-shoutout for annabeth and hephaestus-that scene made me honest to god cry, annabeths determination to help percy, and the fact hephaestus SAW that genuine love in her that SHE doesn’t even realize and helped them?? i was gagged

10/10 for me personally i am amazed at walker and leah’s acting skills!

GUYS, LOOK! My gf @copypastus printed my favorite ACOTAR fanfic for our anniversary! A Court of Lies and Resurrection by @ashintheairlikesnow! It's made to look like the original paperbacks in style and appearance, same font and everything. They didn't have the embossing or quite the same format at the printing place, but the cover text is shiny and other than that it's fitting in perfectly. It's freaking AMAZING (like the fanfic deserves, it's seriously so good you guys).

Is anyone else simultaneously really excited and really scared about Season 3? Like, Season 2 was incredible, but it is also legitimately hard for me to rewatch at points, and I expect Season 3 to be even more intense.

Things I either know or think will happen that will destroy me include:

- Siuan and our other friends at the Tower dealing with the fallout from Cairhien. Everything about this. The political and the personal. I can barely even *think* about it, but I’m supposed to watch it??

- Moiraine finding out some of what the future holds for her as if babygirl didn’t already go through it last season.

- Lan and Moiraine. Above points apply.

- Mat’s arc really kicking off when he gets [redacted]. Donal Finn has completely won me over on sad puppy Mat and I just want him to be goofy and happy and get some therapy, not have to face the end of the world.

- Basically anything to do with Morgase if she appears this season. With the show’s ability to give the middle aged women so much depth of character, and with the way I already feel about her arc in the books, I am very scared of how much the show is going to make me feel about her! And her and Elayne’s relationship, which I fully expect to be more fleshed out than it is in the books.

During the effect of the acid the first thing she does is call Cam to tell her she can't go to dinner🥺 and then spontaneously listen to "A Strange Day by The Cure" in a catharsis of emotions that well the song is too…dark and fits perfectly with what Becca is feeling (that her brother drowned on the beach) something that speaks a lot in the lyrics of the song having reference to suicide (well i always thought that), to the end of His world (as I remember and understand). Maybe we gonna know a bit more of her tragedy... I don't know what you guys think?, the truth is that this moment really broke me.💔💔💔

What’s interesting/disturbing about Li Lun’s power is that it seems to twist the memories of the people infected. Our bluebird girl first tells the team how she’s been trapped inside the village with the plague cutie… that they are natural enemies… and she only wants her freedom back. What’s horrible is that she says this in front of the plague cutie… who now has to recontextualize their relationship under this negative spin… and almost immediately kills himself, as if in despair of his one sided love. But later we find out this was not the real story… that in fact they were friends/lovers and she willingly gave up her freedom to keep him company in his prison. Until she became corrupted by Li Lun’s influence and turned on him, shutting him out and becoming resentful towards him.

I don’t know ya’ll… it was already a sweet, pitiful story. But it’s just so freaking sad that he died not realizing she’d been manipulated by evil… and that she can only dream of him, knowing it’s not real but too grieved to try to live without him…
