ooo my favs? okay lemme see:

i think sirius is so fucking loud and fun and adventurous in every situation but when he's alone with remus in their flat he gets so soft and quiet and sleepy

they're very touchy but not in the making out every second its more like their fingers are always touching and they're shoulder to shoulder or remus has an arm around sirius' waist at all times

sirius really helped remus with his confidence and self respect

remus encourages sirius to go wild at the club because he loves watching him have fun but the moment someone tries to hit on sirius or dance with him he's running behind remus like 'get him boy' and remus goes into guard dog mode

their favourite cocktails are sex on the beach (sirius) and a negroni (remus)

their dream is to live in cottage in the country and own some chickens

sirius is a gamer, he loves playing online with james until the early hours of the morning and sometimes remus—who has insomnia 100%—wanders out into the living room to get a glass of water and sees sirius curled up in his gamer chair with a blanket around him and he's grumbling to himself at the screen

sirius paints remus nails for him every week with a new colour so they match

remus braids sirius hair for him when its wet so it dries curly

they always shower together but its never sexual, its literally just for the intimacy (plus sirius loves remus' hands in his hair)

remus is very insecure, he just doesn't think he's attractive and even though he has no doubt about sirius' love for him he doesn't love himself a lot and sirius always gives him confidence boosts and if he's having a really shit day he'll pamper him like crazy and help him write affirmations to put on the mirror

speaking of, sirius writes remus little notes that he leaves around the flat and in his bag and in his sock drawer to make him smile

nsfw ahead: their sex is usually slow and drawn out because they don't want it to end, but they get competitive sometimes. remus has a little goal of how many times he can make sirius cum in one session and he always wants to beat it

regulus and remus play dnd together every thursday night with barty, dorcas, marlene and lily (dorcas is the dm)

they're both massive nerds okay

they drag everyone to comic con multiple times a year and freak out over the authors they see and buy too many pop figures

I was seeing the art for the TMNWN after reading the fic and know I'm just wondering how many turtle instincts did the boys have when they were little lol

I'm just imagining Mikey trying to bury himself on the ground at the beggining of winter and driving his dad crazy with it and Raph trying to bite stuff he shouldn't with his very human moith that absolutely should not be biting anything.

A LOT.

It wasn't horrid, but they definitely did have turtle instincts (still do) that would rear their heads from time to time. There have been several 'digging' fiascos (looks at the "getting in trouble for trying to tunnel under their school" line in ch 17) and Donnie and Raph in particular had quite the biting habit when they were still little (looks at ch 4) and still both spend quite a lot of time chewing on things as a stim. All of them had a habit of trying to bite/eat things that WERE NOT FOOD, especially Mikey. Also took them a hot second to learn "you do not have a hard shell you can retract into and hide inside of to hide or avoid impact," which was. You know. A lesson... Might have resulted in at least one ER visit (they were fine.) Dad learned that he had to be very careful going out with Mikey in particular because if he's not paying very close attention and Mikey decides he's done with whatever they're doing, he will just fully wander away and attempt to walk home by himself.

Raph, Donnie, and Leo, blissfully laying in puddles on a rainy day: Their Dad: okay i love u all and im so glad ur enjoying yourselves but youre in the middle of the sidewalk in nyc and also people think youre dead or something plz get up you can do this when we get back home i swear--

If you were a character in Rise, what would you be? human or yokai? with powers? hero, civilian, or villain? where would you live? would you go to Run of the Mill Pizza? :D

I definitely think being a mutant would be fun! Though I would have to make myself a mutated animal, not a mutated human, otherwise I will give them my childhood trauma XD

Honestly just to be a friend to the turtles would be pretty cool! Also, if I don't give my character my childhood trauma, they also don't need my health problems! So yes I would have my character go to Run of the Mill Pizza. Though I don't know if I would eat the crazy pizzas XD

As for what animal I would have mutated from, well some of my lovely followers gave me ideas for a fursona, being a capybara, a chickadee, or a salmon in a suit <3, so those are all ideas I would consider! (Thank you for those by the way!)

Though foxes are my favorite animal, so it would be hard to say no to that as well! Some day I'll make a Rise oc! I'm not sure if I would give myself powers, I don't know what to pick! I do like teleportation (Nightcrawler is my favorite X-Men after all). But I would definitely be a good guy, maybe not a hero but helping out the turtles from time to time would be nice!

Danke für den Prompt! Auf 7 habe ich verzichtet (ngl ist mir ein bisschen zu kitschig 🙈😄), aber dafür habe ich mal die Klassentreffen-Idee aufgegriffen! (Vielleicht mache ich da irgendwann noch mal ne richtige fic draus, aber für den Anfang muss es das hier tun 😄)

Dreimal war Cotta jetzt schon an dem kleinen Schreibraum vorbei gegangen, in dem Goodween saß und leise vor sich hin fluchend immer noch an einem Bericht über eine Festnahme tippte, obwohl seine Schicht schon seit einer guten Stunde zuende war.

Beim vierten Mal sah er, wie Goodween gerade den Rechner herunter fuhr.

Jetzt oder nie.

Also holte er tief Luft und betrat den Raum.

„Ich hab nen Anschlag auf dich vor“, brachte er heraus.

Goodween grüßte ihn mit einem müden Lächeln. „Solange es nicht mit der Festnahme zu tun hat oder ein Drei Fragezeichen-Einsatz ist, immer heraus damit.“

Das führte zumindest dazu, dass Cottas Mundwinkel ebenfalls zuckten.

Er verfluchte sich, dass ihn diese Sache so nervös machte, aber er war noch nie gut darin gewesen, Schwäche einzugestehen. Aber wenn er jemanden gegenüber so etwas zugeben konnte, dann war es Goodween, sagte er sich.

Erneutes Durchatmen. Möglichst lässig winkte er mit dem Brief, den er in der Hand hielt.

„Ich bin nächsten Monat zum Klassentreffen eingeladen“, begann er. Konnte die Frage, was das mit ihm zu tun hatte, quasi auf Goodweens Gesicht sehen. „Und… naja, ich wollte dich fragen...“ Schon begann er, herumzudrucksen. Dabei hatte er sich das alles so gut zurecht gelegt. „Hast du zufällig Lust, mitzukommen und so zu tun, als wären wir ein Paar?“, zwang er heraus. „Es wäre nur für einen Abend und es gibt gratis Essen und Trinken, du brauchst nur ja zu sagen und vielleicht ein paar Mal meine Hand halten“, fügte er schnell hinzu.

Wartete beinahe mit angehaltenem Atem auf Goodweens Reaktion.

Zumindest fing der nicht direkt an zu lachen.

Stattdessen musterte Cotta fast unangenehm aufmerksam.

„Warum gehst du nicht einfach alleine?“, wollte er wissen, nicht ablehnend, eher an Cottas Motiv interessiert, und genau das hatte Cotta befürchtet.

So gelassen, wie es ging, zuckte er mit den Schultern. „Wäre schön, wenigstens eine Person da zu haben, die ich leiden kann.“

Goodween lachte. „Ich bin immer davon ausgegangen, dass du in der High School super beliebt warst.“

Cotta verzog das Gesicht. „Die meisten meiner Freunde waren im Jahrgang über oder unter mir. Ich hatte zwar auch eine Freundin in meiner Klasse, aber ich glaube, das war bloß, weil wir damals die einzigen Nicht-Heteros waren, die es nicht verstecken konnten, und wir haben keinen Kontakt mehr, seit sich herausgestellt hat, dass sie nicht nur republikanisch wählt, sondern auch für die aktiv ist.“

Jetzt war Goodween an der Reihe, das Gesicht zu verziehen. „Ich sehe das Problem“, stimmte er zu. „Aber du bist auch neugierig und deswegen willst du eigentlich schon hingehen?“

Zielsicher hatte Goodween ihn durchschaut.

Ihm blieb nicht viel anderes übrig, als zu nicken. „Also, wie siehts aus, hättest du Lust, vor meinen alten Klassenkameraden, die garantiert alle entweder immer noch als Baseball-Coach an der Schule arbeiten oder irgendeinen hochbezahlten Job haben, mit dem sie angeben wollen, meinen gutaussehenden Lebensgefährten zu spielen?“

Immer noch lag ihm die Nervosität im Magen, doch diesmal ließ Goodween ihn zum Glück nicht länger zappeln.

Stattdessen grinste er. „Okay, warum eigentlich nicht. Solange du das Hotel bezahlst.“

Erleichtert lachte Cotta. „Das geht in Ordnung.“

Damit war es beschlossene Sache.

Und während sie noch ein bisschen über Nichtigkeiten plauderten, sich dann an der Treppe verabschiedeten, wo Goodween nach unten zur Umkleide und Cotta nach oben zurück in sein Büro ging, dachte Cotta, es würde schon alles gut gehen.

Goodween würde sicherlich nicht merken, dass es ihm ein wenig zu leicht fallen würde, seine Hand zu nehmen, ihn als seinen Freund vorzustellen. Dass er die Gelegenheit nutzen würde, wenigstens für einen Abend so zu tun als ob.

Einen Monat darauf stand Cotta im Hotelzimmer, wartete darauf, dass sie losgehen konnten. Als Goodween aus dem Bad kam, in ausgewaschenen, viel zu gut sitzenden Jeans, einem violetten Hemd und fucking Eyeliner und ihm schlagartig die Luft wegblieb, musste er sich der Tatsache stellen, dass er vielleicht einen Fehler gemacht hatte.

Keine Chance, dass er Goodween nicht den ganzen Abend mit viel zu offensichtlichem Verlangen anstarren würde. So ein guter Schauspieler war er nicht.

Vier Stunden später wurden sie von seinem ehemaligen High School-Schwarm – bei dem er wirklich nicht wusste, was er jemals an ihm gefunden hatte – dabei erwischt, wie sie im Klassenzimmer neben der Aula herumknutschten, und Cotta fand, dass es gar nicht besser hätte laufen können.
