priests and nuns do absolutely Nothing for me. i didn't grow up with any sort of religion other than the consumerist versions of christian holidays and have gone to one (1) religious event in my life (the christening of my godfather's son, an event i do not remember whatsoever because i was 7)

so i have no attraction to men and women of the cloth, no desire to see them ruined, no religious trauma to unpack, and i actively dislike demon summoning porn because it's the most overdone thing on planet earth, and guess what 70% of priest porn is

i do think it's REALLY funny how hawkeye's oddly ethical about being a slut, all things considered… iirc he has a rule that he won't hook up with married women. more important than it being nice, it's interesting for the character in a way that serves his hippocratic oath... and just as important is the fact that it's really funny. provided the woman is unmarried, she's free to kick him while wearing high heels, because yeah, he's still kind of a sex pest and he likes mean women who think he's an annoying little curiosity.

as a general rule i value The Bit very highly, and i think it's extra funny in the case of hawkahy, because there's only one bigger, brighter-flashing DO NOT TOUCH sign than a wedding ring, and that's the chaplain's collar. it's hilarious to think about hawkeye saying "no, it's WRONG to sleep with a married woman!" and then turning around and going "hm. i bet i can get this catholic priest to break his vow of celibacy for me" and then succeeding.

i also think it would be really funny if trapper, who is basically spiders georg for extramarital affairs, drew the morality line at priestfucking. i can see trapper and hawkeye getting into a heated argument over which one is more ethical...

okay, now that you’re back. one of my favorite performances is in a film that not many people have seen but libel is a fantastic film! he gets to really show some range here. if you want to see the camp monstrosity dirk bogarde, modesty blaise is your girl. if you want gay priestfucker dirk bogarde, may i suggest the singer not the song? i could go on singing is judy’s movie but he does a fine turn in that as well, and he’s good in darling even though i hate that film very much <3

i would never recommend the night porter to anyone. that being said, he’s sure doing something in it! he is also doing Something in losey’s accident (your mileage will vary with this one - if you like the servant then go nuts) and visconti’s the damned (i wouldn’t recommend it but it’s interesting). i think this will be enough to sate you for the time being, so happy watching! circle back and let me know your thoughts, and always remember:

I’ve read one priestfucking fic, I’m not sure if it’s the priestfucking fic you mean? It’s “wearing nothing but blame” by queermccoy and it’s beautifully written, feels all hushed and furtive and echoing, like whispering in a church. Generally I prefer canon compliant or divergent AUs for reddie, but when people find a way to make their repression work with the setting of a full AU then I’m on board, and Eddie being a priest definitely fits into that

YAY!!! my second hawkahy fic!!!

i was stress-writing this in between worrying about my classes, and now that i passed that chem exam, i finally feel relaxed enough to put the finishing touches on and post it!

this one goes out to all my awesome friends here on campus who've been enabling (and, in some cases, contracting) my brainrot, especially the one who calls themself President Priestfucker and the one who wrote reviews for my previous fic on a banana :p

and of course HUGE THANKS to everyone who left such amazing comments on the last one!!! i was FLOORED by the feedback; i still can't believe any of it. hope this one satisfies too!!
