Scenes/Things in Supernatural that genuinely don't make sense to me if Dean was straight:
The confession booth scene.
Sam just rolling with the fact that Dean's siren is a guy while still thinking sirens infect people through sex.
Dean being flustered by several men: Gunner Lawless, Aaron, Doctor Sexy, etc.
All the parallels between Destiel and other couples. (A big one being "last night on Earth" bc how do you do that accidentally.)
Having all the gay jokes be on Dean instead of Sam.
Paralleling Sam meeting his childhood celebrity crush with Dean meeting Gunner Lawless.
The boner Dean got when Cas cleaned up.
Dean gulping after Cas does an impression from a Western movie.
Charlie, a lesbian, calling Castiel "dreamy."
The way Mary looks at Dean and Cas when they hug.
Dean wondering why everyone assumes he's gay, while Sam not caring.
The logic that Charlie can't flirt with guys because she's only attracted to women, but then having Dean flirt with the guy for her.
Dean seeming disappointed when learning that Aaron's flirting was fake.
The amount of time Dean and Cas spend staring at each other.
Dean canonically having an orgy with Crowley.
A woman saying that she knows when someone's pining for someone else to Dean, just for us to learn that Dean was never in love with Amara.
The set design and script choices that lead to a cross in the background while Dean said "I do." to Cas after he came back to life.
That time when Dean wanted to say something and Cas was like, "It's okay, I heard your prayer." But Dean still looked like he wanted to say something important.
Amara: [about Dean] "I can see inside your heart. Feel the love you feel. Except, it’s cloaked in shame.”
If you want to have a more expansive list, @destiel-is-real-idgaf added to this one quite nicely.

Whilst overall I prefer the manga to the anime, there's one aspect that I think the anime does better - the very ending.
Tumblr media
Compared to the manga's very compactly shown thoughts of the cast, the anime gives each of them a short scene.

But although that change already is great, what matters to me the most, is this added scene of Saiko.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Despite it being so short, it feels so fitting and important to Saiko's character, making its absence in the original seem wrong. (They also added Rifuta, though comparatively, her scene isn't so significant.)

Been rewatching the early Marvel movies and apparently this is the time of my life where I just get re-obsessed with characters I love so here's some random thoughts about Loki/Thor the Dark World:
Why. In the world. In the universe. Did Odin not ask Loki ANY questions when Loki was brought before him for judgement in Dark World? Like, at the BAREST MINIMUM he should have asked where Loki got an ARMY, the last time he'd seen Loki was when Loki fell off the Bifrost and then he vanished for a year and showed back up with the glowstick of destiny and an army that Thor says "are not of Asgard or any world known". ODIN. WHY ARE YOU NOT ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS?!
Like, we are aware that Odin is. partial to giving his kids harsh punishments. He obviously doesn't care about Loki's motives. Like, a good parent would look at their kid who disappeared for a year and then came back insane and be like "hey so what happened to you when you disappeared? you didn't get captured by a super powerful being and tortured into submission did you?" (Thanos tortured Loki I have SOURCES and I WILL cite them upon request) But even a bad parent who was a decent king would wonder how their kid suddenly got an ARMY out of NOWHERE and yet Odin never questions this at all. Even Thor in Avengers at least asks Loki "Who showed you this power? Who controls the would-be king?" (which just shows Thor would honestly be a better king than Odin tbh) but Odin is just like "nah this is not important. imprisoning my son for life and telling him how worthless I think he is is more important in this moment."
I wonder if she'd had more time if maybe Frigga would have been able to get Loki to tell her what happened and if maybe that was part of her goal of visiting him (beyond just, you know, actually being a decent parent who cares about her child and wanting to keep him company) because we know she's clever (she's smarter than Odin good gravy, is there like an age difference between them is he going senile or something) so PERHAPS she thought if she talked to Loki she could puzzle out what had happened to him and find out if there was, you know, a potential universal threat Asgard should be aware of. And like, if she had found out anything what was Odin going to say? He can't actually punish his wife in any meaningful way (lol imagine he tries and she just grabs her two grown sons and leaves, help xD) especially if she found out IMPORTANT INFORMATION that he SHOULD have discovered on his own.
This does kind of highlight an underlying problem with Odin, where he seems to think that Asgard is invincible and is, well, lazy about defending it. Like, I've seen posts about how Loki letting the Frost Giants into Asgard in the first movie is actually him not just showing that Thor is not ready to be king, but also demonstrating that Asgard has dangerous holes in its defenses. Because yeah, Loki can HIDE HIMSELF FROM HEIMDALL and sneak into Asgard. Heck, he can sneak OTHERS into Asgard while he's not even WITH them. That- that is a security threat, because if anyone BESIDES Loki could do that then Asgard could easily be invaded and- wait a second, that happens in The Dark World! The Dark Elves hide themselves from Heimdall and sneak an invasion force into Asgard! Destroying it's defenses and KILLING ITS QUEEN. Like, my goodness, do you think Loki is the only person with these abilities? Are you even trying Odin? At all?
TLDR; Odin is an idiot for not questioning Loki about the Chitauri/where he was for a year between Thor and Avengers, not to mention an awful father and an incompetent king.

So how did two wheelchair users going to a cafe result in the police being called on a guy we’d never met?
I’d gone to the city to visit a friend and she invited me to a bougie new hot chocolate place that had opened. Both of us are wheelchair users – I use a big power chair and she uses a lightweight manual chair.
Getting in is a bit of a challenge because I misjudged the threshold going in and got stuck on my first attempt. So already people are staring, but that’s just part of life in a chair.
I figure out the ordering system and order a fancy drink (dark chocolate with cinnamon and cardamom) and my friend does the same. We are given tickets with numbers that will get called. So far so good.
Unfortunately it’s a bit tight for space and fairly busy. There’s no way that I’m going to be able to get my chair to the counter so my friend says she’ll get both drinks.
Her number gets called and she’s trying to get through the people which is taking time. They call the number again quite quickly. She’s trying to get the attention of the server to let her know she’s heard and on her way but it doesn’t look like the cafe worker has noticed.
The cafe worker then shouts the number again, in a way that comes across as very frustrated and honestly a bit rude given that it’s really not been very long. Even if my friend wasn’t disabled it would have been unnecessary. But maybe she’s having a bad day – retail work is stressful especially when busy and we have no idea what might have happened earlier in her shift.
An older man behind us who we’ve never met takes offence at this. He can see the trouble we’ve had getting through the shop and makes a comment about the server being rude and how there’s no need for her attitude. He’s sort of got a point, a more patient response would have been kinder, but it’s really not worth making a fuss over.
It would have been nice if the situation ended there, and I think it probably would have, except that the server then sees my friend coming over in her wheelchair and gets visibly embarrassed. I think she’s realised she might have made a bit of a social blunder. My friend thanks her for the drink and we continue waiting for my drink.
The man makes another comment along the lines of “see, there’s no need to be impatient… people these days need more manners” or something like that and we could see the server get more uncomfortable with the situation.
At this point all the conversations stop and the shop is silent. Everyone is staring at the man, the server and at me and my friend. I think a lot of people are trying to see what side me and my friend will take given we’re physically and metaphorically in the middle of all this.
The server is looking like she is struggling to cope with the embarrassment, and the man sees that he’s starting to get an audience and feels more justified in his outrage and keeps talking, he makes out that he’s just talking to his friend about it but his volume implies he wants everyone to hear.
At this point he’s definitely being a dick, but he’s not shouting or being aggressive as such. I think that if everyone ignores him, like my friend and I are trying our best to do, then it’ll settle down and we’ll all get on with our days.
The server has enough and suddenly crosses the shop to approach the man and immediately tells him to leave with no warning.
The man is shocked and says he’s just talking to his friend and he’s not leaving. The server says that in that case she’ll have to call the police. She pulls out her phone and goes to a staff area.
I do a lot of deescalation at work, and the first rule is to stay calm in situations like this. Neither the server or the man are calm, probably because she still feels embarrassed and uncomfortable and he feels self righteous and disrespected.
I think at this point everyone is a bit stunned. Absolutely everyone is staring at the man and also at my friend and me. I’m wishing the floor would swallow me up and am really hoping to get my drink so I can leave before the police arrive.
Yes, the server came across as impatient and rude, and the man initially said what I’m sure a lot of people were thinking, but he seemed fuelled by an audience and was quickly out of line himself.
I personally feel like if someone else had calmly said “please stop, the situation is under control and if this keeps going we’ll have to ask you to leave” then it wouldn’t have escalated as quickly.
Now Literally everyone now is staring. I think a lot of them are trying to judge whose side my friend and I are going to take, but we both feel like we didn’t ask for any of this and just want everyone to take a breather, and to get our drinks and leave.
A second member of staff goes over to the man and much more calmly explains that now he’s been asked to leave they would have no choice but to call the police if he refuses to leave. I wish she’d been handling this from the start and I got the impression she also felt that it had escalated a bit too quickly, and was trying to deescalate the situation while also knowing her colleague (manager?) was already on the phone.
The man initially refuses to leave again, but he’s clearly calmer and the person he was with seems to convince him it’s not worth it and I hear them leave.
We get my drink and leave. No one checks to make sure we’re okay despite the altercation literally happening about us and over our heads. We’re just glad to be gone before the police show up.
The hot chocolate was nice but really not worth the drama.
