
"Dear Jude,
Thank you for being the best partner and the love of my life. I knew I wanted you to be the father of my children from the moment I realized I would do anything to be by your side. Today, I begin a new journey by your side, and I can only imagine how much we will love this baby. Our baby.
Thank you for everything, and thank you for being you. With all my love,
Y/n."
Jude could barely contain his emotion as he finished reading the letter. He looked at you, touched, and simply said.
âI love you more than anything in this world, love. More than I ever thought possible. And now... now there are three of us.
You snuggled into his arms, feeling completely at peace. From that moment on, your world was bigger, more complete, and the wait for that little Bellingham would be the sweetest of all.

Agatha All Along deep dive: episode 5 part 2
(Wandavision entries: [1][2][3])
(AAA entries: ep1 [1][2][3][4] ep2 [1][2][3][4] ep3 [1][2][3] ep4 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][+1] ep5 [1][2])
I was so looking forward to brighten this particular scene, it's the darkest yet and it's such a beautiful one it's a pity to miss even one detail
oh no lilia stop being so cute????
have you ever seen jen with a bigger smile? and she's quiet as usual, it's almost like more than the ride she's enjoying how much fun her friends are having. especially lilia, those two have been forming a bond that is equal parts bickering and a growing respect
I'm just glad alice had this moment of pure unadulterated joy before it came all crashing down
agatha is very, very quiet. despite never letting herself feel anything freely, she takes a moment to close her eyes and enjoy the beauty of it all
she looks back at rio, so sensual and confident
how can kathryn hahn convey so much with so little time? her breath catches at her sight. and then worry and fear take hold and she gives the tiniest shake of her head, as if she's forbidding herself to entertain any kind of thought about rio. she looks away. the blood moon behind her spells disaster
meanwhile billy is that kid who has the time of his life hanging out with the teachers during a field trip
I want to personally thank aubrey plaza for every acting choice she made as rio, but ESPECIALLY for this witchy laugh
(I just brightened the salem seven witch vomiting bees and it's actually pretty impressive! but I don't want to trigger any insect haters around here) (I love insects though so please talk to me about spiders if you want)
they couldn't get a good look at the cabin before rushing in and I couldn't either until now, do we know if it's something from Agatha's past? did she use to live there?
I'm salty that alice had to die in these stupid clothes
So. I think this trial is the most fucked up and humiliating yet. Billy knew nothing about jen except superficial facts, so he put her in a scenario that matched her work aesthetic, more of a personal insult than a wake up call (compare it with the broom lilia just made for her: roots and flowers, something that speaks about jen's work, beliefs and traditions.)
Alice's trial was entirely based on lorna, we know billy is a big fan so he ran with that concept creating something that really shook alice, and not in a good way. she was forced to sit in her dead mom's house and wear her clothes for god's sake. she took it as the Road wanting to teach her a lesson, when it was just a teenager with the grace and subtlety of a newborn puppy.
Now, agatha. billy doesn't know a thing about her because she's private to the point of paranoia. he has gathered that there's something in her past about a dead child and that's probably what makes her grumpy, so he... tried to make her talk to nicky. with a fuking oujia board. Despite having had his share of shock and trauma billy inevitably has a kid's point of view re: death, and even more so because he's functionally immortal. death is something that happens to other people, or far far away in the future. he thinks he's giving agatha much needed therapy, when he actually put a grown woman in child's clothes and made her relive her traumas for everyone to see.
btw I'm not in any way saying that the trials are bad writing. they are brilliant writing. they're just tragic and fucked up behind the funny exterior, just like agatha herself. sorry for the rant.
I mean I wouldn't be opposed to that. we could put billy back in a closet for a little while and get down and dirty with it. and ooh there's a little leaf on rio's shirt, I hadn't noticed it!
jen's retainer always SENDS me
agatha's face when she realizes it's her trial
agatha is irrevocably, eternally linked with death in all its forms
looks like rio is playing along and setting the scene, but she's also doing something more subtle that only agatha understands: she's provoking her, and it's becoming more personal and hurtful. she's testing and punishing more than she used to. she is growing angrier.
agatha wants to tell rio to fuck off but knows she deserves it. agatha is NOT happy to be in this trial for reasons that go beyond what everyone present (except rio) assumes, but she'll bite the inside of her cheeks until they bleed before she shows any of it
the way he says it with a straight face too (again, NO PUN INTENDED. forgive me joe, I would never)
oh great alice has only thirty minutes to live
everyone looks worried and on their guard, rio has her whole knife out, playing along. agatha is STILL trying to look cool and casual, it's painful to watch. girl is panicking, hard
meanwhile billy is always bringing a whole different energy, he's playing and having fun! think back to the second episode when they met lilia and then jen and alice for the first time. billy had no clue about the tension, the fear and hate between them and agatha. right now he's still more excited than scared. he's about to have a rude awakening.
do not taunt the spirits, AGATHA.
lmaooo. this motherfucker.
another moment when billy sounds chillingly cruel. being jigsaw without realizing it
I'm not pointing it out every time but whenever agatha does this with her arms she's really, really really nervous
what does agatha do when she's scared or overwhelmed? she puts on a show. like clockwork. and rio has already guessed what's about to happen
I really want to continue this so there will be more later today, stay tuned!
go to episode 5 part 3

all talk | p.js
there has always been a simmering tension between you and jay ever since you joined their friend group, hidden beneath playful banter and teasing remarks. but things changed when what started as a carefree night out with your seven friends quickly spiraled into something far more unexpected. between the music, the drinks, and the charged glances, the playful teasing shifts into something much more intense.

heesung and jake play a big role in this lol. jungwon's mentioned too just at the very.
___________________________________________
you and jay⌠that was always a topic of confusionâfor others, and sometimes even for yourselves.
this entire, incredibly eventful chapter of your life began when you met enhypen during one of your calvin klein photoshoots. it was a collaboration you hadnât expected, and yet everything about it felt oddly seamless.
from the moment you met the group of boys, it felt as though youâd known them forever. they were warm, funny, and easy to talk toâqualities that made them stand out, especially since most of your friendships had been with girls.
what really caught you off guard was how quickly you became a part of their circle. suddenly, you were being invited to hangouts every other week when your schedules allowed, and you didnât mind one bit.
all seven of them welcomed you with open arms, making you feel at ease in a way that was new and unexpected. it was strange to think about because kindness should be the standard, but your past experiences with men had left you guarded. this shift in dynamic, though refreshing, often felt too good to be true.
your relationship with each one of them was unique in its own way, but you seemed to connect best with one in particularâ park jongseong.
your bond with jay was unlike anything you shared with the rest. from your very first exchange, there was an easy flirtation between the two of you that only grew stronger over time. the others teased you both relentlessly, saying how perfect you were for each other and insisting you should stop pretending and just make it official.
you and jay, however, would always dismiss their comments, laughing it off and insisting that you were just joking around. of course, the others never believed you, carrying on with their relentless teasing.
still, it never fazed you or jay. maybe it was because, deep down, the idea didnât seem all that bad? you never stopped to analyze it, though. the truth was, you never had a âwhat are we?â conversation, and you werenât exactly in a rush to have one either. you werenât actively looking for love, and having a flirtatious dynamic with a man sculpted like a greek god certainly added some much-needed excitement to your life. who could complain? it was just innocent funâyou never crossed any boundaries or did anything beyond playful banter.
little did you know, though, that someday words would turn into actions.
the night everything changed began with a casual invitation. the guys were in new york city for a concert and decided to go clubbing in their free time. they wanted you to join.
the place they chose was nothing short of extravagantâa blend of a nightclub and bar, with a formal dress code and an exclusive guest list. it was an entirely new experience, especially since most of your outings with them were more casual: dinners, movie nights, or just hanging out at someoneâs place.
the chance to dress up, drink, and let loose was too tempting to pass up. without a second thought, you said yes, not knowing that this night would mark a turning point in your relationship with jay.
after stepping into the upscale club, the eight of you naturally dispersed. some rushed off to the bar, others disappeared into the pulsing crowd, lost in the music and lights. a few mingled effortlessly with strangers, their laughter blending into the vibrant hum of the room.
you stayed back with jay, jake, and heesung, settling into a plush, semi-private corner on an l-shaped couch. the spot felt perfectâclose enough to feel the energy of the club but far enough to offer a sense of privacy. from where you sat, you could watch the sea of bodies moving under the strobe lights, yet here, the music was muffled just enough to allow for easy conversation.
a sleek glass table in front of you was already cluttered with expensive liquor bottles, mixers, and half-finished drinks. you sat in the middle, jay on your left, so close that his knee brushed yours every time he adjusted his position. heesung occupied the far side, and jake sprawled casually on your right, his arm draped over the backrest.
the conversation was lively, flowing effortlessly from deep, reflective topics to ridiculous, out-of-pocket jokes that had all of you clutching your sides with laughter. the alcohol helped, loosening your words and deepening your bond as time slipped away.
it didnât take long for you to feel the telltale signs of drunkenness. your cheeks felt warm, the edges of the room seemed softer, and your words occasionally slurred together. the guys werenât far behind, their flushed faces and increasingly playful banter a clear indication of how much theyâd had to drink.
but through the haze, you couldnât help but notice jay. heâd always been charming and tactile, but tonight, something about him felt differentâintensely focused. every so often, his hand would graze your bare leg, the touch fleeting but electric. occasionally, heâd reach out to brush a stray strand of hair from your face, his fingers lingering near your cheek in a way that made your breath hitch.
and then there were his handsâalways finding ways to touch yours. jay had a habit of playing with your fingers, something youâd grown used to, but tonight, it felt more deliberate. his thumb traced slow, lazy circles on your skin, his touch so gentle it sent shivers up your spine.
his gaze, though, was what undid you. whenever his dark eyes locked with yours, it felt like the rest of the world faded away. there was an intensity to the way he looked at you tonight, as if he was trying to tell you something without saying a word. it made your heart race in a way you couldnât quite control, and the alcohol only amplified your awareness of him.
jake and heesung werenât blind to what was happening. every time jayâs hand lingered a little too long or his gaze softened when he looked at you, the two of them would exchange amused glances. jake smirked openly, while heesung occasionally raised an eyebrow, the corners of his lips twitching as if he was holding back laughter.
you noticed their silent teasing, of course, but jay seemed entirely unfazed. his focus stayed on you, as if the rest of the room didnât exist.
as much as you tried to brush it off, blaming your racing thoughts on the alcohol, you couldnât ignore the effect he was having on you. jay looked absolutely stunning tonight. his dark hair framed his face perfectly, soft strands falling effortlessly across his forehead. his black sweater clung to him just right, dipping low enough to reveal the sharp lines of his collarbones, while his tailored dress pants fit him like a dream. every detail about him seemed designed to make you lose your composure.
the night continued like this, the four of you huddled together while the others flitted in and out. occasionally, one of the members would stop by to join in on the conversation, only to dash off when a song they couldnât resist came on. the corner youâd claimed felt like its own little world, insulated from the chaos of the club.
at one point, jay excused himself to the bathroom. you watched him go, your gaze lingering longer than you intended. the absence of his presence was immediate, like a sudden chill. the warmth of his touch, the weight of his attention, the way his voice softened when he spoke to youâit all left you reeling.
jake chuckled beside you, breaking your train of thought. âyou good?â he teased, raising his glass in a toast. heesung just smirked knowingly, leaning back into the couch. to which you nonchalantly stated you're okay.
you shook your head, brushing off the slight unease from jay leaving. you leaned back into the cushions, letting the warm buzz of alcohol dull your thoughts. it wasnât a big deal, you told yourselfâhe probably just needed a moment. the energy of the club, the thrum of the music, and the laughter from jake and heesung were enough to distract you. for now, the thought of jay and his lingering touches faded into the background.
but as the conversation flowed, jake leaned closer, his smirk catching your attention. âso,â he began, dragging the word out in a way that immediately put you on edge, âyou know jay likes you, right?â
heesung, lounging comfortably, nodded with a sly grin. âoh, for sure. itâs not even subtle at this point. the guy canât keep his hands off you.â
you froze for a second before letting out a laugh, shaking your head as you waved them off. âoh, come on. jayâs always like thatâheâs just naturally touchy. itâs not out of the ordinary.â
jake raised an eyebrow, his smirk widening. âsure, but he doesnât act like that with anyone else. have you seen him with us? the guy barely even gives us a pat on the back, let alone all theâŚâ he mimicked brushing imaginary hair behind his ear, earning a snicker from heesung.
âexactly,â heesung added, crossing his arms. âjayâs different with you. itâs written all over his face. youâre the only one he looks at like that.â
rolling your eyes, you chuckled, trying to ignore the way their words made your heart skip. âyouâre both drunk. he's flirty all the timeâitâs just jay being jay.â you shrugged, feigning nonchalance. âhe probably doesnât even realize heâs doing it.â
the two exchanged another look, one of those silent conversations that only close friends could have. âokay,â jake said, dragging the word out again as if to humor you. âwhatever you say.â
heesung smirked, leaning back into the couch. âdenial is a river in egypt,â he muttered, earning a laugh from jake.
âand you two are delusional,â you shot back playfully, though the warmth creeping up your neck betrayed your confidence. you quickly changed the topic, refusing to let their words linger, but deep down, you couldnât help but wonder if they might be right.
heesung, however, wasnât done. he leaned in dramatically, his voice lowering as if he was revealing some deep, dark secret. âyou know, i donât know why youâre pretending to be all innocent here.â he shot you a mischievous grin. âyouâre just as flirty as jayâif not worse.â
before you could protest, he straightened up, then leaned forward again, dramatically acting out what he claimed was your behavior. âoh my god, jay,â he said in a mocking voice, fluttering his eyelashes. âyou look so good tonight. i canât stop looking at you.â he threw in a hair flip for good measure, causing you to laugh despite him making fun of you.
you gaped at him. âi do not do that!â
he grinned wider, clearly enjoying the playful torment. âsure you donât,â he teased, pretending to sip from an invisible drink. âand then you throw in some accidental touches here and there, just like jay. like thisâ he reached over and lightly brushed your arm, his touch exaggerated and playful.
âstop!â you laughed, swatting his hand away. âyouâre ridiculous, heesung!â
jake chuckled beside you, clearly enjoying the teasing. âyou canât deny it. youâre just as bad, if not more obvious, than jay.â
you crossed your arms and tried to hold your ground, but the heat in your face betrayed you. âwhatever, you two are crazy.â you leaned back, trying to mask your flustered state, but deep down, a part of you knew they were right.
silence filled the air when you thought...wait... letâs make this fun. you leaned in closer, deciding it was your turn to stir things up.
âso, whoâs the better flirt?â you asked, your voice dripping with playful confidence as you shot them a daring smirk.
heesung didnât miss a beat. âyou, obviously,â he replied with a matching grin, his quick answer making you sit a little taller.
you were about to feign modesty when jake jumped in, completely unfiltered. âoh, thatâs not even a debate. youâre smooth, like dangerously smooth. itâs effortlessâsensual, even. jay, though? he looks like a mix of a horny teenager and some creepy old dude whoâs trying way too hard.â
you couldnât stop the laugh that escaped, your stomach aching as heesung nodded in agreement, both boys delighting in tearing down jayâs flirting game.
âso, youâd fall for it?â you pressed, leaning into the teasing, letting your voice drop just enough to make them squirm.
their reaction was immediateâeyes wide, sharing a glance, before jake cleared his throat awkwardly. âi mean⌠yeah. probably any guy would⌠shit even girls,â he admitted, his voice quieter now.
you turned to heesung, raising an eyebrow as if to ask, well? he scratched the back of his neck, looking at everything but you. âyeah, same,â he mumbled. then, with a nervous chuckle, he added, âbut donât let jay hear that. heâd kill us, and honestly? iâd rather not go out like that.â
you giggled at their flustered answers, but you werenât done just yet. a wicked thought crossed your mind. you leaned back against the couch, sighing dramatically, letting your body arch slightly, chest subtly pushing forward.
oh, so now they go quiet, huh? you thought to yourself, biting back a smirk.
you shifted back into your normal position, glancing at the two of them. for the first time tonight, they werenât shooting off quick remarks or teasing you back. instead, they were trying way too hard to act like they were fascinated by the crowd around them, clearly avoiding letting their eyes wander to how your dress hugged your figure just right.
âyou guys are so boring,â you teased, breaking the silence with a pout. âmaybe i should test my charm with you two to see if it really works,â you added, voice low and dripping with suggestion.
the way they stiffened was almost comical. they exchanged panicked glances, their nervous laughter giving them away immediately. jake cleared his throat, trying to steady his voice. ânope, nope, nope. youâre jayâs future wife. we canât be a part of this madness,â he said, holding his hands up in surrender.
you huffed dramatically, pretending to give in. âfine, i guess youâre right.â a pause hung in the air before you slyly added, âbesides, i donât think you could keep up with me anyway.â
jakeâs jaw dropped, his expression a mix of offense and disbelief. âokay, now that was just uncalled for,â he protested, pointing a finger at you like he was scolding you.
you leaned in closer, locking eyes with him, your voice soft yet teasing. âyou sure about that?â
âas if jay can,â he scoffed, laughing at his own joke. âbut yeah, iâm sure. besides, like i said, youâre practically the future mother of his kids, andââ
âokay, thatâs enough,â you cut him off quickly, unable to handle the forwardness of his words. âcan we please stop talking about jay for one secââ
heesung interrupted, grinning like heâd just uncovered some big secret. âguys, i think jayâs busy with his other future wife.â
you and jake froze, immediately following heesungâs gaze. sure enough, jay was leaning casually against a wall, unfazed as a girl who was far too enthusiastic leaned in closer, laughing and touching his arm a little too much for your liking.
ânah,â jake laughed, breaking the tension, âhe looks mad uncomfortable"
âdamn though, how does he get all the girls while i stay bitchless?â heesung muttered, still focused on jay and the overly eager girl practically draping herself over him.
jake chuckled, but you couldnât resist poking at heesung. âi just gave you the opportunity of a lifetime, hee,â you teased, referring to your earlier playful flirting, as heesung remained captivated by the unfolding scene of jay and the mystery girl.
he finally tore his gaze away, smirking mischievously. âif jay gave me the green light, i wouldnât even hesitate, gorgeous,â he shot back smoothly, his words bold and his tone dripping with confidence. he added a wink for good measure, which only made you laugh.
âheesung!â you exclaimed, your voice half-scolding, half-amused.
jake groaned, shaking his head as if he couldnât believe what heâd just heard. âseriously, man? and no, jay would never allow it. neither would i.â
âa guy can dream, canât he?â heesung shrugged nonchalantly, but the hint of a smirk tugging at his lips made it clear he wasnât entirely serious. when he noticed the way you and jake were looking at him, though, he quickly backtracked. âwhat? come on, guys, iâm joking!â
your gaze shifted back to jay, who was still caught in the same uncomfortable interaction. the girl was leaning far too close, her giggles annoyingly loud, and you couldnât help but feel a flicker of jealousy in your chest. not that youâd ever admit it to them. instead, you waved it off casually.
âwell, hope he has fun with her,â you said breezily, already trying to steer the conversation elsewhere. you werenât about to let them notice the little twinge of irritation creeping in. besides, comparing his body language with you and her, jay truly was different with you. his smiles, his touches, his attentionâit all felt more genuine when it was directed your way. that alone was enough to ease your nerves.
âare you crazy? go save your man!â jake urged, his voice insistent.
âheâll be fine,â you replied, brushing it off with a casual shrug, though the sight of the girl inching closer made your stomach twist just a bit more.
a pause hung between you before heesung spoke up, his voice lowering conspiratorially. âyou know... i heard from a very reliable source that jay likes it when a girl gets jealous...â
you raised an eyebrow, the skepticism clear on your face. âoh, does he now?â. it sounded out of character for jay. he was mature and grounded, the type of guy who would probably find possessiveness off-putting, or so you thought.
âseriously,â jake chimed in, nodding earnestly. âhe thinks itâs hot when a girl gets territorial over him. like, itâs his thing or something.â
you hummed thoughtfully, swirling your drink. their sudden insistence felt suspicious, but you couldnât deny the idea intrigued you.
âgo,â heesung urged, motioning for you to stand up. his expression was equally playful and determined.
you sighed dramatically, leaning back against the couch as though the mere suggestion exhausted you. âwhat if i scare my number one hoe away?â you joked, your voice laced with sarcasm.
the boys burst into laughter but quickly recovered, their expressions shifting to something more earnest. jake shook his head. ânah, youâre good. heâs your hoe, and he knows it.â
their encouragement made you hesitate. part of you wanted to stand your ground, but the other part of youâthe side that had been waiting for some kind of signal from jayâfelt the push. maybe they were right. maybe this was the moment.
heesung, ever the instigator, leaned closer, his smirk teasing. âwhat, are you scared now? all that confidence earlier, and now you're pussying out?â
his words struck a nerve. without another thought, you grabbed your drink in one hand and reached for jayâs drink with the other, standing up with newfound purpose.
before heading off, you turned to them, narrowing your eyes in warning. âif this messes things up with jay because of your little scheme, weâre gonna have a serious problem.â
jake and heesung exchanged triumphant glances, their grins growing wide. âawh, so you do care about him,â jake teased softly, his voice dripping with adoration.
you rolled your eyes but couldnât hide the small smile tugging at your lips as you turned and made your way toward jay. behind you, the boys exchanged triumphant looks, dapping each other up and eagerly shifting in their seats to get the best view of the chaos theyâd just unleashed.
if you were sober right now, this wouldâve been much harder. but walking through this high-end club with liquid courage warming your veins made it feel almost too easy. heads turned as you passed, lingering stares trailing over your figure. the way people looked at youâlike you were the only person in the roomâonly fueled your confidence. but your eyes were locked on one person: jay.
every step you took toward him felt like a small victory, closing the distance between you two. your heart pounded in anticipation, but you pushed the feeling aside, focusing on your goal. the world around you blurred, the dim lights, music, and whispers fading into the background.
jay noticed you before you reached him. his expression shifted from mild confusion to relief, and finally, a soft, welcoming smile. he seemed caught off guard by your determined stride, as if trying to piece together why you were heading straight for him.
when you stopped in front of him, his gaze locked onto yours, his dark eyes searching your face. without missing a beat, you offered him a warm smile and extended his drinkâthe one youâd deliberately taken earlier to sell the illusion. âbabe, what took you so long?â you teased, your tone light but purposeful, laced with playful mischief.
jay blinked, taking the drink from you, his brows furrowing slightly. before he could question you, you slid your arm around his back, your fingers brushing the fabric of his shirt as you pulled yourself closer. leaning in, your lips pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. the simple act was sweet, innocent even, but the way your lips lingered for just a second longer than necessary made it impossible for him to dismiss.
he. was. stunned.
his body stiffened slightly under your touch, and as you leaned back, you caught the way his jaw subtly tensed, his lips parted in shock. the confident exterior jay always carried faltered, and the rare sight of him flustered filled you with a quiet satisfaction.
you turned your attention to the girl standing beside him, who had gone completely silent. she stared at you, her expression uncertain, her confidence visibly shaken. you extended your hand toward her, your movements poised and deliberate. âhi, iâm y/n,â you said smoothly, your tone polite but firm, like you were both introducing yourself and reminding her of your place beside jay.
the girl hesitated, glancing between you and jay before awkwardly shaking your hand. she mumbled her name in response, her voice lacking the boldness sheâd shown just moments earlier.
you took a slow sip of your drink, studying her with a small smile. âoh, was i interrupting something?â you asked, tilting your head slightly, your tone feigning innocence but carrying an undercurrent of teasing.
before she could answer, jayâs voice cut in. âno, of course not,â he said firmly, his gaze flicking to you, his tone making it clear that your presence wasnât unwelcome.
the girl, however, looked like she wanted to argue, her lips parting before snapping shut again. she fidgeted awkwardly before finally speaking. âoh, um, i guess iâll see you around, jay,â she said, her tone quieter now, unsure.
you watched her turn to leave, noting the stiffness in her stride as she hurried back to her friends, who immediately erupted into cheers and claps. the scene was almost laughable, but your attention was drawn back to jay, who had relaxed against the wall. his signature smirk slowly returned, his eyes fixed on you with an intensity that sent a shiver down your spine.
âwhyâd you do all that?â he asked, his voice low and teasing, yet there was a hint of something deeperâcuriosity, maybe even hope.
âwhat?â you replied, your voice casual as you leaned against the wall beside him. âyou looked uncomfortable.â
jay chuckled softly, shaking his head. âbullshit,â he said, his smirk widening.
âoh, so you werenât?â you shot back, your eyebrow raising in challenge.
his silence spoke volumes. his eyes, dark and focused, roamed your face, lingering on your lips before meeting your gaze again.
âwere you jealous?â he asked finally, his voice dipping lower, the smirk never leaving his face.
your heart skipped a beat, but you refused to let him see how easily he got under your skin. instead, you rolled your eyes, a smirk of your own forming. âdid you want her all over you like that?â
jayâs expression shifted slightly, the teasing glint in his eyes sharpening into something more serious, more deliberate. without warning, he pushed himself off the wall, closing the distance between you in a single step.
his free hand found your waist, the warmth of his palm searing through the thin fabric of your dress. âsoâŚâ he murmured, his voice a mix of challenge and seduction. his fingers brushed against the curve of your hip, slow and deliberate. âyou wouldnât be jealous if i was this close to her?â
his lips hovered near your ear, his breath warm against your skin. âif i touched her like this?â he continued, his hand sliding lower, his fingertips grazing the small of your back.
âif i kissed her?â his voice dropped further, his lips brushing your neck, the faintest, softest touch that sent a wave of heat flooding through you.
your breath hitched, your body betraying you as a sharp jolt of desire coiled low in your stomach. his scent surrounded youâwoodsy, rich, and utterly intoxicating. your knees felt weak, and you gripped your drink tighter, the only thing keeping you steady.
jay pulled back slightly, his eyes scanning your face, waiting for your response. âhm?â he prompted, his tone daring, his smirk back in full force.
you swallowed hard, struggling to regain control. his presence was overwhelming, every inch of him drawing you closer, making it impossible to think straight. but you werenât going to let him win so easily.
locking eyes with him, you returned his daring stare. âwe both know who youâre taking home tonight,â you said, your voice low, steady, and full of confidence.
his eyebrow quirked, intrigued by your defiance. âthat doesnât answer my question, baby,â he murmured, the pet name rolling off his tongue with a smoothness that sent a fresh wave of heat coursing through you.
you inhaled deeply, trying to steady your breathing. âi think you already know the answer,â you whispered.
âi want to hear you say it,â he demanded softly, his voice laced with authority.
you let out a shaky breath, your walls finally crumbling. âyou make me crazy,â you admitted, the words barely audible.
his hand slid lower, his fingers teasing the curve of your ass as he leaned in closer. âis that so?â he whispered, his tone dripping with satisfaction.
but you werenât done. your hand lifted, fingers trailing along his neck, down his chest, and lower, stopping just above his belt. gripping the leather lightly, you tugged him closer, your lips brushing his ear. âtake me home and find out,â you murmured, your voice sultry and filled with promise.
jayâs eyes darkened, his jaw clenching slightly as his gaze dropped to your lips. for a moment, it felt like the world stopped, the tension between you crackling like electricity.
without another word, he pulled back, his phone already in his hand. âbet,â he said simply, his voice steady but his eyes still burning as he stepped around the corner to order a cab.
you leaned back against the wall, your heart racing, your skin still tingling from his touch. this was newâthis was something neither of you could ignore. and as the anticipation bubbled in your chest, you couldnât help but smile, knowing the night was far from over.
as jay disappeared around the corner to order the cab, you leaned back against the wall, attempting to steady your racing heart. his touch lingered like a trail of fire on your skin, and you couldnât shake the way his voiceâlow, teasing, and possessiveâhad made you feel utterly weak. you took another sip of your drink, the coolness doing little to extinguish the heat that had spread through your body.
your gaze wandered, and it didnât take long to find jake and heesung. they were still on the couch where youâd left them, and the moment your eyes met theirs, you regretted looking their way.
they were putting on a full-blown performance, clearly reenacting what little theyâd witnessed of your interaction with jay.
jake had an arm slung dramatically around heesungâs shoulders, doing his best impression of your earlier actions. heesung batted his eyelashes, clutching an imaginary drink as he leaned into jake.
âoh, stop, iâm blushing!â heesung teased, pretending to giggle as he tilted his head like he was expecting a kiss on the cheek. jake leaned in with exaggerated slowness, and the two burst into laughter before they could even finish the mock kiss.
it didnât end there. heesung suddenly straightened up, pulling an invisible belt like heâd seen you do with jay, his action dripping with playful exaggeration. jake let out a cackle, wheezing, barely able to contain himself.
their antics caught the attention of a few people around them, who were now glancing over and chuckling at their over-the-top performance.
you groaned inwardly, rolling your eyes. of course theyâd turn what little they saw into something absurd. but as ridiculous as they were, you couldnât help the small smile creeping onto your face.
jake was the first to notice you watching. his grin widened, and he immediately elbowed heesung, nodding in your direction. they both froze, their expressions turning comically innocent like they hadnât just been clowning you moments earlier.
it didnât last long. heesung gave you an exaggerated thumbs-up, his grin shameless.
âyouâre welcome!â he yelled across the room, loud enough for you to hear clearly over the music.
you sighed, lifting your hand to flip them off with a slow, deliberate motion.
jake clutched his chest in offense, gasping dramatically, throwing himself against heesung like heâd been struck. heesung shook his head, laughing, clearly enjoying the moment far too much.
you rolled your eyes, unable to hold back the grin that tugged at your lips. no matter how much they teased, you knew theyâd be cheering you on the whole way through. with one last amused glance at their ridiculous display, you turned your focus back to the moment ahead.
because as much as they enjoyed their antics, they didnât know what had just transpired between you and jay. and judging by the fire still burning in your chest, you werenât ready to share it with anyone just yet.
jay came back shortly after, his presence as confident as ever. âyou ready?â he asked with a teasing smirk, his hand slipping effortlessly into yours. the simple gesture made your stomach flutter, but you masked it with a coy smile, letting him lead you back toward the couch.
as you approached, it was painfully obvious jake and heesung had been up to no good. they sat there pretending to have the worldâs driest conversation about the âarchitectural integrityâ of the clubâs interior. their poorly hidden giggles betrayed them, and you could practically see the mischief radiating off them.
the moment their eyes landed on your intertwined hands, their mouths stretched into matching, shit-eating grins. they exchanged a quick look, clearly bursting with pride at their matchmaking success.
âweâre leaving,â jay announced nonchalantly, his tone cool and indifferent. âheading to y/nâs place.â
their grins widened, barely able to contain themselves.
âguysss,â jake whined dramatically, leaning forward with his chin in his hands. âdonât you wanna hang out with us a little longer? itâs been such a fun night.â
jay didnât even blink. âdonât ask dumb questions,â he said flatly, leaving jake mock-offended as he clutched his chest and let out an exaggerated gasp.
âwow, okay, guess weâre just chopped liver now,â heesung chimed in, shaking his head as if deeply betrayed.
you giggled, amused at their dramatics, as you walked around the table to grab your purse. but before you could escape, the boys were on their feet, ready to send you off with one last round of chaos.
heesung clapped jay on the back and said goodbye with a knowing smirk, but it was jake who went in for the kill.
as you bent down to pick up your bag, jake leaned in close, his voice low and teasing. âbe a good girl, yeah?â
you froze for half a second before whipping your head around to give him a sharp look. âjake,â you warned, your tone laced with disbelief.
he laughed, brushing it off like he hadnât just said something that would replay in your mind for the rest of the night. before you could respond, he pulled you into a suffocating hug, swaying you side to side like an overly affectionate big brother.
âjake,â you groaned, your voice strained. âif you donât let me go, iâm gonna throw up all over your ridiculously overpriced suit.â
he released you immediately, holding his hands up in mock surrender. âfine, fine,â he said with a grin. âbut you owe me for being such a great friend.â
jay shook his head, amused, as he stepped forward to dap up jake. meanwhile, you turned to heesung, who was already smirking as he pulled you into a hug.
âdo everything iâd do,â he muttered into your ear, his tone dripping with mischief.
you leaned back, raising an eyebrow. âhee, i think youâve got that saying wrong.â
he shrugged, his grin widening. ânah, you heard me.â
you rolled your eyes but couldnât help laughing. their antics were relentless.
as you turned to leave, heesung suddenly called out, âwait, jayâone more thing!â
jay sighed, already looking annoyed, but walked back over to him anyway.
heesung waved him closer, gesturing like he had some urgent, life-changing information to share. jay leaned down, and in one swift motion, heesung slipped something into his hand.
jay straightened up and opened his palm to reveal an xxl condom. your jaw dropped, and you clapped a hand over your mouth to stifle your laughter.
jay stared at the condom, then up at heesung, who was already grinning like a fool. jake was no better, nearly doubled over in silent laughter.
after a beat of silence, jay let out the most sarcastic laugh youâd ever heard, his expression deadpan as he raised his hand to dap up heesung.
heesung, thinking heâd succeeded in his prank, lifted his hand eagerlyâonly for jay to drop his own and toss the condom back at him with a straight face.
âyouâre actually insane,â jay said, shaking his head in disbelief as he turned to grab your hand.
you couldnât hold it in anymore, bursting into laughter as jay tried to pull you toward the exit.
âwhat, dude? we just donât wanna be uncles yet!â jake called after you, his voice full of fake concern.
without missing a beat, you turned your head back to them and shouted, âdonât worry. i have my own!â
their laughter exploded as jay finally led you away, his own chuckle slipping out as he shook his head. your friends were a pain, but you couldnât deny theyâd played a part in making the night unforgettable.
stepping outside into the crisp night air, the chill brushed against your skin, but it wasnât the cold that sent shivers down your spine. it was the situation. your mind, slightly hazy from the alcohol, began to clear as reality hit. this wasnât just another playful night with jay. there was something electric about this momentâsomething that made your nerves buzz and your heart race. despite the countless teasing and bold words exchanged between you two, the idea of acting on them felt entirely new, thrilling, and terrifying.
jay noticed the goosebumps on your arms almost immediately. without hesitation, he slipped off his jacket, draping it over your shoulders. the weight of it, the lingering scent of his cologne, enveloped you, and your pulse quickened. it was a simple gesture, but the effect it had on you was anything but. little did he know the goosebumps werenât from the coldâif anything, the alcohol had kept you warmâbut from the thought of him, his touch, his presence.
âthe cabâs going to be here in a couple of minutes,â he said softly, his voice cutting through the stillness of the night.
you nodded, leaning your back against the wrought iron fence in the dimly lit parking lot, your eyes trailing over him. jay looked impossibly handsome under the soft glow of the streetlights, his dark hair slightly tousled, his features sharp yet softened by the gentle lighting. you couldnât help the smile tugging at your lips as you admired him openly.
âwhat?â he asked, his usual confident tone faltering slightly as your gaze lingered.
ânothing,â you replied with a grin, your voice light and teasing. âyouâre just really handsome.â
he rolled his eyes, a soft laugh escaping him, but the faint blush dusting his cheeks didnât go unnoticed. âyouâre impossible,â he murmured, though the smile tugging at the corners of his mouth betrayed him.
he stepped closer, leaning his shoulder against the fence beside you. the proximity made your heart race, and when his eyes met yours again, the world seemed to slow down.
you shifted, turning your body fully to face him, the playful air between you giving way to something more vulnerable. âso,â you began, your voice softer now, âwho was that girl really?â
jay raised an eyebrow, his smile growing wider. âso you were jealous.â
you quickly shook your head, though you couldnât stop the small laugh that escaped. âi wasnât jealous. just curious,â you countered, though even you werenât convinced by your own words.
he chuckled, his laugh warm and low, sending a shiver down your spine. âshe was no one. honestly, she stopped me outside the bathroom and just started talking. i think her friends dared her or somethingâshe kept glancing back at this group of girls, and they were all staring and giggling like maniacs.â he shook his head, laughing at the absurdity of it.
you snorted, the ridiculousness of the situation breaking through your earlier tension. âsounds like quite the encounter.â
his gaze shifted then, darkening slightly as his teasing tone faded. âbut what about you?â he asked, his voice dropping. âwhy were jake and heesung being so flirty with you?â
you smirked, leaning in slightly. ânow look whoâs jealous.â
he scoffed, his hand brushing against yours as he closed the small gap between you. âof course iâm jealous. how could i not be?â his voice was lower now, his words deliberate and dripping with sincerity. âjust look at you.â
you tilted your head, a teasing smile playing on your lips. âwhat can i say, jongseong? youâre one lucky man.â
his expression softened, his eyes scanning your face like he was memorizing every detail. âi am,â he admitted quietly. âyouâre⌠unreal. like some angel who just fell out of the sky. i know it sounds cheesy, but⌠iâve never felt like this before. not about anyone.â
his words hung in the air, their weight settling over you and making your chest tighten. youâd always known jay was smooth with words, but the raw honesty in his voice now was enough to leave you speechless.
âshit,â he muttered, his eyes dropping to your lips. he trailed off, but the way his body leaned into yours told you everything he didnât say.
and then his lips were on yours, hot and insistent. the kiss was everything youâd imagined and more, his mouth moving against yours with a hunger that made your knees weak. you responded immediately, your hands tangling in his hair as you pulled him closer, deepening the kiss.
his hand found your waist, gripping it firmly as his other braced against the fence behind you. the feel of his body pressed against yours, the heat radiating off him, was intoxicating. every nerve in your body seemed to light up under his touch, and when his teeth grazed your lower lip, a quiet moan slipped from you.
the sound seemed to embolden him, but before either of you could take it further, a car honked nearby, pulling you both out of the moment. you turned to see a sleek black car pulling up to the curb, the driver glancing your way with an unreadable expression.
jay let out a soft laugh, his forehead resting against yours for a brief moment before he pulled back slightly. âcabâs here,â he said, his voice still husky.
he took your hand, guiding you toward the car and opening the door for you. you slid in, rolling your eyes playfully at his gentlemanly ways but secretly loving every second of it. he climbed in after you, settling beside you and reaching over to buckle your seatbelt before you could. the small, intimate gesture made your heart flutter, and you leaned back into the seat, trying to compose yourself.
as the car pulled away, the tension between you two was palpable. the driverâs presence kept things quiet, but you could feel jayâs thigh pressing against yours, his hand resting dangerously close to your own.
âuh,â he began, clearing his throat awkwardly. âsorry if i was too forward back there. iââ
you cut him off with a quiet âshut up,â turning to him and pressing your lips to his once more.
jay stiffened briefly before relaxing, his hand finding its way to your thigh as you twisted to face him. the kiss deepened, your hands wandering over his chest, tracing the lines of his body. his fingers gripped your leg, sliding slightly upward, and your breath hitched at the contact.
you knew this was reckless, making out in the backseat of a cab with a stranger just feet away, but you couldnât bring yourself to care. all the tension that had built between you two over the past months was finally spilling over, and you werenât about to stop.
jay groaned softly when your teeth grazed his lower lip, and the sound sent another wave of heat through you. your lips left his, trailing kisses along his jaw and down his neck, and he leaned back slightly, giving you better access. you were just about to leave a mark when the car came to a sudden stop.
the abrupt halt had you both groaning in frustration, and jay pulled out his wallet, handing the driver a wad of cashâfar more than necessary. probably his way of apologizing for the awkward atmosphere you two had just created.
the driver nodded, clearly unimpressed but grateful for the generous tip. you climbed out of the car, jayâs hand finding yours again as he led you toward the entrance of your apartment complex. neither of you spoke, the tension still crackling between you, and you knew the night was far from over.
you rushed into the building, gripping jayâs hand tightly, your heels echoing against the floor as you practically dragged him toward the elevator. his fingers intertwined with yours, his palm warm and firm, grounding you even as anticipation buzzed through your veins. the cool air from outside had barely faded from your skin, but the heat between you two was already rekindling, more intense with every step. jay trailed close behind, his free hand brushing lightly against the small of your back, the touch sending sparks up your spine.
as soon as the elevator doors slid open, you stepped inside, your focus solely on the buttons as you pressed the one for your floor. jay, however, was far more interested in you than the machinery. the moment the doors closed, he moved behind you, his hands slipping around your waist to pull you against him. the action was gentle yet possessive, his lips already brushing the side of your neck.
âcouldnât wait until we got upstairs?â you teased breathlessly, tilting your head slightly to give him better access.
jay chuckled lowly, his voice a soft growl in your ear. ânot when you look like this.â his lips pressed against the sensitive skin of your neck, trailing wet, open-mouthed kisses from your jawline down to your shoulder. the heat of his breath and the softness of his lips left you shivering, though it had nothing to do with the air conditioning in the lift.
you let out a soft sigh, leaning your head back against his shoulder, your body molding itself against his. the faint scent of his cologne mingled with the lingering alcohol on his breath, a heady combination that made your thoughts blur. his hands began to roam, one slipping to rest on your hip while the other grazed the curve of your waist. each touch was slow and deliberate, as if he were trying to memorize every inch of you.
your breathing hitched when you felt his arousal pressing against your lower back. jayâs movements grew bolder, his lips finding a particularly sensitive spot on your neck that made you bite your lip to stifle a moan.
you spun around to face him, breaking his trail of kisses. the look in his eyesâdark and filled with needâmade your stomach twist in the best way. before he could say anything else, you grabbed his collar, pulling him down for a kiss. it was immediate and desperate, your mouths moving together as though you were starved for each other. your fingers threaded through his hair, tugging gently, and the low groan he let out only fueled the fire building inside you.
just as his hands slid lower, grazing the curve of your ass, the elevator dinged, the doors sliding open to reveal your floor. reluctantly, you pulled back, your lips swollen and your breathing heavy. jay didnât let go of you, though, his hand finding yours again as he guided you out of the elevator.
his steps faltered slightly as he looked down the wrong hallway. âthis way, right?â he asked, glancing at you with an innocent smile.
you rolled your eyes, tugging him gently in the opposite direction. âwrong way, loverboy,â you teased, your voice light despite the tension simmering between you.
he chuckled softly, following your lead, though he couldnât resist letting his gaze wander. walking behind you, his eyes drifted to the sway of your hips, and before he could stop himself, his hand reached out to deliver a light slap to your ass. you turned your head to glare at him, though the amused smile tugging at your lips gave you away..
as you approached your apartment door, you let go of jayâs hand, fishing through your purse for your keys. your fingers fumbled slightly, whether from the alcohol, the adrenaline, or jayâs wandering hands, which had returned to your waist, sliding over your curves with deliberate slowness. his lips brushed against the shell of your ear, and you could feel his smile against your skin.
âbe patient,â you teased, glancing over your shoulder to meet his heated gaze. âiâm not going anywhere.â
jay let out a low chuckle, but his hands betrayed his growing impatience, gripping your hips tighter. finally, you managed to retrieve the keys, unlocking the door with a satisfying click. before you could step inside, jay pushed the door open, his movements swift as he guided you in and closed it behind you. the door locked with a decisive snap, and just like that, the tension between you reignited.
his lips were on yours in an instant, the kiss messy and frantic. your fingers tangled in his hair, tugging just hard enough to draw a low growl from him, while his hands roamed freely, exploring every inch of you he could reach. you were drowning in him, lost in the heat of his touch and the intoxicating pull of his lips.
but just as your fingers found the buckle of his belt, jay abruptly pulled back, his hands falling to his sides as he stepped back slightly. the look on his face was one of hesitation, his brows furrowed as though he was wrestling with himself.
âare you okay?â you asked softly, your chest still heaving as you tried to catch your breath.
jay ran a hand through his hair, avoiding your gaze for a moment. âi just⌠are you sure you want to do this?â he asked, his voice quieter now. âweâre drunk⌠i just⌠i want our first time to be special.â his words were hesitant, uncharacteristically shy for someone usually so confident.
you blinked at him, his concerns sinking in. part of you wanted to laugh at the absurdity of itâafter all, you knew exactly what you wanted, and it was him. but the sincerity in his eyes stopped you. he wasnât just stalling for the sake of it; he truly cared.
he hesitated again, looking away as if he were afraid of your reaction. âi just donât want this to mess things up between us. i donât want you to regret it in the morning.â
you sighed, slipping off his jacket and hanging it neatly on a hook before toeing off your heels. âif you think thatâs best, then we donât have to do anything,â you said, stepping closer and cupping his face in your hands. âi trust you, jay.â
but despite your calm words, frustration simmered beneath the surface. he had left you on the edge, your body practically vibrating with need, and now he wanted to stop? you couldnât decide whether to laugh or cry at how ridiculous the situation was. still, you respected him too much to push.
jay bit his lip, his expression torn. âitâs not that i donât want to,â he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. âtrust me, iâve never wanted anything more. butâŚâ he trailed off, his eyes darting to the floor before meeting yours again. his teasing smirk returned, though it didnât quite reach his eyes. âhow about we pick this up tomorrow? first thing in the morning?â
you raised an eyebrow at him, unimpressed but choosing not to argue. instead, you leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. âsure,â you murmured, though your tone betrayed your irritation.
you walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, trying to cool off in more ways than one. jay followed, leaning against the counter in silence. his jaw was tense, his eyes focused on some distant point as though deep in thought. it was clear he was second-guessing his decision, his discomfort only heightened by the obvious strain in his pants.
you smirked, an idea forming in your mind. setting your glass down, you leaned over the kitchen island, deliberately arching your back to give him a perfect view of your ass. the action snapped him out of his thoughts, his eyes darkening as they locked onto you.
âiâm going to take a shower,â you said casually, flipping your hair over your shoulder to expose your neckâthe same neck he had been so eager to mark earlier.
jayâs lips parted as if to say something, but he remained silent, his gaze fixed on you.
you started to walk away, throwing one last smirk over your shoulder. âgoodnight, loverboy,â you teased.
âwait,â he called out, his voice strained.
you turned, feigning innocence. âyes?â
he hesitated, his fists clenching at his sides. âare you sure⌠weâre on the same page?â
you bit back a laugh, recognizing his internal struggle for what it was. stepping closer, you looked up at him, your lips curving into a sly smile. âsure,â you said, your tone dripping with sarcasm. âbut honestly? i think youâre all talk.â
the words hit their mark, his jaw tightening as his ego flared. âfuck you,â he hissed, before pulling you against him, his lips crashing down on yours once more. his hand found your jaw, tilting your head to the side as he resumed his assault on your neck, this time with more intensity.
you grinned in success. finally, nothing was standing in your way.
he captured your lips again, his hands firm yet gentle as he guided you backward until the couch pressed against the back of your knees. without breaking the kiss, jayâs fingers skillfully found the zipper of your dress, pulling it down in one smooth motion. the fabric fell from your shoulders, pooling at your feet to reveal the black lace lingerie youâd chosen earlier that night. he pulled away momentarily, his gaze sweeping over your figure with a mix of admiration and desire.
as he began trailing kisses back toward your lips, his mouth left a burning path along your skinâstarting at your thighs, teasingly brushing against your clothed heat, moving to your stomach, breasts, collarbones, and finally back to your neck. each kiss was slow and deliberate, as though he wanted to savor every inch of you. he unclasped your bra, sliding it off and tossing it carelessly to the floor before his eyes returned to your bare chest.
jayâs lips parted slightly, and for a moment, he just stared, taking in the sight of you completely exposed before him. a smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. âyouâre just too perfect, arenât you?â he murmured, his hands cupping your breasts, his thumbs brushing lightly over your sensitive peaks. âseriously, how the fuck did i get this lucky?â
his lips found your skin again, marking you as though he were leaving a map of his journey across your body. you rolled your eyes at his teasing, though a smirk of your own played on your lips.
âmaybe iâm the lucky one,â you shot back, sliding your hands beneath his sweater and tugging it over his head, revealing his toned chest. the sight of his defined muscles had your pulse racing, but you didnât let it distract you. with newfound determination, you moved to unbuckle his belt, picking up where youâd left off in the heat of the moment earlier. in one swift motion, you pulled his pants and boxers down together, his erection springing free.
the size of him caught you off guard, your eyes widening slightly as you connected the dots about the xxl condom heeseung had teased him about. jay noticed your reaction and let out a low chuckle, his confidence only growing. âlooks like i wasnât the only one talking a big game,â he teased, his smirk widening.
your gaze snapped back to his, a spark of determination flaring in your chest. you were going to prove him wrong. you sank to your knees in front of him, your fingers brushing against his thighs as you prepared to take him in your mouth, but before you could, he grabbed your waist, lifting you effortlessly and laying you back onto the couch.
âyou first, princess,â he said, the nickname sending a shiver through you. he grinned at the way your body seemed to melt beneath his touch, leaning down to kiss your lips one more time before shifting lower.
his hands found the sides of your hips, hooking his fingers into the waistband of your panties and sliding them down your legs. the cool air against your bare skin only heightened your anticipation as he tossed the fabric aside. his gaze lingered on your glistening core, and he let out a low groan.
âfuck, youâre flawless,â he murmured, his voice thick with desire. âand so fucking wet.â
âjust for you, seongie,â you teased, the nickname making his head tilt slightly as he bit his lip. the effect it had on him was clear, and you took advantage of it, tangling your fingers in his hair and pulling him closer. âdonât make me wait,â you whispered impatiently.
jayâs tongue traced a slow, deliberate line along your slit, and the sensation had your body trembling almost instantly. he smiled against you, the vibration of his amusement only adding to the intensity. his lips wrapped around your most sensitive spot, sucking gently before his tongue began working in circles. your back arched involuntarily, a string of soft moans spilling from your lips.
âjay,â you managed to mumble, though your voice was barely audible over the sound of your own heartbeat. hearing his name roll off your tongue so sweetly made him hum in response, the added stimulation pushing you closer to the edge.
the knot in your stomach tightened, your body reacting to every flick and stroke of his tongue. an idea sparked in your mind, and with a shaky breath, you tugged lightly at his hair, pulling him back just enough to speak. his face was glistening with your slick, his lips swollen and his pupils blown wide. he looked utterly wreckedâand you hadnât even touched him yet.
âtouch yourself,â you said breathlessly, your voice laced with both a command and a plea.
his lips curled into a smirk, but he didnât hesitate. one hand disappeared between his legs as he dove back in, his tongue working you over with renewed vigor. the combination of his moans and yours filled the room, each sound pushing you both closer to your breaking points. your hips bucked against his face, seeking more, and he didnât hold back, gripping your thighs to keep you steady as he devoured you.
the tension in your core finally snapped, and your release crashed over you in waves, your body trembling as you cried out his name. jay groaned against you, his movements slowing as he licked you clean, savoring every drop of your climax. his own hand stilled, though it was clear he was still achingly hard.
when he pulled back, his face was flushed, his lips parted as he caught his breath. his gaze locked onto yours, his eyes dark with unspoken need.
you reached out, brushing your fingers against his jaw. âmy turn,â you murmured, a mischievous glint in your eye.
jay leaned back against the couch, his chest rising and falling as he tried to catch his breath. a satisfied smirk played on his lips, a mixture of pride and disbelief settling in as he replayed the last few minutes in his mind. he couldnât help but feel impressed with himself for holding it together as long as he hadâespecially considering how hard it was not to lose control the moment you kissed him in the cab. inwardly, he gave himself a silent pat on the back.
you, however, werenât finished. sitting up on shaky legs, you closed the gap between you, capturing his lips in a heated kiss. it was messy and unrestrained, your tongue brushing against his as you tasted yourself on his lips. the act alone sent another wave of arousal through your body, and jay groaned into the kiss, his fingers grazing your jaw to pull you closer.
breaking the kiss, you slid down onto your knees in front of him. jayâs dark eyes followed you, his body tense with anticipation as his chest heaved. his gaze was heavy, and you could see the thin layer of sweat glistening on his skin. he leaned back into the couch, spreading his legs slightly to give you better access. the weight of his arousal was evident, his cock flushed and rigid, standing tall between his thighs.
you started slow, trailing light kisses along the inside of his thighs. his muscles twitched under your touch, and a low groan escaped his lips. your fingers wrapped around his length, stroking him gently as you worked your way closer. jay tilted his head back, his eyes fluttering shut as he let the sensation wash over him. but that wasnât what you wanted. you wanted his attentionâall of it.
you paused abruptly, releasing him from your grasp. his eyes snapped open, the confusion and slight panic evident as he looked down at you. âwhatâs wrong?â he asked, his voice husky and laced with concern.
you tilted your head, your tone firm but teasing as you commanded, âlook at me.â
jayâs brows furrowed, and a soft, involuntary moan slipped from his lips. there was something about the dominance in your voice, the way you took control, that drove him wild. âyes, maâam,â he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper, his eyes locking with yours.
satisfied with his obedience, you resumed your teasing, your tongue flicking out to lick a slow line from the base of his shaft to the tip. your movements were deliberate, your eyes never leaving his as you circled the sensitive head with your tongue, tasting the salty bead of precum that had already formed. his breath hitched, and his hands clenched at his sides as he fought to keep himself grounded.
when you finally took him into your mouth, jayâs hand instinctively found its way to your hair. he gathered it into a ponytail, his grip firm yet careful, as though he were afraid of hurting you. you started slow, taking as much of him as you could manage, though his size made it a challenge. your cheeks hollowed as you sucked, and jay let out a deep groan, his hips shifting slightly.
âfuck,â he muttered, his voice strained as he tried to keep himself in check. but the sight of you on your knees, your lips wrapped around him, was too much. his resolve was crumbling, and he knew it.
each time you slid him deeper into your mouth, the tip of his cock brushed against the back of your throat, making you gag softly. jay noticed your struggle and let out a low chuckle, his voice tinged with both amusement and lust. âyouâre doing so good, baby,â he praised, his hand gently guiding your movements as he pushed and pulled on your hair.
you used one hand to stroke the length you couldnât take, your movements synchronized with the bobbing of your head. occasionally, you pulled back to catch your breath, your hand continuing to work him as you pressed kisses and sucked lightly along his length, teasing him further. jay was a mess, his lips parted as he panted, his head falling back against the couch. his other hand gripped the cushion tightly as he tried to keep himself together.
âlet me hear you, jay,â you murmured, your voice soft but commanding. âdonât hold it back.â
his head snapped back up at your words, his dark eyes meeting yours as he finally let go. a string of deep, guttural moans poured from his lips, each one making your core tighten with need. the sounds of his pleasure were addictive, spurring you on as you sucked harder, your cheeks hollowing to intensify the sensation.
you quickened your pace, your hand and mouth working together seamlessly. jayâs grip on your hair tightened slightly, his hips bucking up involuntarily as he lost himself in the pleasure. âfuck, baby, iâm close,â he warned, his voice shaky and breathless.
with one final swirl of your tongue around his tip and a firm stroke of your hand, jayâs body tensed. his release came in hot, thick spurts down your throat, and you swallowed every drop without hesitation. his moans echoed through the room, raw and unrestrained, as his body shuddered from the intensity of his climax.
you pulled back slowly, licking your lips and catching any stray drops that had escaped. jay looked completely wrecked, his chest heaving as he tried to regain his composure. his head lolled back against the couch, and his eyes fluttered shut as a satisfied groan escaped his lips.
but you werenât done. the ache between your legs was unbearable, and the sight of jay so undone only made it worse. your thighs pressed together instinctively, trying to find some relief, but it wasnât enough.
jay opened his eyes, his gaze heavy with exhaustion but still laced with hunger. he noticed the way you were squirming, your need evident in the way you looked at him. a lazy smirk spread across his face. âlooks like someone needs a little more attention,â he teased, his voice low and teasing. you bit your lip, your cheeks flushing slightly as you nodded.
jay reached out, his fingers brushing against your cheek before trailing down your body. âthen let me take care of you,â he murmured, his smirk shifting into a soft, genuine smile.
jay smirked at the match of energy you gave him, his hands resting on your hips as you slowly adjusted yourself in his lap to straddle him. your eyes locked, the unspoken tension in the air making your breaths heavier before you leaned in, capturing his lips in a kiss that was far more heated than the ones before. it was raw, passionate, and both of you couldnât help the soft moans that escaped into each other's mouths as you tasted the combined remnants of yourselves on each otherâs tongues.
his hands traveled down your body, settling on your ass and squeezing firmly. the action made you gasp against his lips, and he took the opportunity to deepen the kiss further. when he broke away, he trailed his lips back down to your chest, focusing his attention on your breasts once more, kissing, sucking, and lightly biting the sensitive flesh. sweet hums slipped from your lips as your fingers tangled in his hair, keeping him exactly where you wanted him.
you started grinding against him slowly, your arousal evident as you rubbed yourself along his length, desperate for more. jay groaned into your skin, his hands moving to hold your hips firmly in place. one of his hands slid down between your thighs, his fingers finding your clit and circling it softly, the touch sending jolts of electricity through your body.
you pulled his lips back to yours for another deep, messy kiss, the moan in your throat muffled as you whispered, âplease, jay.â
he froze for a moment, your plea echoing in his mind. he didnât even need you to beg, but hearing those words fall from your lips so willingly ignited something deep inside him. "fuck, princess," he murmured against your lips before leaning forward to reach for his pants, holding you steady with one hand so you wouldnât fall back.
jay pulled out a condom from his pocket, his lips quirking into a grin. you laughed softly, tilting your head back. âhow ironic,â you teased. âi was wondering why you didnât take the ones from hee earlier. now i guess i know why.â
he laughed against your shoulder, his breath warm on your skin. âyouâre making me look crazy, like i planned this whole thing from the start.â
you bit your lip, trying to keep a straight face but failing miserably. âyou didnât?â you asked, feigning offense.
âit spawned in my pocket, okay? end of topic,â he quipped, his grin wide. ânow kiss me and forget we even had this conversation.â
you shook your head, laughing, but complied, leaning in to kiss him deeply as he fumbled to open the condom behind your back. once it was ready, he leaned back slightly, rolling it on before meeting your gaze.
placing your hands on his shoulders, you slowly lifted yourself, adjusting to align yourself with him. the anticipation built as you began to lower yourself, his tip stretching you inch by inch. you both groaned at the overwhelming sensation, your tightness making it difficult to take him in completely.
jayâs hand came up to stroke your head gently, his thumb brushing soothingly along your temple. âslow down, princess,â he murmured, his tone soft and reassuring. âiâm not going anywhere.â
his words sent a wave of calm through you, allowing you to relax and adjust. a small giggle escaped your lips, and jay smirked at the sound, pleased to see you loosening up. with a deep breath, you lowered yourself fully, gasping as he filled you completely. his hands settled back on your hips, his eyes scanning your face for any sign of discomfort.
âyouâre doing so good, baby,â he praised, his voice filled with genuine admiration. the way he said it, so sweet and sincere, made you lean forward and kiss him again, your lips pressing against his in a needy, desperate way. slowly, you began to move, grinding yourself up and down his length.
the initial sting of pain dissolved into pure pleasure as you found your rhythm, your hips rolling fluidly against him. jay met your movements halfway, his own hips snapping up to match your pace. his grip on your waist tightened as his other hand trailed up to cup your breast, his thumb brushing over your sensitive nipple.
the sounds in the room were sinfulâbreathless moans, gasps, and the slick sound of your bodies meeting in perfect harmony. your brows furrowed, your lips parting as waves of pleasure rippled through you. jay cursed under his breath at the sight of you, his own restraint faltering as he felt his release creeping closer.
âfuck, youâre perfect,â he groaned, leaning forward to capture your lips once again. his lips trailed down your jawline to your neck, where he nipped and kissed, leaving faint marks behind. the added sensation made you tremble, and your movements quickened, your thighs burning as you chased your high.
jayâs fingers found your clit again, rubbing circles against it in time with your thrusts. the overwhelming pleasure sent you over the edge, a loud, broken moan escaping your lips as you came undone. jay wasnât far behind, his grip on your hips tightening as he buried himself deep inside you, releasing with a guttural groan.
you collapsed against his chest, both of you struggling to catch your breath as you came down from the high. your foreheads rested together, your sweaty skin sticking slightly as you shared soft, lazy kisses. the silence that followed was peaceful, filled with nothing but the sound of your heavy breathing.
jay broke the quiet first, his voice soft and unsure. âbe my girlfriend?â
you laughed lightly, lifting your head to look at him. âyou shouldâve asked that before we had sex,â you teased, your tone playful.
jayâs face lit up with laughter, his deep chuckles shaking both of your bodies. âokay, fair,â he admitted, nodding. âmay i be your boyfriend, then?â he asked again, this time with a slight pout that made your heart flutter.
you smirked, pretending to think it over. âyouâre getting closerâŚâ
he tilted his head, pretending to be deep in thought before blurting out, âbe my wife.â
you laughed, poking his chest. âthatâs a little forward, donât you think?â you teased. then, softening, you added, âbut⌠yes.â
jayâs eyes lit up, and he pulled you into a deep, passionate kiss, his hands cradling your face as he grinned against your lips. the moment was interrupted by the sharp sound of a phone ringing. jay groaned in frustration, leaning back to grab his phone from where it had fallen in his pants.
when he checked the screen, both of your eyes locked on the caller ID. âcupids' worst minion?â you giggled, amused at the nickname.
jay sighed. âjake,â he muttered, earning a laugh from you. âheâs the worst at giving advice... but i guess it worked out. might have to rethink that nickname later.â
he answered the call, putting it on speaker. âoh, god, jay, you picked up?â jakeâs voice came through, laced with panic. âi donât know if thatâs a good sign.â
you giggled as jay rolled his eyes. in the background, you could hear faint laughter and the unmistakable voices of the rest of the group. âayo, you busy right now?â jungwonâs voice cut through, and you both exchanged amused looks.
âkinda, yeah,â jay replied, smirking at you.
âokay, iâll be quick,â jungwon said hurriedly. âhowâs it going with your future wife? hee and jake told us everythingâdetails and allâand iâm losing it. give us an update!â
both you and jay burst into laughter, the sound making the other line fall silent. jay smirked at the phone. âyeah, weâre locked in,â he said confidently.
silence followed for a beat before the loudest cheering erupted from the other end. you and jay laughed along with them, the sound of your shared joy filling the room.

In a 2003 interview with Legion, Flake shared a funny anecdote: "When we first came to Mexico City, we played together with Kiss at the Stadion del Sol. We flew back in the middle of the night on a Boeing 747 and shortly after takeoff Till said to me: 'Man, if we crash now, we're going to kill a few thousand people.' You have to know, we just flew over the slums. Suddenly there was a bang and it came from the front. And I thought: 'Aha, the cockpit exploded, bye, thanks!' Till said to me: 'Have a look and see if the engines are burning.' We kept sinking. At that moment I took Till's hand and said: 'I actually don't want to die!'. A stream of sweat ran down between our hands and it was dead quiet around us. The lights were off and the screens were dark too, 'So' I thought, âso now I'm going to be on the newsâ. Just like the magazine List sometimes says: 'Plane crashed - 200 dead - the causes are being investigated.' All I can say is: I now know how it feels to be in a plane like this just before it hits the ground. Paul turned to us. Very slowly, like a puppet, he made a gesture like I'd never seen before: he just waved at us, it was like, 'Guys, it was nice seeing youâ. I looked at Till and thought through everything that was in my life that happened so far and somehow in my head there was only one 'Well, yes!'... We didn't hit the ground after all, it kept going... What I only found out much later: the plane was struck by lightning and what happened is that all computer programs failed. From that moment on, the pilots flew this gigantic airplane again like before: with cables to the wings. Suddenly the Stewarts came through again and asked: What do you want to drink? Our connecting flight was then like taking a tram. There is definitely a feeling of being a newborn. In retrospect, Till, who was just writing lyrics just before the bang, said: 'I was about to write ejaculation!'" You and Terry have been dating for nearly five months, and it has been so wonderful. Like any couple, you've faced ups and downs; for instance, Terry hasn't found a job since moving to Lafayette, and you had a pregnancy scare.
Fortunately, both of you were relieved to discover you weren't pregnant, but it did spark an honest conversation about wanting kids and getting married to each other one day.
Living together now has undeniably grown you both as a couple. You've fallen more deeply in love with Terry than before. Just waking up and seeing his handsome face every day was everything.
Of course, both of you established clear boundaries that have fostered responsibility, trust, and respect in your relationship. A gentle breeze pulled you from your thoughts, and you adjusted to the soft sunlight that filtered through the trees.
You gaze over at Terry, and you can't help but smile at him laying on his back on the picnic blanket. His eyes were closed peacefully, and his chest rose and fell gently with each breath.
You turn your gaze away from him and absorb the atmosphere around you. The park presents a stunning autumn scene, filled with the sounds of chirping birds and the rustling of fallen leaves.
Though the day's warmth is slightly more intense than you'd hoped for, it only adds to the coziness of the moment. You blink, pulling yourself out of your daydreaming, and turn your attention back to Terry.
You can't help but wonder what he said moments before, triggering his soft chuckle. You feel a warmth spread through you, a mix of affection and curiosity, and you canât wait to hear whatâs on his mind.
âIâve been trying to find the best way to express this, but Iâm not sure howââ Terry starts, his words tumbling out in a rush as he begins to ramble, quickly losing his train of thought.
You watch him with concern, sensing his hesitation. âWhat is it, T?â you ask gently, placing your hand softly on his arm to offer reassurance.
After taking a deep breath, he suddenly looks directly at you, his eyes sparkling excitedly. âI want you to meet my family,â he declares, his voice filled with enthusiasm.
Surprised and nervous, you widen your eyes and respond, âReally? You mean, like⌠your parents and your family?â Terry nodded eagerly, his bright, expressive eyes gleaming with warmth and genuine affection.
A wide, sincere smile stretched across his face. âYes, baby! I want my family to finally meet the incredible woman Iâm in love with,â he proclaimed, his voice infused with enthusiasm that hung like a melody in the crisp air around you.
âTheyâve been constantly asking about you and are practically excited about getting to know you!â His heartfelt words enveloped you in a comforting embrace, easing the nervous flutter of uncertainty gripping your stomach.
The notion of becoming part of his family ignited a joyful spark within you, painting vivid images in your mind of laughter-filled gatherings and shared experiences.
Yet, despite the warmth swelling in your chest, you couldnât shake a twinge of hesitation. You glanced at him, unsure of the expectations swirling around this moment.
Noticing the uncertainty in your expression, Terry's demeanor shifted. The enthusiasm in his eyes dimmed slightly as a shadow of concern crossed his face.
He shifted his gaze downward, struggling with his own words. Clearing his throat, he spoke again, his voice softening to a more tentative tone.
âBut if you donât think youâre ready for that, then itâs completely okay,â Terry said, his sincerity evident. He rose from the soft blanket as he took a few steps away.
You stood up immediately, your heart urging you to bridge the space between you. With a gentle resolve, you walked toward him and wrapped your arms around his waist. "Terry, I'm ready"
The sweetness of your voice prompted him to turn around, and in that moment, his expression shifted. Wonder flickered in his eyes, quickly replaced by gratitude and hope.
"I would love to meet your family, Terry!" you said with a warm, inviting smile, excited at the thought. He paused for a moment, his expression shifting to one of surprise.
"Wait, are you sure?" he asked, a hint of uncertainty in his voice. "Yes!" you replied confidently, your heart racing. Terryâs face broke into a bright smile, unable to contain his joy.
He scooped you up effortlessly and spun you around in a playful circle. "Terry, put me down!" you laughed with exhilaration and wrapped your arms around his shoulders.
"Oh, sweetheart, I'm glad to hear that! I was going to ask you if you wanted to go with me this Thursday coming up for Thanksgiving," he said, gently setting you back on your feet but still holding you close.
"Of course I want to go! But only if you come with me to my parents' house tomorrow," you proposed, playfully poking your lips towards him, eyes closed in anticipation. "Seal it with a kiss."
He leaned in and kissed you passionately, sending a warm rush through your body. "Mmm, TerryâŚwhy do you have to do that with your tongue?" you purred, biting your lip.
You gazed up into his eyes; the playfulness between you was real. He shrugged, a smirk dancing across his lips. "Donât act like you donât love it," he teased.
Terry suddenly grabbed your ass, causing you to squeal in surprise and delight. You looked up at him, your eyes filled with a mix of affection and lust.
-
It was a bright, sunny day, the kind where the warmth of the sun seemed to create a joyful atmosphere. You and Terry strolled hand in hand along the familiar path to your parents' ranch home.
As you approached the front door, Terry glanced down at his clothes for the fifth time, a nervous look on his face. âDo I look good?â he asked, adjusting a collar that didnât need fixing.
You chuckled softly, your heart swelling with affection. âSweetie, you look absolutely handsome. Stop worrying! Now come on!â you reassured him, flashing a warm smile before pressing the doorbell.
After moments of waiting, the door swung open, revealing your mom with a beaming smile illuminating her face. Without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around you in a tight, loving hug.
âHi, Mama,â you said, relishing the comfort of her embrace before gently pulling away.
âHey, my baby girlâOh,â she began, stopping mid-sentence as her eyes landed on Terry.
âOh, hello! You must be Terry. It's so nice to finally meet you! Weâve heard so much about you!â she exclaimed, pulling him into a firm, welcoming hug.
âWe would have loved to meet you sooner, butâŚâ she teased, giving you a playful glance filled with maternal affection.
âItâs truly nice to meet you too, maâam,â Terry replied, a little taken aback by the warmth of her greeting as he pulled away, looking genuinely pleased.
âCome on in, you two!â Your mom said, stepping aside to let both of you enter. The interior of your childhood home felt inviting and warm, filled with cherished memories.
Terry's eyes widened as he took in the various elements that hinted at your upbringing. âYou have a lovely house,â he said, glancing around the cozy living room and noting family photos adorning the walls.
Each picture told a story, capturing moments of laughter and love with you and your parents. He added, âIt feels so homey here.â You looked up at him and felt pleased to see the look in his eyes.
âWhy, thank you, honey!â your mom replied, closing the front door gently behind you. Her eyes sparkled with appreciation, and Terry nodded admiringly at her.
His earlier nerves started to dissipate, and he switched his attention back to you, a sweet smile lighting up his face. Your mom led you both into the living room.
Your dad and some other family members were waiting there. He was seated on the couch, a comforting presence exuding the authority of a protective father.
"Hey...now, there's my sweet pea," your dad said, clapping his hands and standing up. He quickly crossed the room to envelop you in a warm, tight hug.
"Hi, Dad!" you said with a chuckle before pulling away from the hug to motion him towards Terry. âWhoâs this?â Your dad asked, glancing over at Terry, his brow slightly furrowed.
Terry shifted his weight from one foot to the other, a subtle sign of his nervousness, while you instinctively squeezed his hand, offering him strength.
âDad, this is Terry, my boyfriend,â you proudly introduced him, smiling warmly at your dad. âAnd Terry, this is my dad.â Terry took a deep breath, clearly feeling the weight of your dadâs scrutinizing gaze.
You shifted your eyes nervously between them, hoping this potentially awkward moment would pass without incident. âTerry, huh?â your dad began, his expression severe and unwelcoming.
âSo, Terry, what are your intentions with my daughter?â your dad asked. Your heart raced a little at the question, but you understood your dad's protective instincts came from a caring place.
Sensing the moment's gravity, Terry straightened his posture, his voice steady and confident. âI intend to treat her with the respect and the love she deserves, sir. She means a lot to me;"
Terry moves his eyes away from your dad to look at you. "I love her and care deeply about her. I see myself spending the rest of my life with her, honestly.â
Your heart fluttered as you smiled at him, and Your dad nodded thoughtfully, a satisfied smile slowly creeping onto his face as he assessed Terry's response.
âGood answer. If you treat her right, we wonât have any problems. But let me be clear: if you hurt her in any way, youâll have to answer to me and my shotgun.â
Terry was confused on the last part until your dad pointed the shot gun above the fireplace. He nodded, quickly understanding. âI understand, sir. I promise,â Terry replied.
âAlright then,â your dad said, visibly relaxing now. âWelcome to the family, son.â He extended his hand, and Terry shook it firmly, smiling genuinely.
Feeling a wave of relief wash over you, you laughed lightly. âOkay, let me introduce you to everyone else,â you said, taking his hand again and leading him deeper into the living room.
With a bright smile and eagerness, you announced to your family, âHey, everyone! This is Terry, my boyfriend! Terry, this is my Uncle Eddie, my dad's brother, and his wife, my Aunt Clara,â
You pointed to each as you went along, âAnd over there are their kids, my cousins, Mia and Jalen.â
âNice to meet you all,â Terry said, offering a warm smile as he waved, his nervousness fading as he engaged with your family.
âWelcome! Itâs about time we finally met the guy who has our niecy smiling so much!â Aunt Clara exclaimed, her voice full of warmth as she pulled Terry into a hug as tight as your momâs.
âYeah, if you keep making her this happy, weâve never seen her glow so bright!â Mia joked, her playful tone earning hearty laughter from the group.
You rolled your eyes at their teasing but couldnât help but smile wider. âAlright, alright! Enough of that!â you said, laughing along. As the conversation flowed effortlessly.
The atmosphere in the room became lively and inviting, filled with laughter and childhood stories from your family. Soon, you all were around the table, and Terry gradually relaxed, engaging with everyone.
The mouthwatering aroma of the food wafted through the air, filling the room with the comforting scent of soul food, which always brought a sense of warmth and joy during family gatherings on holidays.
Dishes brimming with fried chicken wings, ham, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread were spread across the table, each a testament to home-cooked love and tradition.
After everyone had gathered and offered a heartfelt blessing over the meal, you all began eating and drifted into a conversation about anything.
Your parents asked Terry a series of questions to learn more about him, curious about his interests and background. You chimed in with answers to ease his nervousness, sharing details that highlighted Terry's personality and values.
As the conversation progressed, your dad seemed particularly fascinated by Terry's marine background. The more they talked, the more your parents began to appreciate him.
Their growing fondness for him was reflected in their expressions and laughter. It was clear that Terry was making a solid impression, and you couldnât help but feel happy seeing them get along so well.
âSo, Terry,â Uncle Eddie said, leaning back in his chair with a stern demeanor, âSince you've been done here, have you found a job?â He asked.
You and Terry exchanged an apprehensive glance, silently communicating the unexpected question. âUh...no...Iâm still looking for a job, sir,â Terry replied, his voice betraying a hint of uncertainty.
âWait, youâre telling me youâve moved here to be with her, but youâre not working? Sounds like a cozy arrangement,â he remarked, his tone sharper.
Terry kept his composure, responding steadily, âIâm actively looking for a job, sir. Moving here was a big step for me, and I want to ensure I find the right fit.â
Aunt Clara chimed in, âOh, come on, Eddie! Itâs tough out there with the job market right now. Give the boy a break.â But your uncle wasnât finished.
âSure, but it sounds like heâs just living off her. Whatâs he contributing?â he pressed, crossing his arms, a challenging look in his eyes.
You felt the tension rise and placed a reassuring hand on Terryâs lap. âUnc, please chill out. Terry has been incredibly supportive of me, and heâs been working hard to find a job that suits him.â
âSupportive, huh?â Uncle Eddie countered. âWhat the hell does that even mean? How supportive can you be if youâre not bringing in income?â
Terry spoke up, his tone calm but firm. âI may not be working right now, but Iâm doing everything I can to help around the house and support her emotionally.â
Your dad jumped in, sensing the growing hostility. âAlright, Eddie, thatâs enough. Everyoneâs situation is different; judging Terry without knowing him is unfair. Heâs trying, and that's what counts.â
âExactly,â your mom added, giving Eddie a pointed look. âRemember when you were struggling to get started? It takes time, and moving to a new place is hard. Terry deserves our support, not criticism.â
Mia and Jalen nodded in agreement. âYeah, Pops, youâre being a bit harsh,â Jalen said. With a sigh, Uncle Eddie relented slightly. âWell, heâd better step up soon if he wants to stick around,â he muttered.
The conversation gradually shifted back to lighter topics, but you felt proud of Terry for standing his ground. You squeezed his hand, and he smiled slightly in appreciation.
After dinner, everyone moved into the living room to talk and play games; you took Terry's hand and led him upstairs into your old bedroom.
âIâm really sorry about my uncle; he can be quite overwhelming at times,â you said, observing Terry as he scanned your room uncertainly.
It felt like the silence stretched between you, heavy with unspoken words. He was lost in thought, maybe processing everything around him.
âTerry, baby, you know you can talk to me,?â you asked softly, your hand finding his shoulder gently. You assured him he could lean on you, especially in such moments.
Terry turned towards you, revealing the anxiety in his eyes. âI want to give you what you deserve and to provide for you; I can't do that without a job,â he began.
âTerry, donât worry about my uncle; he just like talking shit. Youâre doing your best, and I love you so much for that,â you reassured him.
âItâs not all about what you provide; itâs about the love we share and the support we give each other. You are a good man with a good heart. Remember, weâre doing this together.â
Terry looked into your eyes, his expression softening. âYou always know how to lift me up.â
Desiring to lighten the mood further, "I know, handsome" you said with a playful grin, âHow about a joke? What do you call fake spaghetti?â
Terry raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. âI donât know, what?â
âAn impasta!â you giggled, and to your delight, he broke into laughter, the tension easing away.
âWhat? That was terrible!â he chuckled, cringing while shaking his head, but the smile on his face told you it had worked.
âWell, I have plenty more where that came from!â you teased playfully, stepping closer to him, eager to close the distance between you.
Your lips met in a sweet, lingering kiss that seemed to capture the essence of your togetherness and love. When you finally pulled away, you gazed into his eyes, which sparkled with affection.
âI love you, Terry. I truly believe things will work out; we just have to keep the faith,â you said earnestly.
âI love you too, baby. Thank you,â he replied softly, a genuine smile lighting up his face and warming your heart. Hand in hand, you both left the cozy confines of the bedroom.
Just as you stepped into the hallway, Uncle Eddie appeared unexpectedly, his eyes widening in surprise at the sight of you. âHey, there you are!â he exclaimed, but his demeanor quickly shifted to one of concern.
âI was just looking for you two. I want to apologize for my earlier behavior. Iâm really sorry, Terry, and Iâm sorry to both of you. It was unnecessary,â your uncle admitted, sincerity evident in his voice.
You glanced at Terry, who nodded in acknowledgment. âIt's cool,â he responded, showing he appreciated the gesture.
âUm, Terry,â Uncle Eddie continued, his tone shifting to a more serious note.
âI remember you talking about your jiu-jitsu training in the Marines. How would you feel about a job at my training school?â His eyes reflected genuine interest, and you gasped in disbelief.
Terryâs expression transformed into one of astonishment. âWhat? For real? Really?â he questioned, his voice a mix of excitement and surprise.
âAbsolutely! Itâs the least I could do after everything. Plus, I could really use someone with your skills and passion. We can discuss the details later,â Uncle Eddie said, his voice laced with enthusiasm as he reached out to shake Terry's hand firmly.
âOh, and you both are a beautiful couple. I wish you two the best,â he added warmly, glancing between you, showing a sense of remorse for his previous actions.
âThank you, Uncle Eddie,â you said, your smile wide as you appreciated his words and the generous offer. He nodded, visibly relieved, before turning to make his way back to the living room.
Feeling pride and excitement for Terry, you squeezed his hand tightly. âSee? Just like I said, things work out,â you beamed at him, confidence bubbling within you.
Terry grinned back, his self-assurance visibly restored. At that moment, it felt as though everything was finally aligning perfectly in your lives.
-
A few days passed, and the long-awaited day finally arrived: Thanksgiving. Today, you will be meeting Terry's family, and you have been preparing for this moment.
Terry carefully backed into a parking spot, allowing you to take in the cozy, welcoming home adorned with autumn decorations. You took a deep breath, steeling yourself for the introductions ahead.
Terry touched your lap and said, "You have nothing to worry about, baby. My family is going to love you, I promise." His comforting words boosted your spirits.
You both stepped out of the car and took a deep breath to ensure you looked presentable. Hand in hand with Terry, you walked toward the front door.
Just as you reached the halfway point, the door swung open to reveal a brown-skinned, petite, slim woman with dark brown, short hair. She stepped out of the front door to greet Terry, and when her eyes shifted to you.
You smiled shyly and said, "Hi!" Your heart raced a little as you stepped into Terry's mother's welcoming presence. She was beautiful, and it was clear where he inherited his good looks.
"Oh, hi, beautiful! Welcome to the family!" she exclaimed with warmth in her voice, and before you could respond, she enveloped you in a tight hug.
The sweet scent of her perfume filled your nose, instantly putting you at ease. You smiled back at her, and the warmth of her embrace made you feel accepted.
As you pulled away, you glanced at Terry, who was watching the exchange with a beaming smile, who was delighted. His contagious happiness made you feel even more welcome in this new family.
"It's very nice to meet you, Mrs. Richmond," you said, pulling away from the hug. She grinned and replied, "Oh, it's very nice to meet you too. Come on in."
As she walked you into her beautiful house, you exclaimed, "Wow, something smells good!"
Mrs. Richmond smiled and said, "Yes, dinner is almost ready. Terry, you and your girlfriend should get settled into the guest bedroom. Not everyone is here yet."
âSure, Ma,â Terry replied, leaning down to kiss his momâs cheek quickly before effortlessly grabbing both of your suitcases. You followed him upstairs to the cozy guest bedroom.
After freshening up and gathering your thoughts, you felt excitement mixed with nerves. Once you both returned downstairs, Terry introduced you to his dad.
"Nice to meet you, young lady" He welcomed you with a warm smile and a firm handshake. You couldn't deny how much Terry resembled his father.
Mr. Richmond exuded kindness, making you feel at ease right away. Then you met with his brother and sister, and things went similarly well; they were full of laughter, tales, and good-natured teasing.
His uncle was funny. "I see you, nephew" his uncle whispered, giving him a nudge. His niece and nephews, bursting with energy, excitedly informed you about his favorite movies and toys.
Terry's family welcomed you with genuine smiles, complimented your appearance, and was happy to finally meet you. This warmth washed away lingering nerves and filled your heart with a sense of belonging.
As you settled into the family dynamic, you laughed and joked with Janelle, his older sister. Her vibrant personality made your conversation flow easily.
However, while sharing a light-hearted story, your gaze drifted toward Terry. You couldnât help but smile at how effortlessly he played with his nieces and nephews.
Janelle noticed your distraction, followed your gaze and her expression turned knowing. âWow?â she said, raising an eyebrow playfully.
You shifted your attention to her, feeling caught. âWhat?â you asked, feigning innocence. Janelle continued, âIâve never seen anyone look at my brother like you do. Youâre really in love with him, huh?â
Her words caught you off guard, leaving you momentarily stunned that she had picked up on your feelings. You laughed shyly, brushing your hair back as you contemplated responding.
"Yes, yes, I am!" Your gaze drifted again to your boyfriend. Terry caught your gaze, and you both looked at each other lovingly. Before he could react, one of his nephews tackled him to the ground.
You giggled quietly and turned back to Janelle. "You know. I have known Terry all his life," She began with a smile.
"And he's never introduced anyone to the family before," Janelle said with a warm smile, "but until now, you might just be the one, girl. I'm really happy to see my brother with someone like you." Her words surprised you, and a swell of warmth filled your chest.
"Wow! Thanks, Janelle. That really means a lot to me, and I sincerely hope I am," you replied, feeling a rush of warmth and happiness. The atmosphere around you was inviting, and it felt like you were beginning to carve out a place in their family.
You and Janelle moved on to discussâeverything from favorite movies to embarrassing childhood storiesâuntil Terry approached, a playful glint in his eyes.
"Hey, do you want to join us for a game of spades?" he asked, nodding toward his mom and Shawn, seated at the smaller dining room table.
"Yeah," you answered. After a few lively rounds of the card game, filled with laughter and friendly banter, you felt more comfortable with his family.
It was nice to connect and share these moments. Once the game concluded and the evening wound down, you and Terry bid goodnight to everyone.
Hand in hand, you ascended the staircase to the guest bedroom. As you removed your jewelry, relishing the feeling of the day winding down.
Terry wrapped his arms around you from behind, resting his chin gently on your shoulder, creating a cocoon of warmth. "Wasn't it so bad after all?" he asked, his voice low and comforting.
You placed your earrings carefully in your bag and, still caught in his embrace, shook your head in agreement. "So why were you so nervous?" Terry asked, turning you to face him.
His eyes searched yours for an answer. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, trying to convey your feelings through the embrace.
"Honestly, I should be asking you the same thing!" You said, looking up at him sweetly. âNahâŚI asked you first, baby girl," Terry replied playfully.
His expression softened into that sweet look you adoredâthe kind that assured you that you could share anything with him, the look indicating that, from the very beginning, you were meant to be together.
"I don't know," you started, feeling vulnerable yet open. "I just had this notion in my head that they wouldnât like me, you know? But, of course, I was proved wrong. Your family is incredibly sweet, and I love them."
"I feel the same way about your family," Terry said, his expression earnest. "And honestly, even if things hadn't gone perfectly, it wouldnât matter because I never let you go. Plus, I feel youâre destined to be Mrs. Richmond."
Your heart flipped at his words, and your eyes sparkled with joy. You couldn't hold back the surge of emotion; you leaned in and pressed your lips to his in a sweet kiss.
"I'm never letting you go, either, Terry. Iâm forever yours!" you declared confidently, resting your foreheads together. Terry kissed you, but it became a bit heated. *edited* added some smut
Terry placed his hand under your skirt, feeling his fingers caressing against your now wet panties. You put a hand on his chest, halting him just inches from you. "Terry, we're not about to get it on in your parents' house."
He flashed a playful smirk, his eyes glinting with mischief as he leaned in closer, pressing his warm chest against yours. "Come on, baby," he urged, his voice low.
"All we have to do is be quiet." You raised an eyebrow in playful disbelief, curiosity mingling with a hint of challenge in your gaze. "Oh really? And how exactly do you plan on keeping me quiet?"
A smile tugged at your lips as you leaned in slightly, your voice dropping to a seductive whisper. "You know you love it when I get loud."
Terry took a step back, a glint of determination in his eyes. "I promise this time will be different. Just trust me. Iâll lock the door and play some music to drown out any sounds," he whispered, leaning in to gently kiss your neck, sending a shiver down your spine.
His words and the warmth of his breath against your skin made it hard to resist. You could feel your resolve softening as the moment's thrill washed over you. Slowly, you found yourself giving in, your heart racing with excitement.
Terry went to the Bluetooth speaker on the dresser, connected his phone, and began playing some slow jams. He turned back to you, giving you a look that you couldn't deny.
"Fine," you finally said, a smile creeping onto your lips and the lust hanging in the air. You pulled him down into a kiss, and both of you began taking each other's clothes off.
Terry lays you down on the bed, and you let a light moan as he begins kissing your inner thighs before giving your wet pussy lips the soft pecks it deserve.
You cover your mouth, trying to keep quiet as he spreads your legs out a little wider before going back to eating you out. You removed your hand from your lips and bit your lip.
You began rolling your hips to feel his face against your pussy, "Terry...ahh, it feels so good," you whimpered, and he looked up for a second with your juice on his face.
Terry plunging back between your legs and your eyes rolled in the back of your head, secured your hips up an inch to get a little bit more.
He let out a little growl, gripping your lower back to rock your hips against his face, soaking his nose and mouth. "Oh fuckâŚTerry. So feels good."
You cried in pleasure; that was always music to his ears. Terry couldn't get enough of hearing you telling him how he made you feel and the pleasure he gave you.
Your eyes rolled in the back of your head when you felt his tongue hit a good sweet spot. "Mmm, you're doing good, baby," He declares so deeply, voice sending shrinks down your spine to your dripping cunt.
Terry dives back in, tongue dipping in and out of your hole at an unforgiving pace. You gripped the sheets, "Yes, just like that." You whisper, feeling yourself get already close.
"Does my good girl need to come?" Terry asked in a whispter, and you nodded, shaking and tense. "I'm so close TerryâŚcan I cum, please?" you whimpered, voice wavering more and more.
"Cum for me, baby," he ordered and you did, crying out his nameâŚshaking from the mindblowing climax. You lay there quietly, trying to get yourself together.
Terry began kissing up your body to your lips, and you moaned tasting the juice of your cum on his tongue. You felt his hand grip your plump waist and wrapping your legs around his waist.
Terry pulled away and smirked, filling you up perfectly; you silently him as he moaned at the feeling of you clenching around him tight.
His forehead leaned against your forehead, pulling out slightly before thrusting back in. The thrusts were slowly and gently, the breathless moans between you, and the music wrapped around you like a warm embrace.
"Shit...baby, you're the best thing that happened to me; you lift me up, love me for who I am, and I'm forever thankful you know that," Terry whispered, kissing your neck.
"Yes, ahhh Terry. I'm so happy I met you on that trip, you give me so I'm thankful for you, too," you whispered, getting emotional as you looked deeply into his beautiful eyes.
Terry wipes your tears away and kisses you for a few minutes before lifting your leg to be on his shoulder to go deeper. "So deep, so fucking deep Terry"
You let out a light moan, placing your hand on the back of your leg to keep it steady as the music drives out the sounds of your skins slapping togather.
"Fuck, I love you baby." Terry moans, leaning his forehead against yours and looking into your eyes deeply, thrusting a little faster, setting a steady rhythm.
"AhâŚTerryâŚ.I love you, I love so fucking much" You moaned softly, feeling your pussy clenching around his dick. Terry kisses you and feels yourself getting ready to orgasm.
"I'm gonna come," You whispered in a moan, pulling away from the kiss. "You're gonna come, huh? Fuck Me too, baby, I'm gonna fill you up, would like that," He whispers in your ear.
"Yes, yes, fill me up with your come, please, Terry, I need it," You said, pulling him into another kiss as he thrust a few times, and you both came together, muffling each other's names.
You felt the streams of his hot cum dropping out of your pussy once he pulled out. "Mmm, that's all me coming out of you" He smirks, glancing down at your pussy proudly.
You and Terry went to take a warm shower together. The steam filled the small bathroom, creating a cozy atmosphere as you washed away the fantastic sex you just had.
Once you finished, you both slipped into soft pajamas, feeling comfortable and relaxed. As you settled into bed, you turned toward him and rested your head gently on his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
Terry wrapped his arms around you, drawing you closer with a tender embrace, his hands softly caressing your arms. At that moment, everything felt right, and you knew nothing could stand in the way of this beautiful love between you both.

Shared thoughts
Summary: After years of friendship you and Ominis still remain blissfully unaware of eachothers feelings. Thats until an unwelcome encounter get's on Ominis's wrong side. Mentions of confrontation, jealousy and his skill of Legilimency.
Pairing: Ominis Gaunt X F!reader
A/n: requests are open :)
The Great Hall was alive with its usual hum of chatter and clinking cutlery. Seventh years hurriedly swapped notes on the upcoming Charms exam, their laughter mingling with the crackling of enchanted torches. Across the Slytherin table, Sebastian Sallow watched his two closest friends with a knowing smirk, his fork abandoned on his plate.
Ominis Gaunt sat poised as always, his fingers resting lightly against the edge of the table. His head tilted slightly toward his longtime friend, MC, who was describingâanimatedly and a little breathlesslyâher latest escapade sneaking into the Restricted Section. Sebastian chuckled to himself as he noticed the way Ominis shifted closer to her, his usually composed expression softening ever so slightly. And then there was MC, who casually brushed her hand against Ominis' sleeve, entirely unaware of how her touch lingered.
âYou two are ridiculous, you know that?â Sebastianâs voice cut through the moment.
Ominis turned his sightless gaze toward Sebastian, his lips curving into a faint frown. âI donât know what youâre on about, Sallow.â
Sebastian raised an eyebrow, but before he could retort, a voice interrupted.
âExcuse me, MC , might I have a word?â
Leander Prewett stood a few feet away, his Gryffindor tie slightly askew and his trademark cocky grin plastered on his face. Sebastian visibly stiffened, while Ominis'fingers curled subtly around the edge of his plate.
You glanced at Ominis before reluctantly nodding. âSure, Leander. What is it?â
Leander wasted no time. âIâve been meaning to askâyou and I, how about we go to Hogsmeade this weekend? Just the two of us. Iâll buy you a Butterbeer. Maybe a chocolate frog if youâre lucky.â
Ominis' grip on the table tightened, his jaw clenching.
âLeander, I donât thinkââ you began, but he cut you off.
âOh, come on. Iâve seen you around. Youâre clever, funny, andâwell, letâs just say youâre easy on the eyes. I have been dying to feel the warmth of the Hero of Hogwarts all to myself. You would like it! What do you say?â
The discomfort rippled through you. Your stomach churned, your mind screaming, Go away. Please, just leave me alone.
Ominis shifted in his seat, sensing your unease. He had long trained himself to tune out the cacophony of thoughts that his rare gift, Legilimency, could bring. But now, feeling the weight of your silence, he focused. With a single deliberate pull, your thoughts poured into his mind.
âWhy wonât he stop? This is mortifying. I donât want himâI donât even like him. He makes me greatly uncomfortable. Why canât he ever take no for an answer?â
Ominis' blood boiled. The protective urge surging within him overpowered his restraint. He rose to his feet, his usually measured voice laced with ice. âPrewett, sheâs not interested. Step away.â
Leander scoffed, his grin faltering. âI wasnât talking to you, Gaunt. Maybe let her speak for herself.â
âShe already has. You just donât listen.â
Leanderâs face twisted in annoyance. âAnd whatâs it to you, anyway?â
âItâs everything to me,â Ominis snapped, stepping closer. His usually calm demeanor cracked, the frustration and protectiveness spilling out.
Leanderâs arrogance flared. âOh, I see how it is. Guess the rumors about you two are true. Well, maybe she should find someone with a little moreââ
Before he could finish, Ominis; wand was in his hand, and Leanderâs was out just as quickly. Spells flew, sparks illuminating the hall as students scrambled to clear a path. his calculated precision clashed against Leanderâs reckless force. Leander feeling he would lose against the Gaunt boy, he decided to play dirty and and do what Ominis would never expect coming to him.
A fist collided with his face. Busting Ominis' lip.
The room gasped. he staggered back, blood trickling from his lip. But he didnât falter. With a flick of his wand, Leanderâs flew out of his hand, clattering to the floor.
âEnough!â Professor Sharpâs voice cut through the chaos. He stepped between them, his glare sharp enough to pierce steel. âBoth of youâmy office. Now.â
Later that evening, you dragged Ominis into the Room of Requirement, your hands gripping his arm as he dabbed at his split lip with a handkerchief.
âYou didnât have to do that, you know,â you muttered, guiding him to sit on a plush sofa conjured by the roomâs magic.
Ominous tilted his head toward you. âHe deserved it. You looked miserable, and he didnât stop.â
You sighed, dabbing at his lip with a damp cloth. âStill. Now youâre hurt.â
He gave a soft chuckle, the sound rumbling low in his chest. âItâs just a scratch. Iâve had worse.â
But as your hands lingered on his face, brushing against his jaw, your thoughts betrayed you. Without meaning to, he slipped into your mind again.
âHe looks so good like this. Even with the bloodâno, because of it. Merlin, whatâs wrong with me? I love him too much''
Ominous jerked back, his cheeks flushed. âIâI shouldnât have done that. I didnât mean toââ
You frowned. âWhat are you talking about?â
He hesitated, his voice barely a whisper. âI read your thoughts.â
Your eyes widened. âYou⌠what?â
âIâm sorry,â he blurted. âIâve never done it before. Not to you. But I couldnât help it, and thenââ
You stared at him, processing his words. Then, slowly, a smile tugged at your lips. âOminis⌠I donât mind. If anything, Iâm glad you know.â
He froze. âYou are?â
You nodded, your voice soft. âYouâve always been there for me. Youâve always protected me. And⌠I think Iâve loved you for it. For a long time.â
Ominis breath hitched. âYou have?â
You leaned closer, your hand brushing his. âYes. And if Iâm not mistaken⌠you feel the same.â
He didnât respond with words. Instead, he closed the distance, his lips capturing yours in a kiss that was soft yet desperate, as if heâd been waiting years for this moment.
When you finally pulled away, his forehead rested against yours. âIâll never read your thoughts again,â he promised. âBut for what itâs worth⌠they were beautiful.â
Your cheeks burned, but you couldnât help but laugh. Knowing he felt the same.
You pulled him back into another kiss, your hands tangling in his hair, and for the first time, both of you stopped thinking.

tags: sfw, fluff, age regression, daddy!nat, he/him nat, shy baby reader, soooo many aunties and uncle van :33
"you ready to meet daddy's friends?" nat smiled slightly, unbuckling your seatbelt. it was a pretty long drive to camp green pine from wiskayok, so you took a quick nap on the way there. nat snickered, watching you rub your sleepy little eyes.
"aww, you tired?" he pulled your paci out of your mouth and you yawned. the sun was setting fast, making nat happy that he wouldn't have to drive in the dark woods. he grabbed your diaper bag and picked you up, putting you on his hip. you gripped onto the collar of his leather jacket, resting your head on his shoulder.
he talked to you sweetly as he walked up the dirt trail to the camp, and you just tried not to fall asleep again. he could see lottie's kaftan flowing in the cold night air, checking on her bees for the last time today.
"hey, lot." he said nonchalantly, lottie looking up and seeing you being held by nat. "well, hello there!" lottie smiled when she saw you. she's the only one that you've met out of nat's highschool friends and you grew super close to her. and she loves seeing you when you're little.
âhi, sweetie. you look so adorable. yes you do, your dads dressed you up so nicely.â lottie babied, making you blush.
"everyone gone to bed?" nat asked. "yeah, but tai, van, shauna, and misty are waiting for you in the main room. complaining about how you're always late." lottie smiled. "ahh, geez. okay, you coming?"
"in just a little bit." lottie nodded, walking over to a shed, leaving you and nat alone and the middle of the grassy field. you wriggled in his arms and whined. "you want down?" nat put you down so you could walk, but he still made you hold his hand. "c'mon, baby."

nat entered the main room, hearing his friends talk over each other and laughing. he saw how shy you were and smiled softly, ruffling your hair. "it's alright. they're gonna be really nice to you, baby."
"hey guys," nat greeted. you saw all of natâs friends in a circle, sitting on pillows. you stuck close to nat, your shyness getting the best of you. the four adults greeted themselves, smiling at how close you wanted to be to nat.
nat sat down, putting you in his lap and putting your diaper bag down next to him. âwhoâs this?â shauna smiled, putting her drink down. you could tell they knew about your regression because they were so sweet about it.
âyou wanna say hi, baby?â your daddy encouraged, but you just whined, hiding in his shoulder. âawww, you shy?â he bounced you. â..paci.â you whined, making nat pull it out of his pocket. âdadaâs got it right here, shhh.â he pushed it your mouth, feeling you relax in his arms.
the adults couldnât help but stare at the sweet moment you and nat were sharing. they never really see nat so soft and maternal, and they wanted to soak it all up.
lottie came in later on and turned on some music, but kept it soft. while nat was having a side conversation with misty and lottie, you made eye contact with taissa and van, who were trying to make you laugh by playing peek a boo. nat heard you giggle softly, and saw the two adults up to their silly antics. âis that funny, huh?â
your shyness faded away more and more while interacting with all of natâs friends, misty not even hesitating to call herself âaunt misty.â
âi think itâs time to get you to bed, little baby? you falling asleep on dada?â you whined at his tone because you didnât want him to be right, you wanted to stay up!!!!
âno sleepyâŚâ
âoh yeah? your eyes are about to close, buddy. câmon.â nat held his arms out to pick you up, but you whimpered, nat seeing the fears forming in your eyes. you hated having fomo, especially when you were tiny. âdonât cryyy,,, câmere, buddy. shh shh. come to dada..â nat picked you up, putting you on his hip.
âweâll all be here tomorrow, kiddo.â van told you, which made you feel a little bit better. you said âniniâ to everyone, and they responded back the same. you and nat walked to the empty cabins, the dirt trail lit up by the cozy light posts. âyou like dadaâs friends, donât you? are they silly?â
you nodded, smiling behind your paci. you couldnât wait to sleep so you could wake up and play again.

Some more thoughts, because I can't get this thing out of my head.
Ekko should meet Viktor in this AU world. Viktor has been thematically linked to time since S1 - always racing against time, in conflict with Jayce's hesitancy around safety and Heimerdinger's complacency with slow progress. This spurs a lot of the actions that lead to Viktor's downfall - so how would AU Viktor be different and what should Ekko learn from it?
I would have Viktor, like Jayce, in Zaun using his skills to help people. If this is the 'good' timeline, have Viktor using his mobility aids openly and not be afraid of public appearance - maybe give him a respirator-based mobility aid that helps with his breathing for his illness, but also distorts his voice, creating an alternative take on the Machine Herald. His illness isn't cured (as a disabled person myself, the 'magical cure to disability' trope needs to die a death) but he isn't ashamed of it. Maybe this is the point where he could give Ekko the advice about using and enjoying the time you have, and about not fearing the loss of time. It would also give Ekko's role in the end fight more weight if he had actually interacted with Viktor at some point.
And make the building of Ekko's time/ dimension machine a group effort. Rather than just Ekko, Powder and Heimerdinger working in secret, have Powder rope in the Firelights and half the Zaun community. Show that in this world, its normal for people to help out and share resources, that people believe in Ekko's ideas and actively want to help him. That he doesn't have to do things alone, and the strength that can be found in solidarity. Powder can still be at the forefront of that, and they could still have romantic moments. And you could link that back into episode 9 - instead of the Zaunites just appearing in the battle, have Ekko use what he learned in the AU to rally the different groups together and believe that there is a better Zaun to fight for. And instead of mourning Jinx alone, have him mourn with his Firelights, or others from Zaun - tie Ekko back into the backbone of Zaun's hopeful future.
Maybe even have it that the AU versions of characters work out that Ekko is from another timeline and help him anyway. Because the distrust and backstabbing that Ekko is used to isn't there. Because any version of Ekko and Zaun is worth helping. You could have so heartbreaking moments still, with characters like Benzo or Vander suggesting things for their counterparts without knowing they are dead. You could have funny moments too. Just - honest help would do Ekko wonders.
The 'Vi-dies' reality is really bugging me, especially with the explanation that Piltover and Zaun 'made peace' because a child died and that pushed people toward change. Because we've seen - both in Arcane and our own world - that children dying doesn't inspire change. Especially if they're the 'wrong' type of child.
Milo and Clagger's deaths didn't inspire change. The death of the Chembaron's son only inspired a temporary discomfort in Jayce before he started making weapons to be used against Zaun again. The other children in the Shimmer factory are never considered again. And in our own world, the body of a dead child washed up on a French beach hasn't changed the cruelty european countries show refugees in boat crossings. Children holding a conference in Gaza begging not to be killed hasn't stopped the bombings.
At best, a few people in Piltover might feel uncomfortable; Councillor Kiramman, as Jayce's sponsor, might pledge to fund a children's program in Zaun. But for the most part it would be put down to 'unfortunate', or blame would be placed on the kids for breaking in in the first place.
And the idea that without Hextech, the political disparity would disappear is wild. Hextech exacerbated the class divide, but it definitely wasn't the cause of it. Or its absense the solution.

FALLING FOR YOU ŕ¨ŕ§ - SIM JAEYUN
PAIRING: idol!Jake x Idol!reader
SYNOPSIS: you and Jake secretly have a thing for each other when you guys are idols and have a secret relationship
GENRE: fluff, romance
AUTHORS NOTE: this was highly requested by a generous user!
Jake had always known that being an idol would come with its fair share of challengesâlate nights, early mornings, grueling schedules, and fans who loved him unconditionally. But there was one thing he hadnât expected when he first entered this world: to meet someone who didnât seem to care about any of that.
It happened on the set of a variety show. Jake, along with his group, had been invited to participate in a cooking challenge against another group of idols, and Y/N was the one chosen to co-host and judge. She had been in the industry for a while, but not in the same group as Jake. He had seen her on TV, admired her work, but he never imagined their paths would cross in such a casual way.
The cameras rolled, and the challenge began. Jake, known for being a bit of a perfectionist, was focused on the task at hand, but there was something about the way Y/N smiled and teased the contestants that caught his attention. She was sharp, quick-witted, and radiated a warm, approachable energy that made everyone around her relax. Jake noticed, too, that she didnât treat him like a star. While others hesitated or were overly polite, she was relaxed with himâlike they were just two people doing their jobs.
During the break between filming, they ended up sitting next to each other. Y/N turned to him with a grin.
âYou know, Iâm actually kind of impressed by your cooking skills. I thought idols couldnât cook.â
Jake laughed, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. âI may not be a chef, but I can follow a recipe. Plus, Iâve been living on takeout too long. I had to learn something.â
Y/Nâs eyes twinkled with amusement. âI totally get it. If I didnât learn how to cook, Iâd be living on ramen forever.â
As the conversation flowed easily, Jake realized just how down-to-earth she was. She didnât talk about her fame or her achievements. Instead, she asked about his hobbies, his favorite food, and even complained about the exhaustion of being in the industry. It was refreshing. She wasnât fawning over him, or putting him on a pedestalâshe just treated him like a regular person, which, for Jake, felt rare.
When filming wrapped up, they exchanged numbers to keep in touch for future shows. Jake didnât think much of it at the timeâhe figured it was just part of the job. But over the next few weeks, he found himself looking forward to her messages.
Their texts started off smallâsimple messages about scheduling, a funny meme here and there, or asking each other for advice about their upcoming performances. But something shifted as the days went on. They began to open up more. Y/N shared her worries about the pressures of being an idolâhow fansâ expectations sometimes felt suffocating. Jake, in turn, confessed his own struggles with the constant demand to be perfect, to always smile, to always give his best even when he was running on empty.
It was during one of these late-night conversations that Jake found himself looking at his phone, fingers hovering over the keyboard, uncertain of what to say. He had never been the type to wear his heart on his sleeve, but there was something about Y/N that made him want to.
He typed, then deleted, then typed again.
Jake: "I know weâve only known each other a little while, but... I feel like I can actually be myself around you. And Iâve been thinking about you a lot lately."
Y/Nâs response came just a few moments later.
Y/N: "Jake, I feel the same way. Iâve never really had a chance to connect with anyone like this in the industry. Itâs... kind of nice."
Jake felt a weight lift off his chest. For the first time in a long while, he felt like he was talking to someone who wasnât interested in his status as an idol but in himâthe person behind the image.
It wasnât long before they started meeting up in person. Sometimes it was after a late-night show or a photoshoot, where theyâd steal a few quiet moments for themselves. They didnât have to go to fancy restaurants or glamorous locations. It was the small things that matteredâgrabbing bubble tea together, walking around the park after a long day, or just sitting in a cafe and talking about everything and nothing at all.
One evening, after a particularly exhausting day of filming, Jake texted her again.
Jake: "Hey, I donât know about you, but Iâm about ready to collapse. Want to meet up for a quick bite? Somewhere quiet?"
Y/N read the message and smiled, already feeling the same fatigue, but also the familiar pull of wanting to see him again. There was something comforting about being with Jakeâsomething that allowed her to forget about the bright lights and the pressure for just a little while.
Y/N: "Sounds perfect. Meet you at the usual place?"
They met at a small, out-of-the-way restaurant, a little hole-in-the-wall that had become their spot. It was the kind of place where no one cared who they were or what they did for a living. No flashing cameras, no eager fans. Just food, laughter, and quiet moments together.
As they sat down, Jake looked at her across the table, watching the way she pushed her hair behind her ear, a habit she had when she was nervous or thinking.
âIâve been meaning to tell you something,â he said, his voice softer than usual. âLately, Iâve realized I look forward to our conversations more than anything. Itâs... itâs strange, but it feels different with you. Like I can finally relax.â
Y/N felt her heart flutter, her chest tightening with an unfamiliar warmth. She had thought about Jake a lot tooâabout how easy it was to talk to him, how much she enjoyed his presence, and how it felt like they were falling into something that was beyond just friendship.
âJake,â she started, her voice a little more nervous than she intended, âI feel the same way. Youâre... different from everyone else Iâve met. I feel like I can just be myself.â
There was a long pause, and Jakeâs gaze softened. Then, almost as if he had been holding his breath, he leaned in slightly.
âY/N, I like you. Iâve been thinking about it for a while now, and Iâ"
Before he could finish, Y/N reached across the table, placing her hand on his.
âI like you too,â she said, her smile genuine and a little shy. âIâve been trying to figure out when the right moment would be to say it, but I guess... nowâs as good a time as any.â
Jake laughed softly, the tension in his body releasing. He didnât need to say anything moreâhe could see it in her eyes. They had both been tiptoeing around something that had always been there, and now, it felt like they had finally crossed that invisible line.
From that night forward, their relationship deepened. They still had their moments of uncertaintyâmoments when the pressure of being public figures weighed heavily on them. But through it all, they kept finding ways to support each other, even when the world seemed too loud or too demanding.
They continued to meet in secret, sharing quiet moments in the midst of their busy lives. Sometimes they would slip away for a quick coffee, other times they would sit in the park at night, talking about their hopes for the future, about what they wanted for themselves and each other.
One afternoon, after a particularly grueling practice, Y/N found herself waiting for Jake outside the practice room. When he stepped out, exhausted but smiling, she couldnât help but laugh.
âAre you always this tired?â she teased.
Jake grinned, his eyes bright despite the exhaustion. âPretty much. But itâs worth it when I get to see you.â
Y/N smiled, feeling her heart flutter once again. It was in moments like these that she realized how much they had changed each otherânot as idols, but as people. Jake wasnât just the idol she had admired from afar; he was someone she could trust, someone who understood the difficulties of their world and who was willing to take the time to show her that there was more to life than just the spotlight.
And as for Jake, he had never imagined that something so simple, so pure, could grow out of the chaos of their shared world. But with Y/N by his side, he began to believe that maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for love to bloom amid the flashing cameras and the noise.
Their love wasnât something they shouted from rooftops or shared on social mediaâit was something they kept close, something between the two of them. But in their hearts, it was more than enough.
Together, they learned that sometimes the most unexpected connections are the ones that last the longest.

The Water 7 Fight: An Analysis
So. Water 7. Thereâs a lot to be said about the Usopp vs Luffy fight, their motivations, and the right vs wrong of it allâŚitâs a complex situation, and so I wanted to share some thoughts:
The Set Up
The growing tension and activity that led to the fight between Luffy and Usopp is so so well explored in the scenes right before it happened. Of course, events are kicked off by Usoppâs abduction by the Franky Family, and his subsequent beating and losing the money. This, on top of the many many clues sprinkled throughout the early bits of the arc and earlier arcs regarding his own feelings of inadequacy as well as his connection to the Merry, is the straw that breaks the camelâs back for Usopp in my opinion. This was one of his deepest fears, finally realized: he felt that he had finally crossed the line into more than just useless but an active liability to the crew. He admits as much to Nami when he sees her: heâs ashamed more than anything else. He canât face the others.
Namiâs reaction in this moment is also really interesting. She sees Usopp at possibly one of his most vulnerable moments ever, and she reacts so kindly: she tells him itâs not his fault, that itâs going to be okay, that sheâll get him some help. Itâs such a mature and responsible response and out of everyone here I think she reacted most rationally to this whole situation. I think if she had been a little more confident she couldâve engaged in some really good conflict resolution practices with everyone.
At the same time, everyone slowly gets the bad news about the Merry, and their differing reactions are interesting: theyâre all upset, and openly discuss that. Sanji even notes that Usopp is going to be particularly upset to hear this, so theyâre all already aware that this is going to be quite bad. Whatâs interesting, though, is Luffyâs reaction: he goes through a similar emotional journey that Usopp does when getting the news, but their ultimate destination is what differs greatly here. I think the difference here is probably down to two factors: 1. Luffy does not have the same particular insecurities that Usopp does and 2. Luffy is the ultimate authority in the decisions here, Usopp is not.
Then, Usopp picks himself back up, badly wounded, to return to the Franky family to try to get the money back. This is a big moment too, because it showcases that he is the type of person to fight even when he knows he isnât going to win, which is what ends up happening here. Even the moment where he burst in really felt paralleled to the moment he stares down Luffy in a fight later: itâs a really good set up.
And then he gets injured even more, and chopper has to check if heâs even alive when they find him, which is important to note because his physical condition is just dire right now.
I found the reactions of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper interesting too because they get super angry, obviously, partly because of the money but more because of how Usopp is hurt. In one sense itâs funny that they just left him there while they took revenge for him, but on another itâs a little tragic because that wasnât what he needed in that moment. I donât think he ever finds out about it either if my memory served me correctly. Thereâs another layer of irony in the way they all leap to fight to save their crewmate but weâll get to that later.
I also think itâs notable that Luffy locks in his decision to get a new ship here, right after they destroy the Franky familyâs hideout. I think he felt a sense of responsibility for what happened, maybe believing that if heâd been more decisive in his leadership, then Usopp wouldnât have been this badly hurt. Which is also just oof. Extremely ironic.
So they take Usopp back and it takes him a while to even wake up, and when he does heâs all apologies. The physical framing of it is interesting too, because heâs on his knees and hugging Zoroâs legs and stuff. Heâs not outwardly expressing his shame like he did with Nami earlier but itâs close. Heâs not really standing up at all.
And everything seems to be going ok, and Usopp is asking about next steps and thenâŚand then Luffy drops the bomb. And that changes everything.
The Confrontation
Usopp starts the whole argument in full denial. Itâs a pretty classic gamut of emotions here: he goes full tilt into the cycles of grief, starting with just straight up denying that Luffy would do this, to bargaining by asking if he was at fault in this situation and trying to convince the others to let him continue fixing the ship. Heâs clearly feeling a lot of guilt here: he believes he is directly responsible for the Merryâs âdeathâ as it were and is scrambling trying to take responsibility for fixing her. I think everyone else was taken aback by the level that this guilt went and were wholly unprepared to deal with it. Luffy yelling that he isnât a carpenter I think was him trying to talk him down but ultimately had the exact opposite effect: all Usopp heard was he had no expertise in this and was useless, and may have even harmed Merry further or out her in this situation to begin with.
This snaps Usopp into the anger stage, and this is where it really starts to get ugly. Itâs notable to me that heâs the one that escalated by grabbing at Luffyâs shirt and yelling at him that he excepted better, which were intended to hurt I think. Luffy though gives as good as he gets, and is the one that actually turns the confrontation violent: knocking a grave injured Usopp down. In short: he doesnât descalate or calm the situation, but instead adds to it. The way his temper is so hair trigger in this scene is extremely interesting to me.
Nobody else intervenes either (at least not yet). All of them try on occasion to tell them to calm down or stop fighting but not more than that. Not even Zoro steps in at this stage, which I found super interesting. Nami tries to tell Usopp at one point that Luffy had a similar emotional reaction ti him about this choice, but Luffy stops her. Funnily enough I think if he hadnât she may have been able to calm things down a bit here.
Itâs not until Luffy is right about to tell Usopp to leave, itâs practically already left his mouth, that someone actually steps in here. And itâs SANJI. Sanji, who knows very well how it feels to be told you donât belong somewhere anymore. Sanji physically knocks Luffy back and he does it with FORCE, and itâs him who desperately tries to wrangle some control back of the situation. And the thing is: it almost works! Everyone listens to him, nobody objects to his methods, and Luffy actually starts to reign himself back and apologizes!
But itâs a bell that canât be unrung at this point. Usopp has heard what he heard and has made his decision. Whatâs interesting here though, and what I realized upon rereading it, was how self aware Usopp was at this stage about the whole thing? Like he was fully aware that he was substituting himself in for the Merry and straight up tells the crew that he thinks heâs useless and that they should get rid of him in the same way that the did the ship. LikeâŚheâs not subtle at ALL about this, and about the reasons why heâs behaving the way he does. He knows exactly why! And he tells them! I honestly credit him for that in a wayâŚheâs spiraling here but heâs aware of it, and heâs aware of exactly what heâs feeling and why. The way this fight is remembered and discussed in fandom I feel is heâs characterized as throwing a tantrum about it but this really isnât what happened here at all.
Nobody really pulls him back on his statements: I think they were too shocked here to really know what to do. Chopper is falling apart emotionally, Nami is trying to get him to hang back and wait, Sanji even starts yelling at Usopp to come back. ZoroâŚZoro says nothing, which interested me a lot too. He does however have a flashback to him being the one to invite Usopp on board, which I have a LOT of thoughts about. From Alabasta, Zoro has been privy to a lot of Usopp moments that were important turning points for him: carrying dalton up the mountain, expressing doubt after long ring long land, etc. I think heâs thinking of those things here too. I think heâs feeling a sense of responsibility here that he doesnât know what to do with.
Luffy says nothing too. He looks angry, which I think is a cover for upset, but his silence is fascinating. Heâs letting things play out here because I think heâs still in fight mode but also because I think heâs letting Usopp make his own choices here, as he should. I think heâs trying to be captainlike here. ButâŚalso not quite. Heâs spiraling just as bad as Usopp here, imho.
And then, Usopp issues his duel request. Thereâs a few interesting bits in between where Nami is trying convince Luffy to not go through with it, but heâs very dedicated to doing so anyway. Sheâs telling LUFFY to apologize which is interesting thinking of the fandom recollection of this fight. Sheâs trying conflict resolution here but itâs a bit too late for that.
I also like that Sanji and Zoro are fighting about this too, blaming each other for what happened. I think itâs a form of tension release for the two of them, and Nami stopping them shows itâs still a bit of a sensitive time for it anyway. Which leads to:
The Fight
This fight is one of my favorites in OP, insofar as actual fighting techniques/approaches go. Itâs unique to the series and so emotional and just hits different. Luffyâs later fight against Sanji hits similar notes but this one stands out specifically because itâs Usopp, who is very much not a fighter in the same way Sanji is.
For one, Usoppâs a ranged fighter, and heâs fighting Luffy at close quarters. Heâs already at a MASSIVE disadvantage and he knows this, Luffy knows this, the straw hats know this. Itâs his fight to lose, and he picks it anyway. And I think this is whatâs so key to this entire conflict, from start to finish: Usopp KNEW he was going to lose. He knew it from the start. He knew Merry was doomed. He knew that from the start too. But he did all of that anyway. Why? I think the why is so incredibly nuanced, from loyalty to pride to fear of rejection to abandonment issues. But it also highlights his tendency to bullheadedly get things done if he thinks heâs the only one left who hasnât given up on something. And I think thatâs so important to him as a character, and itâs this realization and this specific fight that made Usopp into my favorite character. Itâs also why I donât think thereâs a black and white wrong and right side to this conflict. From one end, Luffyâs the boss so they need to follow his instructions without question. From another, I like it better when Luffyâs challenged by his crew for both story and character purposes for all involved. I think Luffy needed this to happen, not because he needed to assert his authority as captain, but because he needed to fuck up as a leader and learn from that.
For another, Usopp is also on the brink of collapse this entire time. The fight ends when Luffy gets a single hit in, which means Usopp was on his last legs and he still went through with it. That is super admirable to me and a testament to his super tanking abilities and determination when it counts. He had the deck stacked against him here and he still went for it.
Now: fight techniques. Usopp took this fight seriously, like for real seriously. He pulled every weapon out of his arsenal and went for it, from lying to caltrops to dials and actual honest to god explosions. It was interesting to see the crew be so surprised at him doing so well at the start. He even uses Luffyâs care for his injuries against him which was a notable part of it for me. The impact dial bit is one of my favorites: itâs such a powerful moment to me.
And then he loses, and is probably actively dying as a result lol. Everyoneâs absolute devastation, expressed in different ways, was really fascinating to watch. Chopper just trying to run over and fix things and Nami unable to watch hit hard. Zoro being super composed on the outside and holding Luffy together butâŚyeah heâs not pleased about this. Sanji telling chopper not to go because Usopp doesnât need pity. Luffy cryingâŚwhich always is very emotional. Them giving Usopp the ship and moving on to demonstrate that they took all his words seriously but also to acknowledge his dedication to the Merry. Ooof.
Anyway this arc physically hurts. 10/10 experience. Destroys me every time.

Iâm also gonna propose the OTHER side of the coin.
Mom!Tippi
Wouldnât it be so tragic if Timpani had been that much closer to Bleck this entire time? If potentially Luigi were to meet and befriend her, neither having the slightest clue who the other is, prior to the events of SPM? And by the time they do all realize who everyone is and fully reunite, they only have like 5mins max to cherish it before two of them have to sacrifice their lives to save the third :)
Then on the other hand itâs also lowkey kinda hilarious?
Tippi is just kinda going through the motions with the prophecy. No memories and very little sense of self, sheâs putting all her focus on the Pure Hearts and stopping the Void. Very⌠clinical-like. And gradually she starts to open up more to Mario & Co, grows a bit more lively and starts remembering things.
Like her lost love.
So imagine her surprise as things are starting to click and sheâs piecing things together, and for the latest piece to the puzzle, thereâs her exchange with Bleck when the groupâs confronted by the Count in Sammerâs Kingdom. And then he not only mentions the name âTimpaniâ, which is very familiar for some reason, but also mentions a son.
There are many questions once sheâs got her full memories back. At least she thinks so, but she certainly doesnât remember having a child with Blumiere before they were torn apart and she was cursed to wander dimensions forever! Who IS this child? Where did he come from? What does this mean? Does this make her a mom? Will the child want her as a mom? Can she be a good mom? This was way less terrifying and complicated when it was just saving all reality from violent oblivion!
At first she thinks itâs Mr. L based off observations from the heroesâ fights against him. But then surprise! Itâs actually Luigi! The sweetheart boy sheâs known and befriended a few years prior to the adventure⌠how they were this close to have preventing it altogether had they figured it out sooner.
Picture the final thing that confirms for them both without a doubt their shared connections to Blumiere with the MOTI song thatâs the duet to the Memory/Bounding Through Time track. A cherished melody between the lovers when they were together, that was also used as a lullaby for Luigi as a kid when he had nightmares.
Btw Luigi and Tippi being amnesia buddies throughout Ch7 Underwhere and Overthere segment is super cute. Criminal that this wasnât capitalized on in the game either, like câmon! Amnesia Buddies! Just supporting each other and helping the other get through the more intense flashbacks when they hit in addition to quest/adventure stuff.
Makes Luvbiâs teasing comments hinting that Tippiâs got a crush on Mario, Luigi or both a lot more awkward, tho.
That awkward moment when you accidentally call your mom friend âmomâ out loud to their face, but it later turns out she was your actual mom the whole time.
Itâs hard to hug on account of Tippi being a butterfly Pixl, but she carries the intent when she sits on Luigiâs nose and stretches her wings out across his face as best she can.
âŚI have far too much to say on potential relationships between characters that barely interact canonically.
AW YES... let tippi and luigi bond theyve earned it
i think the funny thing about that, too, is that even though tippi and luigi don't get much together, tippi does have some VERY strong opinions on mr. l (calling him greasy, saying he's weak, and her tattle on him specifically says he has 'no other outstanding features of note') so if she thinks mr. l is bleck's son (instead of luigi) i'm sure her first reaction would be... Interesting... LMAO
