i’ve been wanting to give a longer, traditional hc style post about this!! since you’ve asked it’s the perfect opportunity to express my thoughts on it. it’s more of a combination of SR with the user and their stand, i hope that’s okay hjrktme

Bruno Bucciarati;

Sticky Fingers is the first Stand from Bucciarati’s group that you got to see! So there’s a special place in your heart for it. By extension, Bruno was the first person to see Scarlet Ribbons. SR was very inquisitive during their initial meeting, since it’s the first time she ever saw a Stand other than herself. She was looking around a lot, and lowkey wondering where are this things bows at?? 

Though Stand powers wildly vary from one another, Bruno was able to give you a general explanation of what to expect from SR. He didn’t want to go too overboard with advice because he feels a natural fighting style stemming from your own abilities/instinct is best, especially since your Stand is created from your soul. He basically just told you to go with your gut, which at the time felt a bit frustrating... it turned out to be good advice though! 

Sticky Fingers and SR have almost opposite abilities in a way? SR can close up gaps whereas Sticky Fingers opens them up. It’s not uncommon that when you and Bruno are chatting, that your respective Stands are just kinda messing around in the distance. Sticky Fingers likes making zippers in walls, and SR tries to see if she can close them with ribbons... it doesn’t work like that, but it’s kinda endearing to see them interact with one another lmao.

Giorno Giovanna;

It’s gonna be super cute okay. Giorno in general might give the impression of knowing what he’s doing when it comes to romance, but he really is just winging it and kinda going ??? the entire time. Meanwhile, Gold Experience is going ham with SR, pulling all the stops to impress her (and you, by extension). His Stand makes flowers of a striking red color, trying to match the shade of SR’s ribbons!! Mostly poppies, tulips, and occasionally roses. 

Giorno is kinda curious how SR seems to be out a lot of the time, he’s thinking should I do the same thing with GE...? You’ll be doing exercises, and SR is there bringing a water bottle over to you. Or when you’re cooking, SR is hovering over your shoulder wanting to help out as well. She’s just almost always around, even if only in the background to explore her surroundings. It makes Giorno let GE out more often, subconsciously. 

He does ask you about it once, and you just kinda shrug and say SR likes the freedom to do as she pleases. Since she isn’t rambunctious like Pistols, you don’t see the harm in letting her roam around.  

Gold Experience wants to try making ribbons, but the best it can do is creating ribbon eels. It’s not quite the same, but it’s a solid effort. Giorno just has to stop GE from putting the ribbon eel on his head in the same way SR has a ribbon on hers. Mista was around to witness this historical event, and no, he does not intend on letting Giorno live it down. Giorno’s grateful he stopped it from actually happening though. 

Guido Mista;

Let’s just say your Stands together can be pretty chaotic. The first time you met Mista, and he realized you were a Stand user like himself, he had a very pressing question. When you showed him SR, he looked at it for a moment, as if in deep thought. 

“D-does... yours talk too?” 

Mista passed Polpo’s test only to be gifted talented, albeit troublesome little gremlins. Before he realized giving Pistols food is a reliable method of calming them down, it was a war zone. One of the mornings where the two of you had to do some standard protection fee collection, he looked like a borderline zombie. Lamenting that the Pistols refused to let him sleep, and asked if you’d please use SR to cover their mouths lmao. They were protesting the entire time, trying to convince you not to do it.

When Number Five starts crying, SR makes a little ribbon to put on his head!! It’s super cute and Mista’s heart is just leaping in his chest. Then, of course, all the other Pistols want one bc equal attention!! When the two of you aren’t paying solid attention to your Stands, you’ll sometimes spot SR testing how many accessories she can fit on the tiny Pistols. It isn’t a lot but they’re insistent on trying. 

Pistols are always trying to get SR to do crazy stunts for their entertainment. Eventually, you had to lock your refrigerator with her ribbons to prevent the Pistols from stealing your food. But when you’re busy, the Pistols keep trying to convince SR to undo them so they can snack. She actually felt bad for them once, released the restriction, and the Pistols went to town on your leftovers. : (

Mista felt pity for you though and offered to take you out to get more food!! So it all worked out for his benefit in the end. The Pistols do not take issue in reminding him of this as well, saying that they’re the reason he got to go on a date with you. :’ )

Pannacotta Fugo;

He remained fiercely adamant on keeping Purple Haze from you for the longest time. Fugo hates how his Stand practically comes out of its own autonomy whenever you’re in the vicinity, wanting to get a closer look at you. There have been a lot of close calls when you first got to know when another, leading to Fugo abruptly leaving in conversations. 

Your Stands get along well once Fugo feels comfortable enough to let Purple Haze out around you. Since SR is a long ranged Stand, she can do her cute ribbon tricks from a distance outside of the virus’ range!! Though she has a habit of trying to get closer, just out of curiosity. Fugo gets freaked out when this happens though, so she waits until he’s distracted with talking to you (a little genius)! 

Purple Haze makes the biggest puppy dog eyes at SR, which humiliates Fugo to no end. He gives his Stand intense talks when you’re not around, telling him to keep it cool, he doesn’t want you thinking he’s an idiot. But as soon as he even mentions SR, Purple Haze gets all thrilled and is like !!! So it’s ultimately counterproductive. Fugo just hopes you don’t put two and two together, over why his soul likes yours so much. It’s his daily prayer...

Fugo has an embarrassing habit of doodling ribbons on stuff he’s working on, when he starts zoning out. When he realizes what it is he’s doing he gets flustered about it, cursing underneath his breath and hoping that you don’t happen to come by and notice. Unfortunately for him, as SR likes to see what everyone is up to, she came over and saw what he was doing. After putting two and two together, she gave him a nod and a thumbs up on his doodles. Didn’t snitch to you though, so the two of them have a mutual understanding. :’)

Narancia Ghirga;

He wants so badly to impress you with Aerosmith. Narancia will whip his Stand out in your presence at any given opportunity, having it do a few flips and tricks more than necessary. Then he stares over to see what you and SR think about it... she once clapped in Aerosmith’s honor. It was all Narancia could think about for the rest of the day. 

The two Stands typically just play around with one another. Aerosmith likes to make little ribbon shaped clouds, and SR attempts making a plane shape out of her ribbons. It’s not quite the same, but she’s trying!! Narancia finds it adorable, and tries to make requests of shapes and stuff for her to make. SR does her best to fulfill the requests, concentrating hard on the task!!

Since SR enjoys making hair accessories, she’s tried to make a bandanna similar to Narancia’s for you. Though she ultimately scrapped the idea, giving you a disapproving look and fastening it back into the normal bow it normally is lmao. When you mentioned this behavior to Narancia he was like wait, what?? Lemme see! But if SR doesn’t find something fashionable, she doesn’t have any intention on doing it again. So he’s outta luck...

It doesn’t stop him from asking about it. He just can’t believe that your Stand thought about him when he wasn’t around!! It touched him in a way he never knew possible. It’s also a bit of a relief since you’re often the subject of his thoughts. 

Leone Abbacchio;

Similar in a sense to Fugo, where he didn’t want Moody Blues around you that much at first. He takes a much more serious approach to his Stand than others, since it’s deeply rooted in his past trauma. It’d actually be one of the few moments he might snap at you, should you ask to see his Stand one too many times. Not out of malicious intent, he’s just... very disillusioned with Moody Blues at first.

You two had a job which required some investigative work, the client having seemingly disappeared with some goods that belonged to Passione. Figuring out what happened with the merchandise was essentially child’s play for Moody Blues, a replay showing the full extent of the events. Abbacchio wasn’t keen on showing you his Stand, but it couldn’t be helped any longer.

Unlike the others who tended to pester him on the extent of Moody Blues’ abilities, you just complimented him. Saying that it’s similar in utility to your Stand. You willingly comparing yourself to him, and in a positive light nonetheless, kinda had him at a loss for words. 

He didn’t really offer a strong rebuttal like he normally would, so you assumed he didn’t think much of your comment. Which, of course, couldn’t be further from the truth. If you could see good in him of all people, then well... there was a lot for him to think about that night.

After this incident, he’s noticeably just a tad kinder to you in general. What you said meant a lot to him. Obviously not enough to make all his self deprecation go away overnight, but it just gave a small glimmer of hope. That maybe he can someday be better.

Trish Una;

Another person that I picture SR being especially adorable with!! After the events of Bruno betraying the boss, you and SR would be feeling hurt on Trish’s behalf. You instantly draw the parallels of living a carefree life, only for Passione/gangsters to come in and essentially ruin everything.

While dealing with the pain of rejection from her father figure, Trish also wonders if you consider her less important. Since your original job was to protect her, due to being the boss’ daughter, wouldn’t it make sense you don’t care about her now that it’s no longer your job to?

SR covers the spot where her hand was severed with a bow, even after Giorno properly heals it. Trish just looks at you confused, and you explain it’s your Stand’s way of wanting to help her feel better. That where her father had inflicted pain, Trish has the support and strength from you and herself to overcome it. 

Needless to say, Trish thinks highly over you, the feeling extending over to Spice Girl. During your meetups after everything is over, Spice Girl and Scarlet Ribbons come out and embrace one another!! Well, it’s more like SR goes for the hug, and Spice Girl is just :’) woah affection. Trish finds it a little embarrassing at first, but secretly loves and it and looks forward to it. Though she does wish Spice Girl was a tad more discreet. 

During Trish’s travels for her singing career, if there’s anything that even vaguely reminds her/Spice Girl of you, she snaps a photo to text to you. It’s mostly red hair accessories and clothing, which she of course purchases. Spice Girl misses SR a lot, so expect to receive a lot of texts asking how you and your Stand are doing. 

When Scarlet Ribbon spots Trish’s name popping up on your phone, she immediately brings it over. The Stand impatiently shoves your phone in your face, as if to say respond now!! It’s Trish, it’s important!! Scarlet Ribbons loves her a lot 🥺 especially since Trish sends her accessories...

Alrighty so let's get to it.

The next day was tame and relaxed for the (h/c) haired boy as he continued on with his classes. He aced the chemistry test, did well in dancing and magic history all was doing alright-

"Luciiiiieeeennnn! You look so handsome in the photos!!!" Brier said skipping into Lucien's classroom right after the bell indicating lunch rang

"Ha?"

Brier showed his screen to the clueless boy, swiping each photo where Lucien looked hot as shit very handsome. The rest of his classmates congratulated him, patting him in the back, complimenting him, encouraging him, as he teared up and pouted.

"I look better than that photo..."

The black haired man looked at his phone in absolute awe, his son's magicam on full display.

Splayed on his latest post, a boy, with the most beautiful (h/c) hair, expressive (e/c) eyes, smooth pale skin, fine bone structure, pink lips, his slim body hidden by fine wool pieces signifying the autumnal season.

He wore a three piece suit consisting of a suit jacket, vest, and a pair of tailored pants. The wool was in a warm brown wool with a lovely. houndstooth pattern. He casually sat on a white chair with intricate patterns on it. Casual his pose may be, but God did it fit him.

This was the first time Neige has seen the boy in the post, but he was beyond curious, who was he? Where did he come from? If he was this handsome, no doubt would he have seen him earlier as a child model.

Lucien, that was his name, nothing in the description of the post said anything about where he came from.

"Mira, reschedule my schedule. I'm visiting RSA."

The blonde haired man, who finished a small workout, was checking his magicam while drinking apple juice from his friend's hometown.

His search didn't go far as he dropped his phone in sheer surprise.

His hands stumbled to snatch his phone off the floor, checking again truly showed that this boy was truly, truly like the epitome of beauty.

Vil, looked again at the boy who surprised him so much and studied him like a scientist does to his specimen.

(H/c) colored hair that was as silky as the finest silk, (e/c) eyes that gleamed like gems, pink lips that curled up into a smirk as he wore a black suit that fit perfectly. Vil couldn't help but remember from years ago, a special person. The potato from Ramshackle Dorm, the messy beauty who helped him out during his third year of high school.

Was he her child? There was only one way to find out.

"Mira, reschedule my schedule. It seems I'm going to RSA." Vil said seething a bit at the end

Vil typed in some numbers and brought the phone to his ear.

"Oui?"

"Rook, we're going to RSA."

Lucien looked at the envelope of cash Noel gave him and his eyes almost popped out of its sockets. Counting the money, he was able to deduce that what he had received was a staggering amount of money. They were currently in the ever busy Modeling Clubroom.

"Noel-senpai! This must be a mistake!"

"Eh? Is it not enough?"

"What? No!? It's too much for a high schooler to have!"

"Oh! That's your share, you were really popular you know, say, why don't you buy a phone and make a magicam with that money. I'm sure you'll be able to get more."

"That's not the point!"

A knock disrupted the two students as they looked at the culprit, Asher stood there clearing his throat.

"Heyya Lucien-chan~ you got some guests."

"Eh?"

"My, my, you look so much more beautiful in person Lucien-san."

"Hmph! I'd say there's a clear difference between a photo and the real thing."

"You must be Monsieur Lucien! Ah such beauty! I shall call you Le Prince Inattendu!"

(E/c) eyes observed the seemingly neverending grey sky that blanketed the Valley of Thorns. Those eyes looked soulless as they looked out to the distance from their window.

The owner of those eyes wore a soft nightgown made with what can only be imagined as the best silk money could buy. She sat on her comfortable window seat staring off at what ever caught her eyes on the palace grounds.

A knock on her door didn't faze her ministrations as well as the creak of the opening door.

"Your Highness, His Highness was worried that you didn't eat breakfast." her most trusted maid said with a deep bow

The queen reverted her eyes towards the maid and wondered why she still served her and not Bellatrix. Honestly she could have chosen to serve Bellatrix instead and have a friendlier and cooperative mistress, like a dog itching for attention.

"I'm not in the mood to eat any time soon."

"Then I will have your lunch be delivered to your bedroom Your Highness." swiftly replying, she left the (h/c) haired woman to let her further enjoy her peace

"..."

Glancing off into the distance, she saw in one of the many palace gardens, Bellatrix holding what seems to be a tea party.

Typical of her, after all she was rather childish and longed for praise and showers of compliments and if she couldn't get it from Malleus, she would have to get it from her fellow noble ladies of the Valley of Thorns.

"My love. I had heard that you didn't want to eat."

Ah, the person she least wanted to see.

"..."

"Please don't be like that my dear, it hurts me that you aren't talking to me." Malleus walked closer and closer to her sitting figure, trying to get her to at least talk

"..."

Malleus gripped her shoulders as he tried to get her to talk, saying words of endearment, cooing at her, he tried everything.

Dejected, he walked out of the room-

"I want to talk to my children, not you..."

Sharp (e/c) eyes stared right into the lenses of the camera, a hint of eye liner to make it a bit more mysterious. The owner of those eyes contorted his body to accommodate the two older models who was also staring into the lenses.

Clapping and praise came from the blonde haired man who stood beside the photographer, his enthusiasm was synonymous to what the whole room was feeling as they all, in their own ways, were at awe with the three attractive creatures in front of them.

The blond model was stationed on the left of the youngest and was exceptionally beautiful, no, a better word would be gorgeous. His energy and appearance gave a mature and somewhat devilish look to to the man. He was dressed in a lavish suit in a daring deep red color, his hair was slicked back to show off his perfect skin and structured face.

The man posed the right of the youngest was in an opulent deep yellow suit that rivalled the blond's deep red suit. He had an air of regality to him as he looked at the lenses. His dark hair was tousled and gave him a youthful look. If the blond model capitalized on immortal maturity, then this black haired one focused on giving the appearance of staying forever young.

The youngest drew a fine line in the middle of the extremes the men beside him were displaying. He had the aura of a mature man, with his suit being in a traditional dark blue color, inside the body of a teenager, which was shown through the fashion forward way in which his suit was constructed. His hair was unchanged from his usual style, the fringe staying to cover up his little secret.

The photoshoot went on for another hour and they soon started to finish up. Lucien, exhausted, accepted all the praise that was given to him with a bit of embarrassment. Neige clapped as he went closer to the boy, only to be stopped by Vil, who held Lucien's wrist.

Vil gave a charming smile before leading Lucien to a secluded table, far from any prying ears.

"Lucien, that's your name isn't it?"

"Mhm, Vil-san, why did you bring here?"

Vil stared hard into those eyes that shined as bright as the eyes of that girl from two decades ago, they were shrouded in a mysterious veil, Vil spotted it the first time he saw him in person and immediately became anxious. He was impressed with how well he hid it, but Vil wasn't idiotic enough to not see through it, he was Vil Schoenheit after all.

"Just a small question, I am wondering if you know anyone going by the name of (M/c) (L/n)? I realized that you both had the same surnames, so I was curious." polite and short

"... I don't think I ever came across someone who goes by that name."

"Is that so? I see, then good job today, you weren't half bad." Vil said as he left, not before his eyes trailed to look at Lucien's eyes

I hope you liked the little MC part =), so I just wanted to bring in some characters from the Valley of Thorns and others will have their own parts in the coming chapters so we won't focus too much on Lucien, to my chagrin.

   SPANKING OR SCRATCHING?

  While the degrees to VOYEUR or EXHIBITIONIST may shift somewhat from verse to verse, it’s a pretty solid lean to exhibitionist behaviours every time.  This is definitely way more prevalent in her model verse, where she does nude modeling as well as fashion etc. but she always has a penchant for risky and public behaviour that manifests especially in sexual activities whether it’s just heavy make out sessions and heavy petting or full on getting fingered beneath a table at a diner or full on banging in the bathroom of a restaurant or bar or – wherever.   This is something that she does tend to keep a lid on in her main verse(s) especially with her academic reputation and facing the double edged standards of sexuality between men and women, especially in such a strongly male dominated field but…  honestly, if she’s worked up enough, or if she’s had too much to drink (or on those rare occasions in main verses that she indulges in other chemical influences) it’s a preference that makes itself known if she has a partner that will indulge her.

Since you’re new, I’d like to talk about terminology a little bit. This isn’t to scold you, just to share more perspective!

So “biologically female” can be useful for some people and if someone prefers to use that for themself, that should absolutely be respected. But it isn’t a term that should just be applied generally to everyone! I am nonbinary, therefore I am biologically nonbinary. There’s a lot of misguided effort in saying “biologically [gender]”, especially when it’s by cis folk and/or being applied as a blanket statement to all trans/nb people. Basically, unless someone is personally using it for themself, I consider it a sneaky way of misgendering trans people. It comes from the idea of the “sex =/=gender” split, which is supposed to help people new to the trans identity understand what trans means more easily.

Trans simply means ‘does not identify only and wholly as the gender they were assigned at birth’ (whereas cis means ‘identifying only and wholly as the gender they were assigned at birth’). Because the way we assign gender is... pretty simple and subjective. Doctors take a look at a baby’s outer reproductive genitalia, assign a gender based on that, and call it a day. Only it gets even more complicated when you include intersex people in the conversation. Intersex is a broad category we use for people with variations in their sexual anatomy that don’t match up with the binary anatomies of either external or internal genitalia and what typically goes along with each of those. These conditions can be anything from an extra chromosome to ambiguous physical genitalia to more. A lot of intersex conditions aren’t even visible at birth, so babies like this are marked as they appear to the doctor and may only find out at an older age that they are intersex if/when a health condition pops up. And intersex babies whose condition is visible? ...They are often mutilated: surgically made to appear as if they only have external or internal sexual genitalia. I think this is one of the clearest examples of just how subjective and simplistic the system that we use to assign people gender is, which is why “biologically [gender]” isn’t broadly useful.

Because a long time ago someone decided to take a rather simplistic view of gender and randomly assign people one of two genders based on random criteria, which happened to be visible genitalia. And we used this determination to separate people into two categories of social class and treat them differently because of this. When someone says “male” or “female” or “man” or “woman”, people have the same connotation regardless. So trying to separate sex from gender as two different concepts... well, it isn’t the greatest idea, as that means erasing a meaning/connotation people have for one of those terms and redefining it. It is much easier - and more accurate - to instead expand our understanding. As well, a method such as this, where you could understand that I have [x] set of genitalia and [x] set of chromosomes and am nonbinary regardless of all of that would result in much better healthcare because it would actually give doctors relevant information about my body and health, rather than relying on assumptions based on if I check an “M” or “F” box.

So if you find defining yourself as “biologically female” as useful, that’s fine and don’t let me stop you from defining your own experience! I know a few nonbinary people who find the “sex =/= gender” split useful for defining their experience and how they figured out they were nonbinary. But as a general rule, it’s just a description to not use in an umbrella way.

If you already knew that, sorry for being redundant! But since you said you were still learning, I thought it might be useful. ^^

So let’s move more onto your question. I’m just going to repeat it here, since it could have gotten a little lost after my explanation:

So, as noted earlier, trans simply means ‘does not wholly or only identify as the gender you were assigned at birth’. More specifically for nonbinary, we can define this as: ‘not identifying wholly or only as the gender you were assigned at birth AND not identifying only or wholly as man or woman’. Note that this says nothing about your genitalia, pronouns, name, presentation, expression, or anything else superficial. Because all that stuff doesn’t have to define your gender! So you were assigned female at birth, dress femininely, use she/her pronouns, and don’t mind being read as a woman? You can totally still be nonbinary! There is no bar or test that you have to pass for your identity to be valid! All you have to do is identify as nonbinary!

As you have touched on in your ask, gender really comes down to how you feel. There’s two posts I want to suggest here where a couple other people go over what gender “is”. They’re good reads and when trying to figure out what the heck gender feels like, it’s always good to be able to get multiple perspectives to see if you can find one that’s helpful for you! They are “What is Gender? What Does it Feel Like?” by askanonbinary and “Gender is Art” by wedontcareaboutyourbinary. I’m not great at explaining open and subjective concepts like this, but for me, gender is an innate feeling of who you are. It’s a connection you make, either (or multiply) with a label(s), others, and/or yourself. It is something internal that can have external influences and expressions.

So when you say “i’ve never really felt like a girl, but i’m definitely not a boy either.” - this sounds like your gender!!! And, as we saw defined above, you don’t feel wholly and only like a girl or a boy, so it sounds like you do fall under the label of nonbinary!

That being said, I want to touch on “is nb the correct term for me?” and the answer is... that’s totally up to you! I really like how I saw nbandproud put it: “Gender is Not A Diagnosis”. There is no formula for determining your identity (although I know many of us would find it easier if there were!). You can’t just check off a list of feelings, expression, etc., and get a simple output that defines who you are. We describe our gender with a label, and labels are, first and foremost, for ourself. They are to help us describe how we feel and communicate this to others. And there is absolutely an important part of this that has to do with human emotion and connection. Two people could potentially have the same exact gender feels, yet could decide to use two separate labels for how they feel because that’s the term they connected with and decided to use. And neither of them would be wrong for doing so! That would be like me calling someone beautiful and another person arguing with me that the someone is actually gorgeous. We are using two words with similar meaning but used the word we felt at the time. Neither of us are wrong that ‘someone’ is beautiful or gorgeous. We simply used different words for it.

So only you can decide if nonbinary is the correct term for you. Often, the best way to decide this is to use the label for yourself for a while! How long that while is can be up to you. It’s fine if a while is months or years long!!! It took me a matter of several years to fall in love with the term nonbinary - and even longer to fall harder in love with genderqueer.  I simply wasn’t sure and struggled with accepting myself for that time, but in the end, those are the labels I’ve landed on (at least for now - it can always change in the future). Using the term doesn’t mean you have to come out, either. You can just use it privately. Think of yourself in regards to being nonbinary. Draw nonbinary people. Write nonbinary characters. See if the label fits you or if there’s always a disconnect with it. Experiment and decide if nonbinary is the correct term for you!

As perhaps implied above with my own identity, nonbinary doesn’t have to be the only correct term for you if that’s how you feel. You can use as many or as few labels as you want. You can use nonbinary as a specific and/or general term. You can use as specific or as general a term as you want - you can use a general term and an ultra specific one. It’s your identity: whatever you feel fits is the correct term for you!

I can suggest some more terms if you’re interested in hearing more, but there are a whoooooole lot of identities that could generally be described as “neither girl nor boy”. One of the more well-known terms I can throw based on this out would be agender: lack of a gender. If you are interested, I would suggest just flipping through some glossaries. I will warn you that these blogs can be overwhelming, especially if you’re desperate for that One Perfect Term(TM). They’re a lot to go through because there’s a lot of different ways people can feel and feel about their gender! If you find them overwhelming, take a break! You don’t have to have that One Perfect Term(TM). I don’t! And I am finally comfortable in the fact that I simply don’t understand my gender enough nor am I able to so specifically pin it down that it can be described with a term and simple definition. So if you get overwhelmed, take a break, give yourself some self-care, and go back to reading later. Questioning can takes years, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I am leaning towards ENTP.

Part 1: tests suck and honestly if someone doesn’t get INTJ on a free MBTI test I start to wonder what their deal is. Literally everyone gets INTJ. It’s bullshit.

Part 2: having a plan and living too much in the future without focusing on what you have now are most commonly associated with high Ni, but Ni is also not in my experience as good at contingencies. I would rule out high Se, but either high Si (planning and contingencies) or high Ne would be possible. Your writing style reminds me more of Si-Ne users and particularly high Ne users as does the statement of thinking very deeply about superficial stuff, so I’m putting a pin in that for now.

Part 3: most people get hunches - I’ve had some seriously strong (and correct) ones in my life and my intuition is last, because those hunches require an understanding of changed sensory signs typically (eg: weird behavior triggers the idea that something is up and then you can reason your way through what might be going on). However, frequently trusting hunches without waiting for confirmation is more consistent with intuition.

For the part regarding rules this is a case where examples are absolutely crucial. I spend a lot of my time at work arguing with high Ti users, for example, and both of us firmly feel we’re being the logical and efficient one, so it’s hard to do any typing with out understanding. Not liking authority but liking being in control sounds more like it could come from enneagram, but also it would be consistent with either ENFP or ENTP.

Part 4: Being private emotionally is also somewhat dependent on other factors - both Ne-dom types actually can be very private emotionally in my experience, which is where I’m leaning at this point. I think it’s also worth looking into what sort of balance you need regarding people; I don’t typically find Ne-aux types to be super nurturing, and everyone needs some time alone so it���s worth considering that part outside of MBTI; plenty of extroverts under the MBTI system are fairly close to the middle when it comes to actual alone time requirements.

Part 5: Not liking conflict but liking to argue is often a hallmark of high Ti, and again, it’s really important to understand what people mean by efficiency. For example: Te users are perfectly happy to brute force a solution if it’s an urgent problem/one-time issue, because in their mind, the efficient thing is to get it done when it’s needed and a little busywork is fine as it saves a lot of time designing the perfect system. Ti users don’t think this way typically; they see most brute force solutions as inherently inefficient because they can’t be reused. (apologies for some of my notes on high Ti; today was a particularly difficult Te vs. Ti argument day at work)

With regards to looping: if you don’t have a confident typing of your baseline, I really do not believe it’s possible to reliably type what your loop behavior is. Which isn’t to say that you’re wrong about your stress behavior - withdrawing and overanalyzing is very common stress behavior and I would say it’s extremely likely and understandable in fact for an ENTP under stress - it’s just not a loop in the very narrow MBTI definition.

Some “Atem after coming back” headcanons

Sooo some time ago @amatsubuart made a post with a lot of very good Atem headcanons and I got inspired to write some of my own !

There are also some Kaiba headcanons tying into them,,

* Atem has a very hard time getting used to the 21st century. It wasn’t that hard for him before because he didn’t have to understand anything, he had the comfort of going back into the puzzle and he had nothing to compare it to bc he didn’t have his memories. But now, he has his memories of AE and even lived in it for a few years through the Afterlife. So the differences are huge and can be overwhelming and disheartening

* More on that last point; he has quite a lot trouble getting used to the noise. All the people, all the cars, traffic, TVs, radios, phones, machinery, etc. It can just be too much. And he still has some problems with identifying certain sounds that would be evident for everyone around him (like a car’s alarm going off and he’s freaking out bc he thinks some great danger is coming or something)

* He doesn’t quite understand everything of the 21st century, so he has a certain child-like and genuine curiousity towards everything that’s new to him

* He’s pretty religious. He grew up worshipping the Egyptian gods and back in his time religion was handled a whole lot differently. So he prays a lot, makes offerings and even has a shrine. Well, especially now that he remembers the gods, he still feels somewhat guilty for losing his memories about them and therefore neglecting them

* He and Kaiba sometimes get into fights over his religion. Kaiba doesn’t quite believe in anything and finds Atem believing in “fairy tales” to be ridiculous and unbelievable. Sometimes he ends up offending Atem and his luck goes very down until Atem forgives him. Kaiba never said a thing about this to Atem because he knows Atem would have that smug look on his face and claim it’s the Gods’ punishment for insulting them. He tries to racionalize these times as just coincidences and to find some reason behind them, but sometimes he’s at loss for explanation (for example once his perfect systems shut down and he couldn’t get any work done or fix them, but as soon as he and Atem made up his systems started working perfectly again)

* Even tho he enjoys being with the Yugi friend gang, he also enjoys being alone and being with Kaiba (even if they aren’t doing anything together and do their own stuff next to each other)

* Neither him nor Kaiba ever talk about what happened during those times Kaiba went to visit him in the Afterlife and just how he managed to get Atem to return with him. But they had formed a much more stable bond than before and its apparent in both of their behaviors (Kaiba’s calmer and more balanced and Atem’s a lot more patient and forgiving towards Kaiba. Plus the both of them are less violent when it comes to competition)

* From time to time Kaiba goes as far as to give Atem difficult maths and logical puzzle books to keep his mind busy. They still play Duel Monsters, but not as much as they used to. Now they play a lot of different games and make a competition out of almost everything to challenge each other

* Both Kaiba and Yugi (+ his friend group) are protective of Atem. They lost him once and that’s something non of them would let happen again. Tho this isn’t all that obvious and they show this protectiveness in different ways (Yugi’s very caring to the point of being motherly and overcautious, Kaiba’s overly possessive and Anzu, Joey and Tristan would beat up anyone who even tried to lay a hand on Atem). Atem doesn’t understand why everyone seems to think he needs that much protection as he can look out for himself just fine, but he’s grateful nonetheless

* He lives with Yugi and Solomon and tries to take out his part in the chores around the house as much as possible. But he also has his own room at the Kaiba’s where he stays at from time to time

* He looks at Yugi like a twin brother and Solomon like a grandpa/father. He doesn’t care they aren’t his biological family, he still treats and loves them as such

* He still has his shadow powers and even tho he has more control over them, he barely uses them. Tho they can go out of control when he has a panic attack or something of that caliber

* Beside the mind crushing thing, he also has other powers, such as at times seeing ghosts, pyrokinesis, telekinesis and just having a huge energy power thing in general ((tho this is very much just a personal headcanon and ties into my au in which Atem is divine and the Egyptian Gods were present during his childhood, but more on that maybe later))

* He’s very lucky on the basis and his instincts are pretty much always spot-on, so things usually conveniently go his way

* Whenever he’s very bored, he reads books about AE and Egyptian mythology. This usually ends up with him either laughing or getting angry at how much they got wrong. But sometimes certain books and authors impress and surprise him if they turn out to be accurate

* He actually picked up the habit of talking with Ishizu from time to time. She gives him comfort bc she reminds him a lot of his era and she can talk with him about AE. He also tends to help out with translating/reading hieroglyphics and clearing up stuff about AE (like traditions, life in general, religion, etc)

* As Kaiba and Ishizu became sort of business partners, Kaiba sometimes flies out to Egypt to have business meetings with her. And he started taking Atem with him as well (just Atem, anyone else in addition would be too much). And Atem’s very grateful, he feels more at home there even if it makes him very sad bc he misses his former friends, family and people

* His fashion style is either very elegant or baggy everything and there’s no inbetween. Also lots of gold jewelry

* As his biggest fear is becoming useless, Yugi and their friend group try to keep him busy as much as they can. Ishizu tends to give him work by having him help out with AE-ian stuff. Kaiba sometimes calls him for help (which is never stated) with some of his newest technologies, mainly with testing or finding shortcuts. In addition, he also does voluntary work and helps out at different organizations like animal shelters

* More about him helping out Kaiba. Atem’s thinking and problem-solving is a lot different from anyone else’s. He grew up in a completely different era where people believed completely different things and interpreted the laws of physics in different ways. He knows how his people built the pyramids and follows the same mathematical calculation style. So whenever Kaiba gets really tangled up in his programming or calculations, Atem goes and approaches the problem on hand in a very different mannerism and usually gets a much quicker way to the correct answer or answers. Sometimes even Kaiba can’t properly understand just how Atem’s logic work

* He’s fluent in Japanese, but whenever he gets overwhelmed he starts talking in his native tongue. Solomon, Ishizu and Kaiba are the only ones who can more or less understand him and talk to him (tho Yugi also has been trying to learn ancient Egyptian and take up classes on it). And he also picked up on some English and Arabic

* As he sort of just appeared out of nowhere, they had to get all his papers made. And that process would have been a hella lot more difficult if Kaiba didn’t help out and get all of them done for Atem. It was never said why exactly he did it, but it was because he was grateful for Atem’s return and he has problems with saying thank you or expressing his feelings

* He has a bad habit of getting a bit too “royal” at times and someone needs to pull him back by telling him to stop. He got used to being the pharaoh and being treated and looked at as a sort of god, so at times he picks up a more demanding tone and orders others around, which reminds everyone of Kaiba more than Atem himself

* Thanks to getting his memories back and getting back into ruling, he has a bigger respect-demanding authorial vibe to him. He grew up in royalty and in being believed he was divine, so he was taught to have the stance of a king all the time

* He tells a lot of stories about his Gods to Yugi. He grew up on them, so they are dear to him and Yugi’s interested in listening to them. They are kind of like bedtime stories to Yugi, they have that kind of charm. And even tho Kaiba says they are bullshit and doesn’t believe in them, he’s willing to listen to these stories as well (alongside Mokuba, who openly enjoys and looks forward to them)

* He loves animals and they seem to love him as well. Stray animals always let him pet them, especially how he often gives them food. He can’t have a pet on his own tho

* He and Anzu never got together. He never had such feelings for her and her feelings sort of faded during those years when he was gone. But he’s rooting for Anzu and Yugi to get together and tries to help Yugi out even tho he has no dating experience

* He has a lot of dreams regarding AE. Most of them good, but also some bad ones like reliving his death. Some of the good dreams feel like they are the way his dead friends are communicating with him. And regardless of if it’s good or bad, after waking up he almost always cries himself back to sleep bc he feels regret and just misses his friends and family so much

* He has gotten used to the very warm weather and the constant sunshine, so being in Japan, where it’s colder and the sun shines less, has taken a toll on him. He got used to it with time, but he still gets moody bc of it at times and he has a lower cold-tolerance than most people (but at the same time he can take the heat much better than everyone around him)

* It didn’t exactly thunder in the Afterlife. There were some light rains, but that’s about it. So during the first few months of coming back, he would go outside whenever it was really raining and there were a lot of lightnings. And ofc whoever he was spending the night at (mostly Yugi, sometimes Kaiba) had to drag him back inside so he wouldn’t catch a cold. This adoration for thunders didn’t go away, but with time he learnt to just watch them through a window

No no, don’t worry. I really enjoy answering to these asks, and trust me- I will never see it as a burden. Also, I’m getting inspiration from @inazuma-eleven-translations’ takes on physical appearance- so watch as each one gets more and more detailed! ASK YOUR HEART OUT PEOPLE! I LOVE THAT MY OPINION IS BEING VALUED. 

Okay let’s move on from the sentimental stuff and onto Shindou. 

I don’t know if this would be considered a great source, but I was looking on TvTropes, and came across the Inazuma characters. There, it listed Shindou as a Bishounen boy- which I totally agree with. I feel like Shindou has this charm to him that makes him appear beautiful yet handsome. His design is almost androgynous- sort of differing from how Kirino was literally designed to be confused for a girl(their personalities are all “man” though- whatever that means). Shindou emits a different kind of beauty- that could literally attract anyone, and I feel like that would play into his physical appearance as well. However, Shindou also appears somewhat intimidating- mostly because like Kurama, he also has a severe case of RBF. This really showed up in the start of Go, where he was pissed of with Tenma, and really, really hated Tsurugi, and also in Galaxy where he threw shade on the entire team. 

Going back to the intimidation factor, I feel like he would have pretty thick and shapely eyebrows- which would probably help him achieve that frightening yet beautiful look. The shape would make him look elegant- which Shindou totally is. Additionally, even in the anime- Shindou does have amazing eyebrows not going to lie. Also on the topic of his eyes, I would say that they would be pretty big and would also be somewhat bright looking. Even though Shindou isn’t really a “bright” person, he sure as heck is extremely expressive, so those big eyes would help others be able to see his emotions(helps with the bishie thing too). Also his irises would be around the color of golden brown with slight hints of red in there. 

Shindou’s hair is a whole other topic. It is actually one of the more mild hairs in InaGo, and his entire appearance actually looks more realistic than any other character in the show. He’s like one of the few people with realistic “hair physics”, and a realistic hair color. Since Level 5 chose a very kiddish animation for the Inazuma franchise, it’s hard to determine the true length of his hair. In my headcanon- I would say that his hair would reside just above the shoulders- and that his hair would be wavy overall- and then transform into those beautiful curls near the end. His hair would look like someone curled their hair at the bottom- except more natural. I also see some frizz in there(bc that hair can’t stay perfect after every soccer game. Trust me I tried that style once). 

Now going on to the rest of his face, I see him being as a person with an ample nose. Like those long noses that actually work with people’s faces without looking like Captain Hook or something. Idk, but his entire attitude seems somewhat “long-nosed” if you’re getting my drift. His lips might be somewhat full for someone of his age- also adding on to his entire appearance. He’s a rich young boy- and his face(if not his body) would look somewhat pampered. In terms of skin color, it’s averagely tan- so I feel like he wouldn’t be all Japanese. Just like @inazuma-eleven-translations headcanoned, he could have some European roots to him, probably Italian- because his dub name, and some Italians have that slight tan to them which could match Shindou’s skin tone. Guys I also hate it when people “whitewash” Shindou in fan art(but it’s their interpretation of him- and I will not stalk people who do that and hate on them), because Shindou clearly isn’t white. He has dark skin. Darker than everyone on the Gryphon Trio- and people shouldn’t take that lightly. Back to ethnicities, Shindou also could be part Mexican, Spanish(yes they are different things), Indian(South Asian), etc. 

Now height. I personally think that Shindou would be shorter than Kirino, probably by an inch or two at most. So in that case, I see him in the 5′3″-5′4″ range. Although I really hoped for a smol Shindou because it would be cool seeing a short person(like 5′1″-5′2″ short) angrily boss the Galaxy team around. Yes, I know it’s odd having a 14 year old be around the height of an average girl of that age, but Shindou’s and Kirino’s builds could match their heights. Plus we need to take in their ethnicities, and Shindou’s of average height- so he would pass for taller than the average Japanese male in that age- most likely because of the large variation of heights in the entire Raimon team. 

For build, I would say that he would be somewhat broader than most. He’s rich, and he has ample food, so I feel like he totally wouldn’t be skinny. I don’t see that much of a stomach pudge or anything- mostly because he’s a veteran athlete, but if he wasn’t- then he’d totally be pretty soft. Also he plays piano, so his fingers and arms could be quite delicate- but that shouldn’t distract us from the fact that he’s a soccer player. If you watch the training episode where Kidou harshly tests the Raimon team, we see Shindou hot on Tsurugi’s trail when they were running. And Tsurugi’s Tsurugi. This shows that Shindou has a lot of stamina- more stamina than speed. I feel like he wouldn’t be that fast, but this kid could run. He wouldn’t have 6-pack abs or something, but he would be quite toned, and quite muscled. Also, in the episode where Raimon goes against Eito Academy in the start as a practice match before Holy Road, we see a comparison between Shindou and Eito’s Captain, and the other guy is a lot more skinny and doesn’t have that big of a chest. Whereas Shindou on the other hand, has a pretty ample chest, so I feel like it ties into how he’s muscled and has a bit of body fat- which probably explains his stamina. 

I know this analysis was more detailed than my other physical analysis posts, and it’s only because I’m developing a template to answer these questions. If anyone who asked me to do a physical analysis on other characters(cough Tenma cough, I know that one sucked), and you aren’t satisfied, please ask me again, and I will answer in full detail this time!

Heavy & Medic Headcanon

Also for @camiluna27 bc we were talking about it last night about how much we dislike the fandom making medic into this weak, useless character to satisfy their shipping needs.

Medic was from a place where you kept up a very strict facade... or you died. So like, perhaps when he got there he was guarded, cold, distant, and even though the unresolved tension between him and heavy was CHOKING THE LIFE OUT OF THE TEAM (to the point where even scout and soldier noticed and tried to force them to deal with it via locking them in the infirmary together)... he never made any sign that he was interested.

Anyone who was not considered normal, died. Physical, mental illness... you no longer mattered to the people holding his beloved germany hostage with their dictatorship. Wrong skin? Eyes? Gender? Race? Death.

...there was always some examination, some test, always spies sent out to root out the people hidden in secret basements, attics, cellars.

...always a pretty face at the bar waiting to turn you in for money, for the glory of-... that awful man who ran everything.

Medic didn’t technically have a preference. He didn't have a type, not really; but he would know when he saw them, spoke to them, that he liked them. Or didn't.

And he knew that Heavy.... Misha, as he'd been asked to call the Russian... felt the same way in return. But even though on the base, surrounded by people who were somewhat indifferent and likely to kill anyone who stated dissent to anything between the two men... he just couldn't bring himself to take that step.

The last time he'd made a mistake, he'd nearly died. Nearly been caught. Thankfully Mann Co. stole him away before he could be taken, but it still haunted him... he'd lost control.

Heavy has faced the same, in his own country, but he fled rather than pretending to integrate. So his caution is not as high as Medics. Besides, he could kill anyone easily, if they said anything particularly distasteful about it...

For a while, he assumes medic is just a cold man; then he starts to query if he's shy. But then, one night, the medic is exhausted, lounging in an armchair too tired to go to bed himself... and HEavy finally sees the man without his guarded expression on. The glasses are off and not hiding the weary, almost lost, look in his eyes...

He had seen it before, in people who had tried so hard, fought so long, kept too many secrets and been betrayed one too many times to trust...

It was... suddenly far too understandable.

When the man falls asleep, he carries him to bed; and leaves him be. Deciding to discuss it in the morning, a weekend, when there was no battle to distract them.

Medic is hesitant, because he can tell what will be discussed, and his entire body tenses when Misha tries to be overly-friendly.

He does not want to be open, like this. What if someone saw? Questioned their motives and reasons for being alone? What if someone knew too much?

Of course, he had an inkling the rest of the team knew... but it wouldn't be the same as admitting it. Aloud. By himself.

Heavy asks him to sit, and says he knows... and it is okay, they are safe here. That Heavy feels the same way; but understands if doktor is not ready yet to say it.

Medic is not a weak man, by any stretch of the imagination... Physically, emotionally, mentally. 

But having to confront something like this, with someone he actually did have feelings for, who was so open and warm about the whole thing. Who was not adverse to waiting, who showed patience...

It had him on the edge. He was confused, mostly; inside was a clamouring mass of fear or persecution, a strange relief that almost made him want to cry, and a sudden surge of adrenaline that screamed 'run, he knows!'. His limbs shook as he tried to stay still, present, in the room.

All he manages to respond is, "I'm not veak" in a small voice.

And Heavy, smart as he was, reacts understandingly, gently. He slowly moves over to encompass the other in a hug, loose and ready to disengage the very minute he gets a signal that the other wants freedom...

"Of course Doktor is not veak. Just too strong for very long time, it is hard, da?"

There's a muffled noise, they both pretend isn't a sob, before Medic agrees "Ja."

"And there is nothing wrong vith not being sure, or ready to say some things. Vill be okay, Doktor, Heavy vill protect you like always."

"...I know. Danke, Herr Heavy... Misha... it is just..." he pauses, "Zhings have happened before vhen I... let someone close..."

He doesn't have to say more, and maybe he never will; Heavy doesn't press. This is the side of Doktor that has been draining the man of his energy, his happiness, for so long... Heavy is fine with listening, or remaining in silence as it resolved.

And they do stand there for quite a while, saying nothing. Both thinking, feeling the reciprocal warmth of one another's bodies.

Finally, Medic sighs and moves slightly, Heavy lets him go immediately; still with the sensation of warmth on his skin.

For a long moment, the German watches him... blue eyes clear and unguarded as he observes the other. Then... he laughs, softly.

"Do you know, Herr Heavy... I zhink I like you, quite a lot..."

Heavy returns the grin. "Da, feel the same way about my Doktor..."

"Good, zhen ve can talk about it over..." he glances at a clock, "lunch? Already?"

"Sounds good, let us go."

And that does not fix things automatically, but it is a start.

They are slow.

Casual touches, pet names, affection when they are together and then finally in front of the others (who sigh in relief bc it's about time), medic feels safe to lean on heavy one day whilst watching a movie, and the week after, he kisses the mountain of a man after winning a match...

It builds. Confidence, trust, and the spark between them.

Just progressing to sleeping in the same bed took a while. Medic had this frustrating habit of snapping awake, sometimes with new ideas at 3am, other times from dreams, and yet others because Heavy's presence had registered and he'd panic. Thinking he'd been caught, or was about to be.

They built on things.

Sleeping together, to exploring bodies (well, medic had the advantage -clinically speaking), to touching...

And that was the bit that had a barrier to it. They were both eager and trusted one another, but when someone had been betrayed in a very specific and intimate manner... it had long-lasting effects. HEavy would always back off if he felt the other distancing himself, or tensing in all the wrong ways.

Heavy also assured his Doktor that if he was someone who was not, in fact, agreeable to the whole idea or act of sex (or even just certain parts of it), then he never had to make himself do something for Misha. Heavy owuld not be disappointed, and it was okay.

But Medic, while reassured, always thanked him and said, "It's not that, I will keep trying."

And he did.

Eventually, one evening they proceeded to a phase where heavy petting got out of hand (consensually), and Medic started to lead the action. Heavy deferred, automatically, as they divested of clothing. It was nothing more than the slick slide of skin against skin, and hands clutching what they could as they rode out a climax... but it was a milestone. A turning point, even.

And perhaps their further encounters continued along the same vein for a while; it was sex, of a kind, and they were very content.

Medic enjoyed finding new ways and places to heighten Heavy's enjoyment just from their basic actions. And he did it well.

Occasionally one or the other would try something new, or different, in their encounters. Hands, mouths, other items being involved. It always depended on day, time, mood.

And when they did have what some might naively refer to as 'real sex'; it was not in the manner many might have assumed. Heavy was utterly content to let the doktor be on top, and although they were both a little nervous (as new lovers tend to be in newer, more intimate situations) things did go well.

And the next time, and the time after that Medic felt secure enough to let Heavy take the lead; and so it went, switching back and forth. Heavy encouraging the Doktor to tell him what he liked, and what he wanted.

...Medic became more confident in himelf; on the field and in the bedroom. He was, by no means, a blushing bride to start with of course; but when you have a part of yourself locked down inside, always trying to keep it hidden away... it tends to erode pieces of your personality.

In fact, Medic liked to be in control, for the most part. He liked to wear certain attire, or not, as the situation demanded; he liked to wring delight out of his partner/s until they were satisfied beyond any expectations. He was finally becoming the person he'd always been intended to be; now that shroud of fear hadd been removed.

And Heavy adored it. He had his own style of intimacy, that at times harmonised with Medics; but that did not detract from his enjoyment of the other man's ministrations. Of course, he always made sure to shower Medic with attention, and sometimes wondered if he was doing enough; but the doktor always assured him that as long as Heavy was crying out his name, then the other need do nothing more than enjoy himself.

Occasionally one or the other would bring a new element into the bedroom (or cupboard, store room, ramshackle building in the middle of a CTF map, Engineer's workshop, Scout's room on two occasions, or the ambulance)... and sometimes it stayed, or was rejected offhand.

Just being near one another was electrifying, all-encompassing, safe. Everything else was just a perk.

So no, woobifying Medic as an uke is the wrong way to go about it. But seeing him in a historical context as a man living in fear of his life if someone found out or even suspected he liked more than just women? Definitely.

Fear, Paranoia, self-loathing, being on-guard, it can cause a lot of issues (physiologically and psychosocially) and that takes time to heal. Heavy would definitely understand and be there to help the man feel secure and confident in their interactions.

This has been a random headcanon that explain the only real way I would expect to have a nervous or guarded Medic that needs reassurance in one aspect of his life.
