So I just got out of the mental hospital here after a proper suicide attempt. I feel so fragile and raw right now, but it was actually a good experience this time like the last. I’m still fluctuating between MANIC AS SHIT and middling, but a lot of the psychological issues were addressed and some trauma got processed. Plus all the other patients and staff were incredibly supportive and everyone listened well. I’m still trying to sort my meds but I feel tentatively optimistic about the future. Enough to keep going and stop beating myself up all the time. I feel like I’ve learned better ways to deal with the toxic and bad influences in my life. I’m learning to deal with my anxiety with self harming or drinking. I still don’t know how to handle the bipolar besides meds that’s sometimes work, but I’m gonna switch doctors to someone who actually is bipolar and gets it. I’m trying to get a clean slate and be positive and take care of myself properly. So I decided to start going by my middle name. My former name was too heavy and while I do plan on dealing with her issues, I need to have a new place to start. One of my therapist called it a Phoenix from the ashes, haha. Anyway. Shits been craaaaaaaaaaazy lately and I still feel soft, but I’m working on being better.
