I've been up on Lake Michigan the last couple of days, and it has been so peaceful. I could just sit by the water for hours and listen to the waves. The only thing that drove me off today was the rain. The sky was cloudy and a brilliant blue. When I close my eyes, I can still see it.
This seagull followed us around and tried to steal my sister's sock.
#it was good to meet you bird friend#this sand is so soft#much softer than ocean sand imo#honestly the only thing i missed about the ocean was the smell#i wish i could afford a house on the water#even with all the risks#or in the case of the great lakes#all the snow and coldness#i also got my national park passport today and my first stamp as an adult#i really want to see them all#tomorrow im going to try and do the dare#so many steps but the history of Diana of the Dunes is so cool and the view at the top is supposed to be remarkable

yes. yes it can.
#pokemon#pachirisu#usa-chan the pachirisu#he was caught in the wild and raised to level 100 specifically so i could use pickup to get earthquake TMs#turns out he also had a perfect attack IV and training on gyarados meant he maxed out on attack EVs too#(granted the only way we got through bertha and garchomp was using x-attacks but that was only after exhausting other options w/ showdown)#(thunder punch / seed bomb / dig / last resort and held items metronome (aaron/flint/lucian) + soft sand (bertha) + shuca berry (cynthia))#also along the training journey i caught a shiny red gyarados in pastoria lol. her name's watermelon =)#ANYWAY i love usa-chan with all my heart. he's my little monster. i'm gonna take him to the battle frontier and wreck house

bouncy. softest thing in the universe. made of silicone and sand. i squeeze her face and it bounces back. i squeeze her arm theres no bones in there. i carry her in my mouth like a mother cat and when someone tries to talk to me im like hang on one sec i put her down and shes all slimy. i wipe her off and it messes up her hair but its okay. squish bounce!
