“You seem quite full of yourself.” Remarked a blue haired woman, her magenta colored eyes sparked with mischief as she found the weird inverted rocket organization more amusing than anything.

“What makes your organization think you can stop all crime, especially from those who wants to blow up the planet for stupid shit like ‘ultimate beauty’ and the like.”

"Full of myself?" Kyo repeated with a chuckle, "Is that how I come off? How amusing." She took a moment to glance Periwinkle over. The look of mischief in their magenta eyes told Kyo this was not someone to trust with too much information, but a little clarification wouldn't hurt.

"Please, I'm confident, not naive," Kyo continued as she pushed up her glasses. "I know what I do. I know what my organization does. And like as not, both the organization and I are good at what we do. So if I come across as arrogant well... perhaps it's because I am, just a little bit."

Kyo folded her arms across her chest and waved her hand in the air a bit as she spoke. "But I also know our limitations, both in terms of manpower and legality. Stopping all crime is unrealistic. Sort of making some sort of... totalitarian regime disguised as a utopia, society would never be able to fully achieve such a thing. And I'd never take part in such an endeavor given the rights violations that would have to take place to achieve such a thing.

"That aside though, the WHT RCKT program only has jurisdiction in the Kanto region and Sevii Islands. Even this base's location in Tohjo is somewhat toeing the line, but you know," Kyo shrugged, "when have politicians ever been above that. If a criminal organization operates outside our jurisdiction, there's precious little we can do without operating through the proper legal channels. Best we can do in rapid response is just provide aid and support to anyone who flees from those places to the Kanto region, like we've seen in the wake of Team Galactic's rise. The large influx of Sinnohans has told us something is brewing, but we can't really do anything unless the Sinnoh government lets us."

Kyo paused for a moment before looking back at Periwinkle. "I'm sorry, did you say blowing up the planet over 'ultimate beauty'?" Kyo squinted a bit in disbelief. "These fake teams just keep getting weirder by the moment," she mumbled.
