I personally hc that Elliott's long hair is important to him because it represents doing what he wants to do and not what is expected of him- also it's very pretty but it's more about the Symbolism.

Omg! It’s the Figg anon, and I can’t believe you answered my question!! I love your discourse, and am totally tempted to get a tumble just so we can be discourse besties! Re: new anon house elves post, I agree that it’s inherently problematic to think of any enslaved creature as happy, esp. as that narrative has deep roots in American anti-abolitionist culture. IMO the magic that keeps house elves tied to families is so strong, that IF there was an elf alive at L&J’s death, it would have gone...
to Harry and shown up at Privet drive. I also think the elves are tied to the actual houses and in my HC the potters had a history of marrying HB’s, and their big estate came to them from a HB / non magic origin. Ridiculously twisted hc, I know. New less promblematic discourse topic: have you decided which county Potter Manor is in? (Or where the other MWPP+L hail from?)
--
omg! hello! it makes me so happy that you’re excited to be in the Discourse!! feel free to send an ask any time, always happy to receive them :) and very happy to make discourse besties tyvm!!
also I stan tf out of you rn for that note about American anti-abolitionist culture!! hell yes historical abolition discourse on my blog and contextualizing of literary themes!!!! I completely agree. I didn’t really have ample time this morning to get into the roots of that statement or its implications in that ask, but YUP. I’m with you. and this take on elves being tied to families is super interesting and I really dig your HC - but I also wonder how that would have worked with L+J going into hiding, the eventual hiding of Harry at the Dursley’s...etc. very intriguing though hmmm I could see myself diving into this idea and ending up with, like, a dissertation on Potter elf lore oh NO lmao
ok ALSO - this next question! I love it!! I was actually just talking to someone about how I really like Sophie Skelton for Lily because she has a northern English accent (I think somewhere in between General Northern English and Urban West Yorkshire accent, because she’s from a suburb of Manchester? if someone could correct me I’d be chuffed tysm), and I think it would be really dope if Lily was Northern, especially given the cultural divides between southern and northern England. I think having a Mancunian (or a small suburb of it, given that she’s from Cokeworth) Lily Evans would be a really cool aspect of her background. this would also mean that Snape had to train himself out of any dialectic tendencies toward a northern accent, which I ABSOLUTELY think is something he would do in order to fit in with Pureblood posh culture.
so, I think it’s canon that Sirius is from Islington, London, right? that’s were Grimmauld place is? but I don’t doubt he the family had country homes scattered throughout various counties.
I think James was probably from outside a small, wealthy town like Hertfordshire, where he could grow up with acres of land. I like to think that in such an historic town, there was also a lot of Wizarding history as well.  And I think that GH was a family home that they might have gone too once or twice, given the Peverell history in that area.
ok I have no idea why, but I think that Peter grew up in, like, Thanet LOL. I could see him growing up in Margate but I have absolutely no idea why I think that. Planet Thanet ayyyyy where are my Kent people at??
WOO! I went crazy with this. thanks for asking!! :) x

hey how about hcs for the twins as parents (individually)?
also i’m sorry you’re having a bad day :( i hope you feel better soon!
Holy shit you are one of my favorite blogs I think I can die happy now k bye
By individually, you mean each of them as parents right? That’s what I’m going with and I warn you this is going to be a long one
With this, I’m going off the basis that they didn’t grow up basically one of the riches people in Japan as that generally affects how kids our raised and Money Is Literally Power™ in the business world
If I were to keep them rich, chances are they would be away working more often than not (both twins have stated in canon their parents where rarely home). In most, of no all, shows/anime/cartoons I’ve watched and manga I’ve read regarding high-status wealthy families, the child/children grow up being raised by staff and feel alone or forgotten by their parents. Yes they have money, but money isn’t physical affection humans thrive on.
In my college au idea (that I don’t think I ever posted on here...) I stated the headcanon Hikaru had gotten someone pregnant in college. Ngl, I really think this is something that would happen bc he’s never been one to think before he acts.
As for Kaoru, uhhhh he’s the tougher one to put this together for as I’ve never really thought about it for him. He canonically isn’t straight, so for this headcanon we’ll say he’s bi and had a wife first, then a husband
Hikaru upon finding out:
with his first kid, he was utterly terrified the moment she said the words
He was barely an adult and now he was going to be a father the world was against him
The first person he told was (surprisingly) not Kaoru as they were going through a rough spot and not talking to each other
So Mori was the first person he told. It was on the roof of their dorm building at 3 in the morning 15 minutes after Hikaru texted him saying it was urgent and he needed someone to stop him from doing something utterly stupid bc his head was a rushing mess and he had no idea what to do
When Hikaru finally got his head out of his ass and showed up at Kaoru’s dorm a week later (also at 3am, that’s just when this boy has his breakdowns) he broke down and told Kaoru everything. That they we drunk at a party. It was a one night stand. They honestly never expected to have any ties afterwards. And all that was shoved back in his face
He honestly thought (and he thought long and hard about it) about not being in the kid’s life bc he wasn’t ready to be a father
Kaoru knocked some sense into him, figuratively and literally
“Next time, keep it in your damn pants idiot”
Telling his parents was even harder than telling Kaoru. He just called Hikaru and idiot. His father didn’t talk to him for three days. And his mother was torn between being upset or being excited to be a grandmother
He was terrified
But then he heard the heartbeat for the first time
He will never admit it, but he cried
And the sonogram technician told him the we having a girl
A daughter. He was going to have a daughter
He grew more and more excited and less and less terrified
He could do this
Her water broke 6 weeks early and the doctors tried to stop her labor but she was dilating quickly
No he couldn’t do this. He wasn’t ready
Kaoru actually punched him bc Kaoru tends to knock sense into this idiot more than anyone else
“That woman in there is alone which so many strange people with her and the one person who should be in there with her is out here in the waiting room trying to get his shit together. She’s just as terrified as you are, if not more. So take a moment. Get your shit somewhat together. And get in that delivery room”
The waiting consisted of: His parents, her parents, Kaoru, Tamaki, Haruhi, Kyouya, Honey, Mori, Renge, even Kasanoda was there—everyone was ready to meet Baby Girl Hitachiin
Holding his baby girl for the first time was single handedly the best moment of his life
His second kid was planned, he was married by then
His two kids have different mother’s but Hikaru, first baby mama, and step-mother/second baby mama co-parent like goddamn pros)
Hikaru as a father:
He’s a little immature for the longest time and with his daughter he makes a lot of mistakes
His mother is on speed dial and that woman is a saint when it comes to helping
“She has a rash Mom—no I don’t know what kind of rash! That’s why I calling you—no, I’m not sending pictures this time—because it’s down there Mom—a fucking diaper rash?”
He has very little experience and boy does this guy need lots of help
Parenting books, the internet, his mother—he’s using every goddamn resource he can find
Haruhi actually offered to watch his daughter literally any time he needed a babysitter—which brought on many long discussion between the two of them about kids
At one point, Hikaru made in offhand comment to Tamaki about their (Tamaki and Haruhi) future with kids and Haruhi about died on the spot
His kids are 6 yrs apart
By the time his son was born, Hikaru knew what the hell he was doing and totally had everything figured out
quit laughing Kaoru he’s trying his best
His son was named after Kaoru
The differences between how Hikaru raised his kids really show sometimes
With his daughter, he let her get away with a lot more than he should have growing up, he was very lenient and he didn’t quite understand parents aren’t supposed to be their kids’ best friend so she basically got anything she wanted for a long time and that was a hard habit to break for both Hikaru and his daughter
(and considering she was the first kid and between all the hosts and the first grandchild in the family, she was spoiled a lot)
With his son, as his son grew up in a two-parent home with his older sister being at her mom’s 50% of the time, he tried being more strict—he learn his lesson letting his first kid having whatever she wanted—although it was hard as he and his wife weren’t always on the same page when it came to disciplining their son
Hikaru and his wife discussed having another kid, but 2 ended up being plenty (even if the oldest was back and forth between Hikaru and her mother and only spent half the time and every other holiday/birthday with him)
He really is trying his best tho and all he hopes is that his children grow up knowing that
Kaoru upon finding out:
Unlike Hikaru, Kaoru was married for several years before his first kid
They actually tried for a little over 2 yrs to get pregnant with no luck for the longest time—he was beginning to think something was wrong—until Hikaru told him his wife was pregnant, then Kaoru’s wife found out she was pregnant (they were born 3 weeks apart)
Kaoru was super exited for have his first kid
After all, he had all that practice with his niece and his little sister (who was born as they began college)
In all honested, Kaoru was physically and financially prepared for parenthood (buuuut probably not mentally)
His first kid was a boy born at 2 in the morning after 36 hrs of labor, he was exhausted, his wife was exhausted, everyone was getting cranky and Hikaru’s first baby mama made labor look easy and Kaoru was not expecting it to be so bad—or that his wife had such a strong grip on his poor hand—but hot damn holding his son for the first time made everything worth it
I don’t have anything else to add here my brain hurts
Kaoru as a father:
Respectively, Kaoru had more experience with raising kids than his brother did (and he learned a lot from his brother’s mistakes)
Although with all his previous experiences, nothing prepared Kaoru for actually parenthood—it was nothing like watching his niece and little sister
He worked nights for a while so someone would be home with the baby
He didn’t want his son in any kind of childcare facility—nothing against them he swears, he just doesn’t like the idea of someone else taking care of his kid that he doesn’t know
Kaoru and his wife started having problems when their son was around 1-1&1/2yo, but trying staying together for their son’s sake. They ended up  divorcing when their son was 5 after Kaoru had fallen out of love with her
Co-parenting wasn’t as easy with Kaoru and his ex-wife as Hikaru and his baby mama made it look (damn Hikaru had to be a pro at this point)
He didn’t get to see his son a lot after the divorce as his ex-wife had custody.
This killed Kaoru. All he wanted was to be there for his son. He grew up with his parents working a lot and being away and he swore he would never let his kid grow up without him around. He ended up only getting his son every other holiday/birthday and during breaks from school
Kaoru treasured every minute of it
Kaoru remarried a few years later and his husband treated his son like he was his own kid any time they had his son
They ended up adopting a little girl (about the time his son was 7 or 8) and a little boy a few years later
Kaoru didn’t really have the best relationship with his oldest until he was in his mid-teens
I know I didn’t stay exactly on task here and I kinda went off and stated headcanons based around their lives as parents rather than how they are as parents and I apologized for that. This was very fun to write for and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for the ask! Sorry it was so long, I’ve been working on this literally since the ask hit my inbox...

So we’ve got Regina’s group, but what about Mors’? Who is his Advisor/Hand (Weskham)? His Sword (Cor)? (Hadrian is his Shield (Clarus) and Vita his Consort/Heart (Titus)) I don’t think Ardyn, Sylva, and Cid would have counterparts, given that they aren’t really Regina’s subordinates/retainers? But you COULD come up with counterparts I suppose - the Elder/Scholar, the Ally, the Inventor/Creator. And what are the Flame types of Mors and Co (I hc Hadrian and the Amicitia’s are generally Storms)?
*deep breath*
darn it a-world-in-grey you made me create a REALLY INTERESTING OC FOR THIS. BECAUSE I HADN’T THOUGHT ABOUT WHO HIS HAND AND SWORD WERE BEFORE NOW BUT NOW I HAVE AND NHGFDFGHGFD-
ALRIGHT BUCKLE UP IMMA RAMBLE.
You’re right, Mors never had an Ardyn, Sylva, or Cid counterpart, though he was on fairly good terms with the Oracle of his time. So, starting with the easy ones/Flame types-
Mors - Sky. Not ... not a very nice Sky mind you, but I HC that he WAS a Sky, a dedicated and clever Sky that inspired loyalty despite his “necessary cruelties”. Sorta like Nono and Luce in KHR, but like- more competent and scary. Still not a good person, and nowhere near as powerful as Regina magic-wise, but a Sky nonetheless.
Hadrian Amicitia - Storm. Inverted, probably, and you’re right I think most Amicitias are generally Storms or a Storm-mix. Hadrian is only a year older than Mors so they grew up together, and of all of them Hadrian is arguably the most instinctively loyal, has been basking in Mors magic the longest.
Vita - Rain. Very gentle Classic Rain and not to sound like a stereotypical sap but this woman was like- 80% of Mors kindness and moral restraint from the day they met to the day she died. If Vita had been around when Cor “Murder Child” Leonis got himself recruited into the Crownsguard, she would have convinced Mors to either kick him right back out or put the boy on the Reserve forces until he was of proper age, prodigy or no prodigy (or possibly, as a last resort if Mors was being stubborn, claimed Cor as a bodyguard herself, because she usually doesn’t leave the Citadel and would have had the chance to Properly Mother This Boy under the guise of taking care of her fearless bodyguard). They were an arranged marriage and knew that fact since they Mors was 18 and Vita was 12, but came to love each other anyway as they grew up and then later were married. Basically Mors only real soft spot was perfectly Vita shaped and after she was gone everyone suffered.
Ventus Scientia - Not Ignis’s grandad but rather his granduncle. Very, very much a Mist. Was born the same year Mors was so he was also raised alongside Mors from a young age. All the Scientia genius honed into a very logical, pragmatic edge without anywhere near the mothering and natural kindness Ignis shows. Should have been the one to call Mors on his more outrageous behavior, but instead just guided Mors into being sneaky about it behaviors instead (”A King serves the greater good of his kingdom” is not a phrase Mors came up with, that was from Ventus, trying to channel Mors more manipulative tendencies into something productive and beneficial).
And now my official new favorite of this impromptu cast-
Bellica Argentum - Inverted Lightning like WHOO. Plus a very, very interesting backstory. Like- Officially, Bellica was hired as Mors secretary after the last one turned out to be an assassin from Niflheim. Officially, she was just an ordinary, pretty Lucian citizen who worked her way through college and landed a lucky break by getting an interview to be Mors new secretary. Was generally regarded by outside viewers as Mors personal mistress/toy for when he was on the road and away from his wife Vita, since she was occasionally seen leaving Mors rooms at various late hours of the night.
Everything official is a LIE. Mors never had a Sword like Cor, Mors had a silver dagger and he won her in one of the craziest ways imaginable. Lemme tell you what UNOFFICIALLY happened:
-Unofficially, Bellica Argentum was originally neither Bellica, nor Argentum, but rather Imperial Agent 516 of Besithia stock. Unofficially when she was young and pretty and an up and coming agent, they gave her a disguise and a new, non-Argentum codename and sent her off to try to assassinate Crown Prince Mors, which she decided to accomplish by becoming his secretary first. Unofficially she served under him for just under a year before he finally started to treat her like something other than mobile, paper-signing furniture and instead began to watch her with half-lidded, curious, greedy eyes. Unofficially, she took that chance and rolled with it, letting herself be seduced by Prince Mors, lured into his bedchamber, and then trying to stab him.
-This didn’t work. Because he had known for months that she was actually a Nif agent and had gotten tired of waiting for her to try something, so instead he had BAITED her into trying something.
-If it hadn’t been for Hadrian hiding in the walk-in closet and Ventus running in with a hi-elixir, she would have succeeded anyway.
-Pinned in place by a furious Hadrian, she fully expects to be brutally killed. Or interrogated and then brutally killed. She is an assassin after the Crown Prince after all, and she has failed.
-Instead, Mors sits up, shifts clear of the pool of (his) blood, crouches down in front of her with glittering silver eyes that were just as fascinated and greedy as they’d been when he’d been “seducing her”, and SMILES.
-“You’re amazing,” he tells her, “truly amazing. I knew exactly what you were and were going to try and you still almost killed me.” Hadrian growls angrily at the reminder and Mors waves his protest away. The woman who will someday be known as Bellica Argentum feels ... something coil around her soul. Poking and prodding and CALLING in a way that makes her shudder (the trainers had never trained her for this. They’d never said LC magic could weave through her very being like this).
-Mors tilts his head, suddenly very, very inhuman, his silver eyes gleaming, his torso still covered in drying blood from where she’d stabbed him about five times, “What would it take,” he murmurs, deep and dark and coaxing, “for you to be mine for real?” He leans in, magic curling more tightly around her heart and soul and throat as he purrs, “What could I give you, to make you loyal to me and me alone. Not to Niflheim, not to Lucis, but to me?”
-It’s not a question she should answer. It’s not one that’s supposed to have an answer at all. She’s supposed to be LOYAL to Niflheim, she’s been raised to be an agent since almost before she could remember. But- but she does remember. And there is something she WANTS more than anything else. Something that Mors magic teases out of her soul and past her clenched teeth, something she spits in his face because she is sure he will mock her for it before he kills her.
-“Family,” she spits, “Children of my own, to raise as civilians. Children who will never have to know my scars, who will grow up happy and free rather than stolen away to be tools in a never-ending war. A husband who will care for them and not ask questions of me, an old age I can spend as a grandmother, doting on the little ones that come after.”
-And Mors smiles, sharp and satisfied, “I can do that,” he purrs, runs his knuckles down the side of her cheek and tucks some of her tousled hair behind one ear, “I can give you that. I will give you a husband who will ask no questions, I will bury your past so that it cannot touch your children, I will let you retire to be a grandmother who dotes on her little ones until you are ancient and white-haired and death takes you in your sleep. I will give you a future,” he whispers, deep and silky, magic tugging and curling around her possessively as his fingers drift down to brush the hollow of her throat, “and I will ensure that no man or woman, Lucian or Niflheim, ever thinks for a moment that your children are anything more than wealthy, upstanding citizens of Insomnia, born of a wealthy and upstanding Insomnian couple.”
-“All you have to do, little dagger. Is be mine. My assassin, my liar, my silver knife in the shadows until the age of your retirement comes and I let you go to your reward. How old are you- twenty, right? Give me your complete loyalty, and the next fifteen years of your life, and I will give you everything you desire.”
-It’s a daemon’s deal. But she WANTS and she knows the alternative is a brutal death. She says yes, feels something inside her JERK into place, feels heavy magic curl and settle next to her heart like a claim and a warning all in one. Mors laughs and Ventus and Hadrian both sigh.
-Mors names her Bellica Argentum, and she spends the next fifteen years of her life as his secretary and his best, most prized, and unendingly loyal assassin. The next fifteen years of her life are stained in blood at Mors’ command, with Mors’ magic a second heartbeat and promise and warning all at once in her chest that drives her on-on-on. Twelve years in and Mors introduces her to a wealthy, non-noble citizen of Insomnia, a kind, ordinary man with some business ties to the Citadel (a tailor perhaps, or the merchant who supplies the tailors with their silks). An ordinary, gentle man that Bellica has no trouble convincing to marry her.
-Thirty-five years old, fifteen years after that night to the day, and Mors stops asking her to take on assassination missions, treats her only as the favored secretary her cover story says she is, pays her as richly as ever and congratulates her on her first pregnancy with genuine warmth in his silver-edged eyes. Her children grow up civilian and successful, happy and free and oblivious to their mother’s past, or the fate that would have awaited them in Niflheim (shuffled off into one military position or another for the Glory of the Empire, trained as weapons and sacrificed as broken tools).
-She is old and silvering when her eldest son and his wife come to her and shyly introduce their child, an adopted little one they carefully do not say was given to them by one Cor Leonis because their family are trusted as the descendants of Mors favored secretary (she already knows, she may be retired but she still has contacts, and they tell her everything). She is old, but her sight is still keen, and she sees the blond hair and pale blue eyes, the little freckles as he grows and his unnaturally keen hand-eye coordination, his obsessive attention to detail that manifests in his love of photography.
-Besithia stock, she knows. She was just like that herself at his age.
-She supports and loves him until the day she passes on in her sleep, regrets only that her eldest son and his wife are so busy all the time that Prompto will surely be lonely without her there and with her other children living in Lestallum and Accordo, fulfilling their dreams but distanced from their eldest sibling who was content to take over his father’s business. But ... that will be alright. She has seen the way Prompto is exercising and driving himself to get fit now, heard him shyly ask her what the royal family was like, and how to befriend a Prince.
-He is Besithia stock. But he is also Argentum. And like her, the first Argentum, he will find his Lucis Caelum prince, and he will give everything to that prince in return for his heart’s greatest desire.
-Not a bad way for the story to end, in the mind of an assassin who wanted only to be a mother and grandmother.

you asked for it kiddo... do you have any la squadra backstory hc's? (i saw it in one of your tags don't try and hide it 👀)
oHHHHH!!!!!! THANK YOU- this got pretty long jhhhhhggh,,,, and also!! some of these are very heavily influenced by stuff i’ve seen in the fandom, although a majority of these are my own!
(Content warning though, this gets pretty heavy- i’m going to be talking about death, miscarriages, illnesses, injury, neglect and csa in this one. Tagged and under a cut to be safe.)
RISOTTO NERO
No one would believe you if you told them, but Polpo is his father. If the eyes didn’t give it away, Polpo’s old pictures (if you manage to get a hold of them, that is) most definitely will. No one knows how Polpo ended up looking like that now, but in his younger days, around the same age as Risotto, he looked pretty much exactly like him.
He’s not aware of his biological mother, but he knows she’s a stand user from Egypt, who utilizes magnetism.
Risotto was adopted by a Sicilian family, and was raised without knowledge of his connections to the mafia, or stands. It was not until he began killing at age 18 that he began to look more into who his real parents were.
He doesn’t resent his adoptive parents- his adoptive father was a carpenter, who raised Risotto to be well-versed in carpentry as well, and his adoptive mother was a seamstress. He had an adoptive older sister, and of course, his little cousin who came over so often he practically lived with them. His family isn’t perfect, of course- his father is too strict, his mother too troubled, and his sister was too distant. Thinking about it now as an adult, he couldn’t blame them for being like that. His mother’s miscarriage probably weighed on the family too.
He was always the quiet brooding type. As a child, his quiet inclinations were regarded as him being shy. When he reached into adolescence and began forming opinions of his own, Risotto was then given the “quiet and serious” adage under his name. He’d always been the type to lead and act according to what he believes is right, after all. That being said, however, he operates under his own judgement and experiences, and the same can still be said about him even after so long. His general distrust of authority began showing itself in his adolescence, as well.
Sometimes, Risotto feels a tug in his heart, begging him to come home in their little house in Sicily, and visit his family once more. He painstakingly ignores this, and carries on. He does keep tabs on them however, and the knowledge that they’re safe and sound is enough to carry him on.
He joined Passione at 21 years old, around the same time he awoke his stand. He used to be of equal footing to Sorbet and Gelato, who at the time were both under a different capo. He broke apart from the gang to form his own, having decided that assassination was the best application for his skills after being involved in one of two many murders that were considered “overkill”, even for the mafia.
FORMAGGIO
Formaggio came from an average to low income family. His family was big, too- he had a mother, a father, two older sisters, and three younger sisters. As the only son, he was depended on for a lot of things, and often had to fill in for the father that his little sisters are clearly missing, by being the best older brother he could be. Obviously not by his own volition- he’d very much just relax and enjoy his teenage years, thank you very much- but he’s smart enough to know that his sisters deserve someone to guide them in their early years.
He’s always been street-smart, having dropped out of school just after he finished 7th grade to work. Home life was rather bleak- his father wasn’t home often, but when he was, he was always drunk and would go and beat his mother and his older sisters. This eventually stopped when their father died of liver cancer. Formaggio’s never been religious, but he felt overwhelmed enough to thank whoever was responsible for it.
He committed his first murder when he walked in on one of his elder sisters getting beaten by her husband. Formaggio at the time lived with her, and with two of his little sisters in tow. His other elder sister lived with his mom, along with his other little sister. Thankfully enough, the children were not there to witness either of the abuse or the murder. This had Formaggio contemplating a lot of other things, and soon, he succumbed to the bleak, and harsh criminal underbelly of Italy. He was recruited a year later by Risotto.
Just to establish my last point- Formaggio is actually only one year younger than Risotto- which makes him older than everybody else save for Sorbet. No one else but Risotto, Sorbet and Gelato believe this.
ILLUSO
Came from a well-off, but not wealthy, family. He had an older brother and an older sister, and while their parents weren’t always present due to work, they made sure they were there when public appearances were necessary. He’d always been distant with everybody except for his elder sister, who would care for him to the best of her ability despite being frail and sickly.
Illuso always had a fascination with observing behind the scenes. Being quiet and often overlooked, he grew accustomed to being alone. That doesn’t mean he didn’t sneak off to spy on other people’s conversations he probably shouldn’t be listening to in the first place.
He knew something was bound to come out of those late night meetings where his father would come home tipsy and infuriated about something. Soon enough, his suspicions were confirmed. His father had lost everything to his gambling addiction, and with it came the family’s already estranged relations with one another. The final straw was when his sister died.
Illuso, having lost all motivation to keep living in such a life, left home. He figured, he’d always been alone, anyway. What’s a couple of years in the streets gonna do to him? With his natural intuition and general sneaky tendencies, his skills proved important out in the world, where the rule was survival of the fittest.
He was found by a capo, and drafted into the Intel Team after he’d been shot by the arrow by accident. He was a key member until he was reassigned to La Squadra due to a sudden influx of newcomers in the mob.
Admittedly enough, his origins have made him somewhat sympathetic to Fugo, although he’d never admit it.
PROSCIUTTO
Prosciutto was born from an American-Italian family, and was totally a private school kid. He was raised in the States for a while until his 15th birthday, where he travelled with his grandfather from the US to Italy. His family was distant and secretive, but he definitely knew they had ties to something very, very illegal. His mother was sickly and stayed at home, seeing doctors more than she saw her own sons; and their father was never around. Despite the luxury they were raised in, he and Pesci were all they really had.
He might’ve not noticed it when he was young, but he was trained and educated exactly where they wanted him to– to eventually take over the family business when he was old enough. His grandfather was incredibly supportive of this, and when Prosciutto started showing signs that he had tremendous potential to become the head of the famiglia.
When he travelled from the US to Italy, this was his first introduction to the bleak life his grandfather led. He committed his first murder at 16, all curated and taken care of by the mafia. It was certainly a bit much, but Prosciutto showed commitment to his grandfather’s will for him.
He joined Passione at 20 years old, after his famiglia’s territory was taken over by Passione. Some of his men survived, while some were not so lucky. He was officially drafted into the Hitman Team shortly after Formaggio was.
PESCI
Him and Prosciutto are actually full brothers. Him and Prosciutto were private school kids, and while Prosciutto aced all his classes, Pesci was content receiving  average marks. He truly excelled in choir and in theater, however, and in turn made his mother incredibly proud of him. She would always come to his recitals whenever he performed, main role or not, despite how sickly she was.
Pesci didn’t bother with their dad- Fra says not to. And while was not close to his own grandfather like Prosciutto was, he was incredibly close to his uncle. While he had his suspicions about the true source of their family’s ludicrous wealth, his uncle always made sure to spend time with Pesci, taking him out swimming and fishing and all that. His uncle made sure he had a childhood- too concerned with Pesci being drafted into their dangerous lifestyle too early like Prosciutto was.
When Prosciutto left for Italy, Pesci stayed behind for a while, as he was only 12 when his brother went. He caught wind of his brother’s untimely fate of joining the mafia when he was 17, and it goes without saying that Pesci was heartbroken. He then ultimately made it his goal to find him and be reunited once more.
Pesci was drafted into Passione at age 20, but became a part of the Hitman Team at 21, after a particularly intense argument with Prosciutto.
MELONE
Melone was born in Switzerland, but he moved to Italy when he was around 10 years old. His parents were doctors who were constantly away due to their job, and while he had no other siblings, his parents made sure he had everything he could ever want. From toys to new clothes to books, he was very much spoiled. Perhaps it was to compensate for the fact that while he attained a lot of academic achievements, his parents remained absent. They were very proud of him, however, as he’d proven himself to be nothing short of a genius at a very young age. He was polite, and spoke well with elders. He generally got along with his peers, although they did find him odd and intimidating at times.
When he was in his teens, he begun to seek out partners. Perhaps due to his own curiosity, he saw too much a little too soon. This was also when he’d killed his uncle in a fit of rage, after he’d tried to assault Melone. This was when his genius turned into a maddening hunger for knowledge. It goes without saying that Melone experimented on his uncle’s corpse, and a bunch of other laboratory samples.
When he dropped out of university, he begun to sell information about his research in shady places online. He was drafted into Passione when a capo took note of his rather… interesting discoveries about reproduction and genetics, and figured his abilities could prove useful.
He became part of the Hitman Team shortly after Illuso joined.
GHIACCIO
Ghiaccio was born in Korea, but moved in his pre-teen years after his parents were offered work in Italy. He had an older sister whom he idolized, and initially was his reason for pursuing ice skating in the first place. Their parents were never the most outwardly affectionate, towards each other and their children, but Ghiaccio’s older sister always made sure he knew how much she loved him.
His interest in linguistics were sparked by his parents, who were interpreters. He never really cared much for it when he was really young, but when he began to turn his attention to books instead of his peers who would often cast him out, he found out he was a natural at picking up different languages and its quirks.
He started seriously skating when he was 10 years old, and would always beg his sister to come with him. She humoured him, being a skater herself. Ghiaccio has very fond memories of those winter mornings when him and his sister would sneak out of the house to go find a lake frozen over, and skate for a few hours, forgetting all their troubles. He started competing at age 13, and won his first gold medal at 14. He proved to be a prodigy in ice skating.
Due to his peers casting him out and emotional neglect from his parents, his characteristic anger issues began manifesting. They started showing more violently out of humiliation and hatred for himself when he injured himself during a performance. He begun to shut others out, only ever reacting in anger and annoyance. His anger issues got worse when his older sister was injured just before one of her performances, and out of anger, he took off and killed the person who had orchestrated her injury.
Knowing he could never return to his old life after this, he set off and took his anger out on a random group of strangers at a bar who pissed him off too much at the moment, the alcohol in his system amplifying the anger and shame he felt. He was found by Sorbet and Gelato, who recommended him to Risotto. He became part of the Hitman Team shortly before Pesci joined.

amélie guillard moreau -- revised backstory given the new info.
amélie guillard was born february 21st, 2043 in annecy, haute savoie, rhône-alpes france to lèonard guillard and marie-laure moreau, the first and only child of the couple. her father was extremely wealthy, a french politician and the eldest of the guillard sons, and had inherited the family’s château -- a massive settlement located in the middle of lake annecy. with ties to the corrupt french government, frequently visiting paris for business negotiations in the wake of the omnic crisis, it came to light that france, much like the united kingdom, was denying omnics much of the basic fundamental rights they were to be granted, causing major cities like paris, marseille, and lyon to become engulfed in turmoil. many french citizens, terrified in the aftermath of the omnic crisis, were hesitant to grant omnics their rights, causing discrimination and separation to break out in waves across the country, in some aspects worse than the united kingdom -- the worst of this discrimination found in the capital, paris. the french government consistently contributed to these sentiments, revealing itself to be corrupt, and whilst the economy of france continued to suffer, as did many of its citizens. those who inherited wealth, such as lèonard, were not affected by this -- in fact, lèonard’s contribution to the french government’s treatment of omnics exempted him from much of what was going on in post-war france.
amélie’s mother, on the other hand, did not come from money. she was from marseille, france’s second biggest city, which had taken perhaps the biggest of hits from the omnic crisis. marseille, in the wake of the crisis, shrunk dramatically in its population. the harbors became polluted, holiday-goers abandoned it in favor of the côte d’azur, which had remained largely untouched by the conflict -- the city, known for its destruction in the crisis, lost much of its appeal. thus, in the aftermath, marseille, empty and hurting severely due to the economy, was one of the biggest targets of reconstruction for the french government, as losing marseille as a major port city was damaging the country even further. the goal was to focus on attracting tourists and residents back to its shores, as well as cleaning the valuable harbor that had been left in such bad shape from the battle that occurred there. in marseille, omnics and humans lived in equally appalling conditions. growing up in an environment where she lived in similar quarters to the omnics that were shunned in major cities like paris, marie-laure was raised with no perception that she, a human, was any better. she later grew to be a staunch advocate for omnic rights.
she met leonard on one of his many visits to the city of marseille when she was in her mid-twenties -- at this time period, the french government was not revealed to be so corrupt to its citizens, with marie-laure largely unaware of much of what was happening in paris. leonard seemed to express distaste for the harsh and inhumane treatment of omnics, a sentiment that marie-laure strongly agreed with at a time when the controversy was rising. the two grew close, marie-laure even accompanying him on trips across france to help rebuild her country in the aftermath of the crisis, standing by her husband’s side even when french politics began to become blurred and not so clear. he was wealthy, she knew, but marie-laure did not marry him for the money. she had hopes that she could persuade him to help the french government to ease the tensions between humans and omnics, a conflict, she later found out, that was being carried out purposely by the french government as per an agenda to help boost the strength of the country -- in the event that a second crisis were to occur. horrified by her husband’s participation in this conflict, she left him, taking their only daughter, amélie, with her.
marie-laure raised amélie in a small and humble home in the commune of fuveau, located not too far from marseille and aix-en-provence. amélie did have to visit her father’s château semi-regularly, as per the agreement -- she would take the train up to lyon, where he’d pick her up and drive her back to annecy, whenever agreed upon. shocked at the difference between her mother’s home and her father’s, amélie staunchly refused any money her father were to offer her, unless he were to give some to her mother. although amélie could have lived a life with a lot of money and a huge home, she refused it, choosing to stay with her mother in fuveau.
from here, amélie’s story remains much of the same as i had it prior ( see my hc tag for me to explain it more in detail! ) -- she left her hometown for paris after passing le bac and graduating lycée, to pursue ballet and teach young children. after meeting and falling in love with gérard lacroix, amélie moved with him to zürich, switzerland, abandoning all she had previously known in france. later, upon becoming widowmaker, she was still assigned to take out her parents as her second and third targets, but upon killing leonard, widowmaker took both his wealth and the château of the guillard family and turned it into her own base, from which she could carry out and operate missions from within unsuspected. although widowmaker lives in nice, she carries out many of her work obligations from château guillard in lake annecy, primarily using it as a hideout when on the run from foreign law enforcement -- as well as the french government.
