About Me

Caxy Creations, simply put, is my brand. So to really explain who Caxy Creations is, let's cover who I am.

I'm an artist AND a writer, but far more a writer than an artist.

This Blog's Purpose

This blog is going to serve as two things: a compendium of all knowledge relating to Relan, a planet of my own design with its own history, religions, sciences, magics, and more, as well as a collection of stories about the people living on Relan. Some quick things to cover about Relan, for those interested:

I am 100% okay with OCs. If someone likes my world enough to make a character to throw into it, that is, to me, the ultimate compliment.

If you need/want help integrating your OCs into Relan, I am absolutely down to help with all the resources I have on the world.

Don't know if a species exists on Relan? Well, every single animal species on Earth exists on Relan, and every mythical being exists as well in some form or another, there's even a few internet-designed species and some entirely original species of my own design! So have fun with it!

Relan is a fantasy world. Ancient times have high fantasy themes and forms, modern times have modern fantasy themes and forms, and future eras have a distinctly science-fiction feel with a hint of magic to them. As such, my stories will usually have these themes and/or forms!

Just as a heads up, my AO3 profile now matches my name here: TrialByStory. That's the important part, but if you ever wanted to know why it was previously LloydWallace and why my tumblr, mastodon, and now AO3 are trialByStory, read on.

LloydWallace was a high-school era choice made because my username at the time was easily misreadable and I wanted something LRR could actually pronounce when they did subscriber thank-yous on twitch. It was specifically the name of a character in a story I'd been writing based off a forum RP with a close friend**. A bit before I got back into writing with SoC I'd just picked out trialByNarrative as the name of a potential sideproject intended to be video essays about stories and escapism. That plan didn't happen, but I liked the name so I kept using it as I signed up for new things. Except trialByNarrative was too long for some things so I shortened it to trialByStory.

As for why it's changing now? I randomly decided to change the theme for tumblr and the new one has a convenient space to easily had some custom stuff and I decided one of the custom stuffs should be an AO3 link, during the process of which I decided spur of the moment to unify my various still-active accounts under a single moniker.

**The friend from that forum RP very much still uses his character's name, btw. If you're ever in the mood for some EDM jams check out the illustrious Clyde Machine, and if you're into VRChat, he helps organize & promote shows in the VRC club scene and even plays the occasional set himself.

    If you're wondering what the DEAL is with this Spamton, things didn't go exactly as planned for him. He made it out of the Dark World, but he's not exactly any better off. He's still a puppet, he's still absolutely bonkers, and he's got absolutely nowhere to go-- He's kind of like Turbo from WiR, where he jumps from place to place in desperate hope to make SOMETHING STICK and to be A REAL BOY--

Some self-indulgent(?) rambles about how I developed this whole AU-

Originally, the whole role swap idea was random and simple. Swap the Personas with their Users. The whole thing of the original story came... I dunno... A few weeks after I had the concept? And it was just the basics. I used a couple old Rinmaru dressup games to get a baseline concept for the Mirror Trio and their Personas. i had their names. I had the premise.

After that, through RP, I gradually expanded upon them as characters.

At first, Messiah Anima was simply just Messiah. However, I renamed him to how he's named now to help differentiate him.

I wanted to make a fangame but that went nowhere unfortunately due to a lot of things being beyond my scope. But it was through the early days of it that I got the first proper references for everyone. Big shoutout to Jamhardt on Instagram for that.

I also learned a few things in terms of RPG Maker-

It took me many, MANY hours to get Messiah Anima's model done. The model assembly process became much more easier thanks to the help of a lot of helpful people from the VRChat community. This also lead me to improve my own 3D modeling skills, even making some models from scratch!

I have 24 chapters (each of varying length) in the fanfic so far. I want to continue updating but the battery for that is still low. I'll get to it eventually... But I've already got a good start!

And it's so amazing to me how far I've come skill-wise because of this whole thing... How much has evolved over time...

Which is funny because I said at one point that the whole story is like an analogy to the struggles of an artist of any form. There are so many possibilities and what-ifs out there that you are able to bring to life with what you create or with your actions in life. So many ideas to come up with. But, with every step, something will get in your way of that. Something that might make you give up.

Maybe you're not in a sound state of mind to do anything; the emotional distress from whatever may be plaguing you (tragedy, illness, etc) might take away that spark and leave you drained. Maybe it just doesn't feel the same as before. Maybe it all lost its charm....

Maybe you're in a place where you're overworking yourself. Maybe you were put on a pedestal (either of your own will or so suddenly) and want to make sure you please everyone. Maybe you're afraid of what might happen when it all crumbles. Maybe you lose sight of your self along the way. You might be so close to burning out due to all of that pressure...

Maybe you just want to do the right thing but so many factors make it hard to do so. When the bad speaks louder than the good... When manipulations run rampant... When you can be taken out of context so much which can lead to many things of detriment... There's so much that can overwhelm you even when you do want to fight for the sake of what's right or even just to protect those you care for. When will it be too much? Will you just become complacent instead of resistant? Maybe you'll end up keeping everything you stand for to yourself out of fear...

But you can heal. You can grow beyond these uncertainties and doubts. While it all may linger, you learn to deal with them. You may have your bad days but that doesn't mean good days aren't on the horizon. You still have so much more you can give, even if you don't think so. You can still create.

You can still regain that spark.

You can still be vulnerable, find your self, and know your limits.

You can still fight.

And through that healing... Through fighting against the temptation to give up... You can create something wonderful. The road is rough, scary, and long... But that doesn't mean it's impossible to traverse. Not everyone crosses that road the same way of course. Cross it how you feel is best for you.

I think having that theme in place for a story based within an alternate universe of all places speaks volumes to me. What is a fanwork if not a well of creativity? You can take a simple concept but your vision of it can be different from another's. And while it may be a shame that some works out there never get a chance to continue developing, it's still amazing that they got to exist at all despite it... That we still get to enjoy them.

This whole AU has existed for over two years now. I hold everything so dear to my heart due to how much it helped me grow as a person... Even if that growth was mainly in my skillset. I'm glad I get to share it with everyone.

The story isn't over. The blog may portray everything after the plot concludes but that doesn't mean the story isn't being written still. There's a lot to think about... And it's a challenge to portray the boys as they were at the start when I mainly portray them after the end. But, as a writer, it's a challenge I'm willing to take.

I also hope I conveyed my point well.

my friend group does fantasy RP on vrchat, and i recently joined in a server that does similar stuff in vintage story but these are both session based,

i cant imagine the size and more importantly dedication from the comunity that it would take to keep RP in game server alive for years (forums i get since u can just kidna check up on that and add on as u can, but in game u need ppl concurently online to do any sort of rp)

like the vintage story server can feel p dead even when there are like 13 ppl around bcs ppl arent all just standing around talking but they gotta actually play the game

ooc; To fill you in, anonnie, this blog is for a group of roleplayers and is based on a large amount of VRchat LARP sessions, and is based upon that story. If you want to ask my muses more specific questions, you can, but this question is kinda broad and hard for me/them to answer. I can try, however.

In short for the current situation, “-{=“ is Locust, an important character in the RPs because of how close they are to all the other characters. They’re currently possessed by/being turned into a Partygoer, which I think if you’re keeping track of stuff in the blog community you might know about? But honestly, I’m too tired to explain so I’d recommend looking up “Partygoer backrooms” if you don't. It’s a really intricate RP that we moved to Tumblr partially just for the fuck of it cuz it’d be fun yaknow? I might try to get Damien’s whole story/arc out onto like a google doc or something at some point but right now I’ve gone just about 24 hours without sleep so I’m running on caffeine and caffeine only rn so I don’t have much brainpower.

Neon divide being the major vrchat open world improv based rp I've mentioned before. I watched all of s1 (tho only from 1 perspective out of the ~60 avaliable) and missed all of s2 and s3 seems like the perfect time to come back (there's now ~150 povs, I'm thinking I'm gonna watch one of the gms povs for ep 1)

Ehhhh tftsmp seems more worth it solely for the fact everyone will be talking about while there's very few people who (I will see) talk about ND. And ND isn't time sensitive for my reactions. And is 4hrs long.

Info and a minor update.

Mod: I’ve decided to open up a new verse that’s been nagging at me for a while, it’s been added to my about and verses section, it’s under construction mainly because i need to get a few things, at least for SFM, a custom pegasus enclave power armor, the sniper she was given by the academy, - if you’ve followed that scene, you’ll know which i mean~ - and a map,

otherwise, i will try and use some ingenuity on Second Life~ For those that don’t know, SL is basically VRchat before it became a game of it’s own, you can do tones of stuff on there, you might have seen me do some minor linkage, and establishing SL as a separate Timeline or verse, though they are kinda heavy into micro transactions, but it’s only for special things, like currency and premium membership, which gives you some bonuses, the currency you can use to buy avatars, though the cost can be quite high for that, depending on what avatar you wanna get, there are a few Pony avatars on there, the main ones being N.E.I.G.H Pony, Equstrian pride/Mero pony (EP for short), and Flower pony (FP for short)~

1. NEIGH pony: is a mesh type of avatar, which can be useful, if you make your own design and look. 2. Equestrian Pride/Mero pony: is a standard multipiece avatar, with multiple mod packs and accesories. 3. Flower pony: AKA noodle legs by some, are a Bento based avatar, there are very few things for those, since creators tended to prefer the EP over the others. You can create your own things on there if you know how to work with prims, sculpties, meshes etc etc, and you can sell them for the currency that is required to get stuff~

That’s about it for a brief explanation and a small update on what’s to come, the Fallout Equestria verse can still be accessed, though it will only be in text until i’ve gotten the pics i need, so basically more options to RP with me~ ^^
