im mostly talking about reader who wants to save all of humanity from despicable curses but is too scared. they know its normal to be scared, why wouldnt you be? no matter what the power scale is. how come theres people like suguru—someone who wants to protect all of mankind—next to you?

'im no hero', you tell yourself. youre more focused on saving the people dearest to you, people close to you. heroes are supposed to focus on protecting humanity with all they got, so how come you can only move if the people you love is in danger?

how much worse if you dont have anyone left but your friend?

suguru, his beautiful black hair down and sat upon his shoulders, has his back leaned forward. hes focused on you. you know what he's thinking? how fucking pretty you are.

youre contemplating, stuck in a thick space of self-loathing, yet he can't help but think of how beautiful you are. youre caring and honest while you think of how bad you must be in his eyes.

sure, you may be scared. terrified. fuck, many would think youre selfish, knowing you would give up the lives of thousands just to save one. but you understand how it feels to love and care as deep as him. he would crumble this country for you. just say the word.

suguru wants to press your cheek against his hand and bring you close so he could kiss those harmful thoughts away. you are no villain and he is no wretched man.

maybe youre both just two troubled people who cant stand watching the people they care about get hurt.
