Since Lando Norris broke up with his then-girlfriend Luishina in 2022, no one has seen him this happy since. Of course, there have been moments where Lando walked around smiling - for example, when he won his first race in Miami or partying with friends in Ibiza. On more than one occasion, fans saw him joking and laughing until his stomach hurt with other drivers, but further down the line, everyone knew that the old Lando was gone. The one who laughed through love. The one foolishly in love, who proved it at every turn. Since his former relationship, Lando hasn't bonded with anyone - there were only rumors of fleeting romances or PR relationships. Until recently. In fact, no one knows when it took place. And since when Lando felt like a foolishly infatuated boy again.
THE FIRST TIME: Oscar Piastri When Oscar noticed changes in Lando's behavior, it was not much before the Japanese race. Or at least it wasn't so visible before. Norris was walking around smiling from ear to ear, constantly forgetting what he should do or who he should talk to about the changes in the car. No one paid much attention to it, and Oscar initially tried to ignore it as well, and winning in Miami a month later further eclipsed the spy's thoughts. After all, Lando had won his first race after so long in Formula One and so many times standing on the podium. The Mclaren drivers weren't the best of friends on the grid, but Oscar knew it wasn't because of winning the race. Or at least not just because of that.
Oscar was curious, even if he said very little about his life, the Lando case drilled him from the bottom up. And it started off small.
One morning 2 weeks after the Miami race, Lando showed up for a meeting with a goofy smile on his face. His attention was focused on everything during the strategy discussion, his mind was clearly elsewhere.
âAre you okay?â asked Oscar, poking his teammate under the table. As if awakened from his trance, Lando stopped tapping his fingers against his thigh and turned his head toward the Australian, smiling that silly grin again. âYeah, all good, mate. â he asked, tilting his head to the side. Oh, how foolishly charmed he was. âWhy do you ask?â
Oscar shrugged. âI dunno. You just seem... happier these days. What brought back that smile?â
The question hung in the air for a long moment. Lando hung his head and laughed quietly under his breath, as if he was thinking whether he wanted to say it or rather not. And that was the option he chose, keeping his new infatuation to himself.
âWell, you know, buddy, I won a race recently. A chance to celebrate, huh?â
Oscar laughed, but couldn't shake the feeling that there was something else behind that smile, and that Lando was lying right in his eyes. Something - or someone - had brought back that trademark Lando smile. But Oscar decided to let it go for now.
Meanwhile, Lando was smiling to himself. Was it really that noticeable? Could everyone now know his sweet secret?
Such questions were cluttering his mind, but he tried not to worry about them. They were quickly superseded by thoughts of [Y.N]. It was wild how fast she had slipped into his life. What had started as a chance meeting turned into hours of effortless conversation, late-night phone calls, and a connection that had somehow brought him back to life. He hadn't felt this way sinceâŠ. well, he couldn't remember the last time. And that was the point of it all.
MUPPETS: Carlos Sainz Jr Carlos had known Lando since 2019, so this year was their 5th anniversary of knowing each other. From the very beginning, the men, despite the age difference, got along great. And they soon became friends, too, supporting each other in worse and better moments. You could say they knew each other like the back of their hand, so while Lando was drifting away more and more each possible time during their conversations, the Spaniard had no more questions or thoughts. He was well aware that his younger friend's head was occupied by not something, but someone.
The sun beat down on the lush green of the golf course, the Spanish heat was unrelenting even in the early hours of the day. Carlos set up for his shot, squinting against the blinding glare, while Lando stood to the side, waiting his turn. It was a rare moment of calm before the chaos of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend, and Carlos was glad to be spending it with his best friend.
Until he saw Lando miss every time, which hadn't happened all that often before. Well, okay, Lando was worse than Carlos at golf, but to that extent?
And those constant glances at the phone, which he was so reluctant to leave in the golf cart.
âAy, muppet. What the hell is wrong with you?â rang out Carlos' voice as he hit the ball.
Of course it flew cleanly where it was supposed to fly. But what's the pleasure of playing as your friend drills a hole in the grass with his club, his other hand constantly checking his phone screen?
"Huh?" Lando snapped out of his trance. This had been happening to him more and more often lately, nay, it had been happening to him for more than three months now.
âYouâve been smiling like an idiot all day,â Carlos teased, though his tone was softer, more curious than mocking. âActually, youâve been like this for weeks like not months now. So, tell meâwho is she?â
Landoâs cheeks flushed pink, and he quickly turned his attention to the golf ball at his feet, fiddling with his club. âI donât know what youâre talking about,â he muttered, but there was a grin he couldnât quite suppress. And in fact, I don't think he wanted to get rid of it.
Carlos laughed, poking Lando playfully on the shoulder. âCome on, cabrĂłn. I know you too well and it's been a long time since you've been this happy. So who's the lucky girl? Who brought back that smile?â
Lando sighed under his breath - he knew he could trust Carlos, he was his best friend. He just liked the fact that he and [Y.N] were in a closed bubble of happiness that they had made for themselves in three months. Of course it was still fresh and nothing was certain yet, but Lando gave in. To whom as to whom, but to Carlos he already had to tell. It was drilling him from the inside.
âIt's ⊠nothing serious,â Lando finally said, shrugging his shoulders as if it was no big deal. âIt's just⊠I'm meeting someone. I'm trying to keep it discreet.â
Carlos raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. âDude, I've known you long enough to know when you're serious about someone,â he said, and his voice became softer. âAnd if she makes you smile like that, I'd say it's more than a casual.â
Lando bit his lip, trying to hide the smile that threatened to break through. The truth was that [Y.N] had quickly become the best part of his days.
âMaybe,â he admitted, finally meeting Carlos' gaze. âBut for now it's just ⊠between us, sure?
Carlos clapped Lando on the back, a broad grin on his face. âIâm happy for you, hermano. And donât worryâI wonât tell anyone. But I have to say, itâs good to see you like this again.â
They both laughed and Lando already knew he was lost. Together, with Carlos, were like the biggest gossips, so he quickly unlocked his phone, even jumping up and down with happiness, wanting to show Carlos some pictures of them together. What luck befell him when he found out that [Y.N] also loves to take pictures.
Carlos leaned closer, curious. Lando pulled out a photo from a few weeks ago - from his once-in-a-lifetime date with [Y.N]. They were sitting on a blanket in a meadow somewhere by the water, the golden sunset casting a warm glow over them. The girl's head was tilted toward him and resting on his shoulder, her eyes were crinkling with laughter, and Lando looked happier than Carlos had seen him in a long time. His hand was on the girl's shoulders, visibly embracing her closer to him.
âI want her to be the one, you know?â muttered Lando, smiling even wider when he saw the notification from her.
LUCKY CHARM: Lando's parents Lando was able to hide his fresh relationship from his friends, from his fans and from the rest of the world. But he definitely couldn't hide it from his parents and siblings. Not even a month of knowing [Y.N] had passed when he vividly talked about how much he had fallen in love and how he hoped she was the one and last woman in his life. His loved ones were damn happy to finally see the most sincere smile of his entire life on the face of this little Lando Norris.
The air around Silverstone was charged with electricity, and the energy of the home crowd gave Lando joy like no other race on the calendar. Walking through the bustling paddock, he felt lighter than he had in years. It wasn't just the thrill of racing on his own track - it was the realization that somewhere among the sea of faces there was [Y.N], watching him.
Fortunately, he managed to smuggle her into a private hospitality suite, away from prying cameras, journalists and fans. They had been seeing each other for almost four months, in truth they were not a couple, but everything was going for it. Lando wasn't the only one who was foolishly infatuated with the relationship; the girl, like him, walked around with her head in the clouds, as her university colleagues or friends seemed to notice more than once. But in her case it was easier to hide, after all, she didn't have a million eyes on her like Lando did.
When Lando entered his private area in the Mclaren garage, he immediately noticed his parents, sisters and brother, who were smiling at him from ear to ear. The entire Norris family had a close relationship with each other, so of course everyone knew about Lando's new sweetheart, whom he had been dating with for four months.
âAnd there's our smiling boy!â laughed Lando's mother, hugging her son tightly. The driver laughed under his breath, hugging his family one by one, fortunately in a place where the eyes of others did not reach and they could have a moment of peace. âI'm glad you're all here,â Lando said, stroking his younger sister Flo's hair.
âHow could we not be here?â asked Oliver, Lando's brother, laughing under his breath.
The atmosphere was great, however, everyone knew this question would come sooner than perhaps it should?
âWell, you know what, tell us where she is,â said Lando's dad, poking him lightly on the shoulder. âYou're laughing so hard, I won't believe she's not here.â
âYes! Show us finally what brought back that smile,â said his mom, echoing her husband.
Lando felt his face heat up, but he couldnât keep the grin from spreading. âYou two donât miss a thing, do you?â he said, shaking his head.
âWe just want to meet her,â his mum said softly, eyes twinkling with warmth. âWeâve heard so much about her, and if sheâs the reason our sonâs been so happy lately, weâd love to say hello.â
After a moment's thought, Lando nodded. âAll right. I'll bring her - but behave,â he said with nervous but excited energy.
Lando slipped stealthily out of the garage and headed for his room, which only he and a few Mclaren people had access to. Although it was a rather hidden place, [Y.N] did not complain. She could wait out the time until the race in peace, just as she could go out to Mclaren's garage and watch it there. Lando made her as comfortable as possible.
When the girl saw him, she raised her eyes and smiled warmly in his direction. âAre you okay?â she asked.
âYes, everything is fine,â he assured her, taking her hand in his. At the same time, he forced her to get up from the soft couch. âBut⊠there is someone who wants to meet you. My family is even dying to meet the woman of my heart.â
The girl took a deep breath and smiled. âI'd love to meet them.â
Holding hands, they returned to the hospitality. When they went inside, Lando's mother sighed quietly and immediately crossed the room to hug [Y.N]. âOh, how nice to finally meet you,â she said, and her voice was filled with sincere warmth.
âShe's beautiful,â Cisca whispered, looking at Lando. The boy only whispered a quiet âI knowâ and laughed under his breath.
Immediately the whole family greeted the girl, hugging her tightly and bestowing kind words on her, including telling her how happy they were that she was making Lando so happy again. And everything was somehow better. His parents and siblings were talking to the girl he'd had in his heart for several months, and everything was going smoothly. Lando was just standing off to the side, keeping his hand on her back and giving her a little kiss to make her feel better. But he was probably the most stressed one there.
Lando checked his watch, feeling the familiar pre-start jitters begin to overwhelm him. But today he felt a little better than usual.
âI have to go now,â he said reluctantly, turning to face the girl. His parents moved away to give them a moment of privacy.
âYou can do it, you're amazing on the track,â she purred, placing her hands on his shoulders and gently correcting his suit.
Lando merely smiled in her direction and without hesitation placed his hand on her cheek and leaned in, pressing their lips together in a quick but tender kiss. This was not how they had imagined their first kiss, but in that moment it was their best memory and the time this kiss could have happened. Lando pulled away from [Y.N], their eyes met and they both smiled at each other, giggling under their breath.
Lando checked his watch, feeling the familiar pre-race jitters starting to creep in.
âIâve got to go,â he said reluctantly, turning to her. His parents stepped back to give them a moment of privacy.
âGood luck out there,â she whispered, her eyes shining with pride. âYouâre going to do amazing.â
Lando smiled, but there was a flicker of nerves in his eyes. âI hope so. This oneâs important,â he said softly.
[Y.N] reached up, cupping his cheek with her hand. âYouâve got this, Lando. I believe in you.â
Without thinking, Lando leaned in, pressing his lips to hers in a swift, impulsive kiss. It wasnât planned, but in that moment, it felt like the most natural thing in the world. He pulled back, their eyes locking, and they both smiled.
âFor good luck,â he whispered, his voice low enough that only she could hear.
And even if he came in third place after the race, it didn't bother him much. He won something better and it was an amazing woman.
HI IBIZA: Max Fewtrell stream Max knew Lando since they were kids. Both could not imagine life without the other person, they were inseparable. Even if it didn't work out for them to be Formula One drivers by their side, it didn't change anything. They were always side by side, and as soon as Max heard about Lando's new crush, he knew this was the one. Norris had never talked so seriously and eagerly about any girl before. And Max liked to tease him about it. But at the same time, he was damn happy.
The warm glow of sunset in Ibiza paints everything with a golden sheen. Lando Norris, Max Fewtrell and their group of friends held a casual live stream at their bungalow, which they rented for the whole group of friends. This stream was definitely different from their typical ones, where they played games on two different sides of the screen, but that was good too.
Everyone was more muted than at times when they were playing and shouting at each other. However, the biggest difference could be felt in Lando. He was more subdued, gently but sincerely smiling, and his eyes shone with such happiness that you could envy him.
The stream had been going on for about an hour, and the fans didn't run out of questions. They were inundated with the same questions as always, but today they had more opportunity to answer them because they weren't stressed by the background game. Lando kept getting questions about the Championship, the races, the competition and some side silliness. Until Max caught one significant comment among thousands of others. And of course he had to ask them.
Fan comment: "Lando, what brought back that smile? It's been a long time since we've seen you so happy, and of course that's great, but what's your secret?"
Max looks at Lando with a smile and winks. "Good question," he says, leaning back in his chair. "So, man, what's been making you so happy lately?"
"Oh, you know. Life has been better lately. Beautiful weather, sunshine, we have a beach house. The break from racing is good for me too, my head isn't as busy," Lando replied, playing with his hair and smiling under his breath.
Oh how he lied, how he lied to keep his bubble of happiness calm even longer.
"Really? Gee, I guess I agree with that comment, you're somehow happier lately," said Max, glancing at Lando with a teasing look. He remembered well how Lando had talked down his relationship on the stream, but he wasn't going to do the same to him. "Or maybe you've found a hobby other than Formula One?"
"Maybe," he laughed lightly under his breath, feeling the warmth inside his body. "I guess I just got old and I'm not that rebellious 20-year-old anymore "
"Oh, it's definitely old age, you name it" Max laughed and went back to looking for interesting comments, leaving the matter of Lando's happiness. He wanted his friend to still have peace from prying eyes.
After the stream was over, everyone went their separate ways. Some decided to have a bonfire, but Lando felt he needed the solitude. He walked out to the beach, which they had right outside the gate of their cottage, and felt the cooler evening wind brush his face. He smiled under his breath when he saw [Y.N] by the shore. It wasn't a smile that the cameras could see; he reserved this one for her alone.
The girl was wearing a white loose dress that swayed gently in the wind, and her hair was tousled by the wind. It wasn't a moment before she heard him and gently turned toward him, giving him a beautiful smile. "Have you finished the stream yet?"
"It's been a while now," Lando stepped closer, feeling the sand under his feet surround him pleasantly. "I had to get away from the chaos. And the fans are getting curious, they asked what secret I have"
Girl raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Secret? What secret?"
Lando smiles mischievously and walks closer. "That I'm the happiest I've been in years." - he says in a quiet but sincere voice.
[Y.N] smiles, her eyes sparkling in the moonlight. Without another word, she steps into his arms, and Lando doesn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her, pulling her close. They stand there for a moment, just the two of them, the sound of the waves crashing in the background. Lando takes a deep breath and places a kiss on her hair, pulling her even closer to him. It was the peace he had needed for a long time
FIRST CHRISMTAS: [Y.N] Lando and [Y.N] had been together for almost half a year. Their lives were filled with happiness that neither of them had ever experienced before. From the first day, they understood each other like two peas in a pod, and that's how it stayed. That's why she was surprised by how happy Lando was.
The couple in love are together in the kitchen, with the countertop in front of them strewn with flour and other ingredients for making gingerbread cookies. [Y.N] is wearing one of Lando's voluminous sweaters and humming a Christmas carol, pacing next to the countertop. Lando, on the other hand, dressed in his loose Mclaren T-shirt and Christmas pajama pants, is trying to roll out the dough, but it's not going well. His hands are covered in flour and the dough keeps sticking to the rolling pin. Well, it's easier to say that his whole body is covered in flour.
"Do you need help, chef?" - asks [Y.N], leaning against the countertop and looking at him with an amused smile.
Lando raises his gaze, feigning impatience. "It's harder than it looks, sure?" - He laughs, combing his flour-dusted hair with his hand. "I thought baking was supposed to be easy."
"It's easy, you just have some manual problems," the girl laughs and moves to his side, gently taking the rolling pin from his hands. "Here, let me," she says, guiding him to the side. Their fingers brush as she takes over, a soft, tender moment.
"Sure, my baking queen," the boy laughs, looking at her with adoration.
"You could do the icing." the girl says, pointing to the already made gingerbread cookies.
Lando's eyes brighten, his smile widening. "Icing, huh? That's sounds better." He grabs a piping bag and starts filling it, but as he attempts to pipe a simple design, it all goes horribly wrong.
âLando!â she laughs, her eyes crinkling with amusement. The icing has spilled everywhere.
He looks down at his hands, dripping with icing. âWell, thatâs not what I had in mindâŠâ He shrugs sheepishly.
âYouâre adorable when you try, you know that?â She leans in and wipes a bit of icing from his cheek, her thumb brushing against his skin.
âAnd youâre just adorable,â he says, moving closer to her.
Landoâs hands quickly find their place on her waist, and his face is twisted into a genuine big smile. They both giggle, putting the matter of the cookies aside.
âWhat brought that smile again, huh?â the girl asks, touching his lips, which is also dirty with icing.
âYou,â he says simply, and his voice carries a quiet sincerity that makes her heart skip a beat. "It was always you"
For a moment, they both stand in silence, the hum of the Christmas music in the background, the quiet crackling of the small fire in the corner of the livingroom adding to the coziness of the apartment. Itâs a peaceful stillness, the kind that only exists between two people whoâve found something real.

Gentle Love
Pairing: Rio Vidal x Fem!Reader
Summary: She may be Lady Death, but to you, she is your sweet love.
Word Count: 1.2k
Warnings: mentions of depression, panic attacks, just a lot of hurt/comfort
a/n: surprise! another fic! i know a lot of people have been wanting just rio fics, so here you go! a little hurt/comfort! the goal was to make a mental health fic where it isn't romanticized, so here's hoping i did that! enjoy!!!
Your relationship with Lady Death wasnât one that had a spontaneous start. She didnât save you from a painful demise, or help you realize life was worth living.
She had met you on her day off. (Yes, Lady Death gets days off. Sheâs not the only one working the underworld, you know.) She was wandering through a wooded area when she came across you. You were sitting under a willow tree, humming to yourself as you wove a crown of daisies.
Her heart had practically melted at the sight of you, and she found herself gravitating towards you. Before she knew it, she was introducing herself to you and you were inviting her to join you beneath the willow.
The two of you were pretty much inseparable after that. You spent countless days getting to know every part of each other; mind, body, and soul. Soon enough, you were deeply in love with Rio Vidal: Lady Death. And she could say the same about you.
You both had grown exponentially by being in each otherâs presence. But a romantic relationship doesnât mean the absence of all problems.
Rio struggled deeply with guilt. She hated that she had been bound to this calling, that she had been chosen to wear a face she found hideous and escort living creatures to a world beyond life. It pained her to take children from their mothers, sisters from their brothers, soulmates from their lovers.Â
But you were so soft with her. Soft as you kissed her in her Death form, soft as you held her while she shook with guilt and self-hatred, soft as you assured her that she was doing the right thing. That you loved her always.
As for you, mental illness was something you had dealt with from a young age. After all, being a witch who was chased from countless villages and hunted endlessly, all for possessing a magical ability she never asked forâŠwell, it tends to have some lasting negative effects on oneâs mental well being.
You were proud to say you knew how to handle it, but you had your weak moments. Moments like now. And you hated them.
As you woke up, you felt a familiar heaviness in your bones. Your heart felt heavy but was racing all the same, your head ached, and your stomach churned with dread and anxiety.
You turned to the other side of the bed, reaching for your comfort, your person, only to find it empty. Your eyes filled with tears as you took a deep breath.Â
You wondered if you should call her. You hated that the thought even crossed your mind. You could handle this alone.
âBut you donât have to,â your loverâs words echoed through your mind as you pondered what to do.
You and Rio had created a system for times like this. If ever you were feeling like the walls were closing in, like you couldnât breathe, like you could barely function. All you had to do was think of a color and a name. Her name.
Yellow meant you were struggling, but could handle it alone if need be. Red meant you needed her.
You rarely tended to use red. You loved Rio, and you knew full well that her presence helped to calm you in times of discomfort and anxiety, but you couldnât pull yourself out of your need to be independent and not rely on anyone for help. You hated admitting the need for help.
Even now, as you laid in bed, tears streaming down your face as you struggled to breathe, you refused to admit defeat. But you knew you owed it to both her and yourself to say something.
Yellow. Rio. Yellow, you thought as you brought your hands to your face, willing your breathing to calm down.
It was no use. All you could think of was how useless you were, how helpless, worthless, weak.
You choked out a sob as the room seemed to get smaller and smaller.
Until you felt gentle hands on your wrists, tenderly pulling them from your face.
âHey there, sweet girl. Letâs sit you up, yeah?â Rio said softly.
You followed her instructions, allowing the witch to help you to a sitting position.
You met her eyes, expecting to see disappointment and disgust, but instead being met with nothing but love pooling in her brown eyes.Â
Her hands moved from your wrists, gently intertwining her hands with yours.Â
âThereâs my girl. Letâs try and get that breathing to slow down. Wanna get some more air in those beautiful lungs of yours, yeah?â She cooed, her eyes encouraging.
You nodded, and she took one of your hands, placing it on her stomach as she took exaggerated breaths as an example.
You began to copy her, your eyes not leaving hers, feeling safe as you lost yourself in her.
She squeezed your hands softly. âLook at you go. Breathing all by yourself. Iâm so proud of you, mi vida,â she whispered as you found yourself finally able to breathe steadily.
You both sat there for a few more minutes, her allowing you the space to feel whatever you may be feeling as you came back to your senses.
You opened your mouth to speak, struggling to find words to express your needs. As if she had read your mind, Rio let go of your hands to reposition herself against the headboard of the bed and opened her arms to you.
You smiled at her in gratitude, moving to sit in between her legs, laying your back against her front as she held you.
You both sat in silence for a few moments, just soaking in each otherâs presence; Rio running her fingers through your hair with one hand and softly caressing your leg with the other.
Eventually, she spoke.
âIâm so proud of you.â
You shrugged against her and she shook her head.
âIâm serious, my love. Iâm proud of you for calling for me.â
âFeel weak,â you mumbled as you hung your head.
Rio furrowed her brows, turning you to face her. âQuite the contrary, love. You are the bravest person I know. You can handle these things on your own. I know you can. But you knew it wasnât what was best for you, so you called for me. And Iâm so grateful to be in love with such a strong, beautiful girl who knows how to help herself,â she said, her voice full of adoration that brought tears to your eyes.
âI love you, Rio,â you choked out, your hands finding her cheeks, thumbs brushing against the skin softly.
She placed her hands on your waist, allowing you to initiate the kiss.
You brought her face to yours, kissing her with all the love you had. She kissed you back, softly, always softly, pecking your lips softly as you pulled away.
âI love you most, my precious girl,â she said, laughing as you rolled your eyes at her need to turn everything into a competition.
She kissed the tip of your nose, relishing in the way you wrinkled it at the sensation.
âAlright, I prescribe you a glass of water, some chocolate chip pancakes, and cuddles with your hot girlfriend,â she said as she got up, smirking at you.
She beamed in triumph as you giggled. âWell if thatâs what the doctor herself ordered, who am I to disagree?â you teased.
âMy thoughts exactly. Iâll be right back, my brave girl. I love you,â she said, her eyes softening again.
âI love you, Rio Vidal,â you said with a smile, and she blew you a kiss before exiting your bedroom.
Yes, she was Lady Death, but to you, Rio Vidal would always be your gentle love.

tied up - rafe cameron x fem!reader
warnings: master manipulator!rafe ; mentions of violence ; sexual innuendos towards the end
a/n: the second i saw rafe tied up and sweaty in this episode, i KNEW i had to write about it. this is probably the first of many writings relating to this scene.
the ship rocks gently beneath you, creaking in time with the water lapping against its sides. you step carefully, feeling the weight of the metal plate in your hands, warm against your fingertips. the scent of food mixes with the salt air, thick and lingering, though youâre sure he wonât touch it. rafe sits a few feet away, hands bound to a pipe in front of him, his head drooped forward. he doesnât look up as you approach, but you can feel his awareness.
you pause, just out of reach, and the light catches his profileâa bruise blooming darkly his eye, his lip split and red, dried blood marking his mouth like some careless stain from when jj knocked him out. he lifts his head slowly, almost deliberately, and his gaze finds yours. his eyes are sharp, narrowed, an intense blue like broken glass in sunlight, calculating and unreadable.
the plate feels heavier in your hands, like itâs suddenly full of something fragile. you set it down, the scrape of metal on wood cutting through the silence like a match. he doesnât move, just watches you with that unblinking look, like heâs trying to measure how much of you he could break if his hands were free. the thought chills you, but you donât step back.
âeat,â you say, trying to sound calm, detached, but your voice feels too loud in the confined space. his mouth twitches, a hint of something that might be a smile, but itâs too cold, too hollow. you can see the strain in his shoulders, the pure anger in the way he holds himself, but underneath itâsomething else. a flicker of vulnerability heâs trying hard to hide.
âso, they send you down to try to convince me to eat? think it would soften me up or something?â his voice is rough as it echos through the confined room. âi already told sarah that iâm not eating until they untie me.â he says with pure defiance. his eyes bore into you as if heâs trying to study you.
you turn your head, your gaze diverting to the dusty floor. âactually, no one sent me down here. they could give a shit if you starved or not. it would be doing everyone a favor.â you avoid his eyes, afraid that your confidence would melt if you met them.
for a second, you wonder if heâs about to say something, something meant only for you, and the realization tightens in your chest like a warning.
âthen, why are you here?â he asks harshly. you look up to meet his haunted eyes, a chill runs down your spine and butterflies settle in your stomach. âwhat happened to never wanting to see me again, huh? what happened to âi love you foreverâ ?â
his words command a flood of memories to rush through your head. your breathing becomes heavier as you remember it all; the lingering gazes, the sweet nothings, and finally, the way the absence in his eyes as he shot sherif peterkin.
âyou know what happened, rafe,â you warn, your voice cracking slightly. he smirked, almost as if he could sense your anxiety. âyou know why i left you.â
rafeâs smirk deepens, twisted and bitter, and he leans forward as much as the bindings allow him. âleft me?â his voice is low, mocking, but thereâs something raw in it too. âcome on. we both know you didnât leave meâyou never really left me.â
the words cut through you, sharper than you expect, and for a moment, you canât breathe. he watches you, waiting for a reaction, relishing it, and maybe even needing it. his gaze is relentless, pining you there like you were the one in restraints.
you force yourself to meet his eyes, even as every instinct screams to look away, to leave the room, and to escape. âi did, though. i left you because you werenât the man i started dating. you were this,â you gesture to his bruises, his dried blood, and his hostility shimmering in his expression; the man who seems like a stranger and yet is all too familiar.
âyouâve always been mine.â he mutters more to himself than to you. âand iâm- iâm trying to change, y/n. iâve been trying to change.â he says sternly, almost as if it was obvious, but it wasnât. ây-you people donât understand that i can change. i can change just as easily as you and sarah did when you started hanging around those goddamn pogues!â he raises his voice, jolting forward, and causing you to jump back.
when he notices you flinch, his gaze softens. he take a deep breath and sits back. you swallow harshly as he shifts from 0 to 100 in mere seconds.
âiâm just trying to change for the better; for you.â his voice is soft, not like what it was before. you can hear the sadness and the desperation dripping from his mouth.
itâs a trap. itâs all a trap. youâve known rafe long enough to sense when heâs being manipulative, and heâs at his peak right now. you donât respond, shaking your head, and going to grab the plate of food. as you grab the mental dish, his hands clasp around your wrist. the plate drops to the floor with a clatter.
âdonât- donât go.â he whispers softly. his eyes search your face for even an ounce of reciprocated feelings. you bite the inside of your cheek as you ponder the possibilities. âstay here with me⊠please.â he isnât speaking anymore, no, heâs begging.
your guard completely falls, leaving yourself vulnerable, and raw to his manipulations. when he senses the sudden shift, itâs as if he latches onto you, stringing his webs tighter around you.
you relax your shoulders with a sigh, not saying yes, but not leaving. he smiles and his eyes fall to your plump lips. his grip tightens around your wrist, fingers wrapping around your pulse. his breath is shallow and ragged, as if heâs afraid youâll drift away.
your pulse quickens, a silent thrum that feels too loud, too obvious. his thumb moves softly, tracing small circles against your skin, a touch thatâs barely there but enough to send a rush of warmth up your arm. you could pull away, break the moment before it goes any further, but you stay still.
rafeâs eyes drop to your lips, his jaw clenching as he takes a steadying breath. heâs drawing you closer, erasing the distance you swore to keep. âyou donât have to stay,â he murmurs, but his fingers tighten, betraying his words. âbut⊠I donât want you to leave.â
he inches closer, his face barely a breath away as his scent fills your senses. you can feel him hesitating, struggling against something, something that holds him back as much as it pulls him forward.
thousands of thoughts, warnings, and memories flash through your mind like blinding headlights, but they quiet under the intensity of his stare. then, he leans forward, closing the final sliver of space between you. his lips press softly against yours, and as if surrendering, you begin to kiss him back. the kiss begins gentle and sweet, but quickly turns into something desperate and fiery.
his tongue teases your mouth, slipping against your bottom lip. heâs frantic, raw, almost as if heâs afraid of losing you again, like heâs trying to make up for everything that happened. your lips slot against his like a puzzle piece.
you pull away breathlessly and stare at him. he lifts his arms that are bound by rope just enough for you to slip under them, now straddling his lap. you settle on his lap, something hard presses against your ass.
he smirks, âfeel what you do to me, baby? iâve missed you so much.â
the way he stares at you then and there tells you that youâll be his forever. that there is no escape from him, even if you allow yourself to believe so. youâll eternally be stuck in his web as he dances around you, only adding more silk to restrain you.
âcalm down and untie me.â he says with a twisted grin. âlet me take care of you, sweet girl.â

Sleep Striker
Summary: You discover that Bucky sleepwalksâand itâs not the calm, peaceful kind of sleepwalking. You wake up to find him in full-on combat mode with the couch.
Pairing           : Bucky Barnes x Girlfriend!Reader
Note                : fluff
The night was supposed to be peaceful. Youâd spent the entire evening watching Netflix with Bucky, eating popcorn, and joking around like any normal couple. By the time you both hit the sack, you were expecting nothing but a quiet nightâs sleep, maybe punctuated by Buckyâs usual snores.
But no.
Around 2 AM, you woke up to the sound of something crashing in the living room. Your heart leapt into your throat, thinking for a second that maybe someone had broken in. Instinctively, you reached for the baseball bat you kept beside the bed (Bucky insisted on keeping a knife there, but youâd settled on a less dramatic weapon). Slowly, you tiptoed toward the door, already mentally preparing yourself for some horror-movie showdown with a burglar.
But what you found was so much worse.
There, in the dim glow of the living room lamp, was Bucky Barnesâyour sweet, grumpy, 100-year-old boyfriendâthrowing punches at thin air like he was in the middle of a battle.
âWhat the hellâŠâ you whispered, blinking in disbelief.
Bucky, still completely asleep, ducked and weaved as if he were dodging invisible enemies, his fists flying through the air with lethal precision. His face was set in that intense, focused expression he wore when he was in full-on Winter Soldier mode, and for a moment, you couldnât help but feel a mix of fear and⊠laughter? This was ridiculous. Your boyfriend was sleep-fighting in the living room.
You set the bat down carefully, still trying to process the situation, when Bucky suddenly spun around and landed a full-force punch on the couch.
The couch.
It made a sad thud as the cushions absorbed the blow, but Bucky didnât stop. He kicked out at the coffee table next, sending it skidding a few inches across the floor.
âBucky!â you hissed, trying to keep your voice low but urgent. âHey, babe, wake up!â
He didnât hear you. Instead, he crouched low, as if he were avoiding gunfire, and rolled behind the armchair, his metal arm glinting faintly in the darkness. You bit your lip, trying so hard not to laugh, but it was impossible. This was like watching an overgrown toddler reenact an action movie in his sleep.
âOkay,â you whispered to yourself, âhow the hell do I handle this?â
Youâd heard about sleepwalkers before, and you were pretty sure you werenât supposed to wake them up. But you couldnât just let Bucky wage war against your furniture all night. The man had already drop-kicked the coffee table, and at this rate, heâd be suplexing the bookshelf by sunrise.
You crept a little closer, careful not to startle him. âBucky, babe, itâs just me. Youâre, uh, safe. Thereâs no Hydra agents in the apartment, I promise.â
He didnât respond. Instead, he launched himself toward the couch again, this time pulling off a move that looked like it came straight out of a Captain America fight scene. He tackled the poor couch as if it had personally offended him, his arms wrapping around the back cushions in a chokehold.
âBucky, stop! The couch isnât the enemy!â you half-whispered, half-yelled, trying to stifle your laughter. âOh my god, youâre gonna kill the couchâŠâ
He grunted, still deep in his dream, and threw a wild punch that just barely missed the coffee table. You winced at the near miss. That couldâve been bad. Like, broken furniture and a pissed-off Bucky kind of bad.
At this point, you realized you had to do something before your apartment looked like it had been hit by a tornado. Slowly, cautiously, you approached Bucky like you were approaching a wild animalâbecause, letâs be real, thatâs kind of what he was right now.
âBuckyâŠâ you said softly, reaching out a hand. âCome back to bed, babe. You donât have to fight the couch anymore. You won. Itâs dead.â
He hesitated for a moment, his muscles twitching like he was on the verge of launching another attack. But instead of another round of couch-punching, he slowly stood up, blinking groggily as if he was coming out of a fog.
You let out a breath of relief. âThank God.â
But your relief was short-lived. Because as soon as Bucky turned around, he spotted the kitchen chairsâlined up perfectly in a row by the tableâand apparently, in his half-asleep mind, they were the next Hydra targets.
âNo,â you groaned, as Bucky lunged toward the chairs. âNot the chairs! I like those chairs!â
He grabbed one, flipping it over like it was an enemy combatant, and before you could stop him, he had another chair in a headlock. You stood there, watching in sheer disbelief as Bucky Barnesâthe most feared assassin in the worldâbattled a set of IKEA furniture like it was the final boss fight of his life.
âBucky, babe, please!â you shouted, a mix of panic and laughter bubbling out. âI canât explain this to the landlord!â
Finally, in a last-ditch effort, you ran over and grabbed his armâhis metal arm, because that seemed like the safer bet. âBucky, itâs me! Youâre sleepwalking!â
At first, he didnât respond. His eyes were still glazed over, lost in whatever dream battlefield he was trapped in. But then, slowly, he blinked. His metal arm relaxed under your grip, and he looked down at you, his brow furrowing in confusion.
â...What the hell?â he muttered, blinking again.
You let out the biggest sigh of relief. âOh my god, thank you. I thought you were gonna destroy the whole apartment.â
Bucky glanced around, still looking dazed. âWhat⊠what happened?â
âYou, uh⊠kinda went to war with the furniture,â you said, biting your lip to keep from laughing again. âYou were sleepwalking.â
His eyes widened. âI did what?â
âYou attacked the couch. And the coffee table. And, um, the chairs,â you explained, gesturing to the wreckage around the living room. âIt was⊠a lot.â
Bucky groaned, rubbing a hand over his face. âShit. I didnât hurt you, did I?â
âNo, no,â you reassured him quickly. âIâm fine. But the couch⊠not so much.â
He looked over at the couch, which was now sagging slightly from the multiple punches it had taken. âDamn,â he muttered, running a hand through his hair. âGuess I really went at it, huh?â
You couldnât help but laugh. âBabe, you suplexed the couch. Iâve never seen anything like it.â
Bucky winced. âShit. Iâm sorry. I didnât mean toââ
âItâs fine,â you interrupted, grinning up at him. âIt was kind of⊠impressive, honestly. I mean, you took out an entire living room while asleep. Thatâs some next-level stuff.â
He gave you a sheepish look, still clearly embarrassed. âIâll fix it in the morning.â
âYou better,â you teased. âBut for now, can we please go back to bed before you decide to fight the fridge or something?â
Bucky let out a quiet chuckle, shaking his head. âYeah, yeah. Iâll⊠Iâll stay away from the appliances.â
You wrapped an arm around his waist, guiding him back toward the bedroom. âGood idea, soldier. Letâs just stick to sleeping from now on.â
As you both crawled back into bed, you couldnât help but steal one last glance at the wrecked living room, a smirk tugging at the corner of your lips.
âBucky?â you whispered, snuggling up next to him.
âYeah?â
âIf you ever get the urge to fight the couch again, maybe, like, wake me up first?â
He groaned, pulling the covers over his head. âDonât remind me.â
You giggled, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. âGoodnight, Super Soldier Sleepwalker.â
âGoodnight,â he muttered, already halfway back to sleep.
But this time, thankfully, without the couch-wrestling.

Itâs fun to relate to the people that live in the same place as you, something about it deepens the connection. Whether it is a mutual bonding over music, entertainment, or even sports â it always makes you feel closer, comfortable. In this day and age, it can be almost lonely if you arenât connected with others through your phone, making the world feel a bit glummer. Having that safe group is necessary to be one with the world, to feel like youâre going to be okay â like everything is going to pan out. You happened to luck out by living in the same building as some of the most heinous, and hilarious characters the world has ever set eyes on. You have the fortune of calling them your friends.
The group chat was originally Wadeâs idea. His way of bringing you into the crew when you worked late, not missing a moment of meet ups you couldnât make it to. It was a sweet gesture, but with how many others were in there â it overwhelmed you. Out of the twelve people who are constantly messaging the chat, you found safety within two of them. Negasonic and Yukio happened to be your solace when the chat was too loud. Yukio wasted no time in creating a Girls Only chat for you three, where nothing was held back. You three could express yourselves in every way possible, without the guys being weirdos â mainly Wade but still. It was great to have women friends around your own age, that was something you were not used to.Â
Any inside joke about the guys or about events being organized was ran through your three separately, making small bets here and there on what Al would say, who Peter would try to have grab his chain, how many times Logan told Wade to fuck off. Logan, that made you tune in real quick. The possibilities were endless and made it eventful to say the least. But the one thing you loved the most about your friendship with Nega and Yukio is how open they are with you; Honest, encouraging, your own personal cheerleaders. When you initially met them, you were a shy little wallflower â getting by on just being a listener over a talker. Always the encourager, never getting encouragement. Shying away anytime someone was nice to you, never accepting it as truth. Yukio and Nega were the opposite of what you were, and everything you wanted to be.
Having a safe space with them meant you could send them anything and theyâd listen, give advice, be the best friends you couldâve ever asked for. It was with them that you found your confidence, something you always struggled with. It was one photo you sent them of the dress you were wearing â both ladies telling you how beautiful and gorgeous you are, how hot you looked in it. That small little omission altered your brain chemistry. You hadnât been called hot before, so it invigorated you to hear that. It was a long dive into the endless pool below, and you were ready for the journey down. Months and months of slowly getting out of your shell with them turned you into a little vixen, the compliments they gave you caused you to thrive. You always reciprocated for them as well, hyping them up through and through. It felt good to feel like you were worth it, like you werenât just there. It changed the way you saw yourself, and you knew youâd never go back to how it was before.
Tonight was no different, after all you had just gotten back from hanging out with them. A trip downtown to the mall was a call for chaos when it was you three, Wade forcing Logan to stay home with him and reenact The Greatest Showman with Mary Puppins. It bummed you out for a bit, not being able to chill with Logan like you wanted, but when Wade called â no one told him no. It was a secret to everyone who wasnât Yukio and Nega that you had a thing for Logan. Something about the older man burned right through you in the most sensual way possible, something deep and longing you never wanted to leave. Little glances you two would have together always caused the girls to giggle, teasing you about it later but, it was only a matter of time before the chord snapped, before you gave in. Still that fear sat at the back of your mind, the what ifâs. What if he doesnât want me? What if he doesnât want anyone? What if? What if? What if?
As you sit on your plush rug right in front of your wall length mirror, you leaned against the side of your bed, humming as you thumbed through the earlier group chat messages. Behind you on your duvet sat the bag full of clothing you had gotten, trying to add more color into your wardrobe. Beneath it all sat a spicy little number you nabbed whole Yukio and Nega were changing, something that felt so right you needed to have it. It wasnât a secret that you would buy yourself things like these every now and again but, this time around you felt empowered holding this little secret just for yourself, to surprise your friends with. They always said that color duo made you look fearless, powerful, gorgeous â and youâd be damned if youâd pass it up, especially on sale.
Chewing on the inside of your cheek, you contemplated getting up to take a shower or put on your new set, feeling yourself out, getting some prime photos then showering. The toss up between the two left you unable to choose, wondering if you could go hang out with Wade and Laura instead, maybe even sneak your way into Loganâs room. The thought made your body shiver, needing to close your eyes for a moment to brace yourself. Taking a deep breath in, you let your mind wander, your hand grabbing the bag off your bed instinctively. It was a given deep down you wanted to prance around your room in the set, spicing up your night. Something about wearing it underneath your clothes while hanging out with everyone felt taboo, downright sinful â but you craved it.
Feeling your body tremble with anticipation, you gently grabbed each piece of lingerie out of the bag, the rustling of tissue paper filling the air as your music droned low in the background. The bra was placed carefully against the bed first, followed by the lacy things and garter set; Your eyes quivered with arousal as you saw it, knowing how it was going to make you feel. There was no wasted effort in stripping completely naked, tossing your day clothes into the laundry basket. The slight cool breeze coming from your central air, mixing with the intoxicating smell of the candles lit around you made your eyes darken, your nipples pebbling against the air. You understood why you were excited and giddy to be putting it in, but in the back of your mind you also felt nervous. It was confusing you.
Pushing it out of your head, you ignored the nagging in the back of your mind, solely focusing on the task at hand. Sliding the soft lace of the thong up your thighs, you reveled in how it felt â how it glided against your skin so softly, like it was a lover. How supportive it felt cupping your front whilst holding your behind helped to quell some of the nerves lying low in your belly. Snapping the elastic band against your hip, you giggled as you grabbed the bra. Even though it was lacy and covered almost nothing, it had good support for your breasts, holding them perfectly to show the most amount of cleavage, but also leaving some to the imagination. In between the small bits of detailing, you could see the color of your nipple, which caused your smirk to grow. Biting your bottom lip, you smoothed your hands over the apex of your breasts, watching as the flesh spilled over slightly.
All that was left was your garter belt, sitting across the middle of your stomach and hooking onto your stockings. You worked quickly to pull them up as you let the music take over you, swaying to the beat so it was less intimidating. As the final strap was hooked to the top of your stockings, you let out a shaky sigh, silently prepping yourself for what you would see once you turned around. Keeping your eyes closed you spun around slowly, letting the anticipation eat away at you until you couldnât take anymore. Usually you were so confident when it came to trying these pieces on, not giving a second worry to them â this time around you were nervous, as if this particular color scheme made you scared. You couldnât let that hold you back, not after how far you have come, it wasnât worth it.
Slowly you opened your eyes as you faced the mirror, the blue tint of the strip lighting giving a whimsy glow to your room. The focal point of your vision started to become clear as you looked at your face, makeup still immaculate and beautiful from earlier. But as your eyes panned down to your body, you felt a fresh wave of goosebumps flood your skin, a shaky moan leaving your lips. The yellow of the bra and thong complimented your figure wonderfully, amplifying the gorgeous glow of your skin. But truly it was the navy blue of your stockings and belt that made your body quiver; The royal deep color punctuating your sensuality with how you stood. You couldnât believe this was you, in all your baren glory â a fucking goddess amongst men, you could send one to the hospital just with this set. You couldnât keep your smile back any longer as you stared at yourself, admiring your body and its shape against the lingerie. All the worries, all the small doubts instantly fell away, your confidence skyrocketing.
You knew for a fact Yukio and Nega would hype you up, thinking this was totally youž and probably ask if you got it today. But those could wait, you needed to take photos â you needed to see what you looked like on screen. The giddy nature of what you were doing sent shivers through your body, the thought of what positions would look best making you grow excited. You decided that your go-to for new outfits would fit perfectly in this scenario. Who knows, you could save this photo for a rainy day when you wanted to tease someone. You grabbed your phone off of the bed as you dropped to your knees, the plush shag material of your lilac rug feeling lovely against your legs.
Parting your thighs, you left a good gap between both as you sunk yourself down. One hand came to press against the floor directly in front of your clothed core, tossing your hair over to the opposite side. As you held your phone in position with your free hand, you noticed how your arm was pushing your breasts together deliciously, deepening the cleavage, sending your eyes a shade darker. Pouting your lip as cutely as you do, you snapped a few quick photos, getting every great angle you could as you changed your hair direction. A blur of photos filled your camera roll as you felt yourself, âJunoâ by Sabrina Carpenter coming across your playlist at the best time.
As you laughed to yourself, you finally stopped taking photos, sitting with your back against the bed and crossing your legs. Each photo you took was a masterpiece, amplifying your beauty by tenfold. But out of each one, it was the very first one that felt real, authentic to you. The others you were playing sexy up, trying to get the best fuck me look going, but it felt too artificial for your taste. It was the first one, the one where your eyes were dilated, where your nipples perked beneath the fabric, where your thighs trembled that made you feel like a God. It was a no brainer that this is what Yukio and Nega were getting, there was no way around it now. Clicking the share icon in your camera roll, you clicked on the first green bubble, eyes blurred from how excited you were about this risky photo. Iâd be a lot tougher with claws.
You sent off the cheeky message without a second more thought to it, locking your phone instantly. As you tossed the device on your bed, you put on the silk bathrobe hanging off of the corner of your mirror, wrapping yourself up quickly. All that thirst-trapping made you thirsty, the dry mouth you were getting was too much for you. As you opened your bedroom, making it around to your kitchen of your apartment, you opened your fridge up quickly to grab a water bottle. The cold plastic in your hand brought you back to Earth, your body coming back into itself as your reality started to slip back in. The cap was popped off easily by you, finding its way across the quartz top. Bringing the bottle to your lips, you let them wrap around the opening, gulping down the cold liquid. It felt nice with how hot you felt, bringing your internal temperature back down as your mind cleared.
Ding. The tone of your phone going off made you stop drinking, catching your breath as you swallowed down the water. So lost in bringing yourself back to the present time, you forgot you had messaged the chat. You screwed the lid back onto the bottle as you set it on the countertop, promising to come back to it. As you made your way elegantly back to your room, that pull of nausea and nerves made you stop. Your stomach churned as you stood in the doorway, the threshold keeping you upright. That same feeling from earlier was back as you put on the lingerie, not knowing why you felt so nervous and scared all of a sudden. It made you confused, weary as to what your body was trying to tell you. Itâs just Yukio and Nega, why are you being so flighty? Groaning to yourself, you rolled your eyes as you made your way back to your bed.
Plopping down onto the duvet, you sprawled out on your stomach as you grabbed your phone, using your face ID to unlock it. Yes you would. Colors look good on you. You cocked a brow at the message, reading the lines over and over again. It didnât sound like Nega or Yukio to be so short-worded. Usually, they would send a plethora of emojis before screaming in all caps. But that was just the thing, your last message open wasnât to the group chat, but one individual instead. It all made sense now, why you felt so scared and nervous. Your eyes went wide as you read the contactâs name, not seeing your groupchat. No, instead it read Logan. It wasnât the groupchat that received the photo, it was him.
You screamed as you threw your phone across the floor, palms shaking as you sat up silently. The noise in your brain was too loud to focus, the intake of your breath and blood pulsing through your ears made everything too much. Anxiety was sitting in the back of your throat, threatening to spill your stomach out. You scrambled across the floor on your hands and knees to grab your phone, still unlocked from a few moments ago. Shaky fingers worked to unsend the photo, blessing the tech gods for that feature. You were too anxious to type, opting for speech to text instead. âIâm so sorry about that! I meant to send that to Nega and Yukio.â Seeing the wording typed out didnât feel right, as weird as that sounded. Admitting it felt like a sin, more so than sending a sexy photo to The Wolverine. After all, wasnât this your endgame anyways? Itâs not like you havenât deep infatuated with him since he became Wadeâs friend, since you started hanging around him a lot more. Wasnât it you who stated that by the end of the year, youâd kiss him? Wasnât it you who said you would fight tooth and nail to make him yours?
Being sucked into your mind by your thoughts caused you to delay in sending your message, instead removing the text with your finger to completely disappear. Ding. Right as you were thinking of your response, you saw another message come through from Logan, one you didnât anticipate. Put it back. Now. There was no way he said that, right? Oh, but there was. As your eyes shook from excitement, nervousness, and fear you could make out the small letters of Loganâs message, feeling his desire through the text. He wasnât a big texter, he even said that himself â but to see him say more than two words was insane to you, even now when he was clearly enamored with you. There was no right or wrong way to reply, but no words you could think of held a light to the dominance Logan is showing.
Incoming FaceTime Call: Logan. The red and green buttons at the bottom made you stir, wondering if it would be a good idea to answer. This was one of his favorite ways to communicate, to see how things were going and what you were up to. Granted they never lasted more than two minutes because Wade would always hijack it but still â the little slivers of time you got with Logan was special. This time around though? It felt wired, like if you answered youâd get the shock of a lifetime. But what was life without a little self-indulgence? Looking up at yourself in the mirror, you fixed a few strands of your hair, pulling your robe a bit tighter around your chest as you sat back against the bed, letting your butt hit the floor as you got comfortable. Dragging your thumb along the green answer button, you positioned your phone a few inches away from your face, enough to get your collarbone up in the shot. A slow, pregnant pause caused by your phoneâs connection delayed seeing Logan. But once it came to be, you were taken aback.
The dark of the early night was cresting behind his head, the sun starting to descend into the horizon. His eyes glittered against the holiday lights, causing your heart to swell. Once he looked back down at the camera, he couldnât help himself but by staring at you, a small smile threatening to take over his lips. âHey,â he let out with an airy breath, the slight chill of the night causing it to puff out. You felt yourself suck in a breath, the energy already charged. Reflecting his own smile, you sent your own through your phone as you waved. âHi.â Usually you were a lot more talkative, teasing him to make him smile but â none of that felt right in this moment. Even with seeing his face on your screen, you could tell he was hiding something â not really saying what he wanted to. His eyes were black against the horizon behind him, no sight of hazel coming through.
âHowâre you?â You managed to let out, your voice lower than usual as you let your legs stretch out, leaning further back against the side of the bed. Logan didnât miss a second of your movements as he walked down the street, the light bustling of cars filling the sound barrier. From the buildings behind him, you could see he was downtown, more than likely heading to the bar for a quick drink. You silently wished he asked to meet you there, to hang out privately for once. But that playful glint in his pupils told a different story as he rounded the corner, staring down at you. âDid Wade tell you about my suit?â
Logan asked with a slight smirk, narrowing his eyes suspiciously as he watched for your reaction. Cocking a brow in his direction you tried to understand what he was asking, not sure what suit he meant. You knew that Logan was The Wolverine, it was no secret. But you never saw his suit, only meeting him a week after he jumped into your timeline. Shaking your head at his question, you pulled your lower lip between your teeth, gnawing on the skin to help combat the butterflies in your stomach. The swishing of your hair from side-to-side aiding in cooling you down. âThen what made you choose yellow and blue?â His smirk never let off as he asked, prying. He wanted to fully talk about the photo, he wanted to see if it was truly accidental or planned. Your mouth went dry when he asked, not having a concrete answer for why you chose that color scheme. Shrugging you tightly laughed, releasing your lip as you focused on your mirror. âI thought it was a pretty combination.â
Pretty, by association it was like you were calling Logan pretty. Even if you didnât know about his original suit, still he associated himself with those colors. Logan mirrored how you were before, pulling his own bottom lip between his teeth as he chuckled. Struggling for a moment, Logan managed to flip his camera around to pan at his legs â the clean yellow and blue pants is all he had to remember his original suit. It caused your heartrate to pick up again, hammering in your chest as you got a brief glimpse at his clothed crotch. It took every fiber of your being to contain yourself, to hide the whimper clawing up the back of your throat. Lost in thought of what he could be hiding under there you didnât notice how the screen flashed a few times â a text bubble popping up you couldnât focus on. Logan took screenshots of your reaction.
The camera flipped back to Loganâs face, the heat cresting its way up your neck as you stared at him, your own pupils blown out. âDo you still think so?â He teased, dropping his voice down a few octaves. You could tell he was wearing his headphones to talk, making it more intimate for him to hear than everyone else. It sent your body up in flames at how you could say anything, and it would be only for Logan. âMore than ever before.â It was a no-brained response, you didnât have to think in order to speak. Your mind was already as alert as it was going to be, the filter around Logan you had previously no longer existed on this call. Logan stopped his walking to stare down at you, narrowing his eyes with a genuine smile as he licked his lips, nodding to himself.
Logan jutted his chin out towards the camera as he started to walk up another well-lit street, never taking his eyes off the camera. âYou wanna show me what my colors are hiding under there?â He nodded towards your bathrobe, a sliver of the bra showing against the fur collar. There was one of two ways this couldâve gone, either play into it or shy away. This was clearly an attempt from Logan to see how far youâd want to go with him, really a test for if this was accidental. Mutual pining after one another for so long burnt you both out, so if it kept going there would be no tell when it would stop. The power was now in your hands, there wasnât much else you could play with. Putting on your best innocent eyes, you let the pretty little smile fall to your mouth, puffing your lower lip out slightly. âDunno â you sure you can handle it?â Game on.
The sassy tone you let on with your question had Loganâs pants tightening, his breath coming out in sharp bursts as he tried to control himself. Having animalistic tendencies meant that anytime he was aroused, he needed to stake his claim. Show the world who you belong to, who his mate was. Even if you didnât know, he did. He could smell it on you any time you went past him, or when you looked at him. In another life, in another world you were his â and he planned to make you his on Earth-10005 as well. Huffing out a disbelieving laugh, Logan snorted as he stopped in his tracks, pressing his back against the brick wall of one of the local pubs. âI can handle you, missy.â Logan hissed, letting his eyes go naturally wide to signify how serious he was. The low growl seeping up from his throat made your body shiver, made your fingers work slowly to undo the ties on your bathrobe. âDonât get it twisted.â
You couldnât help but snort to yourself as you heard Logan say that, never expecting the 200-year-old man to say something so modern. Laughing lowly as you stripped out of the bathrobe, you let a sliver of your chest show, how your robe fell off of your shoulder. Loganâs eyes narrowed in to watch you take it off, the silk falling behind you. All that he could see was the plush skin of your breasts hanging slightly over the cups, nothing more. A weak moan slipped past his parted lips as he watched, needing to shut his eyes for a moment so he wouldnât cum in his pants. You knew you had Logan right where you wanted him, letting you take the control back of the situation. It made you feel powerful knowing he was so weak for you, even if it was for a short period of time. âEw, Wade needs to stop teaching you catchphrases of the early 2010âs.â You werenât a tease all the time, you could see Loganâs labored breathing through the call, could tell he needed a distraction.
Your remark was enough to make Logan open his eyes again, staring at you with a predatory glint in his eyes; The whites almost impossible to see. âWhy are you changing the subject?â He panted, standing upright again as he pressed his covered back to the wall, cocking a brow in your direction. You werenât prepared for Loganâs retort, thinking you may have the upper hand while he was aroused, yet he always managed to surprise you. Sucking your teeth, you shook your head in confusion, rolling your eyes away from his gaze. âAw, is someone flustered?â He pouted, smiling with a hint of smugness. Your mouth falling open in a silent gasp made him chuckle, finding it quite adorable how youâre trying so hard. The burning across your face was a clear indication to you that Logan was getting under your skin, trying his hardest to truly break you. It wasnât in a callous or mean way, but more to show you who you belonged to. Putting the phone closer to his face so you could see only him, he made sure he was loud and clear. âDonât worry princess, Iâll be nice and gentle.â
âFuck off, Howlett.â You laughed as you rolled your eyes, exposing your cleavage to the camera without realizing it, your cool slipping through your fingers. The dead giveaway of how he was affecting you came in the form of your camera shaking, your fingers betraying you as you tried to suck in a deep breath. Looking away from the camera didnât help when Logan stared like he was going to eat you alive, devouring you with every glint his eyes gave. You had to admit it to yourself, your confidence reserve was running out, completely going dry the longer you sat and talked with Logan. If he didnât act now, he was forever going to hold his peace. âIâd rather fuck you.â It flowed off his tongue so elegantly, never deterring his steps as he managed to walk again. At first you thought you may have misheard him but, you heard him loud and clear, perfect in fact.
The shock written across your face, mixed with desire caused Loganâs restraint to snap. He moved away from the bars entrance and instead kept straight, letting the cold November air nip at him a bit longer. For the first time in a long time, you were speechless. Mouth hanging open, brow creased with a mix of shock and anxiety, you were going through it within seconds, all because of dear Logan. The confidence, the bravado, the je ne sais quoi you have held on the up and up finally slipping. Revealing itself when the shy version of yourself you thought you buried. The submissive angel, Logan had you wrapped tightly around his hand, reminiscent of his old cage fighting wraps. âEye-fucking can only get you so far, princess.â Logan knew you wouldnât pull away now, you were putty in his hands. But he could have a little fun with you, and boy did he plan to. It was a sure thought that you werenât as obvious as you may have thought when staring at Logan, silently begging him to fuck you. The whole time, he knew.
âYouâve known?â It was a silly question to ask but Logan wasnât stupid. Heâs been around for more than 200 years, he could see through stuff as it came through. He is also very well known for retorting back no but I do now, pretending to know a secret as a way to coax you into telling him. You had to make sure this wasnât like that â or else youâd implode. Logan nodded at you as the lights started to dim around him, a gentle glow from afar lighting the edges of his face. He was still outside but away from the light pollution, an alleyway most likely. Propping his phone up on the closest discarded shelf near a door, he nodded as he pulled out his flask. âNo shit Iâve known, you can thank Yukio for that one.â Yukio, your friend. There was no malicious feelings towards her for telling Logan, in fact she may have done you a favor. But it got you thinking, who else did she tell? Was it one giant secret that the whole group knew, hence why they tried to push you both together constantly? âShe tells Wade everything.â
And there it was, the shot heard âround the world. It made sense that she told Wade, and Wade blabbed to Logan â Yukio would never face the conflict head-on, it went through a source. Releasing the breath you were unaware you were holding, you nodded into the open air as you sunk further against the bed, a bead of sweat gathering on your hairline. The back of your throat felt tight, dry, highly uncomfortable for your own liking. Trying to swallow was like trying to fit a watermelon into a wine bottle, impossible due to how high your blood pressure was. Now that the light pollution of the city wasnât creating streaks of orange across his screen, he could fully take in your shocked state â seeing the tears gathering in the corner of your eyes. âWhat? You didnât think Iâd feel the same way?â Logan asked honestly, no longer keeping up the teasing. Seeing the distress on your face caused him to pull back, wanting you to tell him when it was good. He wasnât going to push further; He didnât want to ruin this.
The chord of your neck worked to string your words together, trying to find the best match to speak. Nothing felt, nor sounded right on your tongue; It drove you mad. âNo, but I thought it was a fantasy more than anything.â You squeaked, coughing to bring some moisture back to your throat. Adjusting yourself on the floor, you brought the camera down a bit, pulling it further back for comfort â a typical position for you. Logan noticed though, how he could see you bright and clear as day, in your pale-yellow bra, that you had just for him. The slightly darker color of your nipple crept through the fabric, causing his pants to tighten, but he wouldnât tease you further unless you felt better. âCanât fantasies come true?â It was Loganâs last-ditch effort to ease the anxiety rising in your stomach. It helped, hearing him say that. It didnât feel awkward anymore, it didnât feel scary. It was beautiful, the start of something more.
âAre you sitting on the floor?â You pulled your camera back to pan it around yourself, showing off your little number as you sat, pulling your legs into a criss-crossed position. âYeah, I got spooked off my bed thank you very much!â You stated with a smirk, showing how you were teasing. Logan liked how you said it, acting all sassy as you puffed out your bottom lip. It was cute, you looked precious to him. Everything about you made Logan feel alive, like his life was worth living instead of drowning it with the bottle. You made him want to be a better man, to settle down, start a family â anything you wanted he would give you even if you asked. That, is how much he loved you. âFlip your camera around.â He motioned, twirling his finger as he drank from his flask, groaning at the taste.
Obeying his command, you flipped your camera around as you showed him the mirror right in front of you. Waving cutely through it to him, you fluttered your legs as you sat, anticipation eating its way through you. Seeing the softness of your belly against your thong sent his mind spiraling, his eyes flickering to the fabric down further, hoping to God he could see your arousal. For a moment he took you in, how shy you were getting under his gaze. Hell, he could see the goosebumps forming themselves on your thighs, wanting to sink his teeth into the plushness of your flesh. Nudging his head towards you, his next command was on the tip of his tongue. âSpread your legs, câmon.â The way it rolled out of his mouth like warm honey had your eyes wavering, threatening to roll back.
Slowly you began by uncrossing your legs, sticking your feet up absentmindedly towards the mirror, making sure to wiggle your toes under the stockings. It was a good tactic for teasing; Logan was living for your control. As your clothed claves hit the rug, you started to swing your legs open, letting each inch of the fabric rub against your soft legs. The sensation sent a shiver down your spine, which didnât go unnoticed by Logan, reveling in how responsive you are. âThatâs it, good girl.â The fated words that made you lose yourself every time, fell out of Loganâs mouth so naturally. As he spoke that blissful name to you, finally your legs were fully open, able to see every little bit of you. It felt good, right to have his eyes on you. He wasnât someone who could hide his emotions well nowadays, utterly losing it the longer he stayed with Wade. But in this moment you saw the true reserve on his face, the realization that even though heâs in some back barâs alleyway, anyone could see him. The arousal coating his face, how his eyes focused harder to make out that tiny banana-yellow stain of your wetness on your panties, he was so lost in this moment. âLean back, get comfortable. Eyes on me.â
âYes, sir.â You nodded as you leaned back fully against the side of your bed. Reaching to your left, you grabbed at the tripod Nega got you for your birthday this year, shortening the neck of it to sit perfectly to your side. Shaky hands did not make for stable camera work. Something in the back of your mind said this would be the best thing for him; No shaky cam as he directed you, all hands free just for him, it was the perfect pick. Pushing your phone quickly into the top slot of the tripod, you placed your hands on the inside of your thighs, tickling the soft flesh as you awaited Loganâs next words. Beneath the lace, he could see your perky nipples pebbling at the mere instructions he was giving you â silently berating himself for not going over to your apartment and showing you why they call him an animal.
âYouâre such a good listener. Donât think, just do.â You werenât even trying at this rate, you naturally fell into the submissive role so easily. A commanding personality like Logan always made you fold, obeying each word like it was spoken from God. Itâs the reason it made you so special in the bedroom; Itâs the reason Logan became obsessed with you. Seeing your submissive side slip through the cracks every now and again made him yearn, a man starved. He could have anyone and all he needed was you. âListening so well for me.â It was what you could do well in this moment, even with the steady flow of blood pumping through your ears. The whooshing and thumping making it difficult to hear anything other than Logan; The current making room like Moses parted the Red Sea, only he shall walk on through. âShow me, sweetheart.â You felt like you were burning up, from the inside out. Cooking hotter by the words Logan was saying, not able to keep your cool anymore. The husk of his voice, mixed with the lucidness of the alcohol slipping around his tongue made you see stars. If it was possible, youâd cum just from his voice.
Antsy was a perfect descriptor of how you were feeling at the moment, suspense eating right through your chest as the insinuation in Loganâs voice. âShow you what, Lo?â Ah, yes. Your last semblance of control before Logan completely shit-stomped it. An irritated groan fell between Loganâs mouth as he slammed his hands against the wall, the shelving where you were propped up on shaking. His head dangled between his shoulders as he breathed heavily. âShow me how you touch yourself when you think of me.â That was the final straw, the endless teasing towards one another had finally broken. There would never be a way to go back from this, and you fucking thanked whatever or whoever was listening. Check fucking mate, Logan Howlett. That was all you needed to push forward.
You pulled at the side of your panties, swinging it onto the other side of your cunt as you opened your thighs up a bit more. The delicious stretch was aiding in the opening of your folds, letting the crisp air of your room lap through them. Logan drew his head up as he heard your silence, a painful growl slipping through his lips as he drew his brow together in pain. Nothing in this world couldâve prepared him for the sight he sees in front of him, the picture perfect gorgeousness, the thing he wanted tattooed on his brain. It was the purest form of Logan you couldâve possibly gotten; Veins of his neck bulging, eyes slanted so close to being closed, labored breathing like he ran a marathon. This was The Wolverine.
The sight on your phone made a fresh wave of your slick run out of your cunt, seeping onto the thin fabric between your cheeks. Using your first and forefinger to part yourself, you made sure to keeps your eyes on the mirror, eyeing the camera as you rubbed your pearly nub. The bead erect with arousal, begging to be touched. A simple flick of your finger across it had your entire lower half jolting. The sensation almost too much for your sensitive clit. Chewing on your bottom lip to help calm you down, slowly you began to make tentative circles with your first and middle finger, getting used to the sensation as your other hand slipped right under your bed to your secret box, one that no one would suspect.
Logan didnât miss how you rubbed yourself so tenderly, loving yourself in the greatest way possible, while watching the perverse side of him come alive. He felt so naughty watching you masturbate, listening to his directions in the fucking alleyway. If he ran fast enough, he could be at your apartment before you made yourself orgasm, able to eat you out until you were crying for him to stop. No, thisâll do. He also didnât miss how you reached frantically under your bed, eyes still on him as you grabbed a velvet bag. The purple glistened against the LED strips lights in your room, the multichrome coloring reflecting rainbows against your fingers. Quickly you worked the bag open, trying to grab at the first toy you could reach. Of course, it was not only the biggest dildo you had, but also happened to be yellow and blue. When Logan saw that, girth and all, he was roiling.
With how wet you were, you didnât need lube to push your toy into you. Needy didnât even touch upon how you felt. âEasy there baby, inch at a time. Ease it in, thatâs it.â Logan cooed as you struggled to stretch around your toy, the burn already aiding in your arousal. Nodding at Loganâs words, you slowly inched the toy within your tight hole, never letting up on your clit to aid in the stretch. âL-Lo,â you moaned out quickly, eyes rolling back as your head lulled. If Logan was anything like this toy, youâd be unable to walk in the morning, you were hoping for that. âWhat, sweetheart? Feel too good?â Logan mewled as he gripped his tented cock through his pants, reveling in the harshness at which he was grabbing it. The bark he let out made your body shake, the thickest part of your dildo fully sheathed inside of you. âYou deserve to feel this good honey, youâre the best girl.â
The praise was too much as you reached the base of the toy, your lower belly feeling so full of it. Carefully you pulled back on the toy, letting half of it out before you pushed it back in. The rigidness of the silicone rubbing against your spongy spot made you gasp, a throaty moan slipping into the nightâs air, echoing throughout Loganâs headphones. âThatâs my girl, nice and steady baby.â Logan had no idea what he was even saying anymore, or where he was going. All he knew was that his mouth was going and his feet were moving. Where theyâd end up? Heâd find out sooner or later. Palming himself as he steadily walked, Logan cut down the corner of the alley, making his way left. âStretch that cunt out for me honey. Iâll fill you real soon.â Looking down at his screen all he could see was your blissed out face, the hearty stretch of your pussy around your toy, and the absolutely hot sight of your glistening body in his colors. âJust keep going, focus on my voice.â
Nodding at his words, you started to move the toy faster inside of you. The grip you had on the base helped it to conform to your cunt, filling in every ridge. Words escaped you in this moment, all you could do was focus on Loganâs face on your phone, watching how he never looked up at he walked, eyeing you like you were the World Series. Cresting behind your eyes was your orgasm, threatening to take you out with one swipe of your fingers. You couldnât finish so soon, you wanted Logan to see exactly how it was for you. But there was no use, your arousal was so high, you were going to cum one way or another. The small squeak you let out caused Logan to stop in his tracks, glaring down at the phone will his full, undivided attention. âLook at the mirror baby, watch how sexy you are when you cum.â The breathy moan to which he released those words caused you to unleash the deepest groan you could muster, eyes blown out to nothing as you looked in the mirror.
Just like that, like the snap of your fingers, that string tethering you and Logan together snapped. Everything went white. Your ears rang as your throat became raw â yet no sound broke through. The sweetest coaxing could be heard miles away but yet it faded quickly. The world wasnât spinning or moving for that matter. Instead, it was just staying still, letting you soak in this orgasmic bliss. Slowly the fog began to clear for you, your vision turning solid again as you watched the mirror. Heavy panting made up the sound coming back. The shaking of your body slowing down the longer you twirled the toy inside of you, rubbing your fingers deftly across your clit. Little by little, the blissful nature of your orgasm satiating that deep hunger looming in your chest. âThatâs my good girl, making me so proud.â Loganâs tender voice cut through the staticky sound as your breathing steadiest itself. Licking your lips as you let your eyes wander around your room, you noticed that your tripod was a lot taller than you initially realized, almost looming over you as your fingers never stopped. Only that wasnât your tripod, and that voice you heard was coming from directly beside you.
âHi, princess,â Logan smirked into the mirror, meeting your gaze as you realized what was happening. It took a moment for it to register, wondering why he looked so much bigger now. Watching the figure of Logan reach between your legs in the mirror, it only clicked to you when you felt his grip close around the base of the dildo, pulling it out of you with cautionary ease. Shivering from the loss of girth within you, you snapped your head to the right as Logan caught your eyes. Smirking, he waved the wet dildo at you, chuckling as he threw it onto the bed. âH-Hey Logan,â you managed to let out, gulping down the pool of saliva in your bed. Nudging his chin behind you, Logan ran his calloused fingers over your chin, gripping your skin firmly. âGet on the bed.â It wasnât an ask, it wasnât a question. It was an order.
âLogan-â you began, but were stopped when Logan grabbed at your throat, pushing against your pulse point with two fingers. The new sensation made your core clench around nothing, pulsating openly as you looked into Loganâs obsidian eyes, trying to make out what was going to happen. âNow.â Logan ordered, grabbing you by the neck and waist as he helped you up. Standing on wobbly knees was not a good idea, but damn it if it didnât feel good. It took a moment to acclimate back into your body, Loganâs bodyweight kept you upright as you struggled. âDonât make me tell you again, you wonât like that.â The threat made you want to break it, break him. Playing a brat for him would be a fun adventure, but the desperate nature of your arousal made you reconsider. Yet you were naturally doing it, and Logan was going to love punishing you later. âVery good girl.â Logan praised as you slowly sat back onto the bed, letting the silky material of the duvet caress your body.
How did he get in here? That was a question crossing your mind, nothing else but how. He wasnât there all the time and you knew it, remembering that you were FaceTiming him. Narrowing your eyes in the direction of the bedroom door, you thankfully had a clear view to your front door, seeing that it was shut but â not quite perfect anymore. A smirk laid across your lips as you noticed the claw marks on the door, specifically around the doorknob, you assumed on both sides. Plus, the small splinter on top of his hand that he is currently picking out was enough tell for you. Logan had used his claws to unlock your door and get into your apartment. He was never going to the bar, this entire time he was walking to your apartment. It made sense now. This whole time he was coming to make you his. The revelation caused you to whimper out of pure love, no longer lust. Of course though, that didnât last long. For what you saw next, shook you to your core.
Standing in between your legs was Logan fucking Howlett. The Wolverine. No longer did he wear his TVA jacket he was given earlier this year, but instead stood shirtless over you. The sweat on his body caused his chiseled physique to glisten in your room, his natural musk making your hornier by the second. His pants you had seen earlier of the same color scheme you are wearing, brushing wonderfully against your baren thighs. The reinforced nylon feeling like silk across your skin. Panning your eyes up to his hands, slowly Logan started to release his claws, inch by inch. A pained expression crossed across his mouth at the extension, but he fucking loved it. Why can I only see half of his face? As your eyes made their way upwards, no longer could you see his darkened eyes, instead replaced with something that shouldnât have been considered hot. Across his eyes, around the top of his head was The Wolverine cowl, complete with, as Wade called them, blowjob handles. The animal himself, standing right between your legs.
You sunk back slowly on your elbows, stretching your legs open wider to fit all of him. Biting your lip, you looked up at Logan between your lashes, panting like a bitch in heat as you take him all in. âYou want to see the real power yellow and blue really holds?â He growled, lightly tracing the dull edge of his claws against your sides. Yes, you do. Needless to say, this was the start of you wearing his colors, especially if this would happen every time.

Mr. Tsukishima Kei was known as the strict, no-nonsense math teacher, infamous for assigning challenging homework and expecting punctuality from his students. Across the hall, however, was Ms. Y/N, the quirky art teacher who taught in a classroom full of painted murals, plants, and knick-knacks. Her students affectionately called her âAuntie,â loving her warm personality and encouraging nature.
Despite their differences, the two had quietly been dating for some time now, keeping things subtle so as not to spark gossip in the school hallways. But as careful as they tried to be, some moments were just too sweet to hide from their observant students.
Every morning, Tsukishima would stop by Y/Nâs room before classes started. Though their relationship was mostly kept under wraps, there was one routine they couldnât help but shareâheâd bring her coffee, just the way she liked it, and stay for a few moments before his first class.
One particular morning, a student passing by happened to catch sight of them. Y/N was sitting at her desk, fiddling with paintbrushes while Tsukishima leaned against the edge of her desk, coffee cup in hand. She looked up at him with a bright smile as he handed her the coffee.
âThank you, Kei! You know, I think your coffee runs are the best part of my day.â
âMaybe if you went to bed at a reasonable hour, you wouldnât need this much caffeine,â he replied, rolling his eyes, though there was a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
âBedtime? Reasonable? Youâre talking to an artist, Kei!â She chuckled, raising her coffee cup in mock cheers.
The student whoâd witnessed it ran back to their friends, spilling the details in hushed, excited whispers. âGuys, Auntie totally has Mr. Tsukishima wrapped around her finger. Heâs bringing her coffee like itâs a daily thing!â
During lunch breaks, Tsukishima would sometimes slip away from the teachersâ lounge and make his way to Y/Nâs art room, which was usually open to students who wanted to work on projects or just hang out with their favorite teacher. Though heâd never admit it out loud, Tsukishima was growing fond of this habit too.
One afternoon, Y/N was holding a brush in each hand, struggling to finish a mural one of her classes had started. Tsukishima approached, watching her for a moment as she fumbled with paint colors.
âNeed a hand?â he asked, taking one of the brushes out of her grasp without waiting for an answer. He began painting in neat, deliberate strokes, adding to the vibrant, playful mural.
âMr. Tsukishima,â Y/N grinned, âare you sure you can handle all this color?â
He just shrugged, pretending to be annoyed, but there was a glint in his eye. âItâs not my fault youâre terrible at ladders.â
The students present watched with wide eyes as their usually stern math teacher helped their beloved art teacher, even taking her playful teasing without so much as a sigh. âIs he⊠actually smiling?â one student whispered, amazed. âAnd helping her paint? Theyâre definitely dating.â
On Fridays, Y/N would stay late to finish up art projects, often leaving well after most of the other teachers had already gone home. But one evening, as she was cleaning up her brushes, she was startled by a familiar voice at the door.
âDidnât I tell you not to stay this late alone?â Tsukishimaâs tone was gentle, though there was a hint of concern.
âOh, but I had just one more layer of glaze to apply! I didnât want to leave it unfinished,â she replied, smiling sheepishly.
Tsukishima sighed and moved to take some of the supplies from her hands, setting them aside. âThat can wait. You shouldnât be here by yourself. Come on, Iâll walk you out.â
They left together, but not before another student, leaving basketball practice, caught sight of them walking side by side down the hallway, Tsukishimaâs hand brushing hers in a quiet, comforting gesture.
âDid you see that?â the student whispered to a friend the next day. âMr. Tsukishima totally waited for Auntie after school. Heâs such a softie for her.â
When Field Day rolled around, Y/N was the designated supervisor for the art activities station. Her students flocked to her booth, excited to paint, tie-dye, and get a break from competitive games. Tsukishima, though not usually one for field activities, had somehow found himself âvolunteeredâ to help out at her station by none other than Y/N herself.
At first, heâd tried to stay in the background, sorting supplies and ensuring everything was organized. But as more students lined up, Y/N pulled him over to assist with face painting. âCome on, Kei, itâs fun! Donât be so serious,â she teased, handing him a paintbrush.
He gave her a long-suffering look but, after a few convincing nudges, gave in. Soon, students were giggling at the sight of Mr. Tsukishima painting bright flowers and animals on their cheeks.
âMr. Tsukishima, can you paint a dragon?â one student asked, grinning. And to everyoneâs surprise, Tsukishima nodded, actually putting in the effort to paint a rather impressive dragon.
Meanwhile, Y/N leaned in close, watching him with a proud smile. âSee? I knew you had a colorful side.â
The students at the booth exchanged knowing looks, watching the way Tsukishimaâs gaze softened every time he looked at Y/N. One bold student whispered, âTheyâre definitely together. I think Auntieâs the only person who could get him to paint a dragon.â
The biggest reveal came on Y/Nâs birthday. Her classroom was decorated with student-made banners, handmade cards, and small, thoughtful gifts from her students. But the real surprise came when Tsukishima walked in with a bouquet of wildflowers, which he set on her desk, much to the shock of her students.
âKeiâŠâ Y/N murmured, her eyes shining with surprise. âYou didnât have toââ
âHappy Birthday, Auntie,â he said simply, giving her a small, genuine smile before glancing pointedly at the students, who were watching, open-mouthed. He gave them his usual glare but, seeing the excitement in their eyes, eventually gave up on hiding it.
And with that, the students finally had their confirmation. They all whispered to each other excitedly, some even daring to give Tsukishima approving thumbs-up. From that day on, Tsukishimaâs âmonster math teacherâ title softened in their eyes. He was still strict and demanding, but he was also the teacher who went out of his way to make their âAuntieâ happy.
As the weeks went by, more little moments started to unfold between themâmoments the students watched eagerly, as if they were witnessing a real-life romance. And while Tsukishima might not have been the most affectionate in public, he showed his care in small, steady ways, making sure Y/N was looked after and supported in the little things.

Oh, my gossssssssssh. I am in love with this fic and him!
Okay, this girl's got a lot to point out. Please bare with me. xD
No matter how he fought it down, a small tinge of worry, and the beginnings of disappointment churned in his gut. His brows furrowed. Did you regret it already?
My stomach actually sank.
âWe take it day by day,â heâd told you, with a sizzling kiss that stole your breath. âAll I know isâŠthis feels good.â
Controlled breathing was necessary. But also, I feel like there were some great layers here. Dean allowing himself to feel good? And not just for one night. Admitting it and actually pursuing more? Yessssss. He deserves that.
Him sleeping better with her next to him--a classic. Never gets old. <3
Whatâs more, after years of looking into your eyes and seeing all the possibilities of what if, he was finally getting to make those images solid, and real. He could touch them, taste them, feel them under his calloused hands. He finally had you for real.
This whole paragraph was beautiful. Also, it was a moment where, if someone simply handed it to me with no other context, I would know it was yours. It felt like you.
Her rings being such an identifier was a great detail that fit so well with the reveal at the end. Smart, smart writing!
His disappointment was settling high in his chest now; an ache approaching pain.
More stomach sinking.
âWhatâs this?â you whispered, swiping two fingers between the crunch in his brows.
Loved this! Definitely have had something similar in my head while daydreaming. A little sassy, but mostly lovingly concerned. (Again, so very you.)
âWhen I woke up, I saw one fell off the nightstand. Have a feeling it had something to do with the bedframe knocking against it." At that, Dean couldnât contain his lazy smirk.
My stomach was doing something different this time. LMAO.
The end of the first section--how he still had questions but just decided to trust her and her judgment. Brilliant. And proved that he really is ready for more.
And in that first section, I simply could not figure out what she was off doing or what it meant for them. The reveal was as satisfying as the guessing. That might actually be my favorite part of this piece--the fact that I could not figure out where it was going. But also, she spent her early morning baking him a pie? My heart got gooier than its filling! =']
And it just got better from there. He forgot his own birthday? OUCH. His emotion over her gesture? Love, love, love. And their use of touch? So tender and sweet.
So, yeah, I was a fan of this one. xD<3

Dean woke to the sound of pouring rain hitting the roof of the bunker.
It mustâve been some torrential downpour, because it took a lot for him to hear anything of the outside world from inside this place. Good thing the old heaters kept out the January cold, too. Nothing worse than frigid rain.
Blearily he cracked his eyes open, unearthed an arm from where it was tucked under his pillow, and carefully raised his phone to check the time, trying not to let the light from the screen burn his retinas in the still dark room.
4:00 a.m.
He groaned. Goddamn it.
He turned over onto his other side to face where you shouldâve been lying next to him. He frowned when he saw nothing but the sheets pulled back and a dented, empty pillow.
No matter how he fought it down, a small tinge of worry, and the beginnings of disappointment churned in his gut. His brows furrowed.
Did you regret it already?
After his first make out session with you (turned more session) in the backseat of his Baby, you two struck a tentative agreement to figure what this could beâmore than hunting partners, allies, and friends. Despite the fact that you kissed him first (a fact he didnât easily let you forget), afterwards, youâd been a little hesitant about what came next.
âWe take it day by day,â heâd told you, with a sizzling kiss that stole your breath. âAll I know isâŠthis feels good.â
It felt right. You had definitely agreed with that.
Dean sighed through his nose, turning back onto his other side. It wasnât unusual for him to be a light (restless) sleeper, but the handful of times youâd joined him in his bed had been beginning to make his nights calmer. He was actually starting to sleep through until morning.
Whatâs more, after years of looking into your eyes and seeing all the possibilities of what if, he was finally getting to make those images solid, and real. He could touch them, taste them, feel them under his calloused hands. He finally had you for real.
He looked past your empty spot in his bed and didnât see your phone, or any of your rings on the nightstand. They were the first things you put on in the morning, and the last things you took off at night.
If those were goneâŠ
His disappointment was settling high in his chest now; an ache approaching pain.
Until he heard the light sound of bare feet padding back toward the bed. Your hand slid gently up his arm, and after the surprise wore off, the corners of his lips tugged upwards. Your hair was a bit wild and frizzy. It tickled his neck and shoulder when you leaned in to kiss his cheek.
âWhatâs this?â you whispered, swiping two fingers between the crunch in his brows. Dean relaxed with a small smile.
âNothinâ,â he claimed. His voice was deep and rough with sleep. âHad an appointment to get to or something?â
You smiled and settled into bed, embracing him from behind. He turned onto his back and welcomed you over, with an arm curling around your waist. He rested his hand on yours when it smoothed across his chest.
Subtly glancing down, he didnât find any of the silver you wore on the daily, including the ring with a small turquoise stone heâd bought you a couple weeks ago, on a hunt in Denver. That one, you now almost never took off.
âI put them away in a drawer,â you said, wiggling your fingers under his hand. Your hand felt dry, and a little like you'd been handling something dusty. Had you been up reading in the library again, lost track of time? âWhen I woke up, I saw one fell off the nightstand. Have a feeling it had something to do with the bedframe knocking against it.â
At that, Dean couldnât contain his lazy smirk.
âMy bad,â he said, sounding anything but sorry.
You laughed, shaking your head. You still laid a kiss below his shoulder before you settled back down. He gave your waist a gentle squeeze, pressing a kiss of his own to your forehead. A deep breath fell from between his lips, and his eyes closed.
A question was on the tip of his tongue. Where you were, why you got up. Was it something he could help with? Or was it one of those moments you needed to have alone, not unlike the times you gave him to settle with his thoughts, after a hunt gone sideways. If it was important, youâd level with him, wouldnât you?
So he let it be.
In the morning, you somehow once again managed to get out of bed without him feeling it. He didnât hear you either. Curiosity led him down the hall and glancing inside the cracked door of Samâs room. It was empty, his running shoes gone from the side of his bed. Dean rolled his eyes.
All right, Lance.
Oh, wait, that was biking. âŠWhatever.
Deanâs next path inevitably took him down to the kitchen. His stomach was already percolatingâin need of good coffee and (hopefully) good food.
The smell wafting from the kitchen surprised him, however. Cinnamon apples?
He turned the corner, and there he found you.
The fuck?
You looked a bit of a mess. Your hair was thrown up into a haphazard bun, and youâd stolen his apron. Though in his eyes, you made it look better, the white fabric hugging around your curves like you were Rachel Ray or something. You were frazzled when he came downstairs, but happy to see him. You beckoned him over and sat him down at the small kitchen table.
âSweetheart, whatâs going on here?â he asked, eying you curiously.
âJust stay there!â you called from the kitchen. He heard you opening the oven, cursing when you nearly dropped something.
What the hell were you doing baking before 9:00 a.m.?
He turned to ask you what was going on (and if you needed help), but before the words could come out of his mouth, you came over and carefully set down the pie in front of him. The rich aroma, the golden flaky crust, the flecks of cinnamon and glossy apples peeking out from the divots in said crustâit all had Deanâs mouth watering, and his shocked gaze fixed on the shiny pastry.
He startled a little when he felt your hands on his shoulders, sliding part of the way down his arms. You kissed the side of his head.
âThought I wouldnât remember, did you?â you teased. âHappy Birthday, baby.â
Deanâs throat constricted. He tried not to show it, but your gaze gentled when he finally met yours, like you were seeing through all his layers anyway. He realized then what you were probably working on last night, and he really couldnât fucking believe it.
Heâd forgotten his own birthday. Couldnât see much use in celebrating, when year after crappy yearâŠ
But he closed a hand over yours on his shoulder, and he brought your hand to his lips.
Every word he couldnât yet say to you was etched in that single gesture.
AN: Short and angsty sweet! lol And the monthly prompt was "pie!" đ„§ For Dean of course. đ
Hope you guys enjoy this one! đ

hey could i ask of how al would be in a argument? itâs okay if now!!
ËË°âą*ââ· âmy love, can you hear me screaming?â alastorxreader
in which, you, his darling girl, get upset when he leaves so abruptly for the belle miss rosie. causing an argument between the two of you.
âïž warnings: swearing, sexual content implied near the end, alcohol mentioned, i donât think that really needs a warning though.
word count: uh, i forgotâŠ
it was a nice afternoon, well, as nice as it could be in hell. charlie was overthinking about some thing or another and vaggie was trying to calm the frantic princess down, which in short, was not helping.
you were excited to say the least, alastor had planned a nice dinner for the two of you, one on one. what a gentleman.
yes, it was hard to get quality time with him around the hotel, with all the ruckus going off in the background. so, heâd scheduled this just for the two of you, at a quote on quote âfancyâ restaurant on the other side of the pentagram.
angeldust was helping you get ready, rummaging through your clothes with little âtsksâ and âeughsâ at most of them.
âseriously, babes, you have nothing date worthy. you wanna borrow somethinâ of mine?â he asked, throwing dresses over his head.
âno, because al would probably be sick all over me.â you laughed, taking a roller out of your hair.
âfine, but donât blame me when you end up looking like a prude.â he shrugged.
âoh and iâd rather look like a baby prostitute?âyou giggled, he knew i didnât mean it, but it still earned me a skirt flying at my head.
he pulled out one of your old dresses, you didnât think it would even fit me now. it was red satin, cut off just above the knees. âthis could be cute.â he mumbled to himself, and then threw it at you.
you caught it and rolled your eyes. âfine.â you sighed, pulling it on. surprisingly, it did fit, even as you twirled around in the mirror.
âhow do i look?â you asked, fluffing out your hair. âlike a model, toots.â angel smiled.
he glanced around for a moment, picking up a loose blush brush, and swiping your cheeks. âthere, now you look like a super model.â
âthank you, angie.â you smiled, slipping on your heels. âgotta go or alâs gonna be pissed.â
you got to the restaurant, that was weird. alastor wasnât here? he was always early. you waited for a while, ordering a simple glass of white wine and drinking it slowly while you waited.
but still, after an hour, no sign of the radio demon. you sighed and grabbed your bag, throwing it over your shoulder and walked out.
after a long ride back to the hotel, your head was throbbing and you were pissed. what the fuck was he doing that was so important he had to miss your date?
ây/n! you okay? i heard you and alastor went out for dinner. where is he?â charlie smiled, looking behind you to try and answer her own question.
you shrugged and sighed, âdonât ask me.â before slumping up the stairs and pulling off your heels, your throbbing feet thanking you dearly.
you were mad, to say the least, another hour or two went by, and alastor still hadnât come back to the hotel.
so, you decided to just go to sleep.
you were awoken about half an hour later by the door clicking open and being slowly closed. you sat bolt upright, narrowing your eyes. âwhere the fuck have you been?â
he looked nervous, very very nervous, that stupid grin enhanced and his eyebrows furrowed. âah, darling!â
he walked up to you, but you stepped back. âdonât darling me, you left me waiting for hours. i thought we had plans?â
he sighed. âyes, yes we did. i am sorry, my dear. but rosie needed meââ
of fucking course. it was rosie. you loved the woman, no doubt about it, but it was tiring when it felt like her needs came before yours.
ârosie? rosie needed you did she? what did she need you for, al?â
he raised a brow. âdarling, i donât think thatâs any of your buisness. donât worry your sweet little head about it.â
âwell, i am worrying, im worrying because my husband, left me for another woman and wonât even explain himself!â you sighed, exasperated.
âwho do you think youâre talking to? i had places i needed to be, my love. itâs not my fault you get all insecure because i have a life. iâm an important person.â he said, calmly.
wow. the fucking nerve.
âand iâm not important to you?â you quipped, crossing your arms.
he quickly grabbed your jaw, gently as so not to hurt you. âof course youâre important, chick. i just had things that needed to be done. donât second guess how i feel.â he murmured, static straining his voice.
ânow get in bed. iâm sorry that i left you, but i donât like the fact you think you can talk to me,â he twisted your face gently, pulling you closer, âlike iâm not your husband.â
and you did as you were told.
âgood girl. iâll make it up to you, dear, just be patient.â he muttered, sliding his hand up your thigh, lips on your neck.

Silence
He was SO wrong.
Chapter 2.
Goodbye, my Canadian Swetheart.
Cw: Kidnapping, Straight up torture, Various cruel and unusual punishments, Descriptions of pain and wounds, Angst, Loss of healing factor, loss of voice, guilt, insecurity, crying, hostage situation.
Everything hurts.
Except.. It was a different type of pain. The kind he wasn't used to. Yeah, he's been used to the hilt and left out to dry in his own puddle of his blood before, but he laughed and spit out his own tooth that day. His large intestines hanging out of his body, soaking in the dirty rain like a fucked up steak marinade only to fillet the asshole who dared touch him without a safe word.
But not today. He wasn't healing today... or.. yesterday? What day was it? How long has he been here? Either way, his cells were on strike, holding up microscopic signs with âHey ho we won't go!â written on them.
A small snort came from his nose, the tiniest smile at the thought. You could torture him yeah but the only thing you're going to do is make him more crazy. Even he knew that. Hell! Everyone knew that!
So what was he trying to accomplish? I mean really, how much more fucked up could he make him?
He couldn't see much. The light above him is off the majority of the time, leaving him in complete darkness but never silence, the screams coming through the wall acting as white noise by now. But at the moment? It was on, swinging from the upstairs movement.
While he wasn't 100% sure? He thought the musty, mildew covered walls and how cold his toes were meant he was in a basement. How many flight's down? A million for all he knew. He had no clue how he even got here.
So now, as he sits, strapped and chained to the chair (that was bolted to the floor by the way) he is staring at the blank wall, studying each crack, wondering where each one came from.
They reminded him of the veins that came out of Logan's arms when he was really pissed off and red with anger. He found himself thinking about Logan a lot down here, his body heavy and his neck throbbing from the collars around it. The fucks had double collared him, keeping him tame and well behaved.
So what else was he supposed to do? Call out in hopes someone would slip from their training and come give him an opportunity to escape? But the top collar was too tight, two holes burned in the side of his neck from all the shocking with each noise he made louder than a whisper. Even a cough set it off.
He wondered, if he could speak now, would Logan come to him? Would he even hear him? Would he spare some time if he called? To come rescue his pathetic ass yet again?
Wade knew Logan loved him deep down, but he wondered if Logan even knew he was missing by now.. did he even care? Why SHOULD he care honestly? He was smart enough to know that Mr. Howlett was probably on the couch right now, unexpectedly waiting for him to come homeâŠ
And Honestly? He didn't blame him not one bit if he became buried deep in his memory, something that won't spark his attention until it's far too late.
He wondered- Would anyone come to his funeral? Would they even be able to find the body? Would Logan tell their friends about him? All the sweet gentle touches they shared? Each little date and stupid joke? Would he tell them the truth? Or would he lie and tell them how he saw him instead of how Wade saw himself..
He wondered if he could see the burning hole inside of him, that determination to keep himself from falling apart, how hard he was trying to be the best Deadpool for him.
Trying to prove to the world that he wasn't someone to wave a stick at, that he was a top notch hero just like the rest of them.. Could Logan see that?
Sure, the merc work paid well but what it did to his heart wasn't pretty. His morals have always been flexible. Too flexible.
Wade wanted to be a good person. It's why he listened to the stupid X-men to begin with. Stupid fucking virgin Colossus. Why did he have to go and make him feel like he was worth something? Like that 4 to 5 moments bullshit would actually work out in his favor?
He raised his hopes for nothing. Made him think that he too could be a hero that crowds cheered for when they saw him and kids would point him out and go âGASP!! Mommy it's Deadpool!â and he'd go âDamn right kid! Stay in school or.. whatever.â
Before kicking some major ass in front of them, to further prove just how cool he truly was. This was the only idea that was keeping him together at the seams.
To impress The Wolverine. HIS wolverine. To show him that he deserved to be on the team. One that's well respected and the government has no choice but to call HIM for help. Just a guy with regenerative cancer who really liked guns.
Well⊠now the ladder was only true but still. His point stood. Unlike him, whose legs were dull and numb from sitting so long in this piss scented concrete singular cell.
Tears came to his eyes as a terrible thought crossed his mind. How would he see him as a good hero if he would never see him again?
Now, he sits here, wondering about him.
He wished he could tell him what to do. Logan was good at this kind of thing. He was good at keeping calm and telling him what to do when he felt like this, when his body betrayed him with such unbearable pain. He would hold him and kiss him, tell him everything would be alright and somehow it always was.
Logan always made everything alright.
Logan has worked so hard to teach him how much he loved him, show him how to water it until it grew. And with just a bit of water and TLC, His rosey heart turned into something incredibly beautiful that he could hold in the palm of his big calloused hands once it blossomed.
Even with all its thorns, there was nobody better than him that he wanted to spend his (apparently) no longer eternal life with. Tears sting his dehydrated dry eyes as they drip down his cheeks, squeezing his eyes tightly shut, wishing this was all just a dream. But still he had the same request..
If only he could see Loganâs face again before he died⊠he'd be happy..
The heavy metal door opens, Sending just enough excitement through his body to sit his head up, looking at the man who was slowly walking towards him. Was he wrong?! Did he doubt him too much? Has he come to rescue him princess style and blow this place to smithereens while walking away in slow motion?
All he knew? There was only one other man that he wanted to see right now..
â..Logan?â

âJust breathe with me, darling.
(Rivals) Rupert Campbell-Black x Reader
Suggestion by a sweet anon đ«¶đœ I hope this was what you envisioned! / Rupert calms you down after a panic attack. Anxiety warning.
18+ FANFIC / Soft. Not too long but as always, got carried away! Reader character aged 21.
As always, request what you wanna see on my ask box đ
Incessantly tapping the edge of your pen against your desk, the skin of your lip peeled under your canine as you anxiously chewed at the corners of your mouth. It was 4pm, and you had turned your production notes into Tony Baddinghamâs office precisely 24 minutes ago for his approval. At the moment, work was hard. Tony did his absolute best to berate, humiliate and insult you. All because you and Rupert Campbell-Black had made yourselves official and the whole office was astutely aware that they despised each other.
Taking a quick glance over at his office, you caught a glimpse of your superior pacing up and down his office, flicking nonchalantly through your notes, not quite taking them in and not at all caring. Your vision went black as a pair of rugged hands covered your eyes. Breathing in, your mind immediately calmed â You recognised that sweet, aromatic aftershave from anywhere. âGuess who?â The opulent, inebriating voice sounded from behind you. You couldnât help but grin and spin round in your chair as the hands removed themselves from your eyeline. Rupert, smartly clad in his hunting gear, was holding the most tremendous bouquet of flowers one had ever seen â lavish bunches of roses, lavender, and peonies. An exquisite array of colours and the most stunning fragrance. âRupert! You shouldnât have!â You burst with glee, standing up and throwing your arms around his neck, embracing him and pinning yourself to him tightly. The grin plastered across his jaws was unlike Rupert â a pure, genuine display of joy. You had really got under his skin, for the better.
âI was passing on my way to the hunt. I thought you could do with cheering up, I know that miserable bastard has been getting on your nerves as of late.â He muttered the last part, and shot you a wink. Rupert wasnât passing â in fact, the florist was precisely 15 minutes away from the location of the hunt, and Coriniumâs office was 26. He just couldnât resist seeing that beaming smile on your face. From his office, Lord Baddingham had been keeping a firm eye on you both, and swung his door wide open. âWhat are you doing here? Who let you in? Get out.â The erratic man spoke, pointed finger waving brutishly at Rupert. Your lover jokingly threw his hands up in defeat, and took a step back from your desk. âIâm going, Iâm going.â He spun around on his heel to leave, but quickly turned back. âJust quickly, Tony, how are your ratings doing since Declan left? I heard from a certain insider that they are absolutely tanking.â A devilish grin painted Rupertâs face as he spoke, he knew exactly which buttons to press of Tony to make him explode. Tonyâs face grew a remarkable crimson shade, and you could almost physically see the steam rush to escape his ears. âGet the FUCK out of here, you cunt! You and your fucking whore! Youâre SACKED!â Spit flew from the corners of Tonyâs enraged mouth, fists clenching so tight his nails were drawing blood from his palms.
Despite sitting in a web of his own making, the red mist subsequently descended over Rupert and he raised his own clenched first to swing a punch. Except, he would have done, had he not first heard frantic hyperventilating from the seat beneath him. You threw an outstretched palm across your chest â trying to calm your breathing. But, it was futile. You felt your throat constrict and your vision tunnel in. Tony, along with everyone else in the office, watched in stunned silence as your panic attack tightened its cruel vice over your body. Rupert, however, immediately knelt beside you and pushed your chin upwards with a curled finger. âHey, hey, angel. Breathe. Just breathe with me, darling.â
Rupert kept his distance at first, not wanting to constrict you anymore than you already felt. Instead, he maintained constant eye contact and took slow, calm deep breaths whilst facing you, urging you to do the same. God, this man could fix anything. Steadily, Rupert took a hold of your hand and placed it over his heartâ allowing you to feel the rhythmic thumping and encouraging your own to fall into the same beat. Wiping tears away with your other hand, you took a trembling exhale and allowed yourself to take a moment of calm. Shooting Tony a menacing glare, Rupert lowered himself again and directed your gaze towards him. âIâm here, angel. Iâm not going anywhere.â
That was enough to coax inconsolable sobs from you. Safety and protection was all you craved, and Rupert certainly gave it to you. Practically falling into his arms, he allowed you to sob into his shoulder. His warmth had a vice-like grip over you â unwavering and shielding you from the world. His veined hand stroked through your hair softly as he whispered sweet nothings into your ear. âDonât do this to me again, darling. You know Iâm always here. Youâre safe with me, beautiful.â
He pulled you from your chair with the strength of one arm, and tucked you closely into his side, simultaneously picking your bouquet up with the others. âCome on, angel. Letâs get you home.â He muttered, and you gently nodded your head in agreement, allowing your body weight to melt into his. As he beckoned you away from your desk, he shot one last look at Tony â he was never going to forget this.
âEvery atom of your flesh is as dear to me as my own: in pain and sickness it would still be dear.â - Jane Eyre

The nights they spent in the library became their little ritual, a comforting constant amid their busy college lives. Adamâs schedule was intense, between morning practices, back-to-back classes, and late-night studying, yet heâd always make time to meet her there, settling into their usual corner by the large window that overlooked campus. Tonight, like every night, heâd saved her a seat, draping his hoodie over the chair beside him so sheâd know he was waiting.
When she arrived, a warm feeling washed over her, seeing him so intently focused, tapping a pen against his notebook. His brow was furrowed in concentration, jaw set in that familiar way, yet the moment he saw her, his face softened, a grin spreading across his face.
âHey, you,â he said, slipping his arm around her shoulders as she sat down, pressing a kiss to her temple. âMissed you.â
She laughed, leaning into his side. âWe were together this morning. You really missed me already?â
âMore than you know,â he murmured, squeezing her shoulder. There was always something about himâa quiet warmth and sweetness that made her feel like she was the only thing in his world, even when he was balancing a million different pressures. He set his pen down, focusing his attention entirely on her, and she couldnât help but smile.
They worked side by side for a while, falling into the easy rhythm they had developed over the months, sharing notes and sneaking little glances at each other. Occasionally, Adam would steal a quick kiss, his smile making her heart skip. It was these little moments that made her realize just how deeply she had fallen for himâthe quiet understanding, the silent support, the shared smiles.
As they walked back to his dorm under the glow of the campus streetlights, a comfortable silence fell between them. The autumn air was crisp, and she felt Adamâs fingers tighten around hers, as if grounding her in that moment.
âHey,â he said suddenly, stopping them both. She turned to face him, surprised by the sudden intensity in his gaze. âIâve been wanting to tell you something.â
She felt her heartbeat quicken as he looked at her, the seriousness in his eyes sending a shiver down her spine. âWhat is it?â
He took a deep breath, glancing down before meeting her gaze again. âY/N, I know weâre both young, and we donât have everything figured out, butâŠI know I want this. I know I want you, in my life, no matter what.â
His words were a revelation, each one grounding her in a reality sheâd hoped for but hadnât dared to expect. She looked up at him, a soft smile breaking across her face as she felt a surge of affection. âAdam, I feel the same way,â she whispered, her voice filled with emotion. âYou mean everything to me.â
He pulled her close, his arms wrapping around her in a hug that felt like a promise. She could feel his heartbeat against her, steady and reassuring. After a moment, he pulled back, looking down at her with a tenderness that made her heart ache.
âLetâs go inside,â he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, filled with a mixture of excitement and vulnerability.
As soon as they closed the door, Adamâs hands found her waist, pulling her into a kiss that was soft at first but grew with an intensity neither of them could ignore. His hands traveled up her sides, sending a thrill through her, and she felt herself melt into him, her fingers tangling in his hair.
âAre you sure?â he whispered, his breath warm against her neck as he pulled back slightly, his eyes searching hers.
She nodded, her voice steady. âIâve never been more sure.â
In that quiet room, they explored each other, savoring every touch, every kiss, as if they were making a silent promise to be there, to love each other no matter what life would throw at them. They moved together in a way that felt effortless, their bodies communicating a desire and trust that words could never capture. And when they finally lay side by side, wrapped in each otherâs arms, she knew this was a memory she would carry with her always.
The room was filled with the quiet hum of their breathing as they drifted into sleep, the campus lights casting a warm glow through the window. Adam held her close, his fingers tracing light circles along her back as she rested her head on his chest.
âStay with me tonight,â he whispered, his voice filled with a vulnerable hope.
She smiled, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. âIâm not going anywhere.â
Summer 2023, NHL Draft Day
The months flew by, and suddenly, it was draft season. Adamâs nerves were palpable, but he tried to hide them behind his usual smile, his arms wrapped around her as they waited for his name to be called. The night was electric with excitement, but beneath it, she could feel his tension, the anticipation of everything they had worked toward coming down to this single moment.
âAre you okay?â she asked softly, squeezing his hand. She could see the flicker of vulnerability in his eyes, and it made her heart ache.
He nodded, flashing her a smile. âYeah, justâŠa lot of pressure,â he admitted, his thumb brushing over her knuckles in a calming rhythm. âBut having you hereâŠthat makes all the difference.â
She smiled, leaning up to kiss him gently, trying to convey every ounce of love and belief she had in him. âYouâve got this. No matter where you go, youâre going to do incredible things.â
The moment his name was called, the room erupted into applause. She watched him, pride swelling in her chest as he hugged his family and friends, giving her a last, lingering look before making his way to the stage. It was a look that said everything he couldnât put into wordsâa promise, a silent thank you, a reminder that she was part of this journey with him.
As the night wound down and the crowd thinned, Adam pulled her aside, his expression turning serious. They found a quiet corner, away from the noise, the celebration, and he took her hands, looking down at them as if collecting his thoughts.
âI donât know whatâs going to happen next,â he began, his voice soft, laced with a nervous vulnerability. âBut I donât want to do this without you.â
Her breath hitched as she realized the weight of his words, the unspoken question hanging between them.
âAdam,â she said, her voice shaking slightly, âare you sayingâŠ?â
He nodded, meeting her gaze. âCome with me. Move with me to Columbus. I donât want us to be apartâI want us to figure this out together.â
Her heart skipped a beat, a mixture of excitement and fear welling up inside her. It was a big decision, a huge leap into an uncertain future, but as she looked into his eyes, she knew there was only one answer.
âYes,â she whispered, her voice filled with a quiet certainty. âIâm with you. Wherever you go, Iâm right there.â
They held each other tightly, both of them feeling the enormity of what lay ahead. But in that moment, wrapped in each otherâs arms, they felt an unshakeable confidenceâa shared certainty that, together, they could face whatever challenges would come their way.
Later that night, in the quiet of the hotel room, they shared a moment that felt sacred. Their kisses were slower, deeper, filled with the promise of everything they had committed to. Adamâs hands were tender as they explored her, memorizing every inch of her skin, his touch full of reverence.
âAre you sure?â he whispered, his voice filled with awe and a hint of nervousness.
She nodded, her eyes meeting his. âAbsolutely. I love you, Adam.â
He smiled, his hand cupping her cheek. âI love you too, Y/N. More than youâll ever know.â
As they lay together afterward, tangled in each otherâs arms, she felt a profound sense of peace. It was as if the entire world had shrunk down to this single room, to the quiet of their breathing, to the warmth of his body beside her. They had made a promise tonightâa commitment to face the future together, to stay by each otherâs side, no matter what. And in that moment, she knew there was nothing they couldnât face as long as they had each other.
Columbus, Ohio â Fall 2023
Moving to Columbus was a whirlwind for both of them. The new city buzzed with excitement for Adamâs arrival, and the Blue Jackets fan base was thrilled to welcome their young prospect. The city had a new energy, one that felt vibrant and alive, as Adam settled into his role on the team.
Adam and Y/N found a modest, cozy apartment downtown, close enough to the rink for his practices but far enough that they could enjoy some quiet time together. The place was small, but it was theirs, and they spent the first few weeks transforming the bare walls and empty spaces into something that felt like home.
Boxes were everywhere as they unpacked, laughing and bickering playfully over where things should go. Adam insisted on keeping his signed rookie stick leaning in the corner of the living room, while she countered with a set of cozy throw pillows sheâd found on a shopping trip. Every little detail was a negotiation, filled with laughter and eye rolls that melted into shared smiles.
âYou know,â she teased one night, standing in the kitchen with her hands on her hips, âif youâd let me put those curtains up instead of keeping that blanket over the window, this place might actually start looking like a real apartment.â
Adam grinned, tossing a pillow onto the couch before walking over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist. âYou saying my decorating skills arenât good enough?â he asked, nuzzling her neck.
She laughed, rolling her eyes. âIâm saying youâre better at scoring goals than picking out curtains.â
He pulled her closer, his voice dropping. âAnd which one of those is most important to you?â
Her cheeks warmed as she looked up at him, her fingers tracing the line of his jaw. âGuess it depends on the context,â she murmured, her voice softening as their gazes locked.
The warmth in his eyes turned into something deeper, and he leaned in, capturing her lips in a kiss that was slow and deliberate, filled with a mixture of tenderness and longing. His hands slipped to her waist, pulling her closer, and she felt herself melt into him, their bodies pressed together as if they were one.
They spent the rest of the night tangled together, exploring every inch of their new space in a way that made it feel truly theirs. It was as if each touch, each kiss, each whispered word was imprinting memories into the walls, filling the empty spaces with moments only they would know.
The honeymoon period of settling into the new apartment soon gave way to the challenges of Adamâs grueling schedule. Training camps, team practices, media obligationsâit was a new rhythm, and it pulled him away from her more often than either of them had anticipated. Early mornings turned into long days at the rink, and by the time Adam got home, he was exhausted, barely able to muster up the energy for anything other than collapsing onto the couch.
At first, she tried to ignore the pang of loneliness that crept in during the quiet hours she spent alone in their apartment, filling her days with work, exploring the city, and calling friends from Michigan. But as the weeks went by, she couldnât shake the feeling of missing him, even when he was right there beside her.
One evening, after a particularly grueling practice, Adam came home, dropping his bag by the door with a tired sigh. She could see the weariness etched into his face, his usual spark dulled by exhaustion. He offered her a faint smile as he kicked off his shoes, heading straight for the couch.
She sat down beside him, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. âLong day?â
He nodded, leaning his head back and closing his eyes. âYou have no idea. I mean, I knew the NHL was going to be intense, but this⊠itâs next level.â His voice was low, almost defeated, and it tugged at her heart.
âHey,â she said softly, rubbing his shoulder. âYou donât have to be perfect all the time. Youâre allowed to be tired, Adam. Itâs a lot to handle.â
He turned to look at her, his eyes softening as he took her hand, pulling her into his lap. âThanks, Y/N. I donât know what Iâd do without you.â
They sat together in comfortable silence, her fingers brushing through his hair as he leaned his head against her shoulder. Slowly, she felt his breathing even out, and she realized heâd fallen asleep, his arms still wrapped around her. She smiled to herself, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead.
The following morning, she woke up to find him already gone, his side of the bed cold, a note on the nightstand that read: Couldnât wake you. Wanted you to sleep in. Iâll be home as soon as I can. Miss you already.
It was the kind of note that left her heart aching in the best way, but also reminded her of the distance that had crept between them, even in their shared space.
Despite the challenges, they found ways to make it work, weaving small routines into the chaos. Sheâd pack his lunch, slipping little notes into his bagâinside jokes, or silly sketches of the two of themâthat heâd find in between drills. And on nights when he got home early enough, theyâd cook together, laughing as they danced around the kitchen, turning the simplest tasks into cherished rituals.
One night, they were attempting to make pastaâa meal that turned into a bit of a disaster when Adam managed to overcook the noodles. He looked at the pot with a mixture of defeat and confusion.
âWho knew pasta could be so difficult?â he groaned, looking over at her with a sheepish grin.
She laughed, wrapping her arms around him from behind. âItâs okay. You might be terrible at cooking, but youâre still my favorite person.â
He turned around, pulling her into a hug. âYeah? Even when I mess up pasta?â
âEspecially when you mess up pasta,â she replied, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
They ended up ordering takeout, curling up on the couch as they ate, laughing over the mess theyâd left in the kitchen. It was moments like these, filled with warmth and laughter, that reminded them both of why they were doing thisâof the love that had brought them together and continued to hold them close, even through the difficult days.
One Friday evening, after a particularly intense game, Adam returned home, his energy still buzzing from the win. She greeted him at the door with a warm smile, feeling her own excitement swell as he swept her up into his arms, spinning her around.
âWe won, babe!â he said, his grin infectious. âI canât believe itâit was insane! I thought we were done for in the third period, but we pulled it off.â
She laughed, holding onto him as he set her down, his arms still wrapped around her. âIâm so proud of you, Adam. You were amazing out there.â
His eyes softened, and he pulled her closer, resting his forehead against hers. âCouldnât have done it without knowing youâre here, waiting for me,â he murmured, his voice filled with sincerity.
In that moment, she felt her heart swell with love, the struggles and loneliness of the past few weeks fading away as they held each other. He leaned down, capturing her lips in a kiss that was soft at first, filled with a mixture of gratitude and longing. But soon, the kiss deepened, fueled by the passion that had been simmering beneath the surface.
They moved together to the bedroom, his hands exploring her as if he were memorizing every inch of her. Their kisses were slow and deliberate, each touch a reminder of the love they shared, the commitment theyâd made to each other. They undressed slowly, savoring the intimacy, the connection that felt so much deeper after the time theyâd spent apart.
Afterward, they lay tangled in each otherâs arms, their breaths mingling as they whispered to each other in the quiet darkness. He told her about the game, sharing the small details he usually kept to himselfâthe nerves, the pressure, the way heâd thought of her during every break. And she listened, feeling closer to him than ever before, her fingers tracing light patterns along his chest.
As the night wore on, they drifted into a peaceful sleep, feeling a renewed sense of connection. For the first time in weeks, they both felt truly at home.
The next morning, she woke up to the smell of coffee and the sound of soft music coming from the kitchen. She padded out of the bedroom, smiling when she found him standing by the stove, humming along to the song as he cooked.
âLook whoâs trying to make up for last nightâs pasta disaster,â she teased, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind.
He laughed, turning around to kiss her. âI figured breakfast was the least I could do,â he said, grinning as he handed her a cup of coffee.
They spent the morning together, sharing a quiet breakfast, laughing and talking about their plans for the weekend. It was a simple, unremarkable moment, but to both of them, it felt like a little slice of happinessâa reminder of why they were doing this, and how much they meant to each other.
As they sat there, her hand in his, she felt a sense of contentment
Columbus, Ohio â Winter 2023
As the season progressed, Adamâs name began to pop up more frequently in the media. Headlines praised his impressive rookie performance, and clips of his plays trended on social media almost every week. Fans posted nonstop about his potential, and interviews with him were filled with questions about his goals and his future with the Blue Jackets. At first, it was exhilarating for both of them. Watching him on the ice, seeing how the city celebrated his success, made her heart swell with pride.
But as his fame grew, so did the pressures and the expectations. More demands on his time left him exhausted and often distracted. Nights out were frequently interrupted by fans wanting photos, or journalists eager for a quote, which Adam always handled with a smile, never wanting to disappoint anyone. She admired his dedication, but she began to feel as if they were sharing less and less of their world together.
One evening, after a particularly demanding week, they went out for dinner, hoping to carve out some time just for the two of them. But even in the cozy, dimly lit restaurant theyâd chosen, whispers followed them, and a few fans approached their table.
âHey, Adam, big fansâwould you mind signing something for us?â one of them asked, an excited look on her face. Adam glanced at Y/N apologetically, but she gave him a small nod, urging him to go ahead.
He returned to their table after a few minutes, reaching for her hand, his face slightly flushed. âSorry about that,â he murmured, his thumb tracing over her knuckles. âGuess this comes with the territory.â
She managed a small smile, but there was a twinge of something she couldnât ignoreâsomething that felt like loneliness. âItâs okay,â she said, keeping her tone light. âIâm just still getting used to sharing you with everyone.â
He looked at her, his expression softening as he realized the weight of her words. âYouâll never have to share me, Y/N. Not really. You know that, right?â
She forced a nod, but a part of her couldnât ignore the growing fear that, eventually, the world might take too much of him. She squeezed his hand, trying to push the thought away. âI know,â she whispered, hoping she sounded more certain than she felt.
As the season wore on, the distance between them felt less like an occasional inconvenience and more like a permanent shadow that loomed over their relationship. Adam was constantly traveling for away games, and even when he was home, his mind was often preoccupied with training or strategies. The rare moments they did spend together were often late at night, with him collapsing into bed beside her, exhausted, barely able to keep his eyes open as he murmured a sleepy âGoodnight.â
One evening, she finally couldnât keep it bottled up any longer. They were sitting on the couch, him scrolling through his phone, catching up on game footage, when she spoke.
âAdam,â she began, her voice quiet but steady. He looked up, noticing the serious expression on her face.
âYeah?â He set his phone down, his attention fully on her.
She took a deep breath, searching for the right words. âI justâŠI miss us. I feel like weâre always together, but Iâm not really with you. Not the way we used to be.â
A flicker of guilt crossed his face, and he reached for her hand. âY/NâŠI know itâs been tough. I feel it too. I donât want you to feel like Iâm drifting away. Iâm just trying to keep up with everything, you know? The team, the media, the expectationsâŠitâs all so much.â
Her heart softened, and she placed her hand on his cheek, her thumb brushing over his skin. âI know, and Iâm so proud of you. But I need you too. Not the player, not the celebrityâjust you.â
He pulled her into his lap, wrapping his arms around her as he pressed his forehead against hers. âIâm sorry,â he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. âYouâre my whole world, Y/N. I donât want to lose us in all of this.â
She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, holding him close. âThen letâs make time for each other. Even if itâs just little moments. I donât want us to get lost in the noise.â
They sat like that for a long time, wrapped in each otherâs warmth, a silent agreement passing between them. They promised each other that, no matter what, they would find ways to stay connected, to hold onto the love that had brought them together in the first place.
A few weeks later, Adam surprised her with a weekend getaway. He booked a small cabin an hour outside the city, nestled in the woods, where they could disconnect from the world and just be together.
As they drove up to the cabin, she felt a thrill of excitement, the tension of the past few months melting away. The cabin was cozy, with a fireplace crackling in the corner, and a view of the snow-covered trees outside. They spent the first day simply enjoying each otherâs company, cooking together, sharing stories, and laughing like they hadnât in months.
That night, as they sat by the fire, wrapped in blankets, he pulled her close, his fingers tracing light patterns along her arm. âI missed this,â he murmured, his voice soft and full of tenderness. âI missed just being with you, away from everything else.â
She looked up at him, her heart swelling with love. âMe too,â she whispered, leaning in to kiss him. The kiss was slow, unhurried, as if they had all the time in the world. His hands moved to her waist, pulling her onto his lap as he deepened the kiss, their breaths mingling in the quiet warmth of the room.
They moved together with a renewed passion, savoring each touch, each whisper. It felt like a rediscovery of everything they loved about each other, a reminder of the connection that went beyond the demands of his career. They undressed slowly, their bodies pressed together as they explored each other, the intimacy of the moment grounding them in a way that nothing else could.
Afterward, they lay tangled in each otherâs arms, the glow of the fire casting a warm light across the room. She rested her head on his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, feeling a peace she hadnât felt in a long time.
âI love you,â he whispered, his fingers brushing through her hair. âMore than anything. Thank you for being here, for sticking with me through all of this.â
She smiled, pressing a kiss to his chest. âI love you too, Adam. Always.â
They drifted into a peaceful sleep, wrapped in each otherâs arms, knowing that, no matter how tough things got, they would always find their way back to each other.
The weekend away renewed their strength, but as they returned to Columbus, the pressures of Adamâs career quickly crept back in. Yet, this time, they both held onto the memory of the cabin, the quiet promises theyâd made to each other. They made an effort to carve out little momentsâa morning coffee shared in comfortable silence, a late-night drive to clear their heads, a quiet dinner in their favorite restaurant where they could be just two people in love.
One evening, as they sat on the couch after another long day, she rested her head on his shoulder, feeling a sense of contentment she hadnât felt in months.
âDo you ever wonder if itâll get easier?â she asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
He looked down at her, a gentle smile on his face. âSometimes. But even if it doesnât, I know weâll get through it. Weâre in this together, right?â
She smiled, her fingers lacing with his. âAlways.â
In that moment, she knew that, no matter how intense the pressures of his career became, no matter how many obstacles they faced, they would find a way to hold onto each other. They were each otherâs constant, the quiet strength that carried them through the noise and chaos. And in the end, that was all they needed.
Later that night, as they lay in bed, Adam pulled her close, his hands tracing light circles along her back. âThank you for being my rock,â he murmured, his voice filled with warmth. âFor always understanding, even when Iâm not around as much as I want to be.â
She looked up at him, her heart swelling with love. âYouâre worth it, Adam. Every second.â
He leaned down, capturing her lips in a slow, tender kiss, filled with all the gratitude and love he couldnât put into words. They moved together, their bodies fitting perfectly, each touch a reminder of the promises they had made to each other. In the quiet darkness, they shared a connection that went beyond words, a love that was steadfast and unbreakable.
As they lay together afterward, wrapped in each otherâs arms, she felt a renewed sense of peace, a quiet certainty that, no matter where life took them, they would always find their way back to each other.
Michigan and Beyond â Summer 2024
The off-season finally arrived, and with it came a long-awaited break from the demands and pressures of the NHL. For the first time in months, Adam didnât have to rush off to practices, interviews, or endless travel. He was justâŠAdam, the guy sheâd fallen in love with back in college, and for a few precious months, they were able to live without a schedule dictating every hour of their day.
It was late June when they decided to visit Michigan, eager to revisit the place where their journey began. The drive back was filled with a comfortable silence, punctuated by laughter and the occasional off-key singing as they played their favorite songs from their college days. The familiar landscape rolled by, the roads bringing back memories of late-night drives, coffee runs, and spontaneous adventures.
When they arrived, the University of Michigan campus was quieter, the summer break leaving the buildings mostly empty. They parked the car and walked hand-in-hand through the familiar paths, the air filled with nostalgia.
âDo you remember the first time we met?â Adam asked, glancing down at her with a soft smile. âI couldnât even focus on practice that day. My teammates gave me so much grief for being distracted.â
She laughed, nudging him playfully. âI remember you nearly walked into a door because you were staring at me.â
He chuckled, shaking his head. âHey, I couldnât help it. You lookedâŠamazing. Still do.â
They wandered around the campus, revisiting their favorite spotsâthe library where theyâd spent countless nights studying together, the little cafĂ© where they had their first date, the rink where sheâd cheered him on at every game. Each place held a memory, and they spent hours reminiscing, sharing stories and laughing at all the little things that had brought them together.
That evening, they drove out to a secluded lake where they had often gone during their college years to escape the world for a while. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over the water, and the quiet of the place wrapped around them like a comforting blanket.
Adam spread out a blanket on the shore, and they lay side by side, watching the sky transform from soft pinks and oranges to deep purples and blues. He reached for her hand, lacing his fingers with hers, and she looked over at him, her heart swelling with love.
âYou know,â he began, his voice soft and thoughtful, âcoming back here with you⊠It reminds me of how lucky I am to have you in my life. I donât say it enough, but I donât know where Iâd be without you, Y/N.â
She felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes, her heart fluttering at his words. âAdam, I feel the same way. Being here with you, away from everything else, itâs likeâŠthis is how itâs supposed to be. Just us.â
They shared a long, lingering kiss, their bodies pressed close as the cool evening breeze rustled around them. There was something grounding about being in that familiar place, surrounded by nature, with nothing but each other. They moved together in the fading light, every touch filled with tenderness, every kiss a promise of the love theyâd built and the future they would share.
They spent the night lying on the blanket, watching the stars, talking about their dreams, their fears, and their plans for the future. It was a rare, cherished moment, the kind that only came when time seemed to stand still, and they could simply be together, with no demands or expectations.
The next day, they set out on a road trip across Michigan, stopping at small towns, scenic overlooks, and quirky little roadside attractions. The freedom of the open road was exhilarating, and they filled the trip with laughter, silly selfies, and spontaneous detours.
At one point, they stopped at a little antique shop in a small town, where she found a vintage record player sheâd always dreamed of having. Adam insisted on buying it for her, despite her protests.
âCome on, itâs perfect for our apartment,â he said with a grin, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. âAnd weâll fill it with all our favorite records.â
She rolled her eyes, but her heart warmed at the gesture. âYouâre spoiling me, you know that?â
He shrugged, a playful smile on his lips. âWell, you deserve to be spoiled.â
They ended up spending half the day exploring the shop, picking out records and laughing over the quirky finds. It was a small, simple moment, but it felt like a piece of happiness, one of those memories that would stay with them long after the road trip was over.
Their last night in Michigan, they decided to revisit their favorite college barâa little dive just off campus where they had spent countless nights with friends, celebrating wins and commiserating over losses. They ordered their usual drinks, laughing as they slipped back into the carefree atmosphere of their college days.
The bar was filled with students, and a few of them recognized Adam, offering congratulations on his success with the Blue Jackets. He smiled, thanking them graciously, but he kept his attention on her, his arm wrapped protectively around her waist as if grounding himself in the present.
They danced to the old songs theyâd loved in college, laughing as they spun each other around, letting loose in a way they hadnât been able to in months. There was something freeing about being there, away from the eyes of the media, away from the pressures of his career. For that night, they were just Adam and Y/N, two people who had fallen in love in a little college town, and it felt like nothing else mattered.
As they left the bar in the early hours of the morning, he pulled her close, his voice soft in her ear. âThank you for this,â he murmured, his eyes filled with gratitude. âFor everything. I donât know how I got so lucky.â
She smiled, leaning up to kiss him. âWeâre both lucky, Adam.â
They walked back to their car, hand in hand, feeling a renewed sense of connection, a reminder of everything that had brought them together.
When they finally returned to Columbus, they spent the next morning lounging around their apartment, savoring the last moments of their time off. They made breakfast together, laughing as they danced around the kitchen, stealing kisses between flipping pancakes and sipping coffee.
After breakfast, they curled up on the couch, wrapped in a cozy blanket as they listened to the records theyâd bought on their trip. The soft melodies filled the room, and they sat in comfortable silence, her head resting on his shoulder, his arm draped around her.
âDo you ever think about the future?â she asked quietly, breaking the silence.
He looked down at her, his expression thoughtful. âYeah, all the time. Especially when I think about you.â
She smiled, feeling a flutter of excitement at his words. âWhat do you see?â
He took a deep breath, his gaze softening. âI see us. Maybe a house someday, a place we can really make our own. AndâŠmaybe a family, if thatâs what you want.â
Her heart skipped a beat, her cheeks warming. âIâd like that,â she whispered, feeling a mixture of excitement and hope.
He pulled her closer, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. âThen thatâs what weâll have.â
They spent the rest of the morning wrapped in each otherâs arms, talking about their dreams and the life they wanted to build together. It was a quiet, precious moment, a promise of the future they were creating, step by step.
As the off-season came to an end, they spent their last days together savoring every moment. They took long walks around the city, went on picnics, and spent late nights watching movies, laughing and holding each other close. Each moment was a reminder of the love they shared, the foundation they had built, and the dreams they had for the future.
On their final night before the season began again, Adam surprised her with a romantic dinner on their balcony, stringing up fairy lights and setting the table with candles and flowers. They spent the evening under the stars, sharing stories, laughter, and quiet, lingering kisses.
As the night drew to a close, he took her hand, his eyes filled with love and a quiet intensity. âWhatever happens this season, wherever this career takes me, I want you to know that youâre my priority. Youâre the one thing that keeps me grounded, that reminds me of who I am. Iâll never lose sight of that, or of you.â
She felt her heart swell, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. âI know, Adam. And Iâm here for you, no matter where this takes us. I love you.â
They shared a kiss under the stars, their hearts full of hope and promise. As they held each other close, they both knew that, no matter how demanding life became, they would always find their way back to each other. Their love was their anchor, their constant, and it was a promise that neither of them would ever break.
Columbus, Ohio â Mid-Season 2024
The season was in full swing, and Adam had been pushing himself harder than ever, determined to keep up with the demands of his growing career. Game after game, he poured everything he had into the ice, always eager to improve, to prove himself. But one night, after a particularly intense game, everything changed in an instant.
She was watching from the stands, cheering as usual, when she saw him go down. It was a rough play, and in a split second, Adam crashed to the ice, clutching his leg. Her heart stopped, a cold fear gripping her as she watched him wince in pain, his teammates gathering around him. The medical staff rushed onto the ice, helping him up, but the look on his face told her everything she needed to knowâit wasnât just a bruise or a scrape. Something was wrong.
After what felt like an eternity, they helped him off the ice, and she could see the strain in his face as he tried to put weight on his leg. Her stomach twisted as she rushed down to meet him, her mind racing with worry.
When she reached the locker room, she found him sitting on the bench, an ice pack pressed to his knee, his face pale. He looked up when he saw her, offering a weak smile, but she could see the frustration and fear in his eyes.
âAdam,â she whispered, rushing to his side. âAre you okay?â
He shrugged, letting out a bitter laugh. âNot really. Doc says itâs a sprain, maybe worse. Theyâre running more tests tomorrow.â
She sat beside him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. âItâs okay, Adam. Youâre going to get through this.â
He nodded, but she could see the tension in his jaw, the way his hands clenched into fists as he struggled to hold back his frustration. âI just⊠I canât believe this happened. Iâve been so careful, doing everything right, and now this? Right in the middle of the season?â
She reached for his hand, squeezing it gently. âHey, donât think like that. This is just a setback, okay? Youâre going to heal, and youâll come back stronger. Youâve overcome so much already.â
He looked at her, his eyes softening as he took a deep breath. âThank you,â he whispered, his voice cracking slightly. âI donât know what Iâd do without you.â
They sat there for a while, her hand in his, both of them absorbing the reality of the situation. She could feel his vulnerability, the weight of his disappointment and fear, and it broke her heart to see him like this. But she was determined to be there for him, to support him through every step of his recovery.
The following days were a blur of doctorsâ appointments, physical therapy sessions, and long, quiet evenings in their apartment. Adam was restless, the injury weighing heavily on him, and she could see how much it affected him. He tried to keep his spirits up, but there were moments when the frustration and doubt would creep in, clouding his usually optimistic outlook.
One evening, she found him sitting on the couch, staring at the floor, his shoulders slumped. She walked over, wrapping her arms around him from behind, resting her chin on his shoulder.
âWhatâs on your mind?â she asked gently, her voice soft.
He let out a heavy sigh, leaning back into her embrace. âI just feelâŠhelpless. Everyoneâs out there, giving it their all, and here I am, stuck on the sidelines, watching them. I donât know how to just sit and wait.â
She pressed a kiss to his cheek, her arms tightening around him. âAdam, youâre not alone in this. You have the whole team behind you, and you have me. Weâll get through this, one day at a time.â
He turned to look at her, his eyes filled with a mixture of gratitude and sadness. âI donât deserve you,â he whispered, his voice barely audible.
She shook her head, cupping his face in her hands. âYou do. You deserve all the love and support in the world. And Iâm not going anywhere.â
He pulled her into a kiss, his hands gentle yet full of need, as if grounding himself in the comfort of her presence. She could feel the weight of his emotions, the vulnerability he rarely showed, and she held him close, offering all the reassurance she could.
That night, as they lay in bed, she could feel his tension, the worry that gnawed at him even as he tried to rest. She reached over, tracing light patterns along his arm, her fingers gentle and soothing.
âAdam,â she whispered, her voice barely audible in the darkness.
He turned to face her, his expression softening as he looked at her. âYeah?â
She took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. âI know this is hard, and I know itâs frustrating. But I need you to know that this doesnât change anythingânot who you are, not what you mean to me. Youâre still the same person, still the man I fell in love with.â
He reached for her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers. âI needed to hear that,â he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. âSometimes I feel likeâŠlike Iâm letting everyone down.â
She shook her head, her gaze fierce. âYouâre not letting anyone down. Youâre human, Adam. Youâre allowed to have setbacks, to feel frustrated. But youâre also strong, and youâre going to get through this. And Iâll be here every step of the way.â
He pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her as he buried his face in her hair. They lay together in the quiet darkness, their breaths mingling as he let go of the fears he had been holding onto, surrendering to the comfort of her presence.
As the days turned into weeks, they settled into a new routine, one built around his recovery. She accompanied him to his physical therapy sessions, offering words of encouragement and holding his hand when the exercises became challenging. She could see the determination in his eyes, the way he pushed himself even when it was difficult, and it filled her with pride.
One afternoon, as they returned from a therapy session, he looked over at her, a small smile on his face. âYou know, I couldnât do this without you,â he said, his voice filled with gratitude. âYou make it all a little easier.â
She smiled, leaning over to kiss his cheek. âIâll always be here, Adam. Weâre in this together.â
They spent the evening cuddled up on the couch, watching movies and sharing quiet moments of laughter. The injury, though difficult, had brought them closer in ways they hadnât expected, revealing a strength in their relationship that went beyond the highs and lows of his career.
One night, after weeks of hard work and slow progress, Adam managed to walk unaided, taking a few steady steps across the room. She watched, her heart swelling with pride as he grinned at her, his eyes bright with excitement.
âLook at me,â he said, his voice filled with joy. âIâm getting there.â
She rushed over, wrapping her arms around him, pressing a kiss to his lips. âIâm so proud of you,â she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. âYouâve come so far.â
They shared a long, lingering kiss, their hands exploring each other as if rediscovering the love they had nurtured through the challenges of his recovery. That night, they moved together with a renewed sense of passion, each touch filled with gratitude, each kiss a reminder of the strength of their love. They lay together afterward, wrapped in each otherâs arms, a quiet peace settling over them.
As they drifted into sleep, she felt a renewed sense of hope, a quiet certainty that, no matter what challenges they faced, they would always find their way back to each other.
When Adam was finally cleared to return to the ice, he was filled with a mixture of excitement and nerves. She watched from the stands, her heart pounding as he stepped onto the rink, his movements tentative at first but growing more confident with each stride.
As he skated, he looked up at her, offering a small, reassuring smile. She waved, her heart swelling with pride as she saw him back in his element, a part of the team once again.
After practice, he rushed up to her, pulling her into a tight embrace. âI did it,â he whispered, his voice filled with relief and joy. âIâm back.â
She hugged him tightly, her voice filled with pride. âI never doubted you, Adam. Not for a second.â
They shared a kiss, the world around them fading as they held each other, their love a constant in the whirlwind of his career. They had faced the challenge together, and they had come out stronger, their bond deeper than ever before.
That evening, as they returned home, they sat on the balcony, watching the city lights twinkle in the distance. Adam took her hand, his fingers tracing gentle patterns along her skin.
âThank you for being there for me,â he murmured, his voice filled with sincerity. âI donât know how I got so lucky.â
She smiled, resting her head on his shoulder. âIâm the lucky one, Adam.â
They sat together in comfortable silence, their hearts full of love and hope for the future. As they watched the stars, they knew that, no matter what lay ahead, they would face it together, their love a constant light in the journey they had chosen to walk side by side.
Columbus, Ohio â Spring 2025
The season had been a wild success, both for the team and for Adam personally. With each game, heâd made his mark, proving himself not only as a strong player but as a dependable teammate and leader. But tonight was something extra special: Adam had reached a major career milestoneâhis 100th NHL goal.
Y/N watched from the stands, her heart racing as she saw the puck soar into the net, the entire arena erupting in cheers. She jumped up, clapping and cheering along with the crowd, a wave of pride swelling inside her. She caught his eye from across the rink as he skated back toward the bench, and he pointed up at her, a private little gesture that made her heart skip.
When the game ended, the crowd was still buzzing with excitement, chanting his name as he made his way off the ice. Y/N hurried down to the locker room, her cheeks flushed, anticipation bubbling up inside her as she waited to congratulate him.
The locker room was a whirlwind of laughter and celebration, his teammates congratulating him and slapping him on the back. When he finally spotted her waiting by the door, he broke into a grin, jogging over to pull her into his arms.
âAdam, Iâm so proud of you!â she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around his neck. âOne hundred goalsâyou did it!â
He laughed, his eyes shining with excitement as he lifted her off the ground in a tight hug. âWe did it,â he said, pressing a kiss to her cheek. âI couldnât have done this without you.â
They shared a quick, private kiss, his hands lingering at her waist as if he didnât want to let go. She could feel the pride radiating from him, a joy she knew heâd worked so hard for, and it made her heart swell with love.
âAlright, lovebirds!â one of his teammates called out, laughing as he tossed a towel in their direction. âSave some of that energy for the party!â
Adam rolled his eyes, chuckling as he turned back to her. âReady to celebrate?â
She nodded, a smile spreading across her face. âWith you? Always.â
Later that night, the team threw a celebration in honor of Adamâs milestone. The restaurant was filled with laughter and music, everyone sharing stories and toasting to his success. She stayed close by his side, watching him light up as his friends and teammates congratulated him. There was a certain ease to him tonight, a glow that only came from the fulfillment of a dream realized.
At one point, his coach raised a glass, calling for everyoneâs attention. âHereâs to Adam,â he began, his voice filled with pride. âA hundred goals is no small feat, but what makes this guy truly remarkable is his heart and dedication. Heâs a role model on and off the ice, and weâre proud to call him one of our own. To Adam!â
The crowd erupted in cheers, and Adam looked over at her, his face a mix of pride and gratitude. She raised her glass to him, giving him a warm smile as she mouthed, âTo you.â
After a while, they slipped outside, finding a quiet spot away from the crowd. The night was cool, a gentle breeze rustling the trees as they stood beneath the stars. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close.
âI still canât believe it,â he murmured, his voice filled with awe. âA hundred goals. Feels like a dream.â
She leaned up to press a kiss to his cheek. âItâs no dream. You worked hard for this, Adam. You deserve every bit of it.â
He looked down at her, his eyes filled with a quiet intensity. âI wouldnât be here without you, Y/N. Youâve been my rock through everythingâthe highs, the lows, the injuries⊠I donât know what Iâd do without you.â
She felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes, her heart swelling with love. âYouâre not getting rid of me that easily,â she whispered, smiling through the emotion.
They shared a long, tender kiss under the stars, a private celebration of everything they had accomplished together. In that moment, she knew that, no matter where life took them, they would always have each other.
After the party, they returned home, both of them still riding the high of the evening. As soon as they stepped inside, he pulled her into his arms, his hands resting at her waist as he looked down at her.
âDance with me,â he murmured, his voice soft.
She laughed, her cheeks flushing. âAdam, thereâs no music.â
He shrugged, a playful grin on his face. âWe donât need music.â
He led her in a slow dance around the living room, their movements unhurried and gentle. She rested her head on his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart as they swayed together. It was a quiet, intimate moment, a perfect end to a night they would remember forever.
As they danced, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, his voice filled with sincerity. âThank you for believing in me, for standing by me through everything.â
She looked up at him, her heart overflowing with love. âAlways, Adam. Iâm with you every step of the way.â
They continued to dance, the world around them fading away, until they finally settled onto the couch, wrapped in each otherâs arms. They spent the night talking about their dreams, sharing their hopes for the future, the love between them stronger than ever.
The following morning, they sat together on the balcony, sharing a quiet breakfast as the sun rose over the city. She looked over at him, feeling a sense of contentment she hadnât felt in a long time.
âSo, whatâs next for us?â she asked softly, reaching for his hand.
He looked thoughtful, a small smile playing on his lips. âWell, I know I donât want to do any of it without you. Whatever the future holds, youâre my number one.â
She smiled, feeling her heart skip a beat. âDo you ever think aboutâŠyou know, settling down? Maybe a place of our own? A family?â
He took a deep breath, his eyes shining with hope. âAll the time. I want all of that with you, Y/N. A home, a familyâeverything.â
They shared a long, lingering kiss, both of them feeling the weight of their shared dreams. The future felt open, a promise of everything they had worked for, and she knew that, whatever came next, they would face it together.
That evening, as the sun set, they decided to celebrate privately, sharing a bottle of wine on their balcony as the city lights began to twinkle. Adam poured them each a glass, raising his in a toast.
âTo us,â he said, his eyes filled with love. âTo everything weâve built, everything weâve overcome, and everything weâre going to create together.â
She smiled, clinking her glass with his. âTo us.â
They sipped their wine, wrapped in each otherâs arms, feeling a sense of peace and fulfillment that only came from being truly loved. In that quiet moment, they both knew that, no matter where life took them, they had found something lasting and realâa love that would carry them through every victory, every setback, and every dream they held for the future.
As they looked out over the city, she rested her head on his shoulder, her heart full of love and gratitude. They were each otherâs home, each otherâs hope, and she knew that, no matter what, they would always find their way back to each other.
And as the stars began to appear in the night sky, they shared one last kiss, a quiet promise of everything they would share in the years to come.

You winced a little at the burn of the whisky sliding down your throat. It was very much welcomed though, and so were the other two shots youâd done just before.Â
Not only was it your sister's wedding, but you were her maid of honour and wedding planner. In her defence, it was your profession, so planning and weddings were two things you did well. But the added pressure of it being your baby sister's day and wanting it to be perfect had given you little room to breathe.
Though, once the initial ceremony had ended and you made sure all the guests had arrived and settled in at the afterparty, you finally took a moment to take that breath, aided by the sweet nectar of alcohol. In hindsight, it probably wasnât your best idea to drink such a strong beverage on an empty stomach, as it wasnât long until its side effects commandeered your body, mind, and actions.Â
As you looked around at everyone enjoying themselves on the dance floor, your sister included, it brought a sense of relief and warmth knowing you made her day special. However, there was one face missing, and that was the face of your best friend, Matty. Youâd been busy up to your eyeballs all day with arrangements, making sure people arrived on time and showing them where to go; you hadnât even been able to see him yet, let alone say hello.Â
You knew his flight this morning was delayed, so he had to miss the ceremony, but he was on schedule to make the party at least. Though even your sister or family hadnât seen him. The last text he sent was to tell you that heâd landed, and that was nearing 2 hours ago. You deflated at the thought that he might miss this too. Matty was always the life of the party, ever since youâd met him your freshman year of college. Although you didnât see each other as often as youâd liked, living in different cities and leading busy lives and all, you were always guaranteed a great time when he was around.Â
However, as you finished your fourth shot, it was then you spotted someone at the other end of the bar. You had to squint a little through your gradually blurring vision, but you were certain it was him. He had his back to you, and he looked a little more built than when you last saw him, but he was already chatting away to some ridiculously handsome, tall guy you didnât recognise; who was exactly his type, and was easily someone heâd be distracted by.Â
Pushing aside the fact he hadnât come to see you first, with giddy excitement you pushed away from the bar, steadying yourself briefly as your head spun a little, but wasted little time as you wonkily made your way towards your best friend.Â
Foregoing the formalities and for the sudden need to hold onto something, you hugged him tightly from behind. He was definitely firmer than you remembered, and he smelt amazing, but Matty always did.Â
âIâm so glad youâre here.â You sighed happily as you snuggled into his back, the effects of the alcohol well and truly in control. âAnd when did you get so fit?â You exemplified your point by patting his toned stomach with a giggle.Â
âY/N? What are you doing?â Your hand paused, and your eyes snapped open at the questioning voice of your best friend. It took you a moment to realise it hadnât come from the body you were currently clung to, but from your right. Dread suddenly filled you as you slowly turned your head and were met with the amused face of your best friend.Â
With a gasp, you jumped away from the stranger, losing your footing as you did. Thankfully the stranger grasped your arm before you could go down, not that it would make this situation any less embarrassing if you had. Though what did make it worse was when you finally looked up at said stranger and saw, quite possibly, the most attractive man youâd ever seen in your life.Â
He had the most captivating pair of green eyes youâd ever seen and a smattering of freckles covering his nose and cheeks. A stubbled jawline that could cut glass, and he was staring down at you with much of the same amusement your best friend had.Â
âSo, strangers are getting touched up before me now?â Matt teased as he walked over to you, shattering the little staring contest you and green eyes had gotten into. He let go of your arm quickly and took a polite step back at Mattâs presence, and you had to force yourself to look away from him.Â
Your cheeks reddened at Mattyâs remark, and you only wished for the floor to swallow you whole. Matty slung an arm over your shoulder and hugged you to him, which you half returned in your traumatised state.Â
âIâm honestly so sorry; Iâve had a bit to drink and really thought you were him,â you jab a thumb in Mattâs direction, to which he bursts out laughing.Â
âIf you were really thinking that, then you must be drunk.â He laughs, and you canât help but join in on the absurdity of the situation along with the other two men.Â
âHonestly, donât sweat it; itâs made my night, thatâs for sure.â The handsome stranger waves you off with a chuckle, and his voice is deep and husky and does an array of things to you. âSeriously Y/N? Get yourself togetherâ.Â
You smile thankfully at him, relieved he found the funny side of it despite the crippling embarrassment you were currently feeling.Â
âSo, how do you both know the bride?â Matty speaks up, and you want to smack him so hard. You were hoping to make your escape and hide in the restroom for the rest of the night, not prolong your suffering.Â
âMy brother Sammy here works with the groom.â Green eyes pats the tall one on the back, and you note his tight-lipped smile at the obvious nickname. It makes your lips twitch in amusement.Â
âWeâre junior partners at KS Attorneyâs.â Sam adds and you nod in acknowledgment.Â
âAnd what about you?â You find yourself asking before you could even stop yourself. Green eyes looks at you, his eyes sparkling as a sly smirk lifts his noticeably plump lips. âOr did you just notice that? Focus Y/N!â
âWell, Iâm just here to crash the wedding." He grins proudly, âMeet a few of the bridesmaids.â He winks at you, and you scoff.Â
âWell, I donât mean to burst your bubble,â you pause for him to give you his name, which he supplies with a smirk. âDean,â you repeat. âBut Iâm maid of honour, and this is my sister's wedding.â You cross your arms and arch a brow. It makes his cocky attitude drop instantly, and itâs quite amusing to watch him fumble.Â
âI, you know. Iâm just kidding.â He stumbles with a nervous chuckle, and you narrow your eyes playfully at him until you feel youâve made him uncomfortable enough.Â
âDonât worry about it." You concede your teasing with a chuckle. âWeddings are supposed to be fun, right?â You shrug before waving him closer to you like youâre about to tell him a secret. He easily obliges, and you try to ignore the close proximity and the delicious scent of him again before you speak.
âJust watch out for the brunette; sheâs a little on the crazy side.â You nod your head over at Tiffany, one of the bridesmaids and he follows your direction to the dance floor. She was in your sister's circle of friends, but she was well-known for being a little clingy with men.Â
Youâd heard sheâd burnt her last boyfriend's clothes when he didnât return her calls for a few hours, convinced he was cheating on her. He wasnât. He was visiting his sick grandmother, something heâd told her the night before.
âNoted.â Dean nods seriously as you pull back and looks away thoughtfully, as if he were thinking of something important before his eyes snap to you again. âWhat about the maid of honour? Is she game?â Your heart flutters a little at the smoothness of his implication, and you canât stop your shy smile. You had to look away from him, and it was then you noticed the other two were missing. You frown and look around before you spot Matty and Sam further down the bar with a beer each. Matty catches your eye and winks at you before pointing at you and then Dean and making a vulgar gesture with his hand and mouth. You roll your eyes before you look back at Dean.
âI see weâve been ditched.â You scoff humorously and Deanâs smirk wideness.
âAnd you havenât answered my question.â He points out cooly and leans against the bartop; his stare intense, making you squirm a little. Men at this magnitude of hotness never hit on you, and if it wasnât for the alcohol still running through your veins, youâre certain you would have malfunctioned by now.Â
âShe is not.â You decide to lie and bite your lip as you too lean against the bar. Deanâs brow raises as if he were surprised by your admission, and you try not to look him in the eye too much.Â
âOh really? And whoâs the lucky guy?â You try to fight your smile, and the blush youâre certain is already staining your cheeks. Instead of answering, your eyes subtly flicker over to Matty, and Deanâs smile broadens, his eyes glimmering with mischief.Â
âYou and him?â He nods his head back in their direction, and you shrug with a confident smile, which soon falters when he leans in close to whisper in your ear. âSweetheart, if that were true, Iâd hate to be the one to tell you that your boyfriend is currently flirting up a storm with my brother.âÂ
He pulls back with a cocky smirk, and you canât contain yourself much longer. Laughter bubbles out of you uncontrollably because itâs true. You and Dean both watch as an uncomfortable Sam tries to dodge Mattyâs obvious advances with tears in your eyes.
âWe should probably go save him. Mattyâs nothing if not persistent.â You breathe out, still trying to calm yourself as you wipe gently at your under-eyes.
"Nah, Sammyâs a big boy; he can fend for himself.â Dean shrugs off with a smile. "Besides, you still have a question to answer and no more B.S.â He points at you half serious, and you canât find it in you to lie this time.Â
AN: There you go guys, my first bingo square complete. Let me know what you guys think. Also I am open to maybe expanding on this story, like a prequel and maybe another chapter... Let me know if you'd be interested to see more of this.

The small jiggle to your new flesh brought only elation to your head that laid back against pillows. Comfortable in the cotton. If only to further relax when warm fingers slowly rake up along your sides.
His soft breath hitch flutters your glimmering eyes up to his. Happiness pouring from them. Much like your legs down below leak at the minimal grinding the two of you shared but a moment ago.
âHowâd they look?â
The demon bites onto his lower lip at your question. It is answer enough. But just to be sure that you are well aware of his delight, he murmurs: âoh, sweet thing. They are beautiful.â
A finger adorned in rings, like the rest of his hand, slowly eases circles around you areola. Feeling the familiar yet foreign flesh. He smiles at the gasp that he draws from your lips. Lightly pressing down at he center and joining with his thumb. A small pinch befalls your bud. Shooting unknown pleasure from the base of your spine.
âDoes it feel good?â Valeriusâ croon brings heat to your face that he hovers over directly. You all but nod. Receiving both of his hands that cup at your breasts. Stroking his thumbs in slow, yet firm circles around your nipples.
âPretty girl. . .â
You already feel your eyes beginning to water. So you tilt your head back and drape a forearm across your brows. Your chest stuttering with shaky breaths as your sweet moans fill the air. If only to whine when you feel his comforting lips pepper kisses around your breasts. His long fingers fall back on massaging the plump flesh.
âPlease, do not hide from me, my love.â It spins within your ears. Makes them heat at the helixes. âMy pretty girls shouldnât hide from me. Not when Iâm making her feel good.â
You slip your arm from your teary eyes and bring them down to view his face just as his long, demonic tongue drips out of his mouth. Caressing one of your nipples and slowly swirling around. All the while - his gaze remains on yours. Lovingly. As though you are a god. A divine to a demon that he will worship for all eternity.
âValerius,â you quiver. It is the only time that his eyes flutter shut. Brows crease at the center and he puts his full focus on your soft mounds. Switching. Sucking. Licking. At one point he ventures to the valley and presses a bite. So that you might remember him when you pull on a new shirt for a few days.
Your spine finds an arch. Breaths and pants leaving your swollen lips. You can all but moan as his hands and mouth adorn you. Smearing his aphrodisiac saliva that makes everything feel as though it is spinning. As though you are on cloud nine. And he simply takes you higher - and higher -
âV-Valerius -!â you gasp. A cry tittering along your voice. Your hips steer up against his. Your head tilted into the pillow as warmth coils at the core of your tummy. âV-Vale - please -â
âI am here, αγΏÏη ÎŒÎżÏ
. I am here. Sshh. . .â a large, delicate hand flattens along the small of your back. Pressing you closer as he continues his divination on your breasts. As though it is all that he knows. All that he has ever known. âYou deserve - mmm - deserve this, pretty girl. All of it.â
The tears spill down your face. Hands shakily reach to thread into his long, gold strands that reminded you of sun rays. Streams of gold. It is all that floods your vision as arousal pools between your thighs with stuttered whines of his name.
âDoing so good,â he groans along your right breast. Hand massaging along the base as his lips and tongue lather over the nipple. As though he is addicted. And you are simply the sweetest of fruits. âThat is it. Keep going. My good girl. My best girl.â
It is all you will hear as your head spins. As he caresses you with the softest of touches. And stirs pleasure through your body for the night to come. Until you are clinging to him. Whining. So that he might kiss you and swallow all of your sweet, sweets sounds.

inspired by an unforgettable moment of spanish television!
masterlist
the crowd roared as bokuto and the national team stood on the podium, smiles bit and bright as they placed their brand new golden medal around their necks, adrenaline from their Olympic win running through their veins. the team waved their hands towards the audience and bokutoâs eyes roamed the crowd, stopping you.
you, microphone in hand, were weaving through the press line, trying to make your way towards front row with a professional calm that almost made bokuto laugh. it was your job, of course, but bokuto knew from the way your cheeks were red and you kept moving your microphone from one hand to another that you were just as thrilled as he was.
his team made their way towards different journalists, leaving bokuto to you. finally, face-to-face, he could see the sparkle of your eyes and your beautiful smile that always made him weak on the knees.
âbokuto-sanâ you began, voice steady. âcongratulations on winning gold! how does it feel to bring this home?â
âfeels amazing!â he exclaimed, his eyes never leaving yours. he was so incredibly happy and having you here either him was everything he could have asked for. âweâve worked so hard for this. itâs been a rough couple of months, i didnât know if i was going to make it after my hand injury but, yeah. grateful and happy and-â
suddenly, he cut himself off, aware of your teary eyes and he smiled, placing a hand on your cheek and cleaning a tear. he knew how much you had worked to get there and how much you had taken care of him when he broke his finger and went into surgery, taking him to all his appointments, holding him when he was stressed about his future, loving him.
he took a step forward to cup your face completely, curious eyes looking at them, cameras panning towards the sweet gesture.
without thinking, he kissed you. the stadium erupted in a cheer and some of his teammates did as well. as they parted, you blushed, looking up at him, trying to find your composure but clearly flustered.
âlove you. wouldnât be here without you.â bokuto said, voice full of warmth and conviction, not caring about the cameras and how it looked like on live television. bokuto took off his gold medal and placed in around your neck, kissing your cheeks. âsee you later.â
âo-okay.â
clearing your throat, you looked back at the camera, trying not to laugh at the cheering still erupting around them, at the sight of bokuto getting bombarded with questions from other press. you tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, hoping your voice wouldnât shake as much as your hands were. âwell, this has been⊠an unforgettable post-match interview,â you managed to say, lips twitching into a flustered smile. âreporting live from paris, where the national volleyball team has just taken the gold. i think we can all say this celebration has just started. thank you for all your cheers and support during the matches. youâll probably see more of our Olympic champions tomorrow.â you laughed softly, looking down to see the gold medal and you turned quickly to look at your silly boyfriend before turning back to the camera one last time. âthank you for tuning in and back to the studio for the weather report with yamada-san.â

Deep Forest (Jacob x FemHalfDemonReader)
Summary: Youâd overheard in your travels of a strong creatureâŠa hulking being that wanders the forest trails at twilight, seeking out easy marks. Begged and paid handsomely by the local villagers to exterminate this demon, you set the perfect trapâŠoffering yourself as bait. However youâre taken by surprise when your prey turns out to a very handsome human manâŠone that awakens a side of you that had long been buried. (Story and reader are somewhat inspired by one of my favorite animes, InuYasha)
Warnings: 18+ (mdni), because thereâs sooo much of the smut. Riding (giddy up), somewhat public smex, marking, fight for power/power imbalance, and⊠Jacobâs long, fat dick.
- Shrugging, slipping out of your black bodysuit. You let it fall silently to the forest floor, landing amongst your discarded armor and pack. Rustle Stretching lazily, inhaling the crisp mountain air. You discreetly take in your surroundings.  Crackle   Faint breeze coming from the east, causing the springâs surface to ripple. Bringing the tangy scent of fruit mixed with sweet flowers. Hints of musk, fresh sweat. Crunch
- A twig snaps somewhere behind, ringing throughout the clearing. You donât react initially, opting instead to let your prey think it still has the upper hand. To allow it to draw closer, just enough so youâre able toâŠ
- Leaves shift. The chitter of birdsong falls quiet, but only for a brief moment asâŠ
- Fingers automatically thread themselves into your weaponâs leather binding. Swinging it with trained ease, bringing it around to bear the weightâŠblock what you sense would be a blow to your right shoulder. However the attacker maneuvers to the left at the last moment; kicking out, sweeping your legs from underneath you.
- The two of tumble across the cold, hard ground. Thin blade slashes, misses your now dirt and mud-covered flesh by mere inches. Evading and rolling, you protect yourself to the best of your ability. Even landing a few well-placed hits with the blunt, curved edge of your boomerang. As you easily disarm one another, grappling for dominance in a passionate dance. One that will only end in one of two waysâŠlife or death.Â
- OrâŠperhapsâŠmaybeâŠ
- Straddling your attackerâs hips, you stare down at the naked man beneath you. Your shallow pants melding along with his; forming an almost soothing, erotic melody. Rising and drifting towards the purple, orange skies. âWho are you?â
- Although your question was more of a demand; it was still simple, straight to the point. Yet he only stares up at you silently. Blue eyes glazed over, something wild flickering deep within them.
- In retrospect, you probably shouldnât have won this fight. The man clearly stood a good head taller than you. Most likely outweighing you as well by a considerable amount. His body toned, heavily corded with powerful muscles. That flex, contort beneath you. Testing your balance, your grip around his thick neck. While radiating a warmth that leeches into your thighs, causesâŠ
- Stomach clenches, hips cant unconsciously. âWhat, too embarrassed to say? Upset that you were bested by a woman?â Sharpened nails scratch at, sink slightly into the vulnerable curve of his throat. âThought I would be an easy markâŠroll onto my back, part my legs for you like some spineless bitch?â
- A curious shudder vibrates through his form, sneer curling at the corners of his mouth.   âMmmh, I was hoping soâŠâ Considerable length, twitching and swelling. Hardening, pressing more firmly against your groin. âItâs been a long time since Iâve had something pretty like youâŠâ
- Breath catches, the coil inside your core tightens. You should be repulsed, put off  by his unsavory choice of words and actions. But thereâs something about it; coupled with having such a strong, large being pinned downâŠhelpless, under your control. That was oddly arousing, that awoke a side of yourself whichâŠ
- Head tilts to the side; a predatory, feral smile spreads across your face.  âIs that so?â  Impulsively you start to rock; rubbing yourself teasingly, slowly. The friction delicious, tantalizing. âMaybe we can come to an agreement thenâŠ?â
- âJacob,â he hisses through his teeth. Cock jerking and twitching. Smacking your stomach gently, smearing his pearly essence where your eager and fertile womb lay hidden. âWhat might you have in mindâŠ?â
- Picking up your pace, grinding against him harder. âI go by many names. Beast. Abomination. Half-breed. Demon.â Fighting your baser instincts to not whine, beg him to take you right then. Fill you withâŠÂ âAs for my real one thoughâŠIâll only grace you with it if you get the job done.â
- His eyebrows rose slightly, adamâs apple bobbed between your spread fingers. âA job, eh?â The smell of his excitement, the opium running through his veins making your nostrils flareâŠmouth water. âCare to elaborate more?â
- Lifting your hips, leaning forward. You line up your aching, soaked core with his bulbous, dripping tip. âItâs simple really. You give me a litter; a substantial, strong oneâŠâ  All the while keeping your gleaming eyes trained on himâŠhand still fast in place around his neck. âIâll give you an experience that youâve never encountered before. Not even in your wildest fantasiesâŠâ
- âAh, but what if I refuse?â He grunts, fingertips digging furrows in the wet soil beneath himâŠthighs trembling with anticipation under you. âOr what if I present to you a counter offer instead?â
- Nudging, allowing his head to slip past your tight rim. âThen it better be a good one.â Needy, desperate mewl falling from your lips. âLess you want me to leave your body here for the other predators to feast uponâŠâ Quickly transforms into a soft growl of warning. ââŠto rot here for eternity, in the deep forest.â
- Boldly, he grabs your sides. Squeezes, kneads the supple flesh. âMake me your mateâŠÂ Iâll be sure to have your belly swell every cycle with a brood of big pupsâŠâ Pulls you roughly, impales you on himself. Growling in his own gravelly, husky voice as you clench and flutter. From the burning, almost inhuman stretch. âFor as long as you wantâŠâ
- Slick trickles down his shaft; dampens his tuft of wiry, blond curls. âThen we have ourselves a deal, JacobâŠâ Shallow gasps escape you, washes over the crook of his neck. Tongue laps and licks at what you deem the perfect spot. âMateâŠâ And you sink your canines in. Marking him, making him irreversibly yours for the rest of his life.

With Ophelia now having an Idw version now can you give Lithia an idw version?
Can't wait to see who's going to be the next Buddy I have to make an IDW/MTMTE version!
Hope you enjoy!
IDW Lithia
SFW, Platonic, Familial, Angst, Mention of injury, Cybertronian reader
IDW/MTMTE
Meeting Lithia would always be one of Ratchetâs most treasured and surprising moments.
It was normal to see new parents suddenly becoming nervous about how they were going to raise their sparklings.
But it was new to see them THROW their sparkling.
Ratchet is talking with Orion Pax in the waiting room when there was a sudden loud set of pedes coming their way. Pharma was running to them fear and worry clear in his optics Pharma: âRatchet! Catch her!â Orion sees a small metal object flying straight to them. Ratchet is faster as he jumps up and catches the object. Pax catches him before he can fall on his back. Both mechs are surprised to see a little sparkling in loose wrappings. Two bots hurriedly run out of the clinic. Both bots: âFREEDOM!â Pharma: âThose were the parents!â Orion: âIâll get them.â Orion goes out the door to follow them, leaving a dumbfounded Ratchet staring confused at the sparkling who was just chirping and reaching for his face. Ratchet: âWhat just happenedâŠ?â
Orion never did find out where the parents went off to.
Ratchet offered to take care of the sparkling for the week until the sparkling unit was back online after the energy outage.
It was more than enough time for Ratchet to get attached to her.
He would never understand how her parents could even think on abandoning such a sweet little sparkling.
It was thanks to a little âbattery incidentâ that would give him the idea of her name.
Lithia, named after the 15 batteries, she tried to eat when he turned his back for 10 SECONDS!
Orion Pax is one of the first bots she meets after Ratchet thinks itâs a good idea to take her outside the normal routine.
The officer chuckled when he saw his friend with the sparkling from the clinic.
He had a feeling his friends soft spark would reach out for her.
Lithia takes an immediate liking to Orion.
Part of Ratchet is thankful that she takes a liking to him.
Ratchet: âAre you sure you can watch her? I know another bot who can gladlyââ Orion: âI have it under control Ratchet. You go cover your shift and I will take care of Lithia.â Lithia happily chirps as she starts playing with Paxâs digits. Ratchet sighs. Ratchet: âAll right. You two have fun. Goodbye Lithia, watch Uncle Orion.â Orion huffs a bit as Ratchet pats her helm affectionately and leaves. Lithia chirps sadly as the medic leaves. She looks up at Orion. Orion: âNow, letâs go see some other friends.â Later in the gladiatorâs quarters⊠Megatron: âPax⊠what is on your helm?â Lithia is on his helm gently playing with his finals, chirping softly. Orion twitches them every so often making her squeal in delight. Orion: âThis is Lithia, say hello Lithia.â Lithia chirps happily and waves at the gladiator. Megatron waves a bit at the sparkling.
It is when Lithia is a youngling she meets Drift.
Lithia was reviewing material for her entrance medical exams when Orion brought in a bot who was overdosing on boosters.
Ratchet took most care of the mech, Lithia made sure that the poor thing knew he was safe.
Drift wasnât sure if he was hallucinating when he saw a youngling grabbing his servo whispering positive mantras in his audial.
As cheesy as some of them where⊠they helped calm him down so the doctor could do his work quicker.
By the end, Lithia smiles at Drift and gives him an energon goodie and a sticker while waving goodbye.
He was nice to her it was the least she could do.
Loves cleaning Ratchetâs tools.
Ratchetâs spark swells with pride when Lithia came running in telling him that she had passed with flying colors.
Ratchet waits until she is a bit older to tell her what actually happened to her bio parents.
Lithia stares at the ground with slightly wide optics. Ratchet is sitting down next to her. Its silent. Lithia: ââŠThat was⊠unexpectedâŠâ Ratchet: âYes, I think it was for everyone that day⊠I understand if you do want to try and contact them, they are your parents after allââ Lithia: âWoah! Woah! Woah! Who says I want to contact them?â Ratchet: âYou donât?â Lithia: âNo! Why would I want to contact some poor excuses of parents who thought it was a good idea to throw their sparkling as a decoy to get out of the clinic.â Lithia huffs in bitterness. Ratchet: âI thought youâd be a bit more⊠sympathetic to this.â Lithia scoffs. Lithia: â⊠Itâs their loss in the end. Theyâd probably be terrible parents anyways. Plus, I already have the greatest parent on Cyberton!â Lithia wraps her arms around Ratchet. Ratchet grumbles a bit at the sudden hug but pulls her in for a side hug. Relief slowly washing over him. Ratchet: âI wouldnât say greatestâŠâ Lithia: âShh! You are!â
Ends up joining Ratchet and Orion to meet with Senator Shockwave, Chromedome and the Outliers.
She is just happy to be there.
Some of the bots are surprised to see such a sweet youngling have a grump of a parent like Ratchet.
It was in her final years of med school when the war started.
Goes with the Autobot faction as soon as Ratchet joins.
Ends up achieving Doctor status on accident after her squadâs doctor was shot by a stary blast making her the team doctor.
Lithia ended up getting everyone out of there.
She is referred to by doctor status even if she did not âofficiallyâ pass the exams.
But it was not like there were many available during the war.
Lithia is trying to fix a random bots servo. Lithia: âOkay if you just place your servo here, we can get started.â The bot keeps their servo to their side. Random bot: âI thought the doctors did this part?â Lithia: âWhile I am not 100% certified on paper, I can assure you I am as much of a doctor as Ratchet and Pharma are.â Lithia gently reaches for the bots servo. SMACK! Lithia slowly reached for her face where the bot had slapped her. Random bot: âI only see REAL doctors. Not some useless nurse pretendingââ SLAM! Lithia slams her servo on the worktable silencing the bot. Lithia smiles again, but her optics hold a barely controlled fury. Lithia: âNow you listen here⊠we do not have the luxury right now of having a full staff at the ready. If you need a reminder why, please take a right outside the room, another two lefts where youâll see the battlefield currently at our doorstep!â Lithia huffs a bit as her servo curls around a wrench while looking at the bot dead in the optic. Lithia: âSo, Iâm going to give you two options. The first option is easy, you apologize for slapping me and I fix your servo up so you can be on your way out the door. Or you choose the second option where you try and slap me again, I donât fix you, you have a wrench lodge deep in your tailpipe while most of the medical team and some of the higher officers come to see why a soldier physical harmed a doctor, who was just doing her job.â She is slightly satisfied seeing the bot slightly tremble. Lithia: âSo⊠option one or option two?â Ratchet walks over. Ratchet: âIs there a problem here?â Random bot: âFinally! An actual doctor! This crazy nurse was threatened me!â Lithiaâs grip on the wrench tightens as her optics narrow. Lithia: âI think you missed the part where you insulted my skills as a doctor and slapped me.â Ratchetâs optic twitched as he slowly looks at the random bot. The same fury that was in Lithiaâs optics was burning brighter in his. Ratchet: âThey did what!?â Every bot within a 10-mile radius feels Ratchetâs anger. After hours⊠Lithia is on the med slab letting Ratchet look at the are where she had been slapped. Lithia: âAs much as I appreciate you coming in, I had it handled.â She goes to touch the region, but her servo was swatted by Ratchetâs. Ratchet: âDonât touch it.â Lithia smiles a bit as Ratchet continued with his work.
After that incident Prowl, Ratchet and Ultra Magnus made sure that her record showed that Lithia was a certified doctor.
Tries her absolute best to keep a positive outlook on things and smile for the patients.
Someone had to during these times of war.
Many nights Ratchet finds her going back to his room, just wanting to be by his side and stay there.
He knows the feeling and gives her a side hug.
Its during one mission Lithia was separated from the group and cornered with an injured Wrecker.
No weapons, no way to communicate with the others, just a heavy med kit and a blaster low on cartilage.
Lithia was determined to make sure her patient made it out alive.
Lithia is cornered with her patient in a dead end. The shadow of the Con starts coming closer. She could see the glistening of the blaster in his servo. Stands protectively over the unconscious Wrecker. Lithia: âIf youâre going to shoot do it but leave the Wrecker alone.â The Con looks strangely familiar. He looks at her with a hint of curiosity. A minute passes before the Con lowers his blaster. Lithia could almost feel her spark give out. He turns to leave. Lithia: âThank youâŠâ Deadlock: âDeadlock. Get out of here kid. The war is no place for heroes.â
Lithia manages to find a better hiding spot until the heat dead down.
Eventually she was found by Bumblebee and Hot Rod.
Ratchet is so relief that Lithia is back safe.
Eventually the young doctor would meet the bot again, of course under the new name Drift.
Timeskip to the Lost Light boardingâŠ
Lithia had made up her mind to stay on Cybertron to help rebuild it.
Bumblebee and Prowl were going to need all the servos they could to rebuild a new Cybertron.
It was tough to say goodbye to her father, but they both agreed this was going to benefit them both.
Even if it hurtâŠ
She remembered gripping on Bumblebee and screaming seeing the Lost Light explode.
Lithia was a hollow shell for a while, mourning for her friends and father.
She eventually got better with time.
Rebuilding Cybertron was certainly a challenge, even with help by her friends.
Even starting to make a life for herself.
One example was becoming Amica Endura with Bumblebee.
As much as she had her suspicions on Starscream becoming the leader of Cybertron, Lithia had to admit that he was the best leader the planet had in a long time.
The death of Bumblebee tore her apart feeling and hearing the news.
Lithia would forever be thankful for Optimus coming back and helping her through the loss.
Optimus is sitting in a communications room with Skyfire. Lithia enters looking a bit tired. Lithia: âYou needed to see me?â Skyfire smiles at her. Skyfire: âThere is someone who wants to speak to you.â Lithia raises an optic, a bit confused but walks over the console. Lithia: âHello?â Ratchet: âLithia?â Lithia gasps as her servo goes straight to her mouth. Lithia: âDad?â Ratchet: âFinally this thing is working. Yes, Lithia, Iâm right here. How are you?â Lithia: âYouâre⊠youâre alive!?â Ratchet: âYes? Last time I checked I was?â THUD! Lithia had passed out. Ratchet: âLithia? Lithia are you there?â Optimus: âRatchet we are going to call you back later.â Ratchet: âWhy?â Optimus: ââŠShe may have passed outâŠâ Ratchet: âWhat? Why? This isnât new?â Optimus: âApparently no one told her that the crew was alive, including you.â Ratchet: â⊠Oh just those bots wait until I get thereâŠâ
